Purpose — The purpose of this research is to determine whether there is an effect of the work ethic on the Performance of Employees of the Culture and Tourism Office of Jayawijaya Regency. Design/methodology/approach — The researchers use quantitative research methods with associative to determine the effect of work ethic on employee performance at the Office of Culture and Tourism of Jayawijaya Regency. This research uses library research instruments, observation, documentation, and questionnaires with a Likert Scale. Findings — Results revealed a positive and significant influence between the assessment of Work Ethics and Employee Performance at the Office of Culture and Tourism of Jayawijaya Regency. Practical Implications — The success of an employee's performance can be determined if an agency has a work evaluation system. So an employee must follow the rules and instructions so that later it can be in accordance with the goals of the previous agency. Originality/value —

The productivity of employee performance can be determined by the conditions of the work environment. This of course will affect the success of the agency in determining its goals. The research objective was to determine the effect of the work environment on the performance of the employees of Abdurachman Saleh University (Unars). Quantitative research methods with a population of 66 UNARS employees and saturated sampling technique so that the sample is also 66 respondents. The data used are primary and secondary data. The data were analyzed using t test, determinant test and simple regression model using SPSS 22. The results showed a simple regression model Y = -2.7596 + 0.622X. Work environment (X) has a significant effect on the performance of UNARS employees. The contribution of the work environment to employee performance is 38.7%, which means that there is a significant influence relationsh

The purpose of this paper is to describe and analyze the influence of ethical leadership, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction on employee performance. To achieve these objectives, this study uses quantitative research methods. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation of 38 respondents in Sorong City BKPSDM analyzed using SPSS 22. The results showed that there was a significant influence between ethical leadership, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction on employee performance. So to improve employee performance, the organization and institutional management must pay attention to improving the quality of leadership, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction. The findings of this study are expected to be useful for further researchers in the fields of management, accounting, administration and economics.

This study aims to determine the effect of giving incentives to employee performance, giving rewards to employee performance and giving incentives and rewards to the performance of employees. This study uses quantitative research methods, using saturated samples totaling 63 people. The results of the study obtained the consequences of giving incentives have a significant influence on employee performance, giving rewards has a considerable impact on employee performance. Providing incentives and rewards has a significant influence on employee performance with a coefficient of determination of 0.321. This can be interpreted that the variable giving incentives and rewards affects 32.1% of employee performance and other factors influence the remaining 67.9%.

The objectives of this study were: 1) to determine and analyze the effect of training on employee performance in the Office of the Djalaluddin Airport Operational Unit of Gorontalo; 2) to determine and analyze the influence of competence on employee performance in the Office of the Djalaluddin Airport Operational Unit of Gorontalo; 3) to determine and analyze the influence of motivation on employee performance in the Office of the Djalaluddin Airport Operational Unit of Gorontalo; 4) to identify and analyze the effect of training, competence and motivation simultaneously on employee performance in the Office of the Djalaluddin Airport Operational Unit of Gorontalo. This research uses quantitative research methods with observation data collection techniques, interviews, questionnaires, literature study and literature review. The data analysis technique used the SPSS 20 program, namely validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research that the researchers conducted show that: 1) there is a positive and significant influence between training variables on employee performance in the office; 2) there is a positive and significant influence between competency variables on employee performance in the Office of the Djalaluddin Airport Operational Unit of  Gorontalo; 3) there are positive and significant influence between motivation variables on employee performance in the Office of the Djalaluddin Airport Operational Unit of  Gorontalo; 4) there is a positive and significant influence simultaneously between training, competence and motivation on employee performance at the Office of the Djalaluddin Airport Operational Unit of  Gorontalo.

ABSTRACTThis research addreses to determinate the effect of Islamic work ethics to employee performance and job satisfaction as an intervening variable in RS PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta.The population in this study are all nurses RS PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta totaling 258 nurses. The sampling tehnique used purposive sampling method and sample obtained 75 respondents. Data were analyzed using SPSS for Windows Release 20.0.The dependent variable (Y) of this research is employee performance. The independent variable (X) Islamic work ethic and for intervening variables (Z) is job satisfaction. This method used is quantitative research methods. For the method of data analysis self are using path analysis.The results of this showed that: (1) the work ethic Islam is influence positively significant for the employee performance. (2) Islamic work ethics influenced positively significant effect on job satisfaction. (3) Job satisfaction has a positively significant on employee performance. (4) The Islamic work ethic influenced toward employee performance by means job satisfaction as intervening variable.Keywords: Islamic work ethic, job satisfaction, employee performance

<p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh etos kerja dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Mercedes Benz Indonesia. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada karyawan PT Mercedes Benz Indonesia secara acak. Metode analissis yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif, metode analisis statistik yang terdiri dari regresi, analisis linier, pengujian signifikansi parsial (uji t) dan pengujian koefisien<br />187<br />determinasi. Dan itu sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 50 responden. Ini ditunjukkan dari hasil persamaan regresi Y = 29,008 0,178 X1 0,142 X2 dengan interpretasi variabel X1 (etos kerja) sebesar 0,178 dan interpretasi variabel X2 (kepuasan kerja) sebesar 0,142. Berdasarkan statistik uji korelasi yang penulis lakukan, diperoleh koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,252 yang berarti hubungan rendah. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa jika X1 dan X2 naik maka Y juga akan naik. Karena fcount = 1,597 ftabel = .20, then Ho is rejected by Ha accepted, meaning there is no significant influence between work ethic and job satisfaction on employee performance. Keyword : Work Ethics, Job Satisfaction, Performance = 3,20, maka Ho ditolak oleh Ha diterima, artinya tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara etos kerja dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan.</p>

