Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi kurangnya kemampuan spasial siswa. Kartografi merupakan seni teknik dan proses dalam pembuatan peta. Peta merupakan representasi atau gambaran unsur-unsur atau kenampakan abstrak yang ada kaitannya dengan permukaan bumi. Dalam pemanfaatannya, seni kartografi dapat membantu siswa dalam hal pemahaman spasial (ruang). Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk melatih keterampilan siswa dalam menggambar berbagai kenampakan atau fenomena atau simbol (dapat berupa titik, garis dan area), melatih ketelitian menggambar peta, dan menambah pendalaman materi pembuatan peta. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode pembelajaran praktikum terbimbing. Praktikum ini dilaksanakan dalam waktu sehari dan diikuti oleh 40 siswa. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan respon positif, hal ini ini bisa dilihat dari antusiasme para siswa serta testimoni yang diberikan oleh siswa.Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Spasial; Seni Kartografi.AbstractThis community service is motivated by the lack of students' spatial ability. Cartography is an engineering art and a process in making maps. Maps are representations or depictions of abstract elements or features that are related to the surface of the earth. In its use, the art of cartography can help students in terms of spatial understanding (space). This dedication activity aims to train students' skills in drawing various appearances or phenomena or symbols (can be in the form of points, lines and areas), train the accuracy of drawing maps, and increase the depth of map making material. This service activity is carried out using guided practicum learning methods. This practicum was held in one day and attended by 40 students. The results of this service show a positive response, this can be seen from the enthusiasm of the students and the testimonies given by students.Keywords: Cartography; Spatial Ability.

Profesional dan kualitas guru PAUD berpengaruh pada kualitas siswa, termasuk didalamnya adalah motorik siswa. Dengan demikian, diperlukan peningkatan profesionalisme dan kualitas guru PAUD dalam mengajar dan dalam hal ini adalah metode pembelajaran. Berkenaan dengan peningkatan motorik siswa, maka guru PAUD perlu dibekali dan ditingkatkan metode pembelajaran yang tepat dan kreatif. Beberapa metode pembelajaran yang berkaitan dalam peningkatan motorik siswa adalah menggambar, mewarnai, dan mengecat. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah dengan pendampingan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya motorik siswa di PAUD Kemah Kasih. Peningkatan motorik siswa berdampak pada meningkatknya fokus atau konsentrasi, kesabaran, keterampilan, emosi, ketaatan, ketepatan dalam mengisi obyek, disiplin, kreatifitas, pantang menyerah (menyelesaikan tugas sampai selesai) pada siswa PAUD Kemah Kasih. Professional and quality of early childhood teachers have an effect on the quality of students, including students' motor skills. Thus, it is necessary to increase the professionalism and quality of PAUD teachers in teaching and in this case is the learning method. With regard to improving student motor skills, PAUD teachers need to be equipped and enhanced with appropriate and creative learning methods. Several learning methods related to improving students' motor skills are drawing, coloring, and painting. The method used in this community service activity is assistance. The result of this activity was the improvement of the students' motor skills at the Kemah Kasih PAUD. The increase in student motoric has an impact on increasing focus or concentration, patience, skill, emotion, obedience, accuracy in filling objects, discipline, creativity, never giving up (completing assignments to completion) in Kemah Kasih PAUD students.

Learning strategies/methods are very important in learning. Errors in the selection of strategies/learning methods can be a barrier to the course of teaching and learning activities (KBM). Arabic is one of the subjects that is highly emphasized in Darusy Syahadah Islamic boarding school. The ability of the Arabic language for a santri is like a weapon that they will use in battle to search for and explore the Islamic sciences. However, in his journey there were several problems encountered in learning Arabic, including the emergence of drowsiness and boredom that befell students while attending Arabic learning. With these problems, it is necessary to have community service activities in order to create a more creative and attractive learning atmosphere for students. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide assistance in the application of the Musābaqah Biṭāqah Mukhtaliṭul Kalimah method in learning Arabic. The implementation method in this community service activity includes four stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation phase, the observation and evaluation stage, and finally the reflection phase. With the application of the Musābaqah Biṭāqah Mukhtaliṭul Kalimah method, it is proven that it can increase the activeness and enthusiasm of student learning which impacts on increasing student learning outcomes. So the development of the Musābaqah Biṭāqah Mukhtaliṭul Kalimah method as well as other active learning methods is very necessary in order to increase student interest in learning.

