PD Sumber Jaya is a company engaged in the leather goods and accessories retailer that sells Braun Buffel brand which has several stores in Jakarta, Surabaya, and also a number of outlets throughout Indonesia. In each outlet is guarded by several Sales Promotion Girls (SPG). The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of leadership style on the performance of SPG PD. Sumber Jaya. The method of analysis used in this study is Test Validity, Test Reliability, Mean, Pearson Correlation, and Regression . Data obtained from SPG assessment of managers by filling out the questionnaire that has been provided by using a Likert scale. The results achieved in this research is the leadership style which is run by managers PD. Sumber Jaya is a type of democratic and individual leadership styles have a strong influence of (0.195) or 19.50% and the direction (+) on the performance of SPG PD. Sumber Jaya.Leadership style has a fairly strong relationship (ryx1 = 0.442) on the performance of SPG.

In the continuity of a company, there is a pattern of behavior that is carried out continuously by its members. Then formed a culture that is characteristic of the company. Each leader also has his own leadership style in operating the company. With a good organizational culture and leadership style, it can form a comfortable work environment and can support the success of the company. The formulation of the problem that will be examined is how is the organizational culture and leadership style in the Leader Forum Community? The method used in this research is a qualitative ethnographic approach, studied with organizational communication theory, organizational culture, and leadership style. The purpose of this research is to describe and find out the organizational culture and leadership style in the Community of Leaders Forum. The object to be studied is the organizational culture and leadership styles used in the Leader Community Forum. Based on the results of research related to organizational culture and leadership styles in the Community of Wadah Leaders, it can be concluded that the value of Family Impact Teamwork continues to be emphasized to members as a reference for acting in the community. And leaders apply a combination of charismatic, transactional, transformational, and visionary leadership styles in Komunitas Wadah Pemimpin.Dalam keberlangsungan suatu perusahaan terdapat pola perilaku yang dilakukan secara terus menerus oleh anggotanya. Kemudian terbentuk sebuah budaya yang menjadi ciri khas dalam perusahaan tersebut. Setiap pemimpin juga memiliki gaya kepemimpinan tersendiri dalam mengoperasikan perusahaan. Dengan adanya budaya organisasi dan gaya kepemimpinan yang baik dapat membentuk lingkungan kerja yang nyaman serta dapat medukung keberhasilan perusahaan. Rumusan masalah yang ditelaah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana budaya organisasi dan gaya kepemimpinan dalam Komunitas Wadah Pemimpin? Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode etnografi dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dikaji dengan teori komunikasi organisasi, budaya organisasi, serta gaya kepemimpinan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menggambarkan dan mengetahui budaya organisasi dan gaya kepemimpinan dalam Komunitas Wadah Pemimpin. Objek yang diteliti adalah budaya organisasi serta gaya kepemimpinan yang digunakan dalam Komunitas Wadah Pemimpin. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa nilai Family Impact Teamwork terus ditekankan kepada anggota sebagai acuan untuk bertindak dalam komunitas. Pemimpin menerapkan kombinasi dari gaya kepemimpinan kharismatik, transaksional, transformasional, dan visioner dalam Komunitas Wadah Pemimpin.

This research is motivated by the phenomenon related to PAI lecturer performance that is not optimal yet. The government has issued policies to improve the quality of lecturers as an effort to improve the quality of education through the improvement of welfare. However, conditions in the field show that some lecturers who have received the professional allowance have not shown any significant performance improvement. Some lecturers who have very good competence sometimes not followed by high performance, this is reflected from the results of the lecturer's performance.The purpose of this research are: (1) to know the level of competence and performance of lecturers of PAI in Padang city (2) to analyze efforts to improve the performance of PAI lecturers in Padang city (3) to find the level of competence influence on PAI lecturer performance in Padang city.This research is a quantitative type with survey method and correlational approach. The population is PAI lecturers at state universities in the city of Padang totaling 30 people. The sampling technique is total sampling. Data collection techniques used were the dissemination of questionnaires, documentation and literature study. While the data analysis technique used is the normality test Kolmogorof Smirnov method. Test validity using Product Moment Pearson correlation formula. Test reliability using Alpha Cronbach and processing analysis using SPSS version 15.The research findings are: (1) the actual condition of PAI lecturer competence in public universities in Padang city is generally quite good (TCR = 3,93 / 5,00 or = 76,98%) whereas actual condition of teaching performance of lecturer PAI lecturers at state universities in Padang city were in good condition (TCR = 3.81 / 5.00 or = 69.64 %). (2) The efforts to improve the performance of PAI lecturers according to the authors include: Planning the development of lecturer's performance, organizing lecturer performance assessment, conducting lecturer performance assessment with sustainability, supervising the performance of lecturers as well as following up the results of lecturer performance assessment. (3) there is a significant positive correlation between lecturer competence and lecturer performance of 22,3 %, meaning competence contribute to lecturer performance.Suggested to the lecturers of PAI to improve the competence to produce performance as expected. The various parties who have responsibility to improve the performance of lecturers are expected to give attention to the increased competence of PAI lecturers in order to give a significant influence in order to improve the quality of national education.

