Mathematics learning in elementary schools frequently encountered obstacles in material delivery. It was due to the abstract concepts of mathematics and the character of students who entered the concrete operational phase. Ethnomathematics learning could become an effort to overcome those obstacles. The purpose of this study was to determined the effectiveness of learning ethnomathematics "engklek-game" on the understanding of geometry concept for third-grade students of SDN 4 Sepanjang Glenmore. This study used a mixed-method approach with the type of experimental research one-group pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques were through written tests and interviews. The quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and used paired sample t-test. The qualitative data was analyzed by reducing the data, presenting the data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that learning ethnomathematics "engklek-game" obtained Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000, so that it had a significant effect on the understanding of the geometry concept of students in grade III SDN 4 Sepanjang Glenmore. Based on the results of the interview, it found that the student response was good. Teachers stated that students were enthusiastic during the learning, which led to an increase in learning outcomes before and after learning ethnomathematics "engklek-game."

AbstrakHasil rata-rata tes siswa pada materi penerapan trigonometri rendah yaitu 52 dan hal ini tidak mencapai KKM di SMA Negeri 22 Palembang yaitu 65. Oleh karena itu diperlukan alternatif model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk meningkatkan aktivitas, pola berpikir kritis dan kreatif serta hasil belajar matematika siswa. Salah satu alternatifnya adalah pembelajaran melalui pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan mendeskripsikan tanggapan siswa dalam penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, angket, dan tes. Setelah dilakukan analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa: 1) Penerapan pembelajaran melalui pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD ( Student Team Achievement Division ) yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini efektif, karena dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika, mata pelajaran penerapan trigonometri pada siswa kelas X IPA6 yang berjumlah 40 orang. Hal ini terlihat pada persentase hasil aktivitas siswa pada pembelajaran tindakan I mencapai 86,36% dan pada tindakan II mencapai 89,09% dengan predikat sangat baik, dan nilai rata-rata hasil tes akhir tindakan I mencapai 67,3% dan pada Tindakan II mencapai 72,25% dengan persentase nilai rata-rata yang ditetapkan sebesar 65% yang berarti telah mencapai kriteria keberhasilan. 2) Berdasarkan hasil angket respon siswa diketahui bahwa respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran penerapan trigonometri melalui pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD sangat positif.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, penerapan trigonometri, kooperatif, STAD. AbstractThe average result of student tests on the material for applying trigonometry is low, namely 52 and this does not reach the KKM at SMA Negeri 22 Palembang, which is 6. One alternative is learning through cooperative learning type STAD . The purpose of this study is to describe the application of cooperative learning type STAD which can improve student learning outcomes.and describe student responses in the application of cooperative learning type STAD to improve learning outcomes. This study used a classroom action research design. Data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires, and tests. After data analysis was carried out , it was concluded that: 1) The application of learning through cooperative learning type STAD ( Student Team Achievement Division ) which was carried out in this study was effective, because it can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics, the subject of the application of trigonometry in class X IPA6, amounting to 40 people. This can be seen in the percentage of student activity results in learning in action I reached 86.36% and in action II reached 89.09% with the predicate very good, and the average value of the final test results in action I reached 67.3% and at Action II reaches 72.25% with the percentage of the average value set is 65%, which means it has reached the success criteria. 2) Based on the results of the student response questionnaire, it was found that the student's response to learning the application of trigonometry through cooperative learning type STAD was very positive.Keywords: learning outcomes, application of trigonometry, cooperative, STAD.

This study aims to develop students' worksheets based on a realistic mathematical approach with Ethnomatematic named on rounding numbers in 4th grade of primary school (SD Negeri 091358 Haranggaol, Haranggaol Horisan Sub-District). The object of this research is the Student Worksheet based on Realistic Mathematics Approach in Ethnomatematic nuance. The instrument used in this study was the mathematics learning achievement test and student response questionnaire. Data were collected and analyzed with quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. This research method is Borg & Gall development research combined with Dick & Carey's learning development model. The test subjects consisted of material and design learning experts, two linguists, using trial I and trial II. The results showed (1) The results of the expert test of subject matter on the assessment of the appropriateness of the content and the feasibility of the presentation were in very good criteria (85.42%); (2) The results of the learning design expert test were in very good criteria (94.23%); (3) Linguists' test results are in very good criteria (94.44%); (4) The results of trial I are in good criteria (60%); (5) The results of trial II are in very good criteria (90%).