Cassava Peel

The waste of cassava peel is thrown away by the community, cassava peel can be used as a variety of snacks including sticks. Sticks are an attractive, varied and easier to carry, can be an innovation in increasing people's income. The service activity aims to provide knowledge, skills and guidance to PKK mothers, UMKM people in processing products made from cassava peel into sticks in Kampung Panjang Village. This activity is expected to motivate the entrepreneurial spirit towards innovative and economical efforts to increase income. The method of this activity is counseling in the form of serving the benefits of cassava peel and training and guidance on how to process cassava skin into steak. The results of the community service are obtained: a) Participants knew the benefits and importance of training cassava peel processing as an alternative to household side activities, b) Activness the participants during the service shows a positive response seen from the enthusiasm, discussion, question and answer and good cooperation. c) The achievement level of the target program has been the participants who have applied the processing of cassava peel to sticks with various flavors.

Three Stages

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru MTs DDI Padanglampe, Kabupaten Pangkep, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, dalam bidang penulisan karya tulis ilmiah, khususnya artikel ilmiah untuk publikasi jurnal. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode pelatihan. Pelatihan diberikan kepada 25 guru dan dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahapan, yakni tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Materi-materi pelatihan yang diberikan mencakup prinsip dasar penulisan karya ilmiah, karakteristik, langkah-langkah, sistematika karya tulis ilmiah, serta praktik penyusunan artikel ilmiah untuk publikasi jurnal. Pelatihan yang telah diberikan kepada guru MTs DDI Padanglampe menghasilkan artikel-artikel ilmiah yang layak untuk disubmit ke jurnal-jurnal. Selain itu, pelatihan ini mendapat respon yang sangat positif dari para guru, karena selama ini mereka masih kesulitan menyusun karya tulis ilmiah.The purpose of this community service activity is to improve the professional competence of teachers of MTs DDI Padanglampe, Pangkep Regency, South Sulawesi Province, in the field of writing scientific papers, especially scientific articles for journal publications. Activities are carried out using training methods. Training was given to 25 teachers and implemented in three stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The training materials provided cover the essence of writing scientific papers, characteristics, steps, systematic scientific papers, and the practice of writing scientific articles for journal publications. The training that has been given to Padanglampe MTs DDI teachers produces scientific articles that are ready to be submitted to journals. In addition, this training received a very positive response from the participants, because so far they still have difficulty in preparing scientific papers.

Community service activities (CSA) have been carried out using lecture methods, discussions, and practices regarding innovations in making healthy noodles without preservatives to provide information, knowledge, and skills regarding innovations in making healthy food and encourage and increase entrepreneurship homemakers. The innovation of making healthy noodles with ingredients without preservatives is considered vital because it is beneficial for health and as a step to utilize natural ingredients obtained in the surrounding environment. This activity was attended by 20 housewives in Sidomulyo Village, Medan Tuntungan District, Medan City, North Sumatra Province with different knowledge backgrounds. The CSA training that has been carried out provides understanding and skills to homemakers in processing natural ingredients into healthy food and can increase the economy because it can be commercialized. This CSA training also received a positive response from participants because it could practice directly, and the team provided the freedom to express opinions and develop ideas during the activity. This service activity was considered very useful as much as 65% and use as much as 35% of the questionnaire results distributed during the implementation of the activity. Through this CSA activity, it is hoped that the active role of participants in distributing knowledge and skills to the community in the surrounding environment is expected.

