Learning media can be made using audio-visual media. Audio-visual media here is the media that conveys the message specifically to the senses of hearing and sight. The media has sound elements and image elements. Teachers who provide modifications to the media will make learning more interesting for students, especially if there are students with slow learner barriers in class. The slow learner is a learning barrier in children, which is characterized by a gap between the level of intelligence and academic ability that should be achieved. The use of audio-visual media is able to have a positive influence on the reading and numeracy skills of students with slow learners.

ABSTRACTPhotography is one of the media used to introduce the character or self-image of politicians during regional head elections, or presidential elections. Among them are by displaying photos of faces or campaign activities for APK (Campaign Props) billboards, namely billboards or billboards installed on protocol roads that can be seen by the public, pamphlets, mass media, and etc. Visual media in the form of photos has a very big influence on public opinion. Photography has a visual power that is able to construct the authenticity of factual events. The purpose of this study is to find out how the process of making photography a political visual communication medium in Indonesia. The method used is descriptive qualitative with an approach through the literature study method. The results of this study can be concluded that the process of making photography a political medium of visual communication to the public is carried out in several ways, namely by recruiting special photographers themselves, designing them, and distributing them. The effect of the message generated from a photography with a good appearance is the effect of knowledge and effect of information.Keywords:  Photography, Political Media, Visual Communication, Message Effects, Political Communication.  ABSTRAKFotografi merupakan salah satu media yang digunakan untuk mengenalkan karakter atau citra diri politisi saat pemilihan kepala daerah, ataupun pemilihan presiden. Diantaranya dengan memajang foto-foto wajah atau kegiatan kampanye untuk baliho APK (Alat Peraga Kampanye) yakni papan reklame atau billboard yang dipasang di jalan-jalan protokol yang bisa dilihat oleh masyarakat luas, pamflet, media massa, dan sebagainya. Media visual berupa foto sangat besar pengaruhnya mempengaruhi opini publik. Fotografi memiliki kekuatan visual yang mampu mengkonstruksi keotentikan peristiwa faktual. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses menjadikan fotografi sebagai media komunikasi visual politik di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan melalui metode studi literatur. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses menjadikan fotografi sebagai media politik komunikasi visual kepada masyarakat dilakukan dengan beberapa cara, yakni dengan merekrut khusus fotografer sendiri, mendesainnya, dan menyebarkannya. Efek pesan yang ditimbulkan dari sebuah fotografi dengan tampilan yang baik adalah efek pengetahuan dan efek informasi.Kata Kunci: Fotografi, Media Politik, Komunikasi Visual, Efek Pesan, Komunikasi Politik.

Currently the development of information technology has an important influence in the development of learning systems, one of which is technology in the multimedia field. Multimedia technology is an indispensable tool for the learning process. The use of text, images, audio, video, and animation in learning helps students to quickly understand learning material. Multimedia also provides opportunities for educators to develop learning methods so that they get maximum results. AMIK AKMI Baturaja is a computer college that has not fully utilized information technology in its learning, especially in the field of Multimedia. For this reason, researchers conducted this research for the development of learning at the Campus AMIK AKMI Baturaja. This study aims to produce a multimedia-based learning media at AMIK AKMI Baturaja which can be a driving force for student learning achievement. In this study using a research method of literature study, observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The media development method uses MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) which consists of six stages, namely concept (needs analysis), design (design), material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. . The result of this research is a multimedia-based learning system presented in the form of e-learning. This media is expected to have a positive influence in increasing student achievement and learning independence.

The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the online learning process. So a solution is needed to answer these problems. Online learning can solve this problem. The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of online implementation at Muhammadiyah 5 Porong Elementary School. The research method used the interview method by asking questions to 1 respondent. Based on the data it was found that all students did online learning and it was carried out according to their respective lesson schedules. The material information obtained through online learning is not effective for elementary school age children. The media used during online learning and the majority use the Google Classroom and Google Meet systems. Although this system can be used as a solution for conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic, several obstacles such as unstable internet networks, limited quotas, and others. In conditions of an outbreak Covid-19, online learning can be used with consideration of students' conditions, so they will get used to adjusting to the online system, learning can be done well. In addition, this online system can be used additional experiences for students in the future.The positive influence can be done anywhere and anytime according to the existing conditions. Because more time is spent at home, online learning can also increase the closeness between students and their parents. The negative influence of students who complain about the ineffectiveness of online learning, such as too many assignments, different internet networks for each student, difficulty understanding the material provided by the teacher, students also get bored quickly, and many others.

