The Covid-19 epidemic is the center of worldwide attention today not only in Indonesia but also in all parts of the worlds continents. In Lampung Province prevention of the spread of Covid-19 continues to be done by involving the community to be able to participate and play an active or passive role. The purpose of this study is to find out how public participation in preventing Covid-19 outbreaks in Lampung Province. This research uses a qualitative research method with a qualitative descriptive approach in which the researcher wants to describe and express phenomena and facts that occur clearly. The results showed that public participation in the prevention of Covid-19 outbreaks in Lampung Province was considered quite high, it was judged by the active role of the people of Lampung Province in preventing Covid-19 by carrying out healthy lifestyles, complying with regulations and appeals from the central and regional governments, and the awareness of the public to conduct social distancing in accordance with regulations from the central and regional governments. Even though it is not yet fully in good value and there are still people who violate it by ignoring the governments appeal but the majority of people in Lampung Province are aware of the dangers of Covid-19. The Lampung Provincial Government together with the community until now also continues to monitor and work together to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in Lampung Province.

The construction of socio-cultural stigmatization on the understanding of mental disorders is particularly interesting to study in the people with mental disorders who received treatment at the Mental Hospital. Mental disorder is a disease caused by the chaos of thoughts, perceptions and behavior in which the individualaare not able to adjust to themselves, other people, society and the environment. By applying the cultural studies viewpoint that is siding with the oppressed, the study aims to determine the forms and factors causing the stigma of people with mental disorders. The research method used is observation, in-depth interviews and life history data collection. The collected data were then analyzed using qualitative descriptive and interpretative. The results showed that the forms of stigma with mental disorders are divided into two, namely the public stigma (stigma derived from the community) and self-stigma (stigma comes from the patient and his own family). The forms of the public stigma include rejection, exclusion, and violence. The self-stigma takes the forms, among others, prejudice, guilt, fear and anger. Factors behind the stigma of mental disorders are external and internal factors. External factors include, among others, the madness is a disgrace, the myth of mental illness, and people's belief regarding the role of dukun. While the internal factors are family knowledge of the etiology of mental disorders, lack of family support and feelings of shame.

<br /><table class="data" width="100%"><tbody><tr valign="top"><td class="value"><p>Bojongkoneng village in Bogor Regency is an area that is vulnerable to landslide disaster. Previous research has shown that Bojongkoneng village has local wisdom that can be used to reduce damage risk from landslide disaster. This article discusses about the form of local wisdom in disaster mitigation by analyzing from the public relations in Bojongkoneng village with environment. This research was conducted with qualitative descriptive approach, using primary data technique through observation, interview, and documentation, and secondary data through literature study. The results reveal that Bojongkoneng people has some form of local wisdom that has been used as an effort to mitigate landslide disaster that can be described through the identity of Bojongkoneng people related to relation of theyself with environment, relation of the people with environment on affection aspect, and relation of the people with its environment in fulfilling their life necessities.</p></td></tr></tbody></table>


The problem of tolerance in Indonesia today is something that is warmly discussed. Issues and events leading to an atmosphere of intolerance are rampant in various regions in Indonesia. This is undoubtedly a severe threat to the sustainability of the country and the Indonesian people who have the motto of Unity in Diversity, which contains a broad meaning of diversity in diversity. The purpose of this research is to identify and photograph the local wisdom of the people of North Sulawesi, especially in the city of Tomohon which can be used as values in building an atmosphere of tolerance in the community. In this study, researchers chose to use a qualitative descriptive approach by collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation studies. In this study a qualitative approach is used because it fits the problems studied, and also because: (1) the approach in this study is more flexible, (2) can present data directly, the nature of the relationship between informants and researchers, (3) can adjust and sensitive to the phenomena faced in the field. The sources of data in this study are local government, religious leaders, forums for inter-religious harmony, traditional leaders, community leaders, and local communities and immigrants. This study found that tolerance in the community of the city of Tomohon was maintained because of the strong values contained in local wisdom.

