<p>Ustaz Abdul Somad kembali menjadi sorotan khalayak karena dakwahnya yang kontroversial. Pada akhir Agustus 2019, video ceramah Ustaz Abdul Somad yang diunggah pada tahun 2016 yang berjudul “Hukum Melihat Salib” sempat viral di media sosial karena dianggap mengandung unsur Suku, Agama, Ras, dan Antargolongan (SARA). Video pendek yang berisi jawaban Ustaz Abdul Somad atas pertanyaan jamaah, mengandung konten yang menyinggung tentang salib sehingga menimbulkan respon negatif dari umat nonmuslim. Selain itu, ada video ceramah lain yang berjudul “Hukum Menonton Film Korea” yang juga menimbulkan respon negative bagi para penggemar KPop atau KPopers. Tulisan ini fokus pada bagaimana etika komunikasi dakwah Ustaz Abdul Somad yang dibangun berdasarkan perspektif Al Quran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif. Subjek penelitiannya adalah dua video ceramah Ustaz Abdul Somad yang berjudul “Hukum menonton Film Korea” dan “Hukum Melihat Salib”. Sementara objek penelitian ini ialah retorika Ustaz Abdul Somad dalam video-video tersebut. Hasilnya, ceramah dalam kedua video tersebut mengandung prinsip etika komunikasi dalam Al Quran, dengan catatan ceramah tersebut dilakukan pada kelompok terbatas. Etika Al Quran yang dimaksud adalah prinsip bicara tegas dan jujur. Namun, jika dalam konteks media sosial yang bersifat general atau umum, maka pesan dakwahnya tidak sesuai dengan salah satu kode etik dakwah serta dinilai tidak efektif.</p><p> </p><p><em>Ustaz Abdul Somad returned to the media spotlight because of his preaching that triggered a negative response by other groups. At the end of August 2019, Ustaz Abdul Somad's video lecture uploaded in 2016 entitled "Hukum Melihat Salib" was viral on social media because it was considered to contain SARA elements. In the video footage, there is content that is offensive about the cross, giving rise to negative responses from non-Muslim communities. In addition, the lecture video entitled "Hukum Menonton Film Korea" also caused a negative response for KPopers. Therefore, this paper focuses on how the ethics of Ustaz Abdul Somad's missionary communication are built on the perspective of the Qur'an. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. His research subjects used Ustaz Abdul Somad's video lecture entitled "Hukum Menonton Film Korea" and "Hukum Melihat Salib". While the object of this research is the rhetoric of Ustad Abdul Somad in the videos. As a result, both videos contain ethical principles of communication in the Koran, if the lecture is aimed at a particular group. Unlike the case in social media that is universal (anyone, anytime and anywhere can be accessed), then the message of preaching is not </em><em>following</em><em> </em><em>one of the preaching code of ethics and has not been effective. </em></p>

At present, social media is more widely used by migrant workers and TKI children just for the daily communication. The function of the social media is done in trivialities because both parties operationally can maximazie the media more specifically especially to improve the process of education and learning between parents to their children. This study draws problem of how social media can be used by TKI in educating children, through the LDR (Long Distance Relationship) method. This study used qualitative descriptive approach to analyze the data. The research subjects who acted as respondents were migrant workers and former migrant workers from Lampung Province. The results show that learning models using the LDR Method could be applied by Indonesian migrant workers to children who live in their hometowns.  Themes of communication using LDR should be focused on education aspects emphasizing on motivation, achievement, frame of future life, and daily activities for schools.

Wayang Golek is one of the nation's cultural heritage that grows and develops in West Java, and its existence still exists today but is starting to decline. Photography is one part of the technology that can bridge the Punakawan  Sundanese Wayang Golek  Culture in maintaining its existence. The purpose of the research is to maintain the existence of the Punakawan  Sundanese Wayang Golek  Culture through the media of Photography. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach obtained through interviews, observations and is equipped with photographic works. The results of this study indicate that Photography can be one of the media in maintaining the existence of Wayang Golek, especially the Sundanese Punakawan  group, through social media such as Instagram. Photography by researchers and other artists' works shared via Instagram can be spread worldwide and stored forever, with periodic and continuous stages, the existence of Wayang Golek, especially Punakawan  Sundanese, will be maintained.Keywords: Art Fotografi; Punakawan;Culture Wayang Golek.

