The purpose of this study was to determine the role of school cooperatives in fostering entrepreneurial spirit among students at Vocational High School Number 1 Gianyar. This type of research was descriptive research, the data collection instruments was using questionnaires and documentation. The populations in this study were students in marketing major at Vocational High School Number 1 Gianyar with the amount of 208 students with a total sample of 137 people using random sampling techniques. This research used descriptive analysis to analyze data. The results of data analysis showed that the role of school cooperatives in terms of the dimensions of forming good and independent rescue practices was in the category of very strong roles, in terms of the dimensions helping in realizing an atmosphere of direct training to practice techniques management and trade techniques in the category of very strong roles, in terms of having the characteristics and elements of democracy among the younger generation in the category very strong role, in terms of the dimensions of promoting cooperation attitude and mutual assistance to help each other were in the category of very strong role, and in terms of the dimension of growing leadership talent among the younger generation scores 4,109 with the percentage score of 85.6% was very strong category.

Drugs can lead to crimes such as theft, rape, and murder. The President of Indonesia has declare that Indonesia is in an emergency of drugs abuse. The largest drug users occurred in students with the highest increase at the senior high school level with a percentage of 63.34% or 24,326 students. Behavior of drug user is the result of all human experience and interaction with the environment manifested in the form of knowledge. This research was conducted to know the description of the students' knowledge about drugs in senior high school X Kepanjen district Malang Regency. This research is descriptive research with Cross sectional approach and the quantity of respondents was 54 respondents. Descriptive analysis results show that the majority of respondents have less knowledge with the number of 20 respondents (37%) because the environmental factors and less active role of Stakeholder, especially in the socialization of the knowledge about drugs. Conclusion of this research is the majority of respondents have less knowledge about drugs.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan alat peraga dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar matematika materi pecahan pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri IKIP 1 Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, angket, dokumentasi, dan wawancara, jumlah sampel sebanyak 45 siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif untuk memperoleh informasi tentang persepsi siswa terhadap peranan alat peraga dalam pembelajaran matematika materi pecahan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa, (1) rata-rata siswa kelas V SD Negeri IKIP 1 Makassar setuju jika alat peraga mempunyai peranan dalam pembelajaran matematika materi pecahan, (2) persentase skor tingkat kesulitan siswa kelas V SD Negeri IKIP 1 Makassar dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal pecahan sebelum menggunakan alat peraga sebanyak 60%  siswa sulit menyelesaikan soal-soal pecahan dan setelah menggunakan alat peraga sebanyak 64,44% siswa dengan mudah menyelesaikan soal-soal pecahan.AbstractThe study was aimed at determining the use of teaching media in overcoming the mathematical learning difficulties of fractions at the fifth grade students of IKIP 1 Makassar State Elementary School. The study was descriptive research by employing tests, questionnaires, documentation, and interviews as data collection techniques, a total sample of 45 students. Descriptive analysis was utilized to obtain information on students’ perceptions of the role of teaching media in mathematical learning of fraction materials. The results of the study obtained, that: (1) the fifth grade students of IKIP 1 Makassar State Elementary School on the average agreed that the teaching media had a role in the mathematical learning of fractional material, (2) the percentage score of the difficulty level of the fifth grade students of IKIP 1 Makassar State Elementary School in overcoming the fraction problems before using the teaching media was 60% and 64.44% of students found it difficult and easy to solve fractionquestions respectively.

