The purpose of research to determine and describe whether the concept of flash card utilization is able to increase students activity students in learning in Geography subject. Though geography is a very important subject, particularly in determining the ample number of fauna found in Indonesia, which is even categorized as an endemic fauna. In addition, the manner in delivering subtopic which is considered monotonous by relying solely on reading books and summarizing what they have read are two things that are not surprising. Hence, those two facts encourage students not perform geography lessons enthusiastically. Considering the problems that occur, therefore I am interested in engaging the learning media "Flash Card" in delivering Subtopic of fauna distributions, especially in Indonesia. In each of these Flash Cards there is information regarding the fauna, starts from the picture, name, location of the distribution area, and animal characteristics. After performing the learning process engaging Flash Cards, students were divided into several groups and present Indonesia map along with regions name in front of the class. Then, the teacher would provide some questions related to the fauna characteristics and the groups were asked to answer questions by mentioning names and showing the origin of the fauna asked in the map. During this learning, students will likely compete againts other groups, but happened to be a pleasant circumstance without pressure. And at the end of the chapter, students will take a written test related to fauna distribution subtopic. The final result after applying the media "Flash Cards" turned out to be succeesful in improving student learning outcomes, especially upon fauna distribution subtopic in Indonesia at class XI IPS 1 SMA XinZhong Surabaya. As many as 28 students out of 36 students who did not accomplishminimum standard of 75 points, after engaging the media "Flash Card" they decreased up to only 3 students who did not meet the minimum criteria. Thereby, this result indicates that "Flash Card" mediautilization helps students to understand properly, embrace the subtopic adequately, and assist students to obtain better grades. Development of interactive multimedia is one solution to problem unsatisfactory Indonesian language learning outcomes. This research is a research and development, especially the development phase, namely a wide-scale tryout. From the data analysis, it's found that the media is very practical seen from the students and teachers' responses. The media are also very effective from two aspects, namely the students’ learning outcomes and the students’ activities. Thus, the developed media can be applied and disseminated for Indonesian language learning in 5th elementary schools.

This study aims to determine 1) the feasibility of inquiry-based e-LKPD, 2) the importance of e-LKPD in the process of learning mathematics in elementary schools, 3) the improvement of students' mathematics learning outcome. The syntax of inquiry-based e-LKPD is student orientation to problems, organizing students to learn, guiding the investigation of individual and group participants, developing and presenting work results, analyzing and evaluating problem-solving processes. The data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The results showed that the low thematic learning outcomes of students was due to the fact that educators had not fully used teaching materials and models that could improve learning outcomes, so it was hoped that the inquiry-based e-LKPD could improve the fourth grade students’ thematic learning. It is clear that inquiry is one of the learning strategies that can be applied as a solution in improving student learning outcomes, in accordance with the characteristics of the students. Therefore, it can be concluded that the inquiry-based e-LKPD to improve student learning outcomes in elementary schools needs to be developed.

Quasi-experimental research design with pretest-posttest control group design, involving two groups: experimental group was taught learning of strategies PAILKEM in Outdoors Study methods and control groups were taught with conventional learning. This study aims to determine, 1) how the result of students learn geography of the control group, 2) how the results of students learn geography of the experimental group, 3) whether there are differences in geography student learning outcomes between the two groups, 4) whether learning strategies PAILKEM in Outdoor Study methods effective against learning geography results in students XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Tanete Rilau. Sampling is done with Purposive Sampling. Data collection was carried out through the provision of pre-test and post-test. Data analyzed descriptive and inferential. The results showed that: 1) learning outcome of groups control score average learning outcomes 73.17 and there are 50 percent of the number of learners who achieve the value criterion exhaustiveness, 2) learning outcome of experiment groups average score earned 81.50 93.33 percent and there were a number of learners who achieve the value exhaustiveness minimum criteria or has been completed, 3) there is a significant difference between the results of the study of geography is taught by learning strategies PAILKEM in Outdoor Study method and a control group who were taught with the conventional learning , 4)  learning strategies PAILKEM in the Outdoor Study method is effective in improving outcomes of learning geography grade XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Tanete Rilau, Barru Regency


This article aims to explain the practicality and effectiveness of interactive multimedia in Indonesian language learning at class V of elementary school. This research is an R&D conducted in four stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. This article is prepared based on the development stage, i.e. a large scale try out. The respondents are 5 teachers and 130 students of 5 elementary schools in Padang Timur, Padang, Sumatera Barat, Indonesia. The data are the students’ and teachers’ response towards a questionnaire, scores of students’ learning outcomes, and recordings of the students’ activities during learning process. The teachers’ and students’ responses to the questionnaires and student learning outcomes were analyzed quantitatively, while the recordings of students’ activities were analyzed qualitatively. The result of the research shows that, firstly, the media are practical because the average score of the teachers’ responses is 4.58 and students’ responses is 4.53 on a scale of 1 to 5. Secondly, the media are effective to use because the student were learning seriously and enthusiastically by using this media, and the average of student learning outcomes is 87.20 on a scale of 1 to 100. Thus, the developed media can be applied and disseminated for Indonesian language learning in 5th elementary schools.

