Medical volunteerism gives an opportunity for future specialists to provide free assistance to practical healthcare, as well as to acquire personal and professional qualities required for a student at a medical university. Medical volunteers are implementing many large-scale campaigns and projects aimed at the prevention of chronic non-communicable diseases and other socially significant diseases, and at promoting a healthy lifestyle. The results of the work are to increase public awareness, as preventive measures are an important component of the healthcare system, aimed at the formation of the population's medical and social activity and motivation for a healthy lifestyle.

The purpose of this Field Practice Activity is to assess the efficiency of the COVID-19 task force's implementation in Selaawi District in dealing with COVID-19 and residents who have been proven positive for COVID-19. The Garut Regent's Decree establishes a Task Force for the Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions in Selaawi District, Garut Regency. The technique that was used a Literature Review and the roadblocks that it faces, including measures to restrict the spread of the corona virus, which have not been maximized. People are progressively disobeying 3M's health recommendations, such as wearing masks, cleaning their hands with soap, and keeping a safe distance. The large-scale social restriction (PSBB) strategy has aided the implementation of physical distance in Indonesia since the start of the pandemic. The remedy to this problem is to enforce 3M (masks, distance, and hand washing) in a systematic manner, as well as passively 3T (testing, tracing, and treatment) and raise public awareness about the necessity of health procedures through the COVID-19 task force. In this method, the handling efforts can yield the best results and have been successful in lowering positive numbers and lowering deaths. Keywords: COVID-19, Emergency, Society, Implementation

Introduction. Since 2011, Moscow has been implementing a three-level model for prevention of noncommunicable diseases. At the first (population) level, as part of interagency interaction, health authorities are developing measures to promote population's commitment to a healthy lifestyle. Aims. To provide rationale for management decision on creation of the Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention of Moscow in State Budgetary Institution “Research Institute for Healthcare Organization and Medical Management of Moscow Healthcare Department”. The goal of the Center is to develop new urban policy in improving public health based on interdepartmental interaction by providing scientific, methodological and organizational support to promote population’s commitment to a healthy lifestyle. Materials and methods. Authors analyzed and assessed development issues of primary prevention at the population level using open data on the Internet, statistical databases of Rosstat and Mosgorstat. Content, statistical and documentary analyses were also used. Results. Currently, Moscow puts an emphasis on prevention, and for this purpose implemented a three-tier model for prevention of non-communicable diseases. At the population level, as part of interdepartmental interaction, it is required to develop measures aimed at improving healthcare, creating a health-preserving environment in the city, and forming a commitment to a healthy lifestyle among the population. Implementation gaps to a decree have been narrowed; and health authorities have created an institution that works towards the goal of strengthening public health in Moscow, covering the entire population of Moscow, and that interacts in the interests of healthcare with government bodies, departments, media and civil society. The current situation, including challenges due to COVID-19 pandemic, required wider participation of authorities and departments, leadership of administrative districts in strengthening public health, coordination and monitoring of all business processes to improve public health. Conclusion. It has been substantiated that public participation in preventive measures is not enough. To solve the issues one should develop and implement large-scale programs and projects to improve public health with more active involvement of authorities and departments of administrative districts, consultative and methodological support, taking into account the existing territorial characteristics of administrative and municipal districts of Moscow, including improving health quality of workers.

The article outlines the role of telemedicine within the entire medical services in Romania, and aims to highlight the benefits and limitations of this type of interaction, its current market size, its growth potential and the top ten private players involved. In order to achieve the goals set in the European Digital Strategy 2030, Romania must continue to adopt measures that include raising public awareness of the benefits involved by telemedicine, the support of large-scale projects that may test and evaluate telemedicine, as well as legislative acts to eliminate the barriers against the use of telemedicine. As digital medicine gains importance, several paradigms involving the doctor-patient interaction, prophylaxis, healthy human medicine, and the family doctors will also change. Both qualitative and quantitative data has been analysed in the research process. The former includes articles and surveys published by the specialist press. The quantitative data has been taken from reports published by the European Commission or by the World Health Organisation. With regard to the concept of „personalized medicine” and to the National Health Strategy 2021-2027, the author has consulted the State of Innovation 2020 report, elaborated by the Centre for Innovation in Medicine.

Qatar is one of the few countries in the world with a dedicated national sports day. Qatar believes that sport is one of the best tools to promote a healthy lifestyle to help curb the growing burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs). With the well-established positive health effects of soccer on cardiovascular, metabolic, and musculoskeletal conditions, the vision of the FIFA World Cup 2022™ hosted by Qatar to use the power of soccer to “open the door of an amazing world experience” is praiseworthy. With NCDs accounting for 70% of deaths in Qatar, there exists a perfect opportunity to promote healthy lifestyles to prevent, treat, and reverse NCDs. We believe that the FIFA World Cup 2022™ presents an opportunity that could contribute to generating valuable evidence on the lifestyle benefits of such large-scale events. This event comes at an opportune moment for countries in the region to make their health systems lifestyle-sensitive. FIFA World Cup 2022™ could just be the tipping point in the region that establishes the role of sports in mitigating the burden of NCDs. With the impact of COVID-19 on persons with pre-existing NCDs, the urgency for addressing the “syndemic” cannot be overemphasized and sport can be the lifestyle medicine.

The aim of the study was to substantiate the need for and evaluate the effectiveness of using a business game to increase the awareness of students of a medical university about the skills of a healthy lifestyle when using electronic devices as part of teaching hygienic disciplines. At the Department of Hygiene of the Pediatric Faculty of the Russian National Research Medical University named after V.I. N.I. Pirogov, a business game "Formation of skills for the safe use of electronic devices" has been developed. The business game is a "simulation-role", students play the role of "doctors" who conduct hygienic education for contingents of different ages (preschoolers, schoolchildren, college students, universities). The study involved 220 medical workers and 256 students. Inclusion criteria — informed consent, correctly completed questionnaire. Statistical data processing was carried out using Statistica 13.0. 30.0% of the surveyed doctors did not have the skills to safely use electronic devices. The trainees characterized their adherence to a healthy lifestyle by 6.1 ± 0.09 points, and their readiness to give recommendations on a healthy lifestyle of patients by 5.6 ± 0.12 out of 10 possible. The business game contributes to the formation of universal and general professional competencies aimed at developing the skills of leading a healthy lifestyle and promoting health preservation among future doctors. Conducting classes in the form of a business game increases motivation for learning, provides greater visibility of the presentation of educational material and the possibility of manifestation of creative initiative.

This article focuses on approaches to implementing the principles of P4 medicine, specifically, stimulating prevention-based thinking among students of faculties of general medicine and pediatrics. Below, we describe a pilot approach to teaching hygiene that was implemented at the Department of General Hygiene (Kazan State Medical University). Considering the gnoseological role of empathy, we designed an interactive workbook for students taking a course in Hygiene. The workbook allows the student to engage in empathic interactions and discourse about the studied subject with the teacher and peers. After the course, the students were surveyed; their degree of engagement in the learning process and their expectations were evaluated. The respondents rated their interest in Hygiene before starting the course as 5.6 and 5.7 points on the 10-point scale (for the traditional and innovative courses, respectively). During the course, the score increased to 5.8 and 8.6 points for the traditional and innovative courses, respectively. Our pilot project demonstrates the need for reviewing the strategy of teaching hygiene and prevention-related disciplines at clinical faculties and including the principles of P4 medicine in the medical curriculum, thus allowing the student to effectively perform their professional duties in primary healthcare.
