Based on Riskesdas in 2018, the prevalence of diabetes mellitus in Indonesia based on interviews showed an increase from 1.1 percent (2007) to 2.1 percent in 2019. The International Diabetes Federation (IDF) estimates that DM sufferers in Indonesia in 2020 will amount to 178 million people aged over 20 years and assuming a DM prevalence of 4.6%, 8.2 million DM patients will be obtained. The most data on visits from internal medicine policymakers at the outpatient clinic of Islamic Hospital in Surabaya were diabetes militus. One of the most common complications of diabetes mellitus is diabetic foot, which can manifest as ulcers, infections and gangrene and Charcot's arthropathy. The method used in this community service activity is carried out to increase knowledge and understanding of public awareness by doing foot exercises to reduce sugar levels. This community service activity is carried out by educating patients with diabetes at the Internal Medicine Department of the Islamic Hospital Surabaya. Diabetes exercise carried out by the GLC group which was carried out independently by the participants showed an average decrease in sugar levels with an average of 12.5 points with participants who routinely did regular exercise 4 times a week showing the largest number of points of decline. AbstrakDiabetes Mellitus (DM) merupakan penyakit kronik yang membutuhkan pengelolaan seumur hidup. Adapun maksud dan tujuan kami melakukan kegiatan penyuluhan kesehatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang penyakit DM serta meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya melakukan senam kaki diabetik secara rutin untuk menurunkan kadar gula darah. Dalam kegiatan kali ini kami berperan sebagai penyuluh atau narasumber selama prosedur pelaksanaan senam kaki diabetik didemonstrasikan. Untuk memperlancar jalannya acara, kami juga dibantu oleh 10 mahasiswa semester VI. Rangkaian kegiatan dimulai dengan perkenalan, penjelasan maksud dan tujuan, penyampaian materi DM. Setelah semua materi tersampaikan dilanjutkan penataan lokasi untuk demonstrasi senam kaki diabetik. Peserta duduk diatas kursi yang telah disediakan. Semua terlihat cukup antusias mengikuti setiap instruksi dan contoh gerakan dari penyuluh. Setelah semua materi tersampaikan dilanjutkan evaluasi. Adapun evaluasi subyektif yaitu dengan menanyakan perasaan peserta setelah kegiatan; sedangkan evaluasi obyektif adalah dengan menanyakan kembali urutan gerakan senam kaki yang baru saja dipelajari. Hasil dari kegiatan penyuluhan kesehatan ini adalah terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang penyakit DM dan peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya  senam kaki diabetik. Kata kunci: Penyuluhan kesehatan; diabetes mellitus; pengetahuan; keterampilan; senam kaki diabetik.  AbstractDiabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease that requires continuous management. AbstractThe incidence of stunting in children can cause the low quality of a country's Human Resources (HR). Stunting causes poor cognitive abilities, low productivity, and increased risk of disease resulting in long-term losses for the Indonesian economy. Stunting also has other long-term impacts, namely the risk of suffering from chronic diseases such as diabetes mellitus (DM), coronary heart disease, hypertension, cancer, and stroke. Community participation is needed in the government's efforts to tackle stunting. Community behavior problems that are factors that cause stunting include 1) Lack of environmental hygiene 2) Lack of knowledge of mothers about health and nutrition 3) Busy parents 4) Poverty. GERMAS CETING (Community Movement to Prevent Stunting) is a community movement that is carried out jointly and continuously in order to increase public awareness in stunting prevention efforts with the main target of the entire community being Cadres, pregnant women and mothers of toddlers and other potential groups by integrating all specific interventions and interventions. sensitive. GERMAS CETING (Gerakan masyarakat cegah stunting) merupakan gerakan masyarakat yang dilakukan secara bersama dan berkesinambungan dalam rangka meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dalam upaya pencegahan stunting dengan sasaran seluruh masyarakat utamanya adalah Kader, ibu hamil dan ibu balita serta kelompok potensial lainnya dengan mengintegrasikan seluruh intervensi spesifik dan intervensi sensitive. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan kader dan ibu balita tentang Stunting serta Meningkatkan ketrampilan kader dan ibu balita dalam pembuatan makanan tambahan sesuai dengan usia anak. Abstract Background. Prevalensidiabetes mellitus in Indonesia potentially increased dramatically from 8.4 million people in 2000 to 21.3 million people in 2030. Diabetes mellitus may develop so bad with various complicated, diabetus mellitus of year to year growing a wide range of treatment options including non- medicinal chemistry ( Hebal ) . One type of therapy is continuously studied using mangosteen peel efectivitness. Research Objectives. Knowing the effect of the consumption of mangosteen rind to decrease blood sugar in the Village District of Boja Meteseh Kendal This is a research Methods. Quasi experiment with pre- post design eksperimental.Responden study are all patients with diabetes mellitus in the village of Boja Meteseh many as 17 people , as many as 16 samples taken. Sampling technic used was simple random sampling . Data obtained by the method of observation of assessing the results of measurements of blood sugar levels before and after taking of mangosteen skin . The data were processed with pairet t - test ( p = 0.05 ) using SPSS 18 . Results : ( 1 ) blood sugar levels before taking mangosteen peel at the most in the range of 301-400 mg / dL with a percentage of 43.75 % , the lowest blood sugar levels in the category of 501-600 mg / dL , with a percentage of 12.5 % , with an average value of 392.63 . ( 2 ) Blood sugar levels after consumption of mangosteen peel at the most in the range of 200-300 mg / dL , the percentage of blood sugar levels are the lowest in the category of 501-600 mg / dL , with a percentage of 12.5 % , with an average value of 371.31 mg / dL ( 3 ) There are significant differences in blood sugar levels before and after consuming mangosteen peel with a value of 0.001 t - Test Conclusion : Consumption of mangosteen peel significant effect on lowering blood sugar levels by t - test results of 5 % ( 0.05), obtained P value of 0.001. Abstract   Exploitation of natural resources through unlicensed gold mining (PETI) is not in accordance with mining operational standards occurring along the Noeltoko River, West Miomaffo Subdistrict, Timor Tengah Utara Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province resulting in damage and environmental degradation. Changes and environmental damage include the formation of dug holes around the river flow, turbidity of water, changes in river flow. Other problems that arise are conflicts between these PETI workers and with other communities. This community service activity aims to provide an understanding to the community about the importance of maintaining and caring for rivers from excavation in the river walls that can cause debris / landslides explaining the impact of the use of hazardous materials such as mercury / mercury and cyanide, socialization of regulations regarding the formation of People's Mining Areas (WPR) ), introducing "sluice box" equipment to help the process of separating gold sand from sand. This activity was supported by the UPT ESDM Atambua Branch and was followed by 40 people who used to mine on the Noeltoko river. Perubahan dan kerusakan lingkungan tersebut diantaranya terbentuk lubang-lubang galian di sekitar aliran sungai, kekeruhan air, berubahnya aliran sungai.. Permasalahan lain yang timbul adalah konflik antar pekerja PETI ini maupun dengan masyarakat lain. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat mengenai pentingnya menjaga dan merawat sungai dari penggalian di dinding sungai yang dapat mengakibatkan runtuhan/longsoran menjelaskan dampak penggunaan bahan berbahaya seperti air raksa/merkuri dan sianida, sosialisasi peraturan tentang pembentukan Wilayah Pertambangan Rakyat (WPR), mengenalkan peralatan “sluice box” untuk membantu proses pemisahan buiran emas dari pasir.Kegiatan ini didukung oleh pihak UPT ESDM Cabang Atambua dan dikuti oleh 40 orang masyarakat yang biasa menambang di sungai Noeltoko. The prevalence of diabetes mellitus in Manggarai Regency in 2019 is 535 people and some of them have diabetic foot ulcers. Patients with diabetic foot ulcers had a higher risk of falling than others.This study was to determine the risk factors for diabetic foot ulcers and the risk of falls in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. A quantitative study using a cross-sectional study was conducted at BLUD RSUD dr. Ben Mboi  in April-June 2020 (n = 51).The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a questionnaire of diabetic foot screening and risk stratification form and Morse scale. Logistic regression results showed that there was a significant relationship between claudication (AOR: 8.409, 95% CI 1.664-42.500, p value 0.010), history of previous diabetic foot ulcers (AOR: 5,680, 95% CI 1,151-28,035, p value 0.033) with diabetic foot ulcers. There was a significant relationship between hypertension (AOR: 0.152, 95% CI 0.028-0.834, p value 0.030), diabetic foot ulcers (AOR: 11.392, 95% CI 1.277-101.651, p value 0.029) with the risk of falling for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.  Assessment of the risk of diabetic foot ulcers and the risk of falls should be done in patients with diabetes mellitus with or without neuropathy peripheral

The number of Covid 19 cases is increasing and cannot be ignored considering the increase every day continues to increase. The impact of the Covid 19 pandemic has an impact on various fields, especially the economy. To avoid the increasing number of sufferers, the government limits activities that cause crowds, maintains distance and maintains hygenicity in the community in carrying out daily activities known as health protocol regulations. The behavior and actions of the community must change completely from the usual actions that are often carried out, for that it is necessary to have socialization on how to prevent the transmission of Covid 19 by implementing the health protocol that has been advised by the government. The purpose of this community service activity is to remind and help public understanding of the implementation of health protocols during the Covid 19 pandemic. The form of activities is in the form of counseling, giving hand sanitizers and masks. Lack of public awareness and knowledge about Covid-19 can be overcome by providing knowledge, through socialization about the importance of implementing this activity protocol in order to help people face New normal conditions, by helping people live by complying with health protocols. The results of the activity obtained the enthusiasm of the residents in following the activity until the end with the many questions asked. The coronavirus 19 (COVID-19) outbreak is an infection caused by the acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) which are a pathogenic virus and highly contagious. The drug dexamethasone is only beneficial for patients infected with COVID-19 and has no effect on patients who are infected with mild symptoms nor can it prevent the entry of the COVID-19 virus. Taking dexamethasone without a doctor's prescription can trigger infection of the COVID-19 virus and have detrimental effects on the body. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide education that can increase understanding of dexamethasone which can not prevent us from getting infected by the COVID-19 and to inform the dangers of using dexamethasone that is not from a doctor's prescription. This is a quantitative research with a Pre-Experimental method using One Group Pretest-Posttest Design and the collecting data instruments used are multiple choice question types. The results of 30 participants complete data were analyzed using statistics with the Wilcoxon test with a P-value of 0,000 (P 0.05). The results showed that there was a significant effect on the use of educational methods in increasing participants' understanding of this drug. Furthermore, the N-Gain test was carried out with a result of 75.389%, so it concluded that the use of the educational method in the activity entitled "dexamethasone drug not an antidote to COVID-19" was considered quite effective in increasing the knowledge of participants who were facilitated by the pre-test and post-test.