This research was motivated by the low results of third-grade students learn math SD Negeri 009 Tembilahan, as seen from the mastery learning students, from 31 students only 11 students (35.48%), which reached the specified KKM is 70. To be improved learning through research by applying a talk think write strategy (TTW). The purpose of this research is to improve mathematics learning outcomes by implementing the strategy talk think write strategy (TTW). This research is a class act who performed at SD Negeri 009 Tembilahan with third grade students study subjects with the number of students 31 students. This study was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings and one daily tests. Research carried out through four stages: stats phase, the implementation phase, the stage of observation and reflection stages. The data used in this study focuses on improving learning outcomes. Data collection techniques used in this research is the engineering test, and analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis. The study states that the results of students' mathematics learning has increased after applied talk think write strategy (TTW). This is evidenced by the thoroughness and the acquisition of mathematics learning outcomes of students has increased. On the preliminary data the number of students reaching the KKM is 13 students (41.94%) with an average of 61.55 learning outcomes. In the first cycle increased with the number of students who completed or reached KKM total of 20 students (64.52%) with average learning results obtained at 68.71. And the second cycle mastery increased by 28 students (90.32%) with the average achieved learning outcomes at 79.68.

This study aims to determine the comparison of mathematics learning outcomes of students in grade VIII SMP which is taught through Discovery based learning learning by using Scientific approach on Opportunity material. The type of this research is Experimental Research. The subject of this study is the students of class VIII SMP in the even semester of the academic year 2014/2015 which amounted to 40 people. The data collected consisted of data on student learning outcomes and student response data on the device and learning. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Descriptive research results data show the results of student learning taught by learning model Discovery based learning using scientific approach is in the high category with an average of 82.42 with a standard deviation of 6.09 from ideal score 100. Average value of the gain of 0.75 with a standard deviation of 0.06 from ideal score 1 is in the high category, and classical learning completeness of 87.5%, while student response is in the category tends to positive with an average of 3.29. Descriptively mastery of learning outcomes and student responses are different. Hypothesis testing of differences in learning outcomes was done with the help of SPSS 20 for significant learning outcomes with α = 0.05 and for significant normalized gain values with α = 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is an influence on student learning outcomes taught through discovery based learning learning model.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas hasil pengembangan buku ajar Konsep Dasar IPA S1 PGSD berorientasi pembelajaran Quantum dengan mendeskripsikan validitas komponen materi, penyajian, kebahasaan, serta kepraktisan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, kendala-kendala pembelajaran, dan keefektifan hasil belajar, respon mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model 4-D (Four-D Model). Prosedur pengembangan dilakukan sampai tahap pendefinisian, perancangan, dan pengembangan. Subyek ujicoba ini adalah mahasiswa S1 PGSD STKIP Modern Ngawi dengan desain ujicoba one group pretest-posttest design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik validasi, observasi, angket dan tes. penganalisan data menggunakan teknis analisis deskriptif kuantitatif secara berurutan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa data kualitas buku ajar Konsep Dasar IPA S1 PGSD berorientasi pembelajaran Quantum yang dikembangkan dinilai dari (1) validitas kelayakan komponen materi, penyajian, kebahasaan, silabus, SAP, dan tes hasil belajar dari hasil validasi yang dilakukan dosen ahli dengan kategori sangat layak. (2) kepraktisan buku ajar dari keterlaksanaan SAP yang dilaksanakan dosen sangat baik dan hambatan-hambatan yang terjadi dalam proses pembelajaran mampu diatasi oleh dosen dengan solusi alternative yang mendukung peningkatan kegiatan pembelajaran. (3) keefektifan  buku ajar di dasari oleh respon mahasiswa yang ditanggapi dengan positif dan rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif meningkat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengembangan buku ajar mata kuliah Konsep Dasar IPA S1 PGSD berorientasi Pembelajaran Quantum layak, praktis dan efektif untuk digunakan mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi.Kata Kunci : Buku Ajar, Berorientasi, Pembelajaran QuantumAbstract This study aims to determine the quality of the development of textbook course for the Basic Concepts of Scince S1 PGSD oriented in Quantum learning to describe the validity of materials component, presentation, language, and the practicality of enforceability of learning, learning obstacles, and the effectiveness of learning outcomes, and student response. The type of this research is developmental research. The development model used in this research is the model of 4-D (Four-D Model). The development procedure is done until the stage of defining, design, and development. The subject of this research is a student of S1 PGSD STKIP Modern Ngawi with the tryout design of one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection done through validity techniques, observations, questionnaires and tests. Technique of data analysis using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study showed that the data quality of textbook course for the Basic Concepts of Scince S1 PGSD oriented in Quantum learning which is developed is judged from (1) the validity of feasibility of the component materials, presentation, language, syllabus, SAP, and achievement test results of the validity result which done by expert lecturers categorized as very feasible. (2) Textbook practicality of the carriage of SAP that implemented by lecturers and obstacles that occur in the learning process can be answered by the lecturer with alternative solutions which support in the improving learning activities. (3) the effectiveness of the textbook constituted by the response of students which responded positively and the average of cognitive achievement can increase. Based on the results of the study showed that the development of the textbook course for the Basic Concepts of Scince S1 PGSD oriented in Quantum learning is feasible, practical and effective used in college students.Keyword: Textbook, Oriented, Quantum learning

