Indonesia is one of the world's largest coffee producers, it can be seen from the amount of exports from Indonesia for coffee export. In the past few years, several companies have carried out massive expansion to get Gayo coffee from Central Aceh Regency and Bener Meriah. The purpose of this study was to analysis what factors influence the volume of Gayo coffee exports from Central Aceh Regency to the United States. The data collection method using the documentary method is the data obtained and viewed by the document in accordance with the variables in the research model in the period 2013-2017. Data collected is secondary data. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression with the method used is the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) Method. From the research using multiple linear regression analysis obtained that variables which have significant effect to the export demand of Gayo Coffee from the United States is Global Coffee Prices. While the production of domestic Gayo coffee, the exchange rate of dollars against the rupiah and the price of foreign Gayo coffee are not significant to the demand for export of Gayo coffee to the United States.

The purposes of this study are to determine the hydroponic vegetable marketing channels and efficiency level of hydroponic vegetables’ marketing channels in KUTP Hidrotani Sejahtera Suka Maju Village, Sunggal District, Deli Serdang Regency. The research method used in this study was purposive sampling method. The sample of this research were 28 samples. Based on the survey conducted there were 2 modern markets as retailer, Brastagi Supermarket and Transmart Carrefour which sell hydroponic vegetables. Twenty-five customers were taken as samples. The method used was snowball sampling and Microsoft Excel calculation methods. Data used were primary and secondary data. The study was conducted in May 2019. The results showed that the marketing channel for hydroponic vegetable in KUTP Hidrotani Sejahtera began from producers to retailers then last to consumers. The hydroponic vegetable marketing channel at the level of the marketing agency was an efficient with efficient level of 0.15%.

Juli Tani Group is a farmer group that received the cluster program from Bank Indonesia of Sumatera Utara for the red chili commodity. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Bank Indonesia Cluster Program on the income level of chili farmers in the Juli Tani Group in Sidodadi Village, Beringin District, Deli Serdang Regency. The data used are primary data obtained directly from the sample of red chili farmers in Juli Tani Group using a questionnaire. Determination of the sample in this study using the Slovin method with a total sample of 52 respondents. Analysis of the data used in this research were (1) Analysis of the Effectiveness of the Cluster Program (2) Analysis of farm business income, to determine whether farming is profitable or not economically, the researcher uses Revenue Cost Ratio (R / C Ratio) then (3) uses non-statistical parametric with the Spearman Rank correlation test. Based on the research results, it was known that the Bank Indonesia cluster program is very effective in increasing the income of chili farmers in the Juli Tani Group in Sidodadi Village, Beringin District, Deli Serdang Regency with an average farmer income of Rp 117,404,895 per growing season.

This research was conducted with the aim to know the yellow melon’s marketing channel and the efficiency of the yellow melon marketing channel in Pantai Labu District. This research is a descriptive qualitative and quantitative research. Determination of research units for yellow melon farmers using the census method, while the sample for traders using the snow ball sampling method, and consumer samples using the incidental sampling method. The results showed that there was only one channel formed in the marketing of yellow melon in Pantai Labu District, that us from farmers to collectors, then to wholesalers, retailers, and finally to consumers. In this marketing, the market divides the qualities of melons into three grades of gimbo, bs, and super. The most efficient yellow melon market is super grade yellow melon with the lowest marketing margin value of 10%, farmer's share value of 70%, and the profit to marketing cost ratio value of 17> 0 or Rp 17, - so the yellow melon marketing channel is efficient.

This research was conducted on September – October 2019 at Rambutan Plantation unit PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III, PayaBagas Sub-District, Serdang Bedagai District. The location of this research determined purposively and the sampling technic in this research was proportionate stratified random sampling with a total of 38 samples from cast section (Afdeling). From the results of the research conduded that the harvest salary system in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III Rambutan Plantation were a task bare system determined based on the area topography and potential production. Harvest salaries significantly affect the performance (quality of work, quantity of work, work attendance) in the PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III Rambutan Plantation Unit.

The objectives of this study to determine the effect of production, land area, fertilizer costs and labor costs on the income of corn farmers in Perbesi Village, Tiga Binanga District, Karo Regency. The research was conducted using sampling techniques by purposive sampling. Prasurvey data collection as many as 427 farmers in Perbesi Village had 1-2 Ha of corn planting area so 10% of the total population was 43 farmers as samples. The results showed that simultaneously production, land area, labor costs and fertilizer costs affected the income of corn farmers in Perbesi Village, Tigabinanga District (Fcount 26.768> Ftable 2.62). Partially the production variable has significant effect (thit 2.271), land area has no significant effect –(0.868), fertilizer costs have significant effect (3.326) and labor costs (-0.875) have no significant effect on the income of corn farmers in Perbesi village, Tigabinanga district with t table 1.68959. Simultaneously all variables  affect the income of corn farmers in Perbesi Village, while partially the production and cost of fertilizers have significant effect while land area and labor costs do not.