ABSTRAK Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk memperbaiki kualitas visual sebuah kawasan adalah dengan seni mural. Selain dianggap memperindah tampilan kawasan, keberadaan gambar-gambar dan warna ini juga dapat memperkuat karakter sebuah kawasan. Panti Asuhan Baitul Walad merupakan salah satu panti asuhan yang terletak di Kelurahan Loa Buah. Panti asuhan ini mempunyai misi menolong anak-anak yatim atau yang tidak mampu yang berpotensi untuk memperoleh pendidikan yang baik. Sebagai bekal untuk menghadapi kehidupan di masa depan, anak-anak asuh panti harus banyak memperoleh bekal keterampilan salah satunya adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan membuat mural. Khalayak sasaran program ini adalah anak asuh Panti Asuhan Baitul Walad.  Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan metode ceramah, praktik dengan bimbingan, serta evaluasi. Dalam kegiatan pelatihan dan ini tahap-tahap yang lakukan adalah memberi materi pendahuluan, tahap persiapan pembuatan mural, tahap melukis dan tahap finishing. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan yang direncanakan, peserta antusias mengikuti kegiatan dan memberi respon yang positif. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa pembuatan mural ini memberi keterampilan baru bagi peserta yaitu anak asuh Panti Asuhan Baitul Walad sekaligus secara umum memperbaiki aspek estetika visual Kawasan Loa Buah Kota Samarinda. Kata Kunci: loa buah; mural; pelatihan; pendampingan.ABSTRACT One effort that can be done to improve the visual quality of an area is with mural art. Besides being considered to beautify the appearance of the region, the presence of images and colors can also strengthen the character of an area. Baitul Walad Orphanage is one of the orphanages located in the Village of Loa Buah. This orphanage has a mission to help orphans or underprivileged people who have the potential to get a good education. As a provision to face life in the future, orphanage children have to get a lot of skills, one of which is training and assistance in making murals. The target audience for the program is the foster children of the Baitul Walad Orphanage. The method used is the lecture method, practice with guidance, and evaluation. In the training activities and the stages, the steps taken are to provide preliminary material, the preparation stage for mural, the painting stage and the finishing stage. The implementation of this activity went well as planned, participants enthusiastically participated in the activity and gave a positive response. The community service activity in the form of making murals gave new skills to participants, the foster children of the Baitul Walad Orphanage, while at the same time improving the visual aesthetic aspects of the Loa Buah Samarinda City.Keywords: accompaniment; loa buah; mural; training.

Corona virus (COVID-19) is a type of deadly virus with a fast spreading process. This virus infects the human respiratory tract. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, all activities must follow the health protocols published by the Indonesian Ministry of Health, such as social distancing, wearing masks and washing hands. The aim of this study is to provide understanding to the Kuala Bubon fishing community regarding health protocols as an effort to prevent COVID-19 and to provide touchless hand washer assistance to make it easier for people to do health protocols. This study which is a part of community service activity was conducted by using the lecture/mentoring method. The output of the activity is an increase of public awareness to always follow health protocols to every activity. The activity received a positive response from the local community. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of the community in participating in this community service activity.

Abstract: Practicum activities in learning Natural Sciences in the school environment is one of the effective methods to achieve learning objectives. Because in learning activities there are many concepts that can be explained if students carry out scientific activities or with laboratory tests. Singosari 1 High School is one of the high schools located on Jl. Ki Hajar Dewantara Singosari, Malang Regency. This community service activity aims to provide practical guidance to students in SMA Negeri 1 Singosari for Chemistry subjects. This is based on the results of interviews with chemistry teachers who showed that many students had difficulty in acid-base material. The method used needs analysis and is measured with quantitative data in the form of a tabulated questionnaire. The results of this service can be measured qualitatively and quantitatively, namely a questionnaire given to students that shows that there is a positive response and most feel very satisfied with the practicum activities undertaken. The purpose of carrying out this community service activity is to increase the knowledge and understanding of kindergarten teachers about the application of Contextual Teaching Learning learning methods in increasing student learning motivation. The method used in this service is to provide counseling in the form of training for kindergarten teachers and provide assistance for six months. The participants in this community service activity were 6 teachers at Darul Muhsinin Kindergarten, Enjak Hamlet, Labulia Village, West Lombok Regency. The results of this community service indicate an increase in the skills of kindergarten teachers in designing and implementing effective learning methods for students that can increase student learning motivation.

  This community service activity aims to provide opportunities for students to apply knowledge to build public awareness in preventing and overcoming the problem of the Covid-19 pandemic. The activity took place in Karacak Village, Leuwiliang District, Bogor, West Java. The method used is descriptive qualitative analysis based on observation and community participation in the field. The domicile-based thematic KKN was filled with activities for attaching posters, distributing masks, learning assistance, reading aids, work assistance, making hand sanitizers, socializing good hand washing, happy healthy exercise, and teaching assistance at TPQ Barkatul Huda in Kp. Lebak Sirna Rt 04/03 Karacak Village. The positive response given by residents is very diverse. The average citizen gave a good response to the holding of this domicile-based KKN.
