This article is a developmental research that aims to develop teaching materials based on the writing process in producing genre. In this study also estimated the validity of teaching materials developed. This research method was done in four stages; definition, design, development and dissemination. Definition was done to analyze the syllabus of Writin II. Design was done to analyze the need asse students and teachers. The result of the need analysis for both students and teachers indicated that they need writing teaching material which can lead them to pass the process of writing. Development results demonstrate the validity of the product contained in the category can be used with a slight improvement with a value of 75.4. It can be concluded that the product can be used as teaching materials to teach writing. Dissemination was done in limited trial.

This study aims to develop a value-based teaching material for Citizenship Education (PKn) together with the local wisdom of the Minangkabau community to build the national character of the fifth grade students of Elementary School. The research conducted is research and development with the ADDIE research model which is an acronym in English from the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. By participating in the development stage of the ADDIE model, teaching material development is carried out by combining the values of togetherness found in the local wisdom of the Minangkabau community in a single unit of learning material. Data obtained from the validation of teaching materials, classroom learning practices, and the effectiveness of learning from student learning outcomes. The results of this study indicate that the development of Pkn teaching materials based on the values of togetherness of the Minangkabau community has been successfully carried out based on data on the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of teaching materials in learning in Class V of Elementary School.Keywords: Development Research, Minangkabau, PKn, SD Togetherness Value.

Science learning aims to realize students have the science literacy. One characteristic for someone who is science literate is having an understanding of NOS. NOS can be explicit in teaching material. based on various studies and observation results indicate that NOS exploration in teaching materials is still low so that it affects students' understanding of NOS. This research uses descriptive research method with data collection is done through literature study so that the result of need analysis explicit the nature of science (NOS) in teaching material on topics of layer of earth. Pembelajaran IPA bertujuan mewujudkan siswa berliterasi sains. Salah satu karakteristik bagi seseorang yang berliterasi sains yaitu memiliki pemahaman tentang NOS. NOS dapat dieksplisitkan dalam bahan ajar. berdasarkan berbagai penelitian dan hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa pengeksplisitan NOS dalam bahan ajar masih rendah sehingga mempengaruhi pemahaman siswa mengenai NOS. This study concerns on how reading text materials are developed for vocational school. This study was conducted by using developmental research. The subject of this research was class XII SMK Sandhy Putra 2 Medan consisting of 36 students. Instrumentations for collecting data were questionnaire and interview. After analyzing the data, the writer got the students’ need in learning English in term of vocation that they have. Based on the students’ need analysis, then it was got some basic competences which need to be reached by the students, and based on the basic competences, syllabus can be designed. After syllabus had been designed, developing teaching materials was done. The developed teaching materials were related to the vocation that the students had; it was culinary art. The development of materials followed four stages; those were pre-development/ planning, development, evaluation, and revision.

Research aims to find out how avalid and effective environment-based teaching material is designed. This research is a research method of research&Development (R&D). To develop the product, this research follows the design of 4-D developmentmodel that includes four phases: Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate. The trial subjects were 18 students in class IV SDIT Al-Bashirah city Palopo. The results of the validity of the design teaching book are obtained by the value 4.18 with valid categories. The effectiveness of teaching materials is analyzed based onthe results of student study test and studen response after testing conducted. Theresults of  the test analysis obtained anaverage of 79.16 good categories with a percentage of 89%. While the results of the student responses poll analysis obtained 81.29% of students respond positively to teaching materials. The analysis was concluded that the neighbourhood-based teaching book wasincluded in the criteria for the validity and effectiveness of the teaching materials.

Increasing independence and competitiveness of the nation is carried out in order to advance the Indonesian civilization. One of them is through the development of a national system of science, and technology in Citizenship Education. Citizenship Education is one of the subjects that shape the character of Indonesian society. The long-term goals to be achieved in this study are as follows: the researcher found a developmental design of Citizenship Education Learning Model to improve the character of Indonesian society in the era of digital media and the Revolution of Technology. The research method used research and development which is a research method used to yield certain products and to test the validity and the effectiveness of the products. This study used a procedural development model. The procedure in this study adapted the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). The sample in this study involved State and Private Universities in Indonesia. The results of the study show the following: First, doing a need analysis, identifying problems (needs), and performing task analysis; Second, Design, this design phase, formulated SMART learning objective; Third, Development was realizing blue-print with digital media innovation; Fourth, Implementation was a real step to implement the learning system that we were making; Fifth, Evaluation was a process to see whether the learning system being built was successful, in accordance with early expectations or not. The evaluation was the final way from the design model of the ADDIE learning system. Based on the instructional development model ADDIE, it was then adopted in the developmental stage of the Citizenship Education learning model, with the modification of "MPC" (Modification of Project Citizen) which has adopted the absorption of digital media and the technological revolution.

This article intends to examine the concept of education and training in the form of information and communication technology-based teaching materials for the athlete's teacher. This training is very important for them considering the teacher's low ability to use technology in the learning process. The research method used is the study of literature. The results of the analysis show that Substantive Technical Training in Teaching Material Preparation can be implemented to improve the competence of RA teachers in utilizing ICT-based learning media.

