College students whom arein the process of writing theirfinal papersareexpected to deal with tougher pressures compared to other college students in general, based on both internal and external factors. Internal factors include laziness, low motivation, fear of meeting and difficultiesin adjusting ideas with their paper advisors. Whereas external factors include the minimum time of guidance, difficultiesin finding themes and titles of their papers, along with everything that would come with the writing process. If college students are not able to adjust to the difficulties, conditions such as stress, frustration, and lost of motivation are likely to occur. Therefore, college students whom are in the process of writing final papers may need resilience. Resilience is a personal quality that enablesan individual to rise when dealing with difficulties. Previous research showed that one of the incentive factors of resilience is spirituality.Spirituality is defined as a struggle to achieve goals in the experience of connectedness with the essence of life. The purpose of this research was to find the role of spirituality towards resilience in college students undertaking final paper writing. This research used a quantitative approach and adapted versions of CD-RISC (to measure resilience) and SAIL (to measure spirituality). This research involved 150 samples, obtained using accidental samplingtechnique. Regressionresults showed that spirituality has a significant role towards resilience in college students undertaking final paper writing (12%). This indicates that if college students whom are writing their final paperspossess good levels spirituality that involves connectedness with self, other people or nature as well astranscendent power, it would allow them more capability to deal with difficulties that may occur during their final paper writing process

Students, who are working on the thesis, have some difficulties caused by internal and external factors. Those problems can disrupt the completion of their thesis, such as the tendency to do academic procrastination. Increasing achievement motivation can reduce academic procrastination. This study aims to look at the role of achievement motivation (hope of success and fear of failure) in predicting academic procrastination. The study used a quantitative approach by distributing academic procrastination and achievement motivation questionnaires. The study involved 182 students who were working on a thesis as samples, which were obtained by using accidental sampling technique. Data were analyzed using multiple regressions. It showed that the hope of success and fear of failure have a significant role in predicting academic procrastination (R2 = 13.8%, F = 14,356, p <0.05). The hope of success can decrease academic procrastination, while fear of failure can improve it. Thus, interventions to reduce academic procrastination can be delivered by increasing students hope of success.

This study aimed to examine the factors that influence time performance in water transmission projects consisting of internal and external factors of time planning, application of crashing methods and PERT methods. The study uses a quantitative approach that takes the object of research on a water transmission project with a sample of 52 peoples and data analyzed with regression. The research findings show that the factors that significantly influence the time performance of the water transmission project are the external factors of time planning and PERT methods, while the internal factors for time planning and crashing methods don’t have a significant effect on time performance. Based on these findings, in the implementation of water transmission projects, the external factors and PERT methods must be a priority for improving project time performance.

The aim of the study is to investigate undergraduates’ perceptions of the comparative worth/utility of studying Business Science disciplines at a prominent South African University in terms of: (i) internal factors comprising aptitudes, values and interests; and (ii) external factors comprising job attractiveness (job prospects, earning potential, non-salary benefits and work-life balance), and (iii) university and discipline academic reputations. The study utilises a specifically designed instrument to measure internal and external factors impinging on career choice. A purposive non-random sample, consisting of 130 second and third year students in Human Resource Management (HRM) and Management, is used. Findings suggest that, while perceptions of aspects of careers, such as job and career prospects generally dominate the choice of major subjects, students studying HRM majors hold community orientated values that distinguish them from their peers. Many students are found to make choices primarily on the basis of their perceptions of ‘external factors’, rather than their interests. The findings are discussed in terms of extant theory and potential practical outcomes.

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to test the internal and external factors that have an influence on theperformance of small and medium-sized industrial enterprises. The first hypothesis, which states that internalfactors have a positive impact on business performance is not fully supported. This is because of the threevariables that are internal factors; only one variable is a business strategy that has a significant positive effect.Meanwhile, two other variables, namely the value of entrepreneurship and technical aspects and operation haveno significant effect. The second hypothesis states that external factors have a positive impact on business performancewhich is also not supported. It can be seen from the results of statistical tests that found no evidence thataspect of the economy, government policy aspects, and aspects related to the role of institutions do not have asignificant impact on business performance. Keywords: internal factors, external factors, business performance, small business enterprise

Entrepreneur day participants for 3 years in general have always increased in number, but unfortunately the number of participants in the technopreneurship business field is less than expected, in 2019 there were 3 participants out of 160 participants. This amount is relatively small so that a research is needed concerning on what factors can influence student’s motivation and interest in becoming a technopreneur in informatics students. This study used a quantitative approach to the path analysis method with independent variables, namely internal and external factors, entrepreneurship motivation as an intervention variable and technopreneur interest as the dependent variable. The research sample wad students who had taken entrepreneurship courses in the informatics study program as many as 300 students. The results showed that internal factors and external factors influenced entrepreneurial motivation by 36.4%. Entrepreneurial interest was directly influenced by internal factors and entrepreneurial motivation, while external factors did not directly affect the interests of technopreneur and needed to be through entrepreneurial motivation.

AbstractThe aim of the paper is to investigate the capacity of Polish non-governmental organisations implementing development projects in Africa. Drawing on an integrated systemic perspective of capacity that recognises internal and external factors, this paper focuses on internal factors. Using a quantitative approach to operationalise capacity, the study suggests that those non-governmental organisations implementing the Polish development policy in Africa are highly polarised and can be divided in two groups. Whilst the first group comprises two fairly large organisations with long track records and the ability to fundraise internationally, the second group consists of smaller NGOs of different capacities and working strategies. Most Polish NGOs operate within independent networks – Catholic and secular ones. The study identifies a research gap related to the lack of comprehensive study of religious organisations’ contribution to development assistance in Africa.
