This study aims to determine the effect of Macromedia Flash-based learning media to improve the numeracy ability of grade 1 students. The population in this study were 30 students of Class 1 at SDN Bina Harapan as an experimental group and 30 students at Class 1 at SDN 1 Sudimampir as a control group. This research is an experimental research using Quasi Experiment design. The technique in collecting data uses the method of observation, tests, and documentation. The analysis used is a non-parametric test using the man Whitney test. The results of the Mann Whitney analysis on the pretest data obtained the Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.532 > significance level a = 0.05 so that the initial abilities of students to count in the experimental class and the control class is the same while the results of the Mann Whitney analysis on posttest data obtained Asymp values. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.005 < of the significance level a = 0.05 so that the final abilities of students are different. So, Macromedia Flash 8 based learning media significant influence on elementary students' numeracy skills

In this experimental study, the effect of the peace education program on empathy tendencies of fourth-grade students was examined. The research was designed in an experimental design. In the 2016-2017 academic year, all of the fourth grades (eight classes) of Şirinköy Elementary School in Gölcük province of Kocaeli were determined as the experimental group, and all of the fourth grades (seven classes) of Barbaros Elementary School were determined as the control group. The sample of the study included 275 fourth grade students. One hundred thirty-nine of these students are in the experimental group where the program is applied, and 136 students are in the control group where the program is not implemented. The peace education program was implemented for a period of 14 weeks, one lesson per week. SPSS 21.0 program was used to analyze the quantitative data. The analysis of the data was based on .05 significance level. When the findings obtained in the study are examined, it is seen that peace education is an effective program in increasing the empathy tendencies of fourth-grade students.

The tolerance attitude of Indonesian people today are beginning to fade, along with the increasing cases of intolerance in our society, including in the education field. Issues such as abuse, fights, and bullying are examples of intolerant attitudes that are increasing nowadays. Education at the elementary school level is the foundation for the formation of children's character so that at this level, knowledge is essential to teach tolerance. One method that is proven effective for instilling character education is storytelling using Wayang Kancil. So, this method needs to test for its effectiveness in establishing a tolerance for elementary students. The purpose of this study is to find out whether storytelling using Wayang Kancil can improve tolerance for elementary students. This study used a quasi-experimental method, which involved two elementary schools as an experimental group and a control group. The storyteller gives the stimulus of storytelling using Wayang Kancil. Tolerance measurements in subjects were carried out both before and after the administration of treatment. Measurements are made by providing a scale of tolerance. This study using a non-parametric statistical analysis Mann-Whitney U Test. This test is to find out whether there are differences in patience in the experimental group and the control group, namely pretest, and posttest. The results showed significant differences between tolerance in the experimental group and the control group (p = 0.008, α <0.05). Tolerance attitude in the experimental group after being given the storytelling, the results were higher than the control group Sikap toleransi pada Bangsa Indonesia dewasa ini mulai memudar, seiring meningkatnya kasus-kasus intoleransi di tengah-tengah masyarakat, termasuk pada dunia pendidikan. Kasus-kasus seperti perundungan, perkelahian, dan tawuran pelajar merupakan contoh sikap intoleran yang semakin marak terjadi. Pendidikan pada jenjang Sekolah Dasar (SD) merupakan pondasi pembentukan karakter anak, sehingga pada jenjang ini sangat perlu diberikan pendidikan mengenai toleransi. Salah satu metode yang terbukti efektif untuk menanamkan pendidikan karakter adalah dongeng menggunakan Wayang Kancil. Untuk itu, metode ini pun perlu diuji efektivitasnya dalam menamamkan sikap toleransi pada siswa SD. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah dongeng dengan media Wayang Kancil mampu meningkatkan sikap toleransi pada siswa SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen, yang melibatkan dua kelas dari dua SD sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Stimulus berupa dongeng menggunakan media Wayang Kancil diberikan oleh pendongeng. Pengukuran toleransi pada subjek dilakukan baik sebelum dan sesudah pemberian perlakuan. Pengukuran dilakukan dengan memberikan skala sikap toleransi. Pengujian terhadap hipotesis penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik non parametrik Mann-Whitney U Test. Pengujian ini untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan sikap toleransi pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, yaitu pretest, dan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara sikap toleransi pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol (p=0,008, ?<0,05). Sikap toleransi pada kelompok eksperimen setelah diberikan dongeng, hasilnya lebih tinggi dibanding kelompok kontrol.

