The purposes of this research are to analyze the income of each type of vegetable farming (chilli, tomato, chicory, cucumber and cabbage), the income based on the various cropping pattern of vegetables, the cropping pattern which gives the highest income. This research was conducted with a survey method in Sumberejo Subdistrict of Tanggamus Regency and the location was selected purposively. Respondents were 53 vegetable farmers taken using Stratified Random Sampling method and determined the allocation of the proportion of the sample according to the cropping pattern. The analytical method used was farm income analysis by Rahim and Hastuti (2008). The results showed that chilli, tomato, chicory, cucumber, and cabbage farming are profitable because of the values of R/C ratio > 1. The income of vegetable farming cropping pattern 1, 2, 3 in a row are Rp203,826,644.43; Rp221,730,908.34 and Rp253,833,536.82 so that the cropping pattern that most profitable for farmers is vegetable farming cropping pattern 3 (chili-tomato-cabbage) with the value of R/C of 3.98.  Key words: cropping pattern, income, vegetable farming

The aim of this study was analyze the main catch and by catch of bagan rambo in Lasolo Bay of Konawe Utara regency. This study was done about 2 months (on January–February) 2019 by survey method. The taking of fish samples was carried out as many as 30 trips using bagan rambo by the sampling method was stratified random sampling. All samples obtained were separated by type then measurements of the length and weight of each species were caught. The composition of the overall catch species as many as 37.881 individuals consisted of 50 species, each of 46 species of fish from 24 families and 2 groups of non fish each of 3 species of molluscs and 1 species of crustaceans. The main catch was dominate by anchovy (Stolephorus commersoni) as much as 73.83%, by catch useable as much as 26.13% consisting of 45 species, and by catch discarded as much as 0.026% consisting of 3 pufferfish species (Tetraodon sp.).Key words: catch composition, main catch, by catch, bagan rambo

This research was aimed to estimate income from rubber farming folk and envistige rubber farmer buying power through term of trade indicators.  This research is conducted at Village Air Sekamanak District Ketahun North Bengkulu. Eighty nine labourfarmers were selected using Stratified Random Sampling method. The result of this research found that the farmers  terms of trade is 1.43 in May and 1.45 in June. These results indicate that in the month May and June of rubber farmers in the study area during the month were categorized into levels of prosperity.Average farm income of smallholder rubber farmers in the study area is Rp 1,945,690.37 Ut in May, while the average income in June amounted to Rp 1,945,117.34 Ut.  Keywords: terms of Trade, Smallholder labours, rubber

This research aims to analyze income farming and factors affecting production of red chili in Trimulyo Tegineneng Pesawaran Regency.  This research uses a survey method.  Location of this research is chosen purposively in Trimulyo. The respondents are 60 red chili farmers taken by using a simple random sampling method. The income farming is determined using revenue cost ratio, while factors of production are analyzed by using Cobb Douglass. The results of the study showed that the income per hectare  over cash costs obtained by farmers was IDR34,416,181.43 with R/C of 2.18 and income per hectare over total costs amounted to IDR24,520,886.39 with R/C of 1.63. Factors affecting production of red chili are land, seeds, KNO3 fertilizer, and pesticide. The R/C value that is greater than one means that red chili farming in Trimulyo Village Tegineneng Subdistrict Pesawaran Regency is profitable and feasible to be cultivated. Key words: income, production, red chili

This research aims to analyze the efficiency of marketing channels and margins of melinjo chips in Sukamaju village, Teluk Betung Timur Subdistrict, Bandar Lampung City. The research is conducted by survey method, in which location is determined purposively.  Respondents of this research, producers of melinjo chips in Sukamaju village of Teluk Betung Timur, Bandar Lampung, are drawn by simple random sampling method.  This research uses analysis method of marketing channel, margin producer's share analysis, and price transmission elasticity. The results of this study indicated that there were two types of marketing channels in Sukamaju village.  The first channel was producer to consumer, and secondly was producer to retailer then consumer.  The marketing of melinjo chips in Sukamaju village had a margin percentage and a market share of 42.00% and 58.00% on channel I; of 33.33% and 66.67% on channel II respectively. Marketing of melinjo chips had been economically efficient with competing margin percentage, but based on Price Transmission Elasticity (Et) marketing system was not efficient with Et by 1,13 (Et >1).Key words: efficiency, margin, marketing channels,  melinjo chips

This study is aimed to determine and analyze the effect of the implementation of motivation and culture on the employees productivity at Huta Padang estate of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Asahan Regency North Sumatera. This research method uses a quantitative approach, the type of research is a survey. The sample was determined by stratified random sampling method, 95 people. The data collection through questionnaires. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that partially and simultaneously, the implementation of motivation and culture had a positive and significant effect on the employess productivity at Huta padang estate of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Asahan Regency North Sumatera. The determination coefficient value of 0.882, indicates that the influence of the implementation of motivation and culture on the employess productivity of Huta Padang estate of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Asahan Regency North Sumatera is 88.2%. The culture has more dominant influence on the employees produktivity at  Huta Padang estate of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Asahan Regency North Sumatera, with a direct influence of 73,2%.

