This research tries to find the text structure and also the personal and educational values of a children poem by Achmad Syauqi (1868-1932 M) entitled <em>“</em><em>Sulaimān wath-Thāwūs”. </em>The theory used is Michael Riffaterre’s semiotic. It is a discipline which studies system, rules, and conversions which enables to see the meaning of the sign. The method used is descriptive qualitative, which explains data in form of word, phrases, sentences, or expressions in the text. Not only that this research also reveals the personal and educational values of the text. In this case the purpose of this research is <em>first</em>, to explain the poem’s text structure and <em>second</em>, to reveal the personal and educational values as contribution to children poems. It is found that the text structure of <em>“</em><em>Sulaimān wath-Thāwūs” </em> has a single relation between elements so it gives a clear meaning. The personal and educational values given in the text <em>“</em><em>Sulaimān wath-Thāwūs” </em>includes emotional growth, intelligent, imaginations, ethical and religious growth, exploration, language, aesthetic values and reading habit.

This research aims to describe the structure of the text and the meaning of the poetry on the book Ta'līmu Al-Muta'allīm by Burhānuddīn Az-Zarnūji. This research will be analyzed through structural and Roman Ingarden's strata of norm approach which reveals about educational values. This descriptive qualitative research employs observation and note technique as a method of data collection, in which the researcher records data in the form of verses in the Ta'līmu Al-Muta'allīm book, especially those in chapter 5. The poetry data found, is analyzed by using data triangulation. The results of the research show that the text structure of the poetry of the book Ta'līmu Al-Muta'allīm by Burhānuddīn Az-Zarnūji consists of five layers, including 1) sound layer, 2) meaning layer, 3) layers of things that are stated, 4) the world layer, and 5) the metaphysical layer. Meanwhile, the educational values contain in the meaning of the poetry include the values of religious education, the values of moral education, the values of social education, the values of cultural education, and the values of aesthetic education.

This article accomplishes to explore participant’s tenor of discourse in Indonesia’s court trial cyanide case by using four aspects of tenor are played in court trial process (Seragih, 2014). The implication tenor of discourse in Indonesia’s court trial cyanide case is social role relationship played by participants (Halliday, 2002; 2014). The social role relationship among of participants is purposed to make audiences understand the text structure court trial easily and to invite them to do something toward meaning of process. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The data of this study were taken from some sources in you tube. The data were transcripts into Indonesian language orthographically from seventeen dialog conversation which delivered in different session of court trial. The tenor of discourse in Indonesia’s court trial cyanide case how lawyers and prosecutors dominant asked witness and expertise testimony to prove defendant as murder. Finally, we found that the most dominant used tenor of discourse that appear from each session in text structure of court trial was [formal/equal/positive/frequent].

The art of puppet making known in the community with tatah sungging art. In current society the tatah sungging art increasingly marginalized by the development era. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Initially tatah sungging art in the Kepuhsari village carried by a puppeteer named Ki Guno Wasito which was later revealed to posterity who subsequently developed in the community of Kepuhsari village. Tatah sungging art in the making of the puppet is a combination of the tatah (chisel) and sungging (coloring). The values contained in the tatah sungging art that is the economic values, moral / educational values, cultural and artistic value, historical value and cultural preservation. This values are deeply embedded in society  ABSTRAKSeni pembuatan wayang dikenal dimasyarakat dengan seni tatah sungging. Dalam masyarakat saat ini seni tatah sungging semakin terpinggirkan akibat perkembangan jaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai sejarah perkembangan seni tatah sungging di Desa Kepuhsari, teknologi pembuatan wayang kulit serta nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam seni tatah sungging tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Awalnya seni tatah sungging di Desa Kepuhsari dibawa oleh seorang dalang bernama Ki Guno Wasito yang kemudian diturunkan ke anak cucunya dan selanjutnya berkembang di masyarakat Desa Kepuhsari. Seni tatah sungging dalam pembuatan wayang merupakan perpaduan dari tatah (pahat) dan sungging (mewarnai). Nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam seni tatah sungging yaitu nilai ekonomi, nilai moral/edukatif, nilai seni dan budaya serta nilai historis dan pelestarian budaya. Nilai-nilai tersebut melekat dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat.