This study aims to see how the strategy of the indozone.id visual team in designing infographics on Instagram social media. The research statement proposed is how the strategy of the indozone.id visual team in designing infographics on Instagram social media? In this study using a qualitative descriptive method based on the constructivist paradigm. The research subjects were the Visual Team, Editors, and Followers of the indozone Instagram account. With the data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation conducted through key-information and informants, this study uses the Media Ecology theory from MC. Luhan. In its implementation, online media owners produce various elements in the news they make. Online news agencies are always prone to convey unverified information to the wider community which results in misperception and misinterpretation of news that has facts. Therefore the focus of this research is the strategy of the indozone.id visual team in designing infographics on social media Instagram. The results of this study can be seen that the strategies implemented by indozone.id include making infographics easy to understand, interesting titles, looking for news to be used as infographics, obstacles when making infographics. Dalam mengerjakan permasalahan matematika, pasti ada yang mengalami suatu hambatan dalam proses pemecahannya yang menyebabkan terjadinya suatu kesalahan dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita berdasarkan tahapan Newman pada materi bangun datar segiempat dan penyebab mereka melakukan kesalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif dengan metode tes tulis dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian adalah 3 dari 32 siswa kelas VII-D SMP Negeri 2 Nganjuk yang dipilih berdasarkan banyaknya kesalahan yang dilakukan saat tes tulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam mengerjakan soal cerita tentang bangun datar segiempat, yaitu (1) kesalahan dalam membaca soal, (2) kesalahan dalam memahami soal, (3) kesalahan dalam mentransformasi soal, (4) kesalahan dalam keterampilan proses, dan (5) kesalahan dalam menuliskan jawaban akhir. Penyebab siswa melakukan kesalahan tersebut adalah siswa kurang teliti dalam membaca dan mengerjakan soal, belum paham materi dan belum terbiasa mengerjakan soal cerita dengan tahapan Newman. Kata kunci: analisis, kesalahan, soal cerita, tahapan newman, bangun datar segiempat.  In working on mathematical problems , there must be someone(s) who got some obstacles in the process of solving it which causes an error in the learning process. This research aims to describe students errors according to Newman’s Error Analysis in solving rectangular word problem and why they are doing that. This research used a qualitative-descriptive approach with the written test and interview method. The research subjects were 3 of 32 students from class 8­th-D Public Middle School 2 Nganjuk which is chosen based on the number of errors made during the written test. The results of this research shows that the students made some errors in solving mathematics involving rectangular word problems such as reading error, comperhension error, transformation error, process skill error and encoding error. The reason students make these mistakes are (1) students are not careful in reading and working on problems, (2) students doesn't understand the material, (3) and students are not usual to working on word problems using the Newman’s  method. Abstrak Penelitian ini didasari atas banyaknya kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa dalam mengerjakan soal cerita matematika menyebabkan terjadinya kesalahan. Kesalahan siswa harus segera dipecahkan agar tidak terulang dan mempengaruhi hasil belajar. Pemecahan ini dapat dilakukan dengan cara mengetahui dimana letak kesalahan yang terjadi, jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan dan faktor penyebabnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-kualitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis letak dan jenis kesalahan serta faktor yang menyebabkan kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa menggunakan tahapan pemecahan pemecahan masalah Polya. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan metode tes tulis dan wawancara. Tes tulis yang diberikan berupa soal cerita matematika pada materi sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel. Subjek penelitian yaitu 3 siswa dipilih dari 36 siswa XI IPA4 SMA Negeri 1 Cerme. Subjek penelitian dipilih berdasarkan banyaknya kesalahan yang dilakukan pada saat tes tulis, kemudian diwawancarai. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa dalam mengerjakan soal cerita dengan materi sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel, terjadi kesalahan pada masing-masing indikator dalam tahapan pemecahan masalah Polya, di antaranya (1) kesalahan dalam pemahaman soal, (2) kesalahan dalam perencanaan penyelesaian, (3) kesalahan dalam pelaksanaan rencana penyelesaian, dan (4) kesalahan dalam pemeriksaan kembali. Siswa melakukan kesalahan dalam bentuk kesalahan konsep, kesalahan prinsip, dan kesalahan operasi. Faktor penyebab kesalahan siswa yaitu tidak memahami makna soal, lemahnya pemahaman konsep, tidak fokus dalam pengerjaan, lingkungan dan cara belajar siswa. Dari letak, jenis dan faktor penyebab kesalahan yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini dapat digunakan oleh pendidik sebagai pertimbangan dalam merencanakan pembelajaran agar kesalahan serupa tidak terulang. Abstract This research is motivated by the number of difficulties students faced while solving mathematics story problem which causes errors. Student’s error needs to be solved immediately to not affecting the learning result. To solve them, we needs to identified location of the errors occur, types of mistakes are made, and what are the causes. This research use a qualitative-descriptive approach. This research aims to analyze the location, type of errors, and the causes using Polya’s problem-solving steps. To collect data, this research using written test and interview methods. The written test is in the form of mathematics story problem involving the linear equation of three variables. The research subjects were 3 of 36 students from class 11th Science 4 State Highschool of Cerme. Research subject is chosen based on the number of errors made during the written test then interviewed. The result of this research shows that in order to solve problems, errors occurs on each Polya’s problem-solving steps indicators, such as (1) errors in understanding the problem, (2) errors in devising a plan, (3) errors in carrying out the plan, and (4) errors in looking back. The type of errors made by students were concept error, principle error, and operation error. The factors are not understand the problem, low concept, not focus, cognitive factors, and their learning environment. The result of this research can be used for teachers to make their teaching plan to avoid the same error occurs. Keywords: analysis, errors, story problems, Polya’s problem-solving, spltv.