Kajian ini dimaksudkan untuk menentukan peran kelas kewirausahaan dalam menanamkan jiwa kewirausahaan, nilai, dan pengalaman siswa SMK Tata Boga dalam menyiapkan lulusan yang memiliki jiwa mandiri yang saat ini menjadi tantangan dalam pendidikan, yaitu antara lain: meningkatnya jumlah dan kualitas pendidikan kejuruan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan global dan lokal, dan menghasilkan tenaga kerja yang kreatif. Tujuan yang menarik adalah 70% lulusan SMK dapat bekerja setiap tahun. Hal ini memerlukan perlakuan. fasilitas, dukungan, dan upaya-upaya untuk mencapai kewirausahaan untuk mencapai kualitas lulusan sekolah kejuruan sesuai dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja. Progrm ini harus didisain berdasarkan kurikulum yang didisain dan dikembangkan kebutuhan stakeholders. Kelas kewirausahaan menerapkan kurikulum terintegrasi ke dalam mata pelajaran produktif. Dalam kelas kewirausahaan diharapkan dapat lebih efektif dalam menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan dan kemandirian sehingga lulusan akan lebih memiliki jiwa yang bebas di dalam setiap situasi. THE ROLES OF ENTERPRENEURSHIP CLASS FOR VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL OF TOURISMAbstractThis study aimed to determine the role of the entrepreneurial class in cultivating the entrepreneurial spirit, values and skills of SMK culinary student, to prepare graduates who have the spirit of independence as a responde to the current challenges including quantity and quality of vocational education to meet local, national, and global needs. The interesting objective is that about 70% of graduates shold be employed. In addition SMK generally provides entrepreneurship training in services. It need treatment, facilitatation, and encouragement of learners in order to become independence, responsible, creative, innovative, sporty, and entrepreneurship efforts to achieve the quality of vocational education graduates that meet the need of work place. Entrepreneurial class implements integrated subjects of vocational entrepreneurship. The entrepreneurial class is expected to be more effective in growing entrepreneurship spirit and independence of the prospective graduates of culinary tourism program.

This study examined the nature and amount of feedback that more successful and less successful high school varsity volleyball coaches gave to their starting and nonstarting volleyball players. Two of the four coaches studied were considered more successful and two were considered less successful, based on previous regular season win-loss percentages. Players of all the coaches (N=41) were also used as subjects and identified as having either a starting or nonstarting role on the team. All subjects were observed on three occasions for 30 minutes per observation during regular season practice. The Cole Descriptive Analysis System (Cole-DAS) was used to observe coach augmented feedback as it was given to individual players in response to skilled performance. A 2 × 2 multivariate analysis of variance was used to describe the effects of (a) success of the coach, (b) role of the player, and (c) both success of the coach and role of the player on the dependent variables of coach augmented feedback. Results indicated that successful coaches varied considerably from less successful coaches in the types of feedback given to their players. Starting players were also found to receive significantly more audio, audiovisual, and immediate terminal feedback than nonstarting players.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) peran DUDI dalam mendorong produk kebijakan pendidikan Pemda Kota Mataram dalam mengembangkan SMK berbasis kearifan lokal; (2) implementasi penyelenggaraan kebijakan pendidikan SMK yang sesuai dengan kearifan lokal; dan (3) peran DUDI dalam pengembangan SMK. Informan kunci pada penelitian adalah Kepala Dinas Dikmen sub-bagian kepala seksi kurikulum, Kepala Sekolah, Wakasek Humas Industri, Pembimbing Industri, dan Siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) peran DUDI dalam mendorong kebijakan Pemda terkait pengembangan SMK berbasis kearifan lokal belum memadai; (2) implementasi kebijakan Pemda, antara lain: (a) monitoring dan evaluasi, (b) menyediakan unit gedung baru, (c) membuka kompetensi keahlian baru, (d) pemberian dana, (e) mengadakan Gebyar SMK se-Kota Mataram; dan (3) peran DUDI dalam pengembangan SMK antara lain: (a) penyelenggaraan prakerin siswa berjalan dengan baik. b) industri sebagai tempat pemagangan guru, c) industri terlibat dalam uji kompetensi siswa tingkat akhir dan tempat menyalurkan lulusan, d) belum ada kerja sama terkait penyediaan sarana dan prasarana, dan e) pengembangan kurikulum dalam bentuk workshop kurikulum. Kata kunci: peran DUDI, penyelenggaraan SMK, kearifan lokal THE ROLE OF BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL (VHS) BASED ON LOCAL WISDOM IN THE CITY OF MATARAM Abstract This research aims to know: (1) the role of business and industry in encouraging the product education policy of the local government in Mataram City for developing vocaational high school (VHS) based on local wisdom; (2) the implementation of VHS education policy with an appropriate local wisdom; and (3) the role of business and industry in developing VHS. The key informants in this research were the Head of Secondary Education Curriculum Sub-section, Principal, Vice Principal of Industry Public Relations, Industry Counsellors, and students. The data were collected by observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique included data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: (1) the role of business and industry in encouraging the regional government policy related to VHS development based on local wisdom had not been adequate; (2) the implementation of regional government policy were among others: (a) monitoring and evaluation, (b) providing a new building unit, (c) opening new expertise competencies, (d) providing funds, (e) conducting Gebyar SMK in the city of Mataram; and (3) the roles of business and industry in the development of VHS were among others: (a) the implementation of the students’ industrial practice ran well, (b) the industry as the place for teachers’ apprenticeship, (c) the industry was involved in students’ competency test at the end of the students’ study and as an institute which would recruit the graduates, d) there had not been any cooperation related to the provision of facilities and infrastructure, and e) curriculum development in the form of a curriculum workshop. This research aims to determine the extent of the influence of family environment, peers, and learning achievement on the interest in continuing education to higher education in the XI class of accounting skills competencies in Padang City Vocational School simultaneously and partially. There are two Vocational Schools namely Padang State Vocational High School 2 and Padang State Vocational High School 3. This means that the population in this study was all students of class XI Accounting of Vocational Schools 2 Padang, amounting to 121 people and Vocational Schools 3 Padang totaling 83 people. From a total of 204 populations, the sampling method used was proportional random sampling technique with a total sample of 127 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. For data analysis methods used are descriptive and associative analysis and hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study showed that there were influences on the family environment, peers, and learning achievement towards the interest in continuing to higher education simultaneously at 24.8%. Partially the family environment influences the interest in continuing to higher education. Whereas peers do not influence the interest in continuing their education to college. Likewise, for learning achievement does not affect the interest in continuing to higher education.Keyword: family environment, peers, learning achievement