Employee performance is something that is considered important for the company. Employees have high performance will certainly be able to work optimally so that the objectives of the institution itself will be easily achieved. Through the improvement of the working environment and working discipline expected the resulting performance can be optimized within the enterprise. In this study to determine the three variables that can affect employee performance (Y), the work environment variables (X1) and discipline (X2). Simultaneous and partially on the performance of employees at PT.Fuji Seimitsu Indonesia. Type of research is quantitative research. Methods of data collection using questionnaires with sempel amount of research is 100 respondents.Data analysis techniques in research using descriptive analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, validity and reliability test and partial test ( Test T) and a simultaneous test (Test F). Results of research conducted using SPSS 2.2 (ststitical program for social science), from the results obtained that the working environment (X1) were significant influence on employee performance (Y) on PT.Fuji Seimitsu Indonesia because work environment variables t = 3.231 > t table 1.660 with sig = 0.002 < 0.05. Labor discipline (X2) have a significant effect on employee performance (Y). Work environment (X1) and discipline (X2) simultaneously significant effect on employee performance (Y) PT. Purpose The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the model of a rear pressure bulkhead with different design optimizations to meet the pressurized cabin requirements of an aircraft. Design/methodology/approach This paper presents the results of the static analysis of a dome-shaped rear pressure bulkhead model designed in Catia-v5. Numerical analysis of model meshed in hyper-mesh and solved using Opti-Struct for iterative design optimizations. Findings All the iterative models are analyzed at 9 Psi. Rear pressure bulkhead designed with L-section stringer shows better results than the model optimized with T-section stringer for the same thickness. The model optimized with L-shaped stinger also reduces the weight of the bulkhead without affecting the structural integrity. Practical implications It has been concluded in this paper that the selection of specific shapes of the stringers shows a significant influence on weight reduction. Originality/value This paper provides a topical, technical insight into the design and development of a rear pressure bulkhead. It also outlines the future development of dome-shaped rear pressure bulkhead.

This study aims to determine the effect of Employee Satisfaction and Performance based on the Characteristics of Compensation Systems and Organizational Culture in the Hospital of Dr. Soepraoen Malang. This study uses a quantitative research method research design. Data collected using a questionnaire on 100 permanent employee respondents at Soepraoen Hospital Malang.Independent variables of this study are Job Satisfaction and Employee Performance. The dependent variable of this study is the Compensation System and Organizational Culture. ABSTRAK-Tujuan dari mempelajari Ilmu komunikasi adalah untuk mengembangkan dan meningkatkan kemampuan berkomunikasi dengan sesama manusia,  sehingga dapat saling berkomunikasi dengan lebih efektif dalam mencapai tujuan, baik tujuan individu, tujuan organisasi maupun  tujuan masyarakat. Di dalam Komunikasi Organisasi ada Budaya Komunikasi dengan garis hubungan yang berbeda. Garis hubungan vertikal kebawah, yaitu antara atasan dan bawahan, garis hubungan horizontal yaitu komunikasi antar pegawai dan garis hubungan yang terakhir adalah vertikal keatas dari pegawai ke atasannya. Tiap  garis hubungan tersebut ada polanya masing-masing. Jika pola komunikasi berjalan tidak mengikuti aturannya, maka pelaksanaan komunikasi akan berjalan kurang baik. Pelaksanaan komunikasi yang efektif sangat penting untuk dapat mendorong semangat serta meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Pelanggaran komunikasi seringkali disebabkan karena pelaku tidak mengetahui bahwa komunikasi mereka telah melanggar  jalur ketertiban.“Maksud dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran yang mendalam dan memberikan bukti empiris mengenai pengaruh pola komunikasi organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai.”Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif atau sering juga disebut sebagai metode tradisional. Yaitu dimana data yang dihasilkan akan berupa angka-angka dan analisisnya menggunakan statistik. Hasil pengujian regresi menunjukkan bahwa variabel pola komunikasi organisasi mempengaruhi kinerja“pegawai di Pusat Pengembangan dan Pembedayaan Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan (P4TK) Bisnis dan Pariwisata Jakarta. Kata kunci:”Komunikasi, Pola komunikasi, kinerja pegawai” ABSTRACT- The main purpose of studying communication is to develop and improve the ability to communicate with humans, so they can interact with each other more effectively in achieving goals, both individual goals, organizational goals and community goals. In the context of organizational communication,  an organizational culture sees communication relationships from the perpetrator's relationship line. The downward vertical relationship line, that is between superiors and subordinates, the horizontal relationship line is between one employee and another employee and last one is upward vertical relationship line, that is between the employee to the superior. Each of these lines of communication has its own pattern. If the communication pattern does not go according to the rules, then the implementation of communication will not work well. This will become one of the disturbances or obstacles in achieving company performance because the message is not conveyed correctly. Communication violations that occur are mostly caused by the perpetrators of the communication not knowing that they have violated the order lines. The purpose of this study is to obtain an in-depth picture and provide empirical evidence regarding the effect of organizational communication patterns on employee performance. The research used quantitative research methods or often referred to as traditional methods. The resulting data will be in the form of numbers and the analysis uses statistics. The results of regression testing show that the”variable organizational communication patterns affect the performance of employees at Pusat Pengembangan dan Pemberdayaan Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan (P4TK) Bisnis dan Pariwisata Jakarta.”  Keywords: Communication, communication patterns, employee performance
