The objective of this research entitled “IMPROVING ENGLISH VOCABULARY BY USING TOTAL PHYSICAL RESPONSE (TPR) METHOD TO THE FIFTH GRADE STUDENTS OF SDN PASIRKALIKI 1 CIMAHI” was to find out whether or not teaching English Vocabulary using Total Physical Response Method was effective to improve the students’ vocabulary ability. The research used quantitative method and one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this research was 31 of the fifth grade elementary school while the sample was entire population. They are consisted of 31 students. The data of this research were collected by giving pretest and posttest to the subject. The collected data were analyzed by using t-test formula. The results of the data analysis showed that: the mean score of pretest was 44.61, the mean score of posttest was 44.83, the tobs was 2.442, the tcritical value at the significance level 0.05 with degree of freedom (df) 30 was 2.042. Based on the data analysis above, the alternative hypothesis was accepted because the tobs was higher than t critical (2.442>2.042). It also meant that improving English vocabulary using Total Physical Response Method was effective to improve the students’ vocabulary ability. Keywords: Vocabulary, Total Physical Response Method

The objective to be achieved in this research is to know the differences in the ability of comprehending the concept of science in the fifth grade students of SDN 05 Telukwetan Jepara between learning using POE and learning model using conventional method. This research is an experimental research belongs to quantitative method. This research used True Experimental design. The type of the design is taken Posttest-Only Control Design. Based on the results of the research data analysis capabilities using the concept comprehension test two parties, obtained by tcount = 3.5259, and t_table = 2.0154 with a significance level of 5% by dk = n1 + n2 - 2 = 23 +23 - 2 = 44. Based on the results of the analysis, obtained tcount> ttable is 3.5259> 2.0154 then Ho rejected and Ha accepted. Thus, we can conclude that there are differences in the ability of science to the students' comprehending the concept of learning used POE and learning model using conventional method. Keywords: model of POE; ability; comprehending the concept

Concentration in the world of education is a very important one in doing general replications. This study aimed to verify whether there are effects of aromatherapy to the concentration of children in the fifth grade of primary school working on the general test questions. This research is a quantitative study with pre-experimental methods, sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. Subjects in this study were fifth grade elementary school students who are following the general replication at SD Negeri 5 Tonja by 82 students. Collecting data using a concentration questionnaire with Likert scale and data analysis by independent sample t-test. After conducting validity and reliability there are 25 items left from a total of 34 items on the reliability coefficient of 0.876. After doing               the independent sample t-test significance p values obtained for 0.823 (> 0.05). This means there is no effect of aromatherapy to the concentration of children in the fifth grade of primary school working on the general test questions.  Based  on  additional  data  to  see  the  concentration  of  each  day,  there  is  an increasing concentration in the experimental group students, but has not reached a significant point.   Keywords: Aromatherapy, Concentration, Students, General Test

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of pop-up book learning media on the motivation and learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 3 KAWO in the 2020/2021 academic year. The population in this study were all students of class V at SDN 3 KAWO, while the samples were students of class VA as the experimental class and students of class VB as the control class. Data analysis begins with a normality test using the One-Sample Kolmogrov Smirnov formula with a significance level of 5% (0.05) and continues with a homogeneity test further testing the research hypothesis and further testing with a gain-score test. Then the motivational data and learning outcomes were analyzed by Independent t-test. Samples Test to determine the research hypothesis, the results of data analysis obtained a t-count value of 3,241 while the t-table at a significance level of 5% was 2,048 so that the t-count value> t-table, which means that Ha, which states there is an effect of application pop-up book learning media on science learning motivation of fifth grade students at SDN 3 KAWO in the 2020/2021 academic year, was accepted and H0 rejected. And the obtained t-count is 2.209 while the t-table at the 5% significance level is 2.048 so that the t-count value is >t-table, which means that Ha which states that there is an effect of the application of pop-up book learning media on participants' science learning outcomes fifth grade students of SDN 3 KAWO for the academic year 2020/2021, were accepted and H0 was rejected. Then a follow-up test was carried out using gain-score test, the value of learning motivation is 0.403 which is included in the medium category, while the learning outcomes of 0.576 are included in the medium category.