Abstract. This article discusses the existence of print media during the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, many printed media have lost their readership significantly. The Covid-19 pandemic has become a disruption that has a negative impact on the print media industry. People choose to switch to digital media because it is easy and the information they need is faster. Changing the media used in conveying information will certainly have an impact on the future of the media itself. When the turnover of print media decreases, the print media company will go bankrupt / close and lay off employees and cut employee salaries. The method used in this article uses a qualitative descriptive approach by using a research procedure according to the latest available facts to solve a problem regarding the existence of print media during the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the data obtained, it is explained that from 434 print media throughout January to April 2020, 71 percent of print media companies experienced a decrease in turnover of 40 percent when compared to the same period in 2019. Based on the data above, it can be seen that a decrease in media existence print during the COVID-19 pandemic. This decline certainly had an impact on the business turnover of advertisers, which resulted in a decrease in advertising budgets on various media platforms.Keywords: Covid-19, Existence, Print Media, PandemicAbstrak. Artikel ini membahas tentang eksistensi media cetak pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Saat ini, amat banyak media cetak yang kehilangan para pembacanya secara signifikan. Pandemi Covid-19 ini sudah menjadi disrupsi yang berdampak negatif bagi para industri media cetak. Masyarakat memilih beralih ke media digital karena mudah dan informasi yang dubutuhkan lebih cepat. Berubahnya media yang digunakan dalam penyampaian infromasi tentu akan memberikan dampak pada masa depan dari media itu sendiri. Ketika omzet media cetak turun maka perusahaan media cetak akan mengalami bangkrut/tutup serta terjadi pemecatan pegawai dan  pemotongan gaji karyawan. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan sesuatu tata cara riset sesuai fakta-fakta yang terdapat terbaru untuk memecahkan sesuatu permasalahan mengenai eksistensi media cetak pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Beradasarkan data yang diperoleh menjelaskan bahwa dari 434 media cetak disepanjang bulan Januari hingga bulan April 2020, terdapat 71 persen perusahaan media cetak mengalami suatu penurunan omzet dari 40 persen bila dibandingkan dengan periode yang sama pada tahun 2019. Bedasarkan data diatas maka dapat dilihat penurunan eksistensi media cetak selama pandemi covid 19. Penurunan ini tentunya berdampak pada omzet usaha dari para pengiklan mengalami penurunan yang mengakibatkan anggaran iklan pada berbagai platform mediapun menjadi semakin berkurang.Kata Kunci: Covid-19, Eksistensi,Media Cetak, Pandemi

Abstract - It is undeniable that Instagram social media has entered in all aspects of communication. At first Instagram just sharing moments of photos and videos and then used for trading and spreading information. Instagram let anyone has the opportunity to attract other user attention by doing social construction from its  of the contents through his Instagram account. This research attempts to describe the social construction that occurs and its potential in the dissemination of rumors on social media Instagram. With a qualitative descriptive approach revealed that Instagram users in this case the students are aware of and do message construction in order to get the attention of other users. They also understand that Instagram social media has the potential to spread rumors to the public. Keywords: social media,instagram, social construction, rumors   AbstrakTidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa media sosial Instagram telah masuk di semua aspek berkomunikasi. Penelitian ini berupaya untuk mendeskripsikan  konstruksi sosial yang terjadi serta potensinya dalam penyebaran rumors di media sosial Instagram. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif tersingkap bahwa pengguna Instagram menyadari dan melakukan  konstruksi pesan agar bisa memperoleh perhatian dari pengguna lainnya. This article examines the marketing communication strategies used by Lemospirés Batik to attract consumer interest. This research uses a qualitative-descriptive approach. The research data were analyzed with the perspective of the marketing communication mix theory. The results of this study describe that the strategy taken by Lemospirés Batik to market and introduce its products is (1) the use of advertisements on social and non-social media, (2) organizing exhibitions to do direct marketing, (3) giving discounts and giveaways. to create sales promotions, (4) creating distinctive features on products that are part of personal selling, (5) using public relations to build relationships, and (6) using social media Instagram and Facebook to market products with the concept of storytelling.

This research was conducted to find out how the role of technology and social media in spreading Al-Quran and hadith by the mubalig. This research uses qualitative descriptive approach, while the method of collecting data with observation on the activities of the mubalig and dai who perform religious da’wa activities, both in mosques, langgar, and majlis taklim assemblies held at homes of pilgrims or mubalig house. This research found that, mubalig already flat using technology and social media for the purposes of their da’wah. The preachers use technology and social media for various purposes of da’wa, communicating with the congregation of recitation, to read references of religious material, as well as as a means to store the propagation material which subsequently submitted during the recitation. The last is to make existing apps their devices to recall verses or hadiths that happen to be forgotten when delivering lecture material. The mubalig rate, technology and social media are something positive to use as a medium of communication preaching. So that mubalig are not allergic to technology and social media, even some of them become active users in social media. Similarly, in his own devices there are many applications of the Qur'an and Hadith. Carrying a device is an effective way of learning, carrying the reference of the book, because it does not have to bring a large book of physical to come preach to various places and locations. Technology is considered to be able to connect them with the other ustaz, kiai or religious figures in the same or different organization.