Background and objectives. The relationship between leadership styles and job performance draws considerable attention from recent researchers. The main objective of this study was to determine the impact of leadership style (autocratic, democratic, and laissez-faire) on job performance from nurse’s points of view at Benghazi Medical Centre. Method. This study was a descriptive questionnaire-based study conducted on 100 nurses working at Benghazi Medical Centre, Libya. To analyze the data (mean, standard deviation, ANOVA test were used. Furthermore, multiple regressions and Pearson correlation were used to determine whether a relationship exists between the independent and dependent variables. Result. Of 100, only 60 questionnaires were completed, giving a response rate of 60%. The findings of this study indicated that democratic was the most dominantly used in the hospital, followed by the autocratic and laissez-faire leadership styles. Whereas, the laissez-faire leadership style had a strong positive and significant impact on performance (R2= .333; P < 0.01). Conclusion. Laissez-faire leadership style positively affected nurses’ performance. Future research that might be relevant to be further explored are worth.

El objetivo de la presente investigación fue analizar la probable relación entre el estilo de liderazgo de los entrenadores de fútbol juvenil y el clima motivacional generado en los equipos que estos entrenan.Para estos efectos se diseñó una investigación de corte cuantitativo, descriptivo y no experimental. La muestra estuvo constituida por 100 jóvenes (N=100) distribuidos en cinco categorías a los cuales se les aplicó un cuestionario de clima motivacional y 5 entrenadores (n=5) a los cuales les fue aplicado el cuestionario de estilos de liderazgo de Kurt Lewin. Los resultados arrojados por el análisis estadístico, mediante el método de tablas de contingencia y el estadístico chi-cuadrado, permiten señalar que la existencia de una relación fuerte (V de Cramer =0.85) entre el estilo de liderazgo del entrenador y el clima motivacional de los jóvenes pupilos. The aim of this study was to analyze the probable relationship between leadership style of youth soccer coaches and motivational climate generated on computers these entrenan.Para these effects quantitative research, experimental, descriptive and not designed. The sample consisted of 100 young people (N = 100) divided into five categories which were administered a questionnaire motivational climate and five coaches (n = 5) to which they were applied questionnaire leadership styles of Kurt Lewin. Results from statistical analysis by the method of contingency tables and chi-square statistic, would note that the existence of a strong relationship (Cramer’s V = 0.85) between the leadership style of the coach and motivational climate young pupils.

Since leaders can have a strong influence on the employees’ behavior, various approaches have been designed to determine the most effective style of leadership. As a field of study, the review of past research reveals that investigating leadership styles has been mainly focused on large businesses. Despite the great importance of leadership to SMEs, not many studies attempted to explore the leadership style embraced by SMEs, especially within the Macedonian context. The purpose of this study is to explore the presence of different leadership styles (autocratic, democratic and laissez-faire) in Macedonian SME. Moreover, in view of the main research objective, several demographic variables were examined, such as gender, age and working experience as to their relevance for the dominant leadership style, with a special focus on managers of small and medium sized businesses from the textile industry. Using a Leadership Style Questionnaire, the research measured different leadership styles in addition to collecting in-depth demographic data on each of the respondents. The research results have indicated that the democratic leadership is the dominant style of Macedonian textile SMEs.

This study aims to determine the relationship between compensation and authoritarian leadership style with employee performance at PT. Circle K Indonesia Utama Surabaya. The number of respondents in this study was 68 employees. The research method used is descriptive, validity test, reliability test, and spearman rank correlation calculation. The results showed that the compensation variables and authoritarian leadership style had a strong and significant relationship with employee performance. Strategies that can be applied by PT. Circle K Indonesia Utama Surabaya to improve employee performance, namely paying more attention to activities and providing employee compensation appropriately and accordingly. Also, improve the leadership style used by leaders.