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh metode pembelajaran demonstrasi menggunakan media kartu terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa materi bilangan bulat di kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Palembang. Subjek yang diteliti yaitu siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Palembang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen yang dilakukan terhadap populasi. Dari data yang telah terkumpul diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan metode demonstrasi menggunakan  media kartu adalah 76,26 dengan jumlah siswa 34 orang. Sedangkan hasil belajar matematika siswa menggunakan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori diperoleh nilai rata-rata 65,88 dengan jumlah siswa 34 orang. Karena penelitian dilakukan pada populasi, maka statistik yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima apabila nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen > nilai rata-rata kontrol. Jadi, sesuai dengan hasil penelitian bahwa nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen yaitu 76.26 > nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol yaitu 65,88. Maka hipotesis diterima atau ada perbedaan antara hasil belajar dengan metode demonstrasi menggunakan media kartu dan hasil belajar menggunakan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori pada pokok bahasan penjumlahan dan pengurangan pada bilangan bulat di kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Palembang. Kata Kunci: media kartu, penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat    Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of the demonstration learning method using card media on the mathematics learning outcomes of integer material students in grade VII SMP Negeri 10 Palembang. The subjects studied were students class VII of SMP Negeri 10 Palembang. This type of research is an experiment carried out on the population. From the data that has been collected, it is obtained that the average value of the mathematics learning outcomes of students who take the learning method using the media card demonstration is 76.26 with a total of 34 students. While the mathematics learning outcomes of students using expository learning strategies obtained an average value of 65.88 with a total of 34 students. Because the research was carried out on the population, the statistics used were descriptive statistics. The hypothesis in this study is accepted if the average value of the experimental class > the average value of the control. So, in accordance with the results of the study that the average value of the experimental class is 76.26 > the average value of the control class is 65.88. So the hypothesis is accepted or there is a difference between learning outcomes and the demonstration method using card media and learning outcomes using expository learning strategies on the subject of addition and subtraction of integers in class VII SMP Negeri 10 Palembang. The problem on this research was that the low score of students’ learning on social science study. There werestill a lot of students that did not understand basic concepts and tended to memorize examples. It was showed by58,07% from 31 students achieving minimum criteria completeness (KKM) from students’ test score in IVCclass of SDN 108 Pekanbaru for Koperasi subject. The students’ average score was 62,4, and the KKM stated byschool was 68. Based on this problem it was needed to do an action research using cooperative learning modelsTeams Games Tournaments (TGT) type. This research aims to know whether the implementation of cooperativelearning models Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) type can improve students’ social science learningoutcomes at IVC class of SDN 108 Pekanbaru in 2013/2014 with 31students. This research was done in twocycles. First cycle consists of three meetings with one daily test and first tournament, and cycle II consists ofthree meetings with one daily test and second tournament. Instruments to collect data in this research areteacher’s observation sheets, students’ observation sheet, and tests. By implementing using cooperative learningmodels Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) type can improve students’ mathematics learning outcomes.Percentage of completeness in basic score was 54,8% (62,40 in average), and it changed into 77,4% (75,6 inaverage) in cycle I and 87,1% (81,1 in average) in cycle II. Percentage of teacher’ activity in cycle I was 81,9%and 92,3% in cycle II. Then percentage of students’ activity in cycle I was 75,4% and 92,2% in cycle II. Fromthose data it proves that the implementation of cooperative learning models Teams Games Tournaments (TGT)type can improve students’ learning outcomes at IVC class of SDN 108 Pekanbaru.Key Words : cooperative teaching and learning model, Teams Games Tournaments (TGT),learning outcomes