ABSTRAKPeran Pustakawan dalam pengelolaan dan penerbitan jurnal ilmiah berdasarkan pengalaman dari pengelola jurnal Sosiohumaniora, Bionatura, Dharmakarya dan  Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat di Universitas Padjadjaran, tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini, yaitu: (1) berbagi pengetahuan tentang pengelolaan jurnal serta manfaatnya bagi pustakawan; (2) menjelaskan peran pustakawan dalam pengelolaan dan penerbitan jurnal ilmiah; dan (3) menunjukkan kegiatan atau pekerjaan yang dapat diklaim sebagai angka kredit pustakawan ketika menjadi pengelola jurnal online. Metode yang digunakan metode kualitatif- deskriptif.  Metode kualitatif adalah ”disebut pula metode  penelitian  naturalistik karena penelitiannya dilakukan  pada kondisi yang alamiah. Pendekatan deskriptif adalah ” suatu penelitian yang  didasarkan pada data yang ada atau penyelidikan  yang  bertujuan pada pemecahan masalah.  Peran pustakawan sebagai pengelola jurnal ilmiah perlu pula masuk dalam kompetensi pustakawan karena berkaitan dengan keahlian pustakawan dalam memberikan layanan informasi. Dengan demikian, adanya peran aktif pustakawan di berbagai lembaga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pengelolaan jurnal ilmiah di Indonesia. Kata Kunci : pengelolaan, penerbitan, jurnal online, administrator jurnal ROLE OF LIBRARY IN MANAGEMENTAND PUBLISHING SCIENTIFIC JOURNALSABSTRACTThe role of librarians in the management and publication of scientific journals is based on the experience of the managers of the journal Sosiohumaniora, Bionatura, Dharmakarya and the Community Service Journal at Padjadjaran University, the objectives of writing this article: (2) explain the role of librarians in the management and publication of scientific journals; and (3) showing activities or work that can be claimed as librarian credit numbers when managing the journal. The method used is qualitative-descriptive method. Qualitative methods are "also called naturalistic research methods because their research is carried out in natural conditions". Descriptive approach is "a study based on existing data or an investigation aimed at solving problems. The role of librarians as managers of scientific journals also needs to be included in librarian competencies because they are related to librarian expertise in providing information services. The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a recession in Indonesia. Islamic philanthropy is a solution offered by Islamic economics in an effort to overcome the impact of economic turmoil due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Islamic philanthropic institutions need to innovate, one of which is through digitalizing aid-raising (zakat, infaq, alms). This study aims to determine public interest in the philanthropic movement and the role of digitalization of Islamic philanthropy in reducing the impact of the economic recession in society. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the object of research is the ACT (Quick Response Action) in Surakarta. The data obtained were sourced from observations, interviews and related literature studies. Research informants came from donation institutions (ACT), donors and recipients of donations. The results showed that during the pandemic, people's motivation to share increased. This positive interest, coupled with the role of digitalizing donation payments, has made it easier for the public to pay for donations. This momentum has proven to trigger the optimization of fundraising for humanitarian aid donations in helping affected communities, so as to reduce the potential for economic turmoil by maintaining the stability of people's purchasing power.

The institutional improvement as an important issue in the 2014-2019 Ministry of Agriculture Strategic Plan (Renstra). The development of the agricultural sector that relies on natural resource management needs institutional regulation to synergize efforts that support each other in achieving goals. Institutional improvements in clove agribusiness include; upstream to downstream agribusiness institutions involving farmers, government institutions and business actors. All institutions involved have a role in clove agribusiness activities, institutional farmers included in the group are farmers whose members are clove farmers in the management of cloves and gapoktan as a combination of farmer groups. This study describes the role of farmer group institutions in the agribusiness system including upstream subsystems, farming subsystems and downstream subsystems in clove management. This research uses a case study method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection on the role of the Mayou City Farmer Group and the Aru Jaya farmer group association (Gapoktan) was obtained from the results of the interviews with the help of questionnaires or questionnaires. The role of farmer groups in clove management is presented in a descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed that the existence of Mayou City farmer group institutions had not played an active role in any clove farming activities, this was due to the inactivity and lack of role and participation of members who preferred to focus on their respective farming systems. Thus the care and activeness of a member in the Mayou City Farmers Group are caused by the needs and interests to be achieved. Then the role of Aru Jaya Gapoktan did not work as it should because since its formation, only carried out the management of horticultural cultivation, especially vegetables and have never touched on how clove cultivation as a hereditary plant has been carried out by local communities.