This article shows the alternative learning methodology to stimulate the holistic side of students&rsquo; minds to achieve the increment of the innovation skill, managing the creative competencies and level of stress. The present research study is pre-experimental research designed with prior and posterior measurement, longitudinal, explanatory, and co-relational, with the main objective to demonstrate the effect of the holistic innovation coefficient of the beneficiaries of the program &ldquo;Impulsa Peru&rdquo;. Program Results: It has been concluded that the experimental group is significant over the control group. Therefore, the holistic innovation methodology had an impact on the experimental group. Conclusions: Hypothesis 1 is fulfilled in which it is affirmed that the holistic innovation methodology has a positive impact on the level of coefficient of holistic innovation of the student mentors of the women recyclers of the program Impulsa Peru with a significance level of 0.05%.

This research and development aims to produce a locomotor-based basic motion learning model for elementary school children. Specifically this study aims to: 1) Produce products based on locomotor basic motion learning models for elementary school children; 2) Test the effectiveness of locomotor-based basic motion learning models for elementary school children. The research method used in this research is the research and development method of Borg and Gall. Pretest and Posttest Exploitation Tests aim to find out whether there is an increase. The research conclusion is stated to be significant if t count> t table at 5% significance level and p <0.05. The average pretest score of the experimental group was 6.15 and the average posttest score was 9.95. so it has increased in the locomotor base motion of 3,800, t count> t table at 5% significant level (33,230> 2,042) and has a p value of 0.00 <0,05 which means it can be concluded that there is a significant increase in the results of basic motion in the experimental group . Pretest t test and posttest control aims to find out whether there is an increase. The research conclusion is stated to be significant if t count> t table at 5% significance level and p <0.05. The average value of the pretest of the control group was 6.1 and the average posttest score was 7.75 so that it increased in the locomotor basic motion of 1.65, t count> t table at a significant level of 5% (9,927> 2,042) and had a p value of 0,000 <0,05 which means it can be concluded that there is a significant increase in the results of basic motion in the control group. Furthermore, to see the effect of treatment based on its significance is to use a statistical test using a mean difference test of two independent meanings. Analysis of independent-sample t-test on the posttest of the experimental class and posttest of the control group aims to find out whether there is a significant difference in posttest scores in the experimental group and the control group. The research conclusion is stated to be significant if t count> t table at 5% significance level and p <0.05. Summary of posttest test, it is known that the average locomotor basic motion of the experimental group is 9.95 and the average locomotor base motion of the control group is 7.75. So that it can be concluded that the average locomotor basic motion of the experimental group 2.5 is better than the control group. It is known that t count is 9,515 with a significant 0.002. T table obtained from db 78 at a significant level of 5% is 1.671 so the value of t count> t table (9,515> 1,671). And it was concluded that there was a significant and effective influence for elementary school children.   Keywords: basic, scientific motion

The study purpose. This study aims to develop a volleyball fundamental movement learning model with a game-centered approach and test its effectiveness in improving the volleyball learning outcomes of elementary school students Materials and methods. The research method used is research and development (R&D) which adopts the10 steps of Borg and Gall R&D model. The data analysis techniques used in this study were qualitative and quantitative. This study used a pretest-posttest control group design to determine the initial abilities of the experimental and the control group (n = 40). The significance test of the learning model effectiveness used a t-test. Normality test was carried out before the data analysis on the results of the experimental group and the control group improvement in the fundamental movement of volleyball with the significance level = 0.05. Results. The results of this study indicate a significant improvement for the experimental group data (0.97) and the control group data (0.42). Because the significance value of the two groups is more than 0.05, the overall data for the study group is normally distributed. The learning model effectiveness test results show the value of t-count -71.065. Conclusions. The fundamental movement improvement of the experimental group is higher or more effective than that of the control group. So it can be concluded that the volleyball fundamental movement learning model with a game-centered approach is effective and efficient to be given to elementary school students.