This research is motivated by the poor results of Study Social Sciences (IPS) Student Class VI SDN 024 Tarai Bangun Kecamatan Tambang. This study aims to determine the resulting increase studying social sciences (IPS) student class VI SDN 024 Tarai Bangun Kecamatan Tambang through the application of learning strategies go to yuor post, which carried out for 1 month. The subjects were VI SDN 024 Tarai Bangun Kecamatan Tambang by the number of students as many as 38 people. Form of research is classroom action research. The research instrument consists of instruments and instrument performance data collection activity observation sheet form teacher and student activity. Based on the research, the conclusion to this study is based on the analysis and discussion in chapter IV can be concluded that the application of learning strategies go to yuor post can improve learning outcomes in the subject of social sciences grade VI SDN 024 Tarai Bangun Kecamatan Tambang. Evidenced by the increase in learning outcomes before action to the first cycle, to cycle II. Before the act of student learning outcomes classified as unresolved with an average of 59%, an increase in the first cycle by an average of 69%. While the results of student learning in the second cycle must be increased by an average of 75% with the category completed.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) hasil belajar menggambar teknik siswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran elaborasi lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori, (2) hasil belajar menggambar teknik siswa yang memiliki motif berprestasi tinggi lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang memiliki motif berprestasi rendah dan (3) interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dengan motif berprestasi dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar menggambar teknik siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian faktorial 2x2, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan ANAVA dua jalur pada taraf signifikansi a = 0.05. Hasil penelitian diperoleh: (1) hasil belajar menggambar teknik siswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran elaborasi lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori, (2) hasil belajar menggambar teknik siswa yang memiliki motif berprestasi tinggi lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa yang memiliki motif berprestasi rendah dan (3) terdapat interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dengan motif berprestasi dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar menggambar teknik siswa.   Kata Kunci: strategi pembelajaran elaborasi dan ekspositori, motif berprestasi, hasil belajar menggambar teknik   Abstract: This research was aimed to: (1) the learning outcomes of students who are taught drawing techniques with learning strategy elaboration higher than students taught by expository learning strategy, (2) drawing techniques learning outcomes of students who have high achievement motive higher than students who have low achievement motive, and (3) the interaction between learning strategy and achievement motives in affecting student learning outcomes drawing techniques. The research method used was quasi experiment with 2 x 2 factorial design. The analysis technique used is the two-track analysis of variance ANOVA (2 x 2) with a significance level α = 0.05. The findings of the study indicate: (1) the learning outcomes of students who are taught drawing techniques with learning strategy elaboration higher learning outcomes than students taught by expository learning strategy; (2) drawing techniques learning outcomes of students who have high achievement motive higher than the learning outcomes of students who have low achievement motive; and (3) there is interaction between learning strategy and achievement motives in affecting student learning outcomes drawing techniques. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan :(1) Untuk mengetahui hasil belajar ekonomi siswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran berbasis masalah lebih tinggi dari siswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori. (2) Untuk mengetahui hasil belajar  ekonomi siswa yang memiliki tipe kepribadian ekstrovert dan siswa yang memiliki kepribadian introvert. (3) Untuk mengetahui interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dengan tipe kepribadian  terhadap hasil belajar Ekonomi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain faktorial 2 x 2. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif untuk menyajikan data dan dilanjutkan dengan statistik inferensial dengan menggunakan ANAVA dua jalur dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05 yang dilanjutkan dengan uji Scheffe. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) hasil belajar ekonomi siswa yang diajarkan dengan strategi pembelajaran berbasis masalah lebih tinggi dari pada hasil belajar ekonomi siswa yang diajarkan dengan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori; (2) hasil belajar ekonomi siswa yang memiliki kepribadian ekstrovert lebih tinggi dari pada hasil belajar ekonomi siswa yang memiliki tipe kepribadian introvert; (3) terdapat interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dengan tipe kepribadian  dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Hipotesis ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran berbasis masalah lebih tepat daripada model pembelajaran ekspositori dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar ekonomi siswa, dan siswa yang memiliki tipe kepribadian ekstrovert akan memperoleh hasil yang lebih baik dari pada siswa yang memiliki tipe kepribadian introvert. Kata Kunci: strategi pembelajaran, tipe kepribadian, hasil belajar ekonomi. Abstract: This study aims: (1) To find out the results of students' economic learning taught by problem-based learning strategy is higher than students who are taught by expository learning strategy. Vocational schools (SMK) is a secondary education that preparesstudents primarily for working on a particular field. Diverse efforts made by SMKgraduates increased 8 Medan include improving the quality of education byreforming both the substance of the material and the provision of facilities andinfrastructure. However, the results have not been up, cermatan can be seen fromthe low competence of graduates, making it less able to play a role in meeting thedemands of the workplace. Assumed to be an indication of the quality of learning isstill performed during less effective, less efficient and unable to increase studentinterest. In order to achieve maximum learning outcomes is through theimprovement of learning strategies to utilize the educational facilities in accordancewith existing conditions, ie, by examining one of the subjects namely Constructiondressmaking pattern. Construction material pattern done with learning strategyapproach manipulated into two comparing results STAD cooperative learningstrategies and learning strategies expository and compare the results with thelearning characteristics of students with high and low interest in learning onlearning outcomes Pattern Construction.