Pendahuluan: Diabetes Mellitus menyebabkan 5,1 juta kematian pada tahun 2013. Menurut International Diabetes Federation bahwa pada tahun 2013 terdapat 382 juta penderita DM di dunia dan diperkirakan akan meningkat pada tahun 2035 melebihi 592 juta penderita DM, 55% peningkatan terjadi pada DM Tipe 2. Tujuan: Mengetahui faktor – faktor yang memengaruhi kadar gula darah penderita diabetes mellitus (DM) tipe 2 di RSUD dr.Djasamen Saragih Pematangsiantar. Metode: Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah pasien rawat jalan di poli penyakit dalam, berjumlah 40 orang. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Analisis data menggunakan chi square. Hasil: Penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada pengaruh antara indeks massa tubuh dengan kadar gula darah dengan p value 0,338 > 0,05, ada pengaruh riwayat keturunan/genetik dengan kadar gula darah dengan p value 0,034 < 0,05, ada pengaruh Aktivitas fisik dengan kadar gula darah dengan p value 0,047 < 0,05, ada pengaruh pola makan dengan kadar gula darah dengan p value 0,05 ≤ 0,05. Kesimpulan: Ada pengaruh pola makan, aktivitas fisik dan Riwayat keturunan  terhadap kadar gula darah dan Tidak ada pengaruh indeks massa tubuh (IMT) terhadap kadar gula darah.

ABSTRAK Jumlah penderita DM (diabetes melitus) saat ini semakin meningkat. Salah satu komplikasi yang terjadi yaitu DFU (diabetic foot ulcers). Banyak cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk mencegah DFU, salah satunya dengan diabetic foot exercise. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas diabetic foot exercise terhadap risiko dfu (diabetic foot ulcers) pasien diabetes mellitus. Penelitian menggunakan design pre-eksperimen dengan pendekatan one-group pra-post test design. Populasi penderita diabetes yang berjumlah 60 orang, besar sampel 40 orang yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Resiko DFU dinilai menggunakan inlow’s 60-second diabetic foot screening tool dengan metode observasi. Analisa data menggunakan uji statistik Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa sebelum dilakukan diabetic foot exercise sebagian besar reponden mempunyai risiko sedang sebanyak 30 orang (75%), sesudah dilakukan diabetic foot exercise diperoleh bahwa sebagian besar responden risiko rendah sebanyak 32 orang (80%). Uji statistik Wilcoxon diperoleh nilai p value = 0,001 dimana nilai p value<α (0,05) yang berarti ada pengaruh diabetic foot exercise terhadap risiko diabetic foot ulcers. Diabetes foot exercise sangat efektif untuk penderita diabetes dalam mencegah risiko DFU. Penderita diabetes dapat melakukan diabetic foot exercise 2 kali dalam seminggu secara teratur.  Kata Kunci : Diabetes mellitus, Diabetic foot ulcers, diabetic foot exercise

Introduction: Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease that occurs because the pancreas cannot produce enough insulin or the body cannot effectively use the insulin produced by the pancreas. There are 4 ways to maintain blood glucose levels, namely; pharmacological therapy, nutritional therapy, diabetes self management education, and physical activity. Walking exercise is the most often described as the modalities of physical activity to improve health. Objective: The research objective was to determine the effect of walking physical activity on blood sugar levels in diabetes mellitus patients in the work area of ​​the Cianjur Kota Health Center in 2021. Method: This study used a design quasi-experimental with an approach one-group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was all 620 people with diabetes mellitus who were taken using a simple random sampling technique, which was 17 respondents. Results: Analysis of data using test paired sample t-test. Statistical test results obtained a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05 so that Ha is accepted, which means there is an effect of physical activity on foot on blood sugar levels in diabetes mellitus patients in the work area of ​​the Cianjur Kota Health Center in 2021. Conclusion: This study found that walking exercise as far as 2,5 km for 30 minutes can lower blood sugar levels significantly in patients with diabetes mellitus.
