EMS (Call number: 112 in Turkey) encompasses services provided by professional healthcare teams in case of diseases and injuries emerging acutely, accessed expediently following the event, using specialized equipment as necessary. The main purpose of this study is to determine the difficulties faced by 112 pre-hospital healthcare workers (HCWs) in the transfer of patients to hospital, during the COVID-19 pandemic period, and to examine ways to cope with these difficulties, with a case study method that examines unique cases. The study group of the research consists of Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) (n = 15; 30.6%), paramedics (n = 19; 38.8%) and doctors (n = 15; 30.6%). The forty-nine participants who comprise the study group were selected from ‘HCWs who worked in the ambulance service during the transportation of patients with COVID-19 to hospital’. Based on the narratives of the participants, two main themes were determined as difficulties experienced and strategies of coping with these difficulties. Under the theme of difficulties experienced, three subthemes and a total of thirty-one codes were created as problems originating from society, the system and the employee himself. The theme of the strategies used to cope with the difficulties experienced was determined under three subthemes; professional equipment and personal precautions, professional measures and system support. A total of twelve codes were created. The pandemic period has been a time when boundaries and durability have been questioned. The experience obtained during this period is a great knowledge base for future global and mass epidemics, attacks and disasters.

One example of the growing information technology today is mobile learning, mobile learning which refers to mobile technology as a learning medium. Mobile learning is learning that is unique for each student to access learning materials anywhere, anytime. Mobile learning is suitable as a model of learning for the students to make it easier to get an understanding of a given subject, such as math is pretty complicated and always using formulas. The design method that I use is the case study method, namely, learning, searching and collecting data related to the study. While the development of engineering design software application programs that will be used by the author is the method of Rapid Application Development (RAD), which consists of 4 stages: Requirements Planning Phase, User Design Phase, Construction Phase and Phase Cotuver.

Women’s empowerment has been at the centre of research focus for many decades. Extant literature examined the process, outcome and various challenges. Some claimed substantial success, while others contradicted with evidence of failure. But the success remains a matter of debate due to lack of empirical evidence of actual empowerment of women around the world. The current study aimed to address this gap by taking a case study method. The study critically evaluates 20 cases carefully sampled to include representatives from the entire country of Bangladesh. The study demonstrates popular beliefs about microfinance often misguide even the borrowers and they start living in a fabricated feeling of empowerment, facing real challenges to achieve true empowerment in their lives. The impact of this finding is twofold; firstly there is a theoretical contribution, where the definition of women’s empowerment is proposed to be revisited considering findings from these cases. And lastly, the policy makers at governmental and non-governmental organisations, and multinational donor agencies need to revise their assessment tools for funding.

The development of the pharmaceutical industry is one of the priority tasks of our state, aimed at providing the population of the Russian Federation with modern safe and effective medicines. The solution to this problem is impossible without the formation of a highly qualified personnel potential that meets the demand and expectations of the pharmaceutical market and society as a whole. In this regard, in the system of training of pharmacists in recent years, quite dynamic and flexible transformations have been taking place, dictated by the urgent needs of domestic health care. It should be noted that in the process of implementing this educational standard, the competency-based approach to organizing the process of training modern pharmacists comes to the fore. One of the effective tools for the formation of professional competencies in various educational fields is the case study method. Case study is a training method based on the analysis of real situations from various areas of professional activity and contributing to the development of specialist competency. The competency-based orientation of the case study method is in line with modern ideas about the organization of the educational process for the training of pharmacists. The case study method is actively used in the process of teaching disciplines of the curriculum of the Federal State Budget Educational Establishment of Higher Education KubGMU of the Ministry of Health of Russia, specialty 33.05.01 Pharmacy. Examples of case study tasks as educational technology are presented in the work programs of the curriculum disciplines of the specialty 33.05.01 Pharmacy developed at the Department of Pharmacy. Depending on the content of the taught discipline, these tasks simulate a particular situation from the professional activities of pharmacists, offered to students for a comprehensive analysis and evaluation. The use of this educational technology contributes to the integration of knowledge, skills acquired in the learning process and their competency-based profiling in accordance with the current level of development of domestic health care.

The scientific research works concerning the field of mechanical engineering such as, manufacturing machine slate, soil tillage, sowing and harvesting based on the requirements for the implementation of agrotechnical measures for the cultivation of plants in its transportation, through the development of mastering new types of high-performance and energy-saving machines in manufacturing machine slate, creation of multifunctional machines, allowing simultaneous soil cultivation, by means of several planting operations, integration of agricultural machine designs are taken into account in manufacturing of the local universal tractor designed basing on high ergonomic indicators. For this reason, this article explores the use of case studies in teaching agricultural terminology by means analyzing the researches in machine building. Case study method was firstly used in 1870 in Harvard University of Law School in the United States. Also in the article, we give the examples of agricultural machine-building terms, teaching terminology and case methods, case study process and case studies method itself. The research works in the field of mechanical engineering and the use of case studies in teaching terminology have also been analyzed. In addition, the requirements for the development of case study tasks are given in their practical didactic nature. We also give case study models that allow us analyzing and evaluating students' activities.