Students are vulnerable to experiencing many problems that negatively impact their quality of life. Due to this issue, it is needed the mental strength and high resilience to make their dreams come true. However, students who have strong religiosity, their perception and conception of life are strongly influenced by their religious belief systems. Training to change attitude and to develop motivation is therefore very important. This study attempted to look at the effectiveness of Islamic-based adversity intelligence training to improve new students’ resilience of State Islamic University (UIN) Antasari Banjarmasin. This study used the experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data were analyzed with quantitative descriptive analysis (QDA). The effectiveness of training was measured by comparing the results of the resilience level scores before and after training (pretest-posttest) using the Wilcoxon test analysis through SPSS version 16.0. The results showed that Islamic-based adversity intelligence training is very effective to improve new students’ resilience.

The use of modules in learning aims so that students can learn independently without or with the guidance of the lecturer. There is no teaching material as a learning guide that meets the needs of students in IT-based mathematics learning courses in the form of LKM, Modules or textbooks.This study aims at finding and examining further the response of students to ICT-based mathematics learning modules. The form of this research is descriptive research. The research subjects of the even semester students are 2018/2019 in ICT-based mathematics learning courses. The instrument used was a student response questionnaire. Data collection techniques using a Likert scale through Google Form. The data was processed using Microsoft Excel 2010. The results showed that student’s responses to the ICT-based mathematics learning module as a whole were positive with an average on the material Aspects, the Interest Aspects of the module and the Module Aspects respectively of 92, 42%, 87 % and 93, 16%.. Thus it can be concluded that ICT-based mathematics learning using modules can be applied.

This research is motivated by the low mathematical understanding ability of students who are still low. This research was conducted on fifth grade students of State Primary School 003 Pulau Kopung, Sintajo District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This study aims to improve the results of understanding of students' mathematics learning outcomes through the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) approach. From the data analysis of student learning outcomes before and after the Realistic Mathematic Education approach was applied, students who completed only 10 people or 43.47% with incomplete categories. After the first cycle, students who completed increased to 16 or 69.56% with incomplete categories. For the second cycle, the number of students who completed as many as 20 people or equal to 89.95% with complete categories. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the application of the Realistic Mathematic Education approach can improve the understanding of the concept of dividing students into mathematics subjects in class V of Public Primary School 003 Pulau Kopung, Sintajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency.

The purpose of the research was to find out correlate between learn time management, motivation to learn, and learning facilities with mathematics learning achievement on 8th  grade students at the whole district of Danurejan Yogyakarta. The genre of this research is descriptive researchment. The population in this research were all students of 8th grade students at the whole district of Danurejan Yogyakarta with amount 593 students and the samples taken at proportional random sampling with amount 113 students. Data collection method used was a questionannaire and a test technique. Analysis using descriptive analysis of data, multiple regression, and partial correlation. In the major hypothesis test is obtained R = 0,747 and R2 = 0,558 with sig=0,000 < 0,05. Then in the first minor hypothesis test is obtained ry1-23 = 0,443 with         sig=0,000 < 0,05; the second minor hypothesis test is obtained ry2-13 = 0,370 with sig=0,000 < 0,05; and the minor third hypothesis test is obtained ry3-12 = 0,344 with sig=0,000 < 0,05. So there is a positive and significant correlation between learning time management, motivation to learn, and learning facilities with mathematics learning achievement on 8th grade students at the whole district of Danurejan Yogyakarta as collective and partial. It is expected that students care about learning time management, motivation to learn, and learning facilities to  mathematics learning achievement increasingly.