ABSTRACT Vocational High School (SMK) S 8 Grakarsa Bengkulu which is located on Jl. Adam Malik Km 8, Kel. Sido Mulyo, Kec. Gading Cempaka, Bengkulu City. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The data collection technique in this study was by means of Observation, Interview, Questionnaire and Documentation, when teaching students the teacher went through (3) stages, namely the initial, core and closing stages of using learning media, knowing the concept of learning media, who used learning media, the stages of making learning media and internal and external factors that were found when video-based learning media were applied, in the implementation of learning in the room, students were seen to be active and enthusiastic in participating in learning because the teacher used video-based media by sending videos via android with an attractive display and media on when learning takes place, so that learning is interesting and good.

This research aims to evaluate the implementation of the competency certification program through the First-Party Professional Certification Institute (LSP P-1) at SMK N 2 Klaten.  The evaluation of the implementation of competency certification program reviewed on 4 aspects e.g. : (1) context; (2) input; (3) process; and (4) product. This research is evaluation research based on CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, Product). This research was conducted at SMK N 2 Klaten which already had an LSP P-1license. The respondents were the principal, LSP chairman, secretary, treasurer, certification manager, chairman of the scheme committee, the competency test venue (TUK), and assessors. Questionary were used to celleted data in this study. The data was analyzed with the descriptive analysis. The result shows that: (1) the implementation of competency certification test through the LSP P-1 at State Vocational High School 2 Klaten in the context aspect is classified as very appropriate (83.93%), it is related to the policies and the goals of competency certification test; (2) in the input aspect is classified as very appropriate (88.82%), which meet the criteria of the assessor and the completeness of assessment tools; (3) in the process aspect is classified as very appropriate (88.59%), which leads to the suitability of the implementation procedures; and (4) in the product aspect is classified as very high (78,4%), for the achievement of competency certification test results and competency certificates.