This study aimed to find out: (1) the influence of leadership style toward the work performance of employees in PT. TWC Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero), (2) the influence of motivation toward the work performance of employees in PT. TWC Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero), (3) the  influence of work  discipline toward the work performance of employees in PT. TWC Borobudur, Pramban an & Ratu Boko  (Persero), (4) the influence of leadership styles, motivation and work discipline simultaneously toward the work performance of employees in PT. TWC Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero). The  sample of  this  study was  the  employees  of  PT.  Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero), there were 130 employees  in total, by using the technique of simple insidental sampling. The multiple linear regression model was  used  for  collecting  the  data  in  this  study.  The  test  validity  used in the study was confirmatory factor analysis. From the test result, there were 20 questions fallen, those were the items in questioning: the variable of leadership style with 4 questions in total; 7 questions on the variable of motivation; 6 questions on the variable of work discipline; and  also 3 questions  on  work  performance,  from  22  questions  in  total  and all of the reliable questions. The result from this study showed that the variable on leadership style (X1) had an positive effect toward the work performance of PT. TWC Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero)’s employees. The variable of motivation (X2) influenced positively toward the work performance of the employees at PT. TWC Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero). The variable of work discipline (x3) had positive effect on the work performance  of  the  employees  at  PT.  TWC  Borobudur,  Prambanan  &  Ratu  Boko (Persero). The variable of leadership style, motivation and work discipline altogether or simultaneously had a significant effect toward the work performance of employee at PT. TWC Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero).