This article presents a part of a study conducted to develop multimedia based teaching material for Grammar 3. It aims at describing needs and problems of students in learning Grammar 3 through a descriptive study. The data were gathered from the questionnaires distributed to the students who have taken Grammar 3 course. The result of the research conveys that 1) there is a gap between the objective of Grammar 3 course and the students’ achievement in the class, 2) students get the problems in understanding Grammar 3 due to inappropriate teaching materials used in teaching and learning process, and 3) the students need a multimedia based teaching materials to improve their understanding and achievement in Grammar 3 course.Key words/phrases:teaching material development, multimedia, need analysis, Grammar 3 APAKAH MAHASISWA MEMBUTUHKAN MATERI AJAR GRAMMAR 3 BERBASIS MULTIMEDIA?AbstrakArtikel ini merupakan salah satu bagian dari rangkaian penelitian pengembangan materi ajar Grammar 3 berbasis multimedia. Modul dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia menjadi pendukung siswa dalam menguasai materi sebab materi bahasa Indonesia saat ini diorientasikan berbasis teks. Tujuan pengembangan bahan ajar berbentuk modul ini untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar modul berbasis local wisdom yang layak pada materi menulis karangan narasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau Reseach and Development. Pengembangan mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyse, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Namun, pengembangan ini hanya sampai tahap implementation dan tahap kelima tidak dilakukan karena keterbatasan waktu dan biaya. Implementasi dilakukan pada salah satu sekolah dasar dengan subjek 28 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis dengan deskriptif persentase.  Hasil dari validasi modul oleh ahli materi dan pembelajaran terdiri dari aspek kelayakan isi sebesar 89%, aspek kebahasaan 87%, dan aspek sajian 82%. Sementara itu, penilaian produk oleh ahli media meliputi aspek bahan ajar sebesar 83%, aspek gambar/kegrafikan sebesar 81%, dan aspek tampilan sebesar 82%. Hasil uji coba terbatas mendapat respon positif sebesar 98,25% sehingga modul sangat layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar. Penelitian ini menghasilkan pengembangan bahan ajar modul yang berbasis local wisdom di sekitar siswa yang menjadikan inovasi dalam mengembangkan kemampuan menulis narasi.   The position of Indonesian Language subjects in the 2013 Curriculum is an intermittent interrelation of other subjects in the learning process, in addition to that the Indonesian language material is currently oriented based on text. The purpose of developing teaching materials is to form modules to produce module teaching materials based on local wisdom in writing narrative essays for fifth grade students to find out the level of feasibility of the modules developed in writing local narrative essay writing materials. This type of research is development research or research and development. An interesting development in the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). However, this development only reached implementation, and the completion was not carried out due to time and cost limitations. Implementation was carried out in one of the elementary schools with a subject of 28 students. The technique of collecting data in this study used a questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed with descriptive percentages. The results of the module validation by subject matter and learning experts consisted of 89% content eligibility aspects, 87% linguistic aspects, and 82% presentation aspects. Meanwhile, media experts released products with 83% teaching aspect, 81% picture / graphic aspect and 82% visual aspect. The limited trial results received a positive response of 98.25% so that the module is very feasible to use as teaching material. Teaching material based development modules based on local wisdom among students become an innovation in developing narrative writing skills

The purposes of this research included: (1) developing teaching materials for writing short story using paraphrasing technique, (2) implementing learning to write short story using paraphrasing technique, (3) describing the feasibility of teaching materials for writing short story using paraphrasing technique. This research uses the research method of developing Willis's reflective, recursive, design, and development (R2D2) models. The method used is to produce a product and test the feasibility of the product in the form of teaching materials to write short stories with paraphrasing techniques in class XI MAN 2 Samarinda students. The results of the development of teaching materials for short story writing with paraphrasing techniques were validated by content/content experts who gave an average score of 92.04% and validation of teaching material experts obtained an average score of 95%. From the validation results the experts obtained an average score of 93.52% with a very good category. Thus, the teaching material produced is very suitable for use by students of class XI. Furthermore, implementing learning to write short stories with paraphrase techniques through planning assessments conducted by observer 1 who gave an average score of 80% and observer 2 gave an average score of 93.33%. The implementation of learning was given an average score of 81.73% by observer 1 and observer 2 giving an average score of 86.08%. From the average score given by observers 1 and 2 states learning takes place very well. The feasibility of teaching materials for short story writing with paraphrase techniques can be seen from the results of small group pretest trials with an average value of 67.8 and 86.7 posttests and field trials with an average value of 73.75 and posttests with an average value 88.18% with a very decent category.

The author analyzed the pattern of presenting descriptions in the novel "Surat Kecil untukTuhan" by Agnes Davonar. The purpose of this study is to describe the pattern of presentation of static descriptions, patterns of presentation of moving descriptions, patterns of presentation of outline descriptions, and describing the results of studies on the pattern of presentation of descriptions in the novel "Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan" by Agnes Davonar can be used as a teaching  material  Indonesian  for  class  XII  learners  based  on  the  2013 Curriculum. The research method use is descriptive qualitative method. Therefore, the data obtained in this study are not in the form of numbers, but in the form of descriptions or narratives. The results showed that in the novel "Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan" by Agnes Davonar, there were 9 patterns of description presentation including, 5 static patterns, 3 moving patterns, and 1 skeleton pattern. The results also showed that based on the results of the analysis of the suitability of study materials with the demands of the curriculum, the novel “Surat Kecil untuk Tuhan” can the results of the study have been validated by experts and declared worthy of use as teaching materials.
