This study aims to determine the effects of teaching method and emotionalintelligence upon student’s speaking skill at the private vocational school in east Lampung. Research hypothesis included: 1) there is effect of teachingmethod upon student’s speaking skill, 2) there is effect emotionalintelligence upon student’s speaking skill, 3), there is interaction betweenteaching method and emotional intelligence upon student’s speaking skill.Method used in this research in experimental method. The population is allstudents and the sample of 40 students who obtained a random samplingtechnique that use cluster sampling. Instrument that is used is result test ofstudent’s speaking skill in the multiple choice with 35 items that is testedvalidity with reliability coefisient = 0,82, questionnaire 38 items ofemotional intelligence that is tested validity with reliability coefficient = 0,72. Analysis of data uses analysis of variance (ANOVA) two-ways. Resultof the rsearch show that there sre effects of teaching method and emotiona lintelligence upon studnt’s speaking skill.Keywords: Effect, teaching method, emotional intelligence, student’s

Abstract: The research objective is to find out the effect of the Community Language Learning method and the Emotional Intelligence on students’ speaking skill at the eighth grade of SMP Darussalam Ciputat. This research used a quasi-experimental with factorial design which involved 60 students as the sample, (as the experimental and the control group), who were chosen by using purposive sampling technique. The research data were collected through test of speaking skill, and the questionnaire to test emotional intelligence. The data were analyzed by factorial ANOVA test. This study’s findings revealed that: (1) Community Language Learning (CLL) method is more effective in enhancing students’ English speaking skill than the conventional method. (2) The students who have a high level of emotional intelligence are better in speaking skill than those who have a low level of emotional intelligence. (3) There is no interactional effect between teaching method and emotional intelligence (EI) on the students’ speaking skill.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode Pembelajaran Bahasa Komunitas dan Kecerdasan Emosional terhadap Keterampilan Berbicara Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Darussalam Ciputat. Penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen semu dengan desain faktorial yang melibatkan 60 siswa sebagai sampel (kelompok eksperimen kontrol), dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen terdiri dari tes keterampilan berbicara percakapan, dan angket kecerdasan emosional. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji ANOVA faktorial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Metode Community Language Learning (CLL) lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Inggris siswa daripada metode konvensional. (2) Siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan emosional tingkat tinggi memiliki keterampilan berbicara yang lebih baik daripada siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan emosional tingkat rendah. (3) Tidak ada pengaruh interaksional antara metode pengajaran dan kecerdasan emosional (EI) terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa. Artinya, siswa tingkat IE tinggi pada metode CLL maupun konvensional lebih baik daripada tingkat IE rendah.

The major problems of this study are how to develop the students’ speaking skill dealing with accuracy, fluency and comprehensibility, and how to motivate the students to speak English so this research is conducted to find out weather of guessing game technique effective to improve the speaking skill of the seventh grade students of SMPN 3 Balusu. In this research the researcher apply quasi experimental method that apply a pre-test and post-test design. It involves two groups; the experimental group guessing game technique, as the control group Q&A technique, lecturing way. Both of group are given pretest and posttest. The population is the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Balusu. It consists of three classes. The researcher uses cluster sampling in both class in this research. They consist 20 (twenty) students for experiment and 21 (twenty one) control group. The result of the data analysis showed that the students’ spreaking ability improved, it shows that the speaking ability of the seventh grade students of SMPN 3 Balusu improve through guessing game technique. Moreover, the response to questionnaire also shows that most of the students’ interest to the teaching guessing game uses in the classroom. In short, using guessing game in speaking is effective to improve the speaking ability of the seventh grade students of SMPN 3 Balusu.

Abstract The aim of this study is to find influence social media against the results of learning measurement electricity at 34 vocational school.  Populations of this study is student in class X at major electrical engineering. Samples taken by 30 students form a different class. The method used is experimental method and used test instrument multiple choice and questionnaire. To test the hypothesis in this research used analysis regression linier sederhana with uji-F. Before analysis regression linier sederhana with uji-F the firs must tes rules that is normality, homogeneity,t-tes and linierity. The results of analysis regression linier with standard significant 0,05 Fvalue˃ Ftable = 10,93 > 4,20 and the value of determinasi = 28,09 then 28,09% from variable the result of learning student influenced form used social media and if not using social media. Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh media sosial terhadap hasil belajar dasar pengukuran listrik (studi pada SMKN 34 Jakarta). Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X jurusan teknik instalasi listrik SMKN 34 Jakarta. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 30 siswa dari 2 kelas yang berbeda dengan menggunakan metode quasy experimental dan instrument penelitian ini menggunakan tes pilihan ganda dan kuesioner. Untuk menguji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini digunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana dengan uji-F. Sebelumnya dilakukan uji persyaratan terlebih dahulu, yaitu uji normalitas, homogenitas, uji-t dan linieritas. Didapatkan analisis regresi linier sebesar dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 Fhitung˃Ftabel yaitu 10,93 > 4,20  dan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 28,09 yang berarti 28,09 persen dari variabel hasil belajar dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan media sosial dan tidak dari media sosial.