This study describes and explains in detail the linguistic meaning of the Sasak mantra, the function of the mantra, and the text structure of the Sasak mantra. The meaning of the mantra is also related to the culture that exists in the area that is the location of the research. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method and ethnographic method. wind, jelo, full moon, sea, gumi, sky, and betu are used to produce a strong suggestion. (2) plant symbols, namely angn, apuh, buaq, mako, glemper, shoots, tojang, paoq kayuk, and flower are used to cause the suggestion of attractiveness. (3) animal symbols, namely yellow kecial, jaran guying, kolo, ptuk and propeller. The term 'kecial kuning' is used to give rise to suggestion of attractiveness, the term jaran guyang has the effect of suggesting strength. The term kolo, ptuk, balang has the effect of suggesting damage. (4) mythical symbols, namely the terms bidederi-bidedere, mas bejeboh, mentinggang mentang, crazy singang, betara guru, betara lenjang, and goldfish. Bidederi-bidedere is used to cause the effects of beauty suggestion. Mas Bejeboh authority. Singgang mentune, singang crazy, betara guru is used to cause suggestions of the authorities of the springs. Betara levels are used to cause the suggestion of the ruler of the rain. (5) Islamic religious symbols, namely basmlah, creed, kun fayakun, Prophet Muhammad, alif, Allah, prophet David, prophet Sulaiman, Syaidina Ali, Assalamu, Prophet Allah Adam, Jibrail, Fatimah-Fatimah. The existence of a term in Islamic religious signifies the language of the mantra that the people of Lombok are very religious and believe that chosen beings such as prophets, guardians, angels, prophet's friends can be used as mediators in asking for something.

This research is motivated by the large number of people who assume that in the activities of pencak silat there are many negative things especially to their members. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The results of this study found interesting facts that in this martial arts activities there are Islamic educational values, namely the value of faith (I'tiqodiyyah), moral values ​​(khuluqiyyah), and amaliyah values. The form of internalization of Islamic education values ​​towards pencak silat activities is to teach the values ​​of faith by inviting prayer together before holding exercises and also sparring, inviting that to always trust Allah SWT. Always respect people who are older both in terms of age and knowledge. Always maintain brotherhood and create benefit for the people of the nation's progress. After the researcher gets the data, the writer gives a few suggestions: 1) a trainer or chairman should discipline the training time so that the results of the exercise can be as expected. 2) More emphasis on the values ​​of Islamic education so that its adherents can achieve the basic objectives of the GASMI martial arts. [Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya masyarakat yang beranggapan bahwasanya dalam kegiatan pencak silat itu banyak mengandung hal-hal negatif terlebih pada anggotanya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan fakta menarik bahwasanya dalam kegiatan pencak silat ini terdapat nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yaitu nilai keimanan (I’tiqodiyyah), nilai akhlak (khuluqiyyah), dan nilai amaliyah. Adapun bentuk internalisasi nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam terhadap kegiatan pencak silat ini adalah dengan mengajarkan nilai-nilai keimanan dengan cara mengajak do’a bersama sebelum diadakannya latihan danjuga latih tanding, mengajak agar supaya selalu tawakal kepada Allah SWT. Selalu menghormati orang yang lebuh tua baik baik dari segi umur maupun ilmunya.Selalu menjaga persaudaraan dan menciptakan kemaslahatan masyarakat kemajuan bangsa. Setelah peneliti mendapatkan data-data maka penulis memberikan sedikit saran: 1) hendaknya seorang pelatih maupun ketua lebih mendisiplinkan waktu latihan agar hasil dari latihan tersebut bisa seperti apa yang di harapkan. 2) Lebih menekankan lagi nilai-nilai pendidikan islam agar para penganutnya bisa mencapai tujuan dasar dari pencak silat GASMI tersebut]

