Existing learning has not fully facilitated 4C (critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity) skills and there are obstacles for students to encounter in studying biology, especially the material about plant tissue. It happens due to various limitations in achieving basic competency skills. One of the learning approaches that can be used to support 4C skills is the STEM approach which is supported by student worksheets (SW) to guide the learning process. The purpose of this study was to measure the effectiveness of STEM-based SW to train students' creative thinking skills. The research method used is descriptive quantitative and qualitative with one group pre-test and post-test design. The research subjects were 21 students of XI grades at SMAK St.Hendrikus. Data analysis of the N-Gain test of creative thinking skills obtained an average N-gain of 0.7 with a medium category. The N-Gain analysis of creative thinking skills using the T-Test with a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 indicates that STEM-based worksheets are effective in training students' creative thinking skills.

Speaking competency is important for Japanese language learners. Problems cited by the students in learning the Japanese language speaking skills are among the students often feel confused and insecure to speak Japanese. This is due to lack of exercise on speaking skills. Based on the above background, the researchers conducted research on the effectiveness of the use of identity cards Japanese against their speaking ability. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of media use identity cards to the ability to speak Japanese. Moreover, the purpose of this study was to determine the response of the media student identity card. This research is a quantitative research using quasi-experimental methods and research design one group pre-test-post-test design. Instruments used in the form of an oral test and a questionnaire. The samples used were students XI IPS SMAN 2 Bandung 2015/2016 school year as many as 20 people. The result showed the acquisition value of the average student prior to the implementation of the identity card media that is equal to 12.95 and the introduction of an identity card media increased to 23.8. Based on statistical calculation results obtained komparasional thitung 29.73 and ttable at significance level of 5% was 2.09 and 1% significance level was 2.86, this means thitung> ttabel, then Hk Ho accepted and rejected. So that it can be interpreted that there are significant differences between Japanese speaking skills of students before and after the implementation of media identification card. Science education in Rwandan schools still faces a number of challenges including the lack or shortage of equipment available for science experiments. This paper describes research conducted to assess the impact of using improvised versus conventional laboratory equipment in experiments. Eighty-five lower secondary school students were assessed using a semi-experimental post-test design on thermal expansion of bodies. Data analysis using a t-test produced a t-Stat of 2.74 over a t-Critical of 1.98 indicating a statistical significance between the two experimental groups in favour of the group using improvised equipment. As a result, it is recommended that improvised equipment be used in those instances in which there is a lack or shortage of conventional equipment since students’ achievement was similar regardless of the type of equipment used.

Additionally, it explores students’ opinions and perceptions towards these techniques. The research conducted in Granada high school in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Thirty-six male students participated in this study whose levels according to the course book were assumed to be B1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). In this study, a mixed research method was used where data was analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The first group was taught using copy cover and compare method (CCC), which emphasizes repeated practice when errors occur in students spelling, whereas the second group was trained using the flip folder technique which is a combination of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic techniques that were believed to enhance memorization. A post-test was utilized immediately after the intervention and the results showed that the CCC group outperformed the Flip Folder group.

This study aims to determine the effect of plyometric training using boxes on the long jump achievement of students at STKIP Pasundan. The research method used to uncover these problems through the experimental method with pre-test design and post-test design. The sample of this study was 20 students from PJKR STKIP Pasundan Cimahi who participated in the Athletic UKM activities in STKIP Pasundan Cimahi. The study was conducted 3 meetings each week for 6 weeks. The instrument used is the long jump test which has been tested for validity and reliability. The data obtained were processed using the T-Paired test. The results of the study revealed that there was a difference in effect between plyometric training programs using boxes and plyometric exercises that did not use boxes. Plyometric exercises using boxes have a more significant effect compared to plyometric exercises without using boxes on long jump achievements

This study aimed to analyze students' conceptual understanding by using a multi-representation assisted discovery learning model in measurement. This research was conducted in Public High School 1 Kendari. This research is a quasi-experimental study using a one-group pre-post test design. The research method consisted of a conceptual comprehension test using a caliper and a screw micrometer in an essay in the form of a multi-representational test on long measurements. The analysis showed an increase in conceptual understanding between the pre-test and post-test with an average pre-test score of 16.24 (SD = 14) and a post-test of 61.4 (SD = 21). These results indicate an increase in students' understanding of concepts after learning with an average N-gain increase of 0.5 (SD = 0.2) in the medium category. It also obtained the most significant increase in students' understanding of the indicators mentioned parts caliper and micrometer with an N-gain average of 0.6 in the medium category.