This research aims to describe the technique of teaching speaking skills in Al Kautsar Elementary School, which was packaged using multiple classroom management based on multiple intelligences and factors that influence the success of the speech skill teaching method in each different class. The researcher used the descriptive qualitative approach, observational and interview data collection, documentation and data analysis with the data triangle. The results show that Al-Kautsar Elementary School organized the education program well, which is characterized by applying the teaching method of speaking skill on the basis of multiple intelligences by producing a variety of different speaking skill teaching method according to students' intelligence means guessing the word, singing, training and physical movement. Thematic and humanistic education curricula were implemented in an integrated way to encourage the achievement of good educational results and the production of speech skill. Then the factors that affect the success of speech skill education in primary school include Al Kautsar consisting of a strong funding factor, environment, reliable human resource management and organized school management. This research suggests the need to reformulate the method of teaching speech skills to administer the teaching of Arabic language in the global age to establish it at the institute.

This study aimed at examining the effect of Instructional software for earth and environmental subject on Increasing achievements of ninth grade students at king Abdullah the II for excellence school in Irbid. In order to achieve the objective of the study، The researcher adopted the experimental method، and prepared instructional software and achievement test، the subjects of the study consisted of (53) ninth basic graders، (27) males، (26) female. The subjects were randomly distributed into two groups، (26) of them in the experimental group taught by the instructional software، and (27) in the control group taught by the conventional method. The results of the study indicated that there were statistical significant differences at the level (α = 0.05) due to the teaching method، the mean value for control group is (20.44)، while the mean value for experimental group is (23.19)، in the favor of the experimental group subjects taught by the instructional software، and there were no statistical significant differences due to the gender or to the interaction between the gender and teaching method. The study suggested a number of recommendation and implications in order to increase students achievement in earth & environmental subjects and all curriculums.

This study aims to find out which is more effective between the overall method and the teaching method part by section on learning outcomes passing (passing) the inner leg in students who take Futsal learning. This research was carried out by an experimental method in total sampling. Thedata analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is the t-test, at a significant level α= 0.05, starting with calculating the t-count value to compare with the t-table value at a significant level of 95%. (1) The whole method is obtained by t-count = 4, the value listed in t-table with degrees of freedom (dk) = 15-1 = 14. A significant level of 5% is 2.14, so t-count> t-table, means that there is a convincing (significant) difference before and after being given the overall method treatment. (2) The teaching method part of division is obtained the value of t-count = 3.7, the value listed in t-table with degrees of freedom (dk) = 15-1 = 14. Significant level of 5% is 2.14, so t-count> t-table, means that there is a convincing (significant) difference before and after the treatment method is given in part. And (3) The overall method and the part-by-part teaching method obtained t-count = 3.2, the values listed in t-table with degrees of freedom (dk) = 15 + 15-2 = 28. A significant level of 5% is 2.05. So t-count> t-table.

Emotional intelligence (EI) has become a central concern to carry out any study on leadership and its effectiveness in schools and other institutions. This study was intended to investigate the effect of the principals’ EI on the academic performance of Nepali institutional schools. A sample of 121 principals and 491 teachers from the schools of three districts of Nepal (Jhapa, Kathmandu and Kaski) was drawn following cluster sampling method. The data were collected through Emotional Intelligence Survey Questionnaire. From the data analysis using non-parametric statistical measures, it was revealed that the principals had higher level of emotional intelligence irrespective of their demographic characteristics. The findings indicated that the schools’ principals were emotionally intelligent and effective in maintaining the schools’ academic performance. The findings can lead to conclude that leadership performance can be enhanced in schools by developing emotional intelligence in the principals’ leadership behaviour.

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of workload and emotional intelligence on performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. This research was conducted at the District Panwaslu Secretariat in Kebumen Regency. Data collection was carried out through distributing questionnaires to 52 civil servants at the Panwascam Secretariat in Kebumen District. The analysis technique used is using the SPSS Version 22 analysis program for Windows. The results obtained in the study showed that workload and emotional intelligence variables had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. The workload variable on performance has a negative and significant effect on performance, while the emotional intelligence variable has a positive and significant impact on performance, and the variables of job satisfaction and performance are positive and significant. The classic assumption test in testing and proving the research hypothesis was obtained by analysis showing that workload contributed positively to satisfaction, emotional intelligence contributed to job satisfaction, workload contributed negatively to performance, emotional intelligence contributed to performance and satisfaction contributions work on the performance of civil servants at the Panwascam Secretariat in Kebumen Regency.

This research aims to know the teaching of the speaking skill using the audio-oral method for the students of Islmic Senior High School of Zainul Hasan Genggong Probolinggo and to know its problems. This qualitative research used observation, interview, and documentation to collect data. To analyze the data, this research based on three basic things, data reduction, data presentation, and extrapolation. And, to measure the validity of the data, this research used triangulation. The results of this research are the teaching of the speaking skill using the audio-oral method for the students of Islmic Senior High School of Zainul Hasan Genggong Probolinggo by giving the dialogues, then translates them and represents the pronunciation in the Arabic dialect, which the students hear and then imitate afterwards sometimes the tape recorder used for improving the arabic speaking skill correctly while teaching continued with more exercises in various Arabic dialogues. The problems of the teaching of the speaking skill using the audio-oral method for the students of Islmic Senior High School of Zainul Hasan Genggong Probolinggo consist of three basic problems which are related to the language environment, the local language, the monotonic teaching method and learning media.