<p><strong><em> </em></strong></p><pre>ABSTRACT</pre><pre>               Considering the importance of arabica coffee commodity for farmers, a clear picture of arabica coffee marketing channel from producer farmer to final consumer (Merchant) is needed so that the profit can be equally distributed. This study aims to determine the marketing channel, margin, marketing efficiency of arabica coffee in the village of Sitinjo II, Sitinjo Subdistrict, Dairi Regency. The method used is proportionate stratified random sampling as much as 50 farmers while collecting merchant samples taken by census method that is as much as 5 traders and for the factory is taken as many as 2 factories with Purposive sampling method. The results showed that there are two channels of arabica coffee marketing at the location of research that is, the first channel starts from the farmer to the factory in the village Sitinjo II Sitinjo District. The second channel starts from the farmers, the collecting merchant proceeds to the factory in the village of Sitinjo II, Sitinjo Subdistrict. The biggest marketing margin is RP.4.000 found on channel II and the more efficient channel is on channel I with an efficiency value of 7.51%.</pre><p> </p>

<p>This study was conducted to determine the effect of  work discipline on employee productivity at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV (Persero) Pabatu Business Unit. The population in this study were all employees of the department, engineering / processing,  and  general  at  PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV (Persero) Unit Business Unit is 1031 people. the number of respondents used in this study were 104 people. The research was obtained from the results of the t test on the variables obeying all company regulations, namely 2.652&gt; T table = 1.980 stating that complying with all company regulations had a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity. Effective use of time is 3,069 &lt;Ttable = 1,980 stating that  effective use of time has a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity variables. Responsibility for work and assignments is 5,467&gt; T table = 1.980 states that work responsibilities and tasks have positive and significant to employee work productivity. The absentee level of 1,200 &lt;Ttable = 1,980 has a positive and insignificant effect  on employee work productivity. The simultaneous test results obtained are 262.880&gt; 2.31, which states that work discipline simultaneously has a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity. And the R value obtained is 0.884. This figure shows that 88.4% of work productivity is explained by the variable work discipline.</p>

<p>This study aims to determine the income level of fishermen anchovy catchers and analyze the factors that influence it. The research was conducted by purposive sampling method. The result showed that : Production Cost Variables had a negative and insignificant effect on the income of skipper fishermen, this was due to diminshing returns. Variable Amount of Labor has a positive and significant effect on the income of skipper fishermen, this is because if the greater the amount of work, the speed in obtaining the catch  (production) is more effective. Variety of Sea Trips has a positieve and significant effect on the income of fishermen, this is because if the distance goes to sea, then the amount of income of fishermen’s fishers increases. Variable Experience of skipper fishermen income, this is because if the longer or more business experience, then in managing business capital in obtaining results better and more accurate, so that income is maximized. Variable Production Costs, Number of Workers, Mileage, and Business Experience together influence the income variable.</p>

<p>In North Sumatra there  is  one  type  of  horticulture  plant,  strawberry,  especially  in Karo district. The purpose of this study  was  to  find  out  what  factors  influence  the  level  of income of strawberry picking agrotourism farmers themselves, knowing the price of their  own picking strawberry agro-tourism business and knowing whether the picking  strawberry  agro- tourism business itself is feasible. The sampling method is used  by  the  Central  theorem  limit method, the total population of strawberry farmers in Karo Regency  is  60,  in  this study 30 farmers were made as representative samples of the entire population. The data collected is primary  and  secondary  data.  The  analytical  method  used  is  multiple  linear  regression   with SPSS 21, BEP software tools and business feasibility analysis using  R  / C  Ratio.  (1) From the study using multiple linear regression analysis tools which have positive effect on strawberry farmers'  income,  namely  sales  and  expenditure  volume  of  RT.  (2)  Analysis  of  data  from (BEP), it is known that the sales  volume  reaches  the  level of 478.80 Kg with a selling price of  Rp. 52,760 / Kg, then the sales result is Rp. 38,304,239, with the results of the sale, the strawberry  picking  agro-business  itself  was  declared  even.  (3)  Analysis of the feasibility of the own strawberry picking agrotourism business in  Karo  Regency,  obtained  the  results  of R  / C&gt; 1, then the business is economically feasible.</p><p> </p>