One effort to increase the understanding of pregnant women about the danger signs of pregnancy is to carry out social persuasion in the form of education to improve self-efficacy of understanding the danger signs. Education can be done using a variety of media, namely visual media, audio and audio visual. This literature study aims to find out Effectiveness of Self-Efficacy towards Understanding of  Pregnancy Danger Signs using Videos and Books of MCH.The design used in this study is the study of literature. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from journal database searches taken through the internet, both national and international journals. The search results obtained as many as 12 journals that are considered in accordance with the purpose of the study. The results of the literature study show that there is an effect of Self-Efficacy on Understanding of the Signs of danger of pregnancy using Video, there is an effect of Self-Efficacy of Understanding of Signs of danger of pregnancy using the MCH Handbook, and Video media is more effective than the Book of MCH. The conclusion of this literature study is The effectiveness of education delivered is affected by a variety of things, one of which is the media used. The better the media used, the easier the reception of material by respondents. Recommendations from this literature study virtue need to improve the health promotion strategy by advocacy strategy, social support strategy and community empowerment strategy

Children with slow learning problem or a slow learner are those who have low learning achievement or slightly below average of children in general. Today, the children slowly learn many encountered not only in school inclusion, but in regular schools too. Teachers who do not have adequate experience will find it difficult to deal with in the classroom. So the goal of this research is to find appropriate learning strategies for slow learners in elementary school.

The research is using the 4 D Thiagarajan development model consisting of Define, Design, Development and Dissemination. The validation results of three experts consisting of material experts, design experts and media experts with a very decent category. Once validated by the three experts, the media tested on two groups of small groups and big groups by demonstrating the effectiveness of the media. One of the patterns of kinship adopted from the value of Batak culture contains many positive and good elements that can be used as a role model in the use of technology. Making the use of technology is growing by having a cultural corridor that can align in its development and use in both the digital world though. In this study gave birth to a visual learning media that collaborated with the values of Batak culture.

Low ability of students in understanding the vocabulary of Arabic one of them due to improper use of learning media. Similarly, in the fourth grader Islamic Elementary School Parambahan Lampasi Payakumbuh, that is, there are many daily results of the Arabic language vocabulary students who are below average. Therefore, it is necessary to test the media that is deemed interesting for the students that is audio visual media. The purpose of this research is to uncover the influence of the use of audio visual media to the outcome of learning vocabulary Arabic in class four at Islamic Elementary School Parambahan Lampasi Payakumbuh. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with the quasi-experimentation approach, the population of this research is the fourth graders at Islamic Elementary School Parambahan Lampasi Payakumbuh. Researchers took them as samples using the total sampling technique, since the fourth class consisted of two classes, namely fourth grade A and fourth grade B. Learning in experimental classes using audio visual media, while the control class without using media. The result of this study is that audio visual media can affect the learning of the language Mufradat Arabic positively to students in Islamic Elementary School Parambahan Lampasi Payakumbuh.

The aims of this research was to describe the ability to observed of students in grade II-A on the learning theme X Recreation in 49 Public Elementary School Kuranji Padang. The design of this research was a classroom action research. The instrument of this research are teacher observation sheet activities, the ability to observed of student observation sheet, and learning test sheet. The subjects were 26 students of class II-A. Results of this research in two cycles showed an increasement in the use of visual media. The ability of students to interpreted the media on the first cycle in the amount of 6,8 (68,86%) and increased to 8,4 (84,34%) in the second cycle. Students’ ability to created a message based on what they interpreted in the first cycle by 9,3 (93%) and increased 9,6 (95,84%) in the second cycle. It can be concluded that, through the use of visual media could improved students' ability to observed in learning process of students in grade II-A on the learning theme X Recreation in 49 Public Elementary School Kuranji Padang . Researchers suggest that teachers can use and maximize the use of appropriate media in each of the learning process, one of them by using visual media to increase the ability students to observe.