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengenal pasti kekerapan pelaksanaan gaya kepemimpinan Guru Penolong Kanan Kokurikulum (GPK Koko) pelbagai dimensi; (2) mengkaji hubungan antara faktor–faktor demografi GPK Koko dengan pencapaian pasukan olahraga sekolah; (3) mengkaji hubungan antara kekerapan pelaksanaan setiap dimensi gaya kepemimpinan dengan pencapaian pasukan olahraga sekolah; (4) mengkaji peramal yang signifikan terhadap pencapaian pasukan olahraga sekolah. Seramai 48 orang guru GPK Koko dari 48 buah sekolah rendah yang terletak dalam zon Air Itam dan zon Kelawai telah dijadikan subjek kajian. Instrumen kajian Leadership Scale For Sports (LSS) digunakan untuk mengukur kekerapan gaya kepemimpinan yang terdiri daripada lima dimensi, iaitu latihan dan arahan, demokratik, autokratik, sokongan sosial, dan mengganjar. Manakala pencapaian pasukan olahraga sekolah merupakan pencapaian pasukan olahraga sekolah di Kejohanan Olahraga Majlis Sukan Sekolah–sekolah Pulau Pinang (MSSPP) Daerah Pulau dari tahun 2004 hingga 2006. Sementara itu, faktor–faktor demografi GPK Koko yang diambil kira ialah jantina, status perkahwinan, pengalaman berkhidmat sebagai GPK Koko, kelayakan sukan, dan pengalaman dalam bidang sukan. Kesimpulan bagi kajian ini ialah (1) kekerapan pelaksanaan kesemua dimensi gaya kepemimpinan mencecah min melebihi 3.00 kecuali dimensi autokratik yang minnya hanya 1.57. Antaranya dimensi mengganjarlah merupakan dimensi gaya kepemimpinan yang paling kerap diamalkan oleh GPK Koko. (2) Analisis korelasi menunjukkan wujudnya hubungan yang signifikan, positif, dan kuat antara faktor demografi kelayakan sukan (r = 0.819) dengan pengalaman dalam bidang sukan (r = 0.704) dengan pencapaian pasukan olahraga sekolah pada aras 0.05. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan, positif, dan kuat antara kekerapan amalan gaya kepemimpinan mengganjar dengan pencapaian olahraga sekolah. Gaya kepemimpinan mengganjar dan tiga faktor demografi, iaitu pengalaman dalam bidang sukan, kelayakan sukan serta pengalaman berkhidmat sebagai seorang pentadbir merupakan peramal yang kuat terhadap pencapaian sukan olahraga sekolah. Turut dibincangkan dalam artikel ini adalah implikasi kajian terhadap pembangunan profesionalisme dalam kalangan pentadbir sukan dalam pengasuhan atlet–atlet yang berpotensi. Kata kunci: Gaya kepimpinan; pencapaian olahraga; guru penolong kanan kokurikulum The aim of this research was to (1) identify the frequency of implementation of various dimensions of leadership style among Co–curricular Senior Assistants; (2) analyze relationships between demographic factors and the achievements of the school athletics team; (3) study the relationships between the frequency of implementation for each dimension of leadership style and the achievements of the school athletics team; (4) determine significant predictors which contribute to the achievements of the school athletics team. A total of 48 Co–curricular Senior Assistants from 48 primary schools located in Air Itam and Kelawai zones were selected as research subjects. Research instrument Leadership Scale For Sports (LSS) used to measure the frequency of implementation for leadership styles consists of five dimensions such as training and order, democratic, autocratic, social support and reward. While the achievements of the school athletics team were determined by the achievements during Penang Schools Sports Council Athletics Meet over a period of three years from 2004 to 2006. In addition, demographic factors of Co-curricular Senior Assistants included gender, marital status, experience in the field of sports, sports qualifications and experience serving as Sport Administrators. The conclusion of the research was (1) the mean frequency of implementation for all dimensions of leadership style was more than 3.00 except for autocratic dimension mean at only 1.57. The reward dimension was the dimension that was frequently practiced by Co-curricular Senior Assistants; (2) The correlation analysis showed that significant, positive and strong relationship exist between demographic factors, sports qualifications (r = 0.819) and experience in the field of sports (r = 0.704) and the achievements of the school athletics team at the level 0.05. Findings from this study showed significant, positive and strong relationships between the frequency of implementation of reward leadership style and sports achievement. The reward kind of leadership style and three other demographic factors which are experience in the field of sports, sports qualifications and experience serving as Sports Administrators proved to be strong predictors for the achievement of the school athletics team. Further discussion in this article is the implications towards professional development of sports administrators, in nurturing potential athletes. Corporate culture and leadership are central to the performance of the firm in many ways. Culture outlines essential practices and patterns that guide the leaders' control. The connection between cultural influences on corporate leadership has been examined from various perspectives. A productive culture can determine the success of a company, and its interaction with leadership is an exciting area of examination in research.Objectives of the Study: This study’s primary aim was to establish how the corporate culture influences leadership in various ways in the corporate environment using the case study of Baidu Corporation in China. Also, the study intended to examine different leadership styles and influence on organisational performance.Methods: The study was carried out in Baidu, Inc., China, a target of 100 participants using mixed-structured email questionnaire. The study also utilised various research techniques, including the mixed-method method in the study process.Results and Findings: The study found that there is a secure link between corporate culture and the kind of leadership adopted in an organisation. Also, the study established various aspects of employee opinion, with evidence that employees favour certain leadership styles such as transformational leadership style over others.

Perception is an individual response about something that can be influenced by knowledge. Good individual knowledge of alcohol will affect their perception of alcohol-containing product.  The MUI fatwa permits the use of alcohol in cosmetics. The purpose of this study was to observe the perception of alcohol content in cosmetics. The observation was carried out using a questionnaire technique with a nonprobability sampling technique with accidental sampling. The questionnaire was conducted by Pearson correlation test, validity test, reliability test, normality test, chi-square test, and description. In this study, using 98 respondents and get an average value of knowledge about cosmetics 6,73 with SD value of 0,49; knowledge of alcohol 4,54 with SD 1,17 and behavior with SD 1,46. There is a relationship between age with the level of cosmetic knowledge with p-value <0.05. As many as 46.94% stated, the halal label's urgency on cosmetics is very important and 39.80% is important, where the religion of the individual influences the urgency level of cosmetics halal. The urgency of halal labels on cosmetics is high in line with the behavior when buying cosmetics. The 81.63% of respondents stated that halal labels on cosmetic products affect the interest in buying cosmetics. As many as 61.24% of respondents have the perception that halal cosmetics do not contain alcohol. The Pearson halal label correlation test confirms this obtained a p-value value of 0.024 that the halal label influences respondents' perceptions. Individuals were having a perception that cosmetics with halal labels do not contain alcohol, which is influenced by halal labels' knowledge.