This study aimed to describe the role of government-community on the development in the Sedati Gede Village, Sidoarjo Regency and its supporting and inhibiting factors. This research used qualitative descriptive method. The informants in this research are Head Village (as key informan), village government, Karang Taruna and citizen. Technique data is collected by triangulation (combined), data analysis is inductive, and qualitative research results further emphasize the significance rather than generalization. The results showed that the government's role in the development of Sedatigede village was quite good and balanced. Their cooperation was mutualistic which the parties involved in understanding the position and role in rural development. The village government got the role in facilitating community and provides good guidance to the public about the purpose of the development to be carried out. Society plays a role in contributing ideas, power, and material in succession of development. Meanwhile, the supporting factors in this cooperation used human society approach and they had a good understanding of the position and its role in development. In addition, the inhibiting factor is the lack of public awareness on environmental hygiene as well as the persistence of the notion that the government was subordinate to the people and objects in development supervision.

Halal has currently become lifestyle and trend that spread out in the community. Realizing the new tendency, NetTV as one of the media industries in Indonesia presents a program called Halal Living. The program contains information about travel, halal culinary, fashion hijab, health and beauty closely related to the life of Muslim women. An impression is expected to spread a positive and acceptable message by the public. According to the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) theory, humans will produce certain behaviors if there is a certain stimulus; thus, the effect is a reaction to the stimulus. Stimulus in this research is the message delivered in program; the organism an informant who is a Muslim millennial; while the response awareness of halal lifestyle. In this research, halal living impressions will be seen from knowledge, attitude, and motivation of the informant. Informant's knowledge concerns the informant’s understanding about the impressions and messages presented. Informant’s attitudes deal with likes or dislikes regarding the impressions and messages presented. Motivation of informant concerns the desire of informants to apply the message or information delivered throughout the program. This study aimed to analyze the role of halal living show on Muslim millennial in applying halal life. It used qualitative descriptive approach. The data were collected using observation and semi-structured interview with Muslim millennial born in 1980-1995. The results reveal that Muslim millennial are interested in watching halal living program because the values it contains is well-packaged; the host is the hijaber, who is an Indonesian Muslim influencer; and messages it delivers are applicable and effective.

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of Kreasso's activities as an effort to maintain traditional arts in the era of globalization. This research is a qualitative research, with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data analysis used Miles and Huberman analysis which consisted of 3 stages: (1) Data Reduction, (2) Data Display, and (3) Conclusion Drawing/ verification. This study uses the Structural-Functional theory proposed by Alfred Reginald Radcliffe Brown. The results of this study indicate that the existence of Kreasso's activities is able to grow students' dignity and concern for the social environment, especially traditional arts. This is evidenced by the participation of students who play an active role in the structural units of Kreasso's activities. Apart from that, it cannot be separated from the existence of activity actors, such as the Surakarta City Education Office as the person in charge of Kreasso activities; the Kreasso committee which generally consists of several divisions with different functions or roles, the teacher acts as a companion to the students; students act as participants with different assignments depending on the policies and authorities of each school. Each of them finds out how it works according to the function or role according to the position and position that cooperates with one another.

Integrated Healthcare Center is carried out by the community at the village level, once a month. The purpose of implementing Posyandu is to find out the Role of Integrated Service Post Officers (Posyandu) in optimizing services to the community in Teugoh Cot Village, Pidie District, Pidie Regency and to find out the barriers of Integrated Healthcare Center in optimizing services to the community in Teugoh Cot Village, Pidie District Pidie Regency by using a qualitative descriptive approach. The informants of this study were 1 midwife, 1 nurse, 1 Posyandu officer, 2 community members. The results of the study found that, 1) The role of Poyandu officers in Teugoh Cot Village was not optimal. Integrated Healthcare Center officers come to Geuceu Iniem Village only once a month, namely the fourth month. Integrated Healthcare Center officers arrive at 10:00 until 11:30 noon. In carrying out their duties, Posyandu officers work less optimally and in serving the community less effectively, 2) Obstacles faced by Integrated Healthcare Center officers, lack of funds in implementing Integrated Healthcare Center programs, both medical equipment and others. Given that Integrated Healthcare Center is a program from the Public health center, very little funding was obtained to process the Posyandu program for the better.