<p>This research explores the origins of the Ambe-ambeken Dance from Singkil Regency, the form of the Ambe-ambeken Dance, and analyzes the ethnomathematics. As a cultural entity, the Singkil people have a dance known as the Ambe-ambeken or Sakhindayong dance. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method to describe the Ambe-ambeken dance based on historical, anthropological and mathematical approaches. Although the variety of movements looks simple at first glance, this dance is a form of technology of enchantment that is full of wisdom and has an essential role in shaping the community's personality and the spread of Islam in Singkil through the poems that are sung during the dance. Then from a different perspective, it was found that there is a mathematical element that many people do not realize in a traditional dance, namely a geometric transformation. This fact leads to a new assumption that culture in the past was built on spirituality and aesthetic values and by applying mathematical principles in various aspects of life.</p><p align="left"> <em>Penelitian ini mengungkap asal-usul Tari Ambe-ambeken dari Kabupaten Singkil, bentuk Tari Ambe-ambeken serta menganalisis etnomatematika pada Tari Ambe-ambeken Sebagai sebuah entitas kultural, masyarakat Singkil memiliki sebuah tarian yang dikenal sebagai tari Ambe-ambeken atau Sakhindayong.. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tari ambe-ambeken berdasarkan pendekatan Sejarah, Antropologi dan Matematika. </em><em>Meskipun sepintas ragam geraknya terlihat sederhana, tetapi tarian ini merupakan bentuk technology of enchantment yang sarat akan kearifan dan memiliki peranan penting dalam pembentukan kepribadian masyarakat serta penyebaran agama Islam di Singkil melalui syair-syair yang dibawakan selama tarian berlangsung. Kemudian dari sisi yang berbeda, ditemukan bahwa ada unsur matematika yang tidak disadari oleh banyak orang dalam suatu tarian tradisional, yakni berupa transformasi geometri. Fakta ini mengarahkan pada asumsi baru bahwa kebudayaan di masa lalu tidak hanya dibangun atas dasar spiritualitas dan nilai estetika semata, tetapi juga dengan menerapkan</em> <em>prinsip matematika dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan.</em></p>

 This study aims to see the value of any character education found in children's literature entitled “The Youngest Frog”, “Si Molek”, “Masarasenani and Sun”, and “Tiny Boy” by Murti Bunanta. Children's literature is a literary work written by adults and intended for children. This study used descriptive qualitative intends to understand the phenomenon of what is experienced by the subject of research. This study revealed that the use of dominant character education values can be seen in the value of love peace, hard work, communicative, creative, and curiosity with the amount of data 4 or 13 percentage. Values of character education are manifested in the democratic and religious values.

This study to analyze and describe the educational values of characters contained in java textbooks of elementary school of curriculum DIY. This research expected to produce the findings on any character education in accodance with the guide lines of character education and culture of the ministry of National Education and Culture. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative approach in order to describe the educational values of characters cntained in Java textbooks of Elementary School of Curriculum DIY the published by Erlangga, Tiga Serangkai, and Yudistira. Based on research that has been done is produced findings that not all the values of character education according to the guidelines of character education and culture of the Ministry of National Education and Culture totaling eighteen value of character education, contained in the Java language textbook published by Yudistira, Erlangga, and the Tiga Serangkai. Therefore, researchers gave suggestions to the author of textbooks, in order to pay more attention to the contents of the content of a book he wrote. Especially in terms of integrating the values of education. then for teachers, to be more selective in choosing books that will be used to teach. On the other hand, teachers should know and understand the values of character education contained in the book uses.Keywords: character, textbooks, javanesse language

This research dealt with the Javanese personal names in Kelurahan Tanjung Mulia. The objectives of this descriptive qualitative study were (1) to determine the sources of name of Javanese personal names, (2) to describe the forms of modern names, and (3) to explain the reasons of name choice that the Javanese parents chose their children’s name as the way they did. The data were obtained from Javanese children’s personal names and Javanese parents’ interview result. The data were identified, analyzed and categorized based on (Rasekh, 2012), (Sahid, 2013) and (Virkkula, 2014) theories. The findings of the study showed that: (1) there were thirteen sources of name were found in Kelurahan Tanjung Mulia, Medan namely names of motherland, personal features, occupations, the time of birth, objects around, traditions or local customs, variations of another name, geographical places, names of important people, names ofancestors, names based on nature, harmonyof names, and innovation names, (2) three forms of modern name were found as well in Kelurahan Tanjung Mulia, namely names with a Javanese influence, the use of western name elements and names with an Islamic influence, (3) the reasons of name choice were found as tradition and family, international names, aesthetic values and positive meanings, current names and parents’ name identity. <p>This research aims to examine the form of Luwu's local value-relevance in anti-corruption education, madrasa efforts in instilling Luwu's local wisdom values in anti-corruption education, teacher's strategy in instilling Luwu's local wisdom values in Anti-corruption education in State Madrasah Aliyah Palopo using descriptive qualitative methods. Data sources used primary data from principals, vice principals and teachers of moral akidah, Al-Qur'an hadith, and PKn as well as students through interviews, while secondary data from school documents. The instrument is the researcher himself who collects and selects informants as sources of data, analyzes data, and manages data. Supporting instruments for observation sheets, interview sheets, cameras, recorders, and stationery. The results of the study show that, the relevance of local wisdom in anti-corruption education in the assessment of educational values with the creation of a religious atmosphere in the madrasa environment.</p>