The objective of the present study is to investigate the relationship between managers’ professionalism and (technical, human, and perceptual) skills in managers of Iran Poly Akril Company. The research is an applied one in terms of objectives, and a descriptive-correlational in terms of method. The population includes all experts working in the company in 2012 as 240 individuals among who 144 participants were selected using the stratified random sampling method proportionate to the population size as the sample size. The data collection instruments were two researcher-made questionnaires of Managers’ skills containing 22 items and with the reliability coefficient as 0.96, and Professionalism containing 28 items and the reliability coefficient as 0.95. Their validity was investigated and confirmed by professors and experts of management. Analyzing data was conducted at the two level of descriptive statistics (frequency, mean, SD, and presentation of tables and charts) and inferential statistics (one sample t-test, correlation coefficient, regression coefficient, ANOVA, and F-test).

Abstract This study aims to determine and analyze the GAP components that have implemented by red fruit farmers. The method used in the study was a survey method of plant cultivation. The multistage random sampling method used to taking sampling sampling. The area selected for the study area uses the land ownership startification. Each village was randomly sampled as many as 10 farmers, the total number of which was 30 sampled farmers. The results showed that the farmers in the Taniwel District had not fully implemented the GAP guidelines in the cultivation of red fruit plants which included seeding methods, maintenance and post-harvest processing. This is due to the absence of outreach or counseling from the relevant Dinas regarding the GAP guidelines for red fruit plants.

AbstrakUsaha peternakan itik alabio di Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara belum berkembang sebagaimana mestinya ditunjukkan 80 persen peternak kepemilikannya dibawah 500 ekor. Pengembangan agribisnis itik alabio dengan  memperhatikan semua subsistem menjadi penting agar diperoleh tingkat produksi dan pendapatan maksimal.Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji keterkaitan antar subsistem agribisnis itik alabio petelur terhadap produksi dan pendapatan peternak. Penelitian menggunakan metode survey, penentuan sampel peternak memakai teknik stratified random sampling, sedangkan sampel pedagang, breeder dan pembesaran melalui teknik purposive. Hipotesis diuji dengan analisis multivariat, uji F dan uji T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengembangan agribisnis melalui peningkatan produksi dapat dilakukan dengan memperhatikan sumber bibit, harga kandang, jumlah pakan, jumlah tenaga kerja dan biaya pemasaran, sedangkan melalui peningkatan pendapatan dengan memperhatikan sumber bibit, harga bibit, harga kandang, jumlah pakan dan biaya pemasaran. Secara bersama-sama semua subsistem menentukan namun secara parsial subsistem lembaga penunjang tidak menentukan tingkat produksi dan pendapatan peternak.Kata kunci : Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara, itik alabio, pengembangan gribisnis.AbstractAlabio duck farming businesses in Hulu Sungai Utara district have not yet been developed as it should be, it indicated that 80 percent of the owners farmers just owned under 500 ducks. Alabio duck agribusiness development with attention to all subsystems become important in order to obtain the maximum level of production and income. This research aimed to examine the linkages between agribusiness subsystems of Alabio duck layers . Research used a survey method with stratified random sampling technique, while the sample traders, breeders and growers by using purposive. The hypothesis testing analysis used multivariate analysis, F test and T test. The results showed, agribusiness development through increased production can be done with the source of female ducks, cages prices, the amount of feed, the amount of labor and marketing costs. While through increasing of revenue could be fulfilled by female duck sources, female duck price, price of the cage, the amount of feed and marketing costs. Together of all subsystems were crucial but in partial subsystems supporting institutions did not determine the level of production and income of the farmers. <p><strong><em> </em></strong></p><pre>ABSTRACT</pre><pre>               Considering the importance of arabica coffee commodity for farmers, a clear picture of arabica coffee marketing channel from producer farmer to final consumer (Merchant) is needed so that the profit can be equally distributed. This study aims to determine the marketing channel, margin, marketing efficiency of arabica coffee in the village of Sitinjo II, Sitinjo Subdistrict, Dairi Regency. The method used is proportionate stratified random sampling as much as 50 farmers while collecting merchant samples taken by census method that is as much as 5 traders and for the factory is taken as many as 2 factories with Purposive sampling method. The results showed that there are two channels of arabica coffee marketing at the location of research that is, the first channel starts from the farmer to the factory in the village Sitinjo II Sitinjo District. The second channel starts from the farmers, the collecting merchant proceeds to the factory in the village of Sitinjo II, Sitinjo Subdistrict. The biggest marketing margin is RP.4.000 found on channel II and the more efficient channel is on channel I with an efficiency value of 7.51%.</pre><p> </p>