The use of the current method of learning very big influence on the growth and development of students' creativity and interest for all subjects to be taught, especially in the use of partograf. From interviews to the 10 students of IV semester Prodi Midwifery (D-III) Kadiri University is known that 4 (40%) of students said it was understood, 4 (40%) of other students say they are confused and 2 (20%) of them said that he was a student not familiar with partograf. This shows the lack of understanding of students in filling partograph. The research objective is to determine the effectiveness of the use of learning methods for skills training simulation with filling partograph the second semester students in Midwifery (D-III) Kadiri University Faculty of Health Sciences in 2015. The research design used is pre experiment with design Static Group Comparison/Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population studied were all students of the second semester in Midwifery (D-III) Faculty of Health Sciences University of Kadiri numbered 50 students and sampling techniques Federer totaled 32 students. This is a research instrument partograph sheet. Results of the study were analyzed using the Mann Whitney test with a significance level of 0.05 were used.The results showed 7 respondents (46.7%) are adept at using partograf with simulation teaching methods and 6 respondents (40.0%) are adept at using partograph with practice learning methods. Data were analyzed by Mann Whitney test obtained ρ = 0.965; α = 0.05 means that H0 is accepted and H1 rejected. This means there is no difference in the effective use of learning methods for skills training simulation with partograph filling. Based on the results of this study are expected to choose the method of learning as a learning method in charging partograph because both methods equally effective.; Keywords: simulation methods, drilling methods, partograph filling

This study attempts to discover the effect of applying Small Group Work Strategy on students’ achievement in writing procedure text. It was conducted by using experimental research design. The population of this research was the nineth (IX) grade students of SMP N 1 Padang Bolak Julu which consists of 3 parallel classes with the total number of students is 90. The samples of this research were taken by random sampling through lottery technique. The result was class IX1 consisted of 30 students became the experimental group and class IX3 consisted of 30 students became the control group. The experimental group was taught by Small Group Work Strategy while the control group was taught by using individual work strategy. The instrument was used to collect the data was writing procedure text. After the data were analyzed, it was found that the value of t-observed was 3.37 with the degree of freedom (df) = 58 at the level significance 0.05. it means that t-observed was higher than t-table (3.37 > 2.00. Therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) is reected and the hypothesis alternative (Ha) is accepted.Key words : Small Group Work Strategy, Writing Procedure Text.

This study attempts to discover the effect of applying Personal Experiences Strategy on students’ achievement in writing narrative text. It was conducted by using experimental research design. The population of this research was the tenth (X) grade students of SMA N 6 Padangsidimpuan  which consists of 10 parallel classes with the total number of students is 64. The samples of this research were taken by random sampling through lottery technique. The result was class X1 consisted of 32 students became the experimental group and class X2 consisted of 32 students became the control group. The experimental group was taught by Personal Experiences Strategy while the control group was taught by using Big group work strategy. The instrument was used to collect the data was writing narrative text. After the data were analyzed, it was found that the value of t-observed was 4.25 with the degree of freedom (df) = 62 at the level significance 0.05. it means that t-observed was higher than t-table (4.25 > 1.997. The result of this study showed that teaching narrative text by using personal experiences strategy was higher than that by big group work. Keywords : Using Personal Experiences Strategy. This study was conducted to know the effect of applying Peer Review Strategy on the students’ achievement in writing descriptive paragraph. It was conducted by using experimental research method. This research design was conducted pre-test, post test in experimental and control group. The population of this research was the eight (VIII) grade students of SMP IT IQRA’ Medan. The sample of this research was taken by lottery technique. They were in class VIII-1 by experimental group and the class VIII-2 by control group. The experimental group was taught by using Peer Review Strategy while the control group was given no treatment. The instrument used to collect the data was writing essay test. The data were analyzed by using t-test formula. The result showed that the value of t-observed was higher than the value of t-table. (3,55 > 2,05 (a = 0.05)) with the degree of freedom (df) = 28. It means that there was a significant effect of applying Peer Review Strategy on the students’ achievement in writing descriptive paragraph. So, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted.
