ABSTRAKPengabdian ini bertujuan memperkenalkan cara pengolahan pakan komplit dengan teknologi fermentasi kepada peternak sapi dan kerbau. Pengabdian ini dilakukan kepada masyarakat peternak yang berada di Desa Keude Panga, Kabupaten Aceh Jaya, Provinsi Aceh. Pengabdian ini dilakukan oleh 3 orang dosen, 25 orang peserta [G1] dan dihadiri juga oleh beberapa perwakilan dari pejabat dinas terkait. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi (selama 1 hari) dan praktek pembuatan pakan komplit yang difermentasi selama 21 hari. Pengolahan yang diperkenalkan berupa teknologi fermentasi dengan menggunakan bahan-bahan berupa rumput gajah, daun lamtoro (petai cina), bungkil kelapa, ampas tahu, dedak kasar, urea, molasses, garam, dan Effective Microorganism (EM 4) yang kemudian disusun sesuai formula menjadi pakan komplit. Bahan yang digunakan merupakan bahan baku lokal yang ada di  Aceh dan yang tersedia di Laboratorium Ilmu Nutrisi dan Teknologi Pakan, Jurusan Peternakan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala Darussalam Banda Aceh. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian memberikan dampak positif kepada peternak berupa pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang pengolahan pakan dengan teknologi fermentasi menggunakan bahan pakan lokal. Kesimpulannya peternak dapat memanfaatkan limbah pertanian dan industri yang ada di sekitarnya, sehingga potensi nutrisi limbah dapat dipertahankan dan bahkan ditingkatkan dengan teknologi fermentasi. Kata Kunci: complete feed, Desa Keude Panga, fermentasi, pengabdian, teknologi ABSTRACTThe community service activity aimed to introduce complete feed processing methods with fermentation technology to cattle and buffalo farmers. This activity was targeted to farmers’ community  in Keude Panga Village, Aceh Jaya Regency, Aceh Province. This community service was attended by 3 lecturers, 25 participants, and several representatives from related service officials. The activity was carried out using the lecture method, discussion (for 1 day) and hand on training of complete fermented feed preparation for 21 days. The processing introduced was in the form of fermentation technology using materials such as elephant grass, lamtoro (chinese petai) leaves, coconut cake, tofu dregs, coarse bran, urea, molasses, salt, and Effective Microorganisms (EM 4) which were then formulated into a complete feed. Ingredients used were locally available in Aceh and \ and available at the Laboratory of Nutrition Science and Feed Technology, Department of Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Darussalam Banda Aceh. As a result, farmers gain knowledge and skills about feed processing with fermentation technology using local feed ingredients. The cost of feed is the highest expenditure on animal husbandry management. One solution to reduce the high cost of feed is by utilizing local feed ingredients or abundant horticulture waste. Waste from bananas namely banana peel can be used as small ruminant animal feed so that feed efficiency can be achieved both in terms of cost, nutrition and feed formulation. Abundant banana skin waste that has not been used optimally so that it is feared can cause environmental pollution. To prevent the accumulation of horticultural waste, one of which is by giving cattle as feed used in the dry season. The method used in the first community service program is to approach, interview and deepen problems and find solutions to problems later. Secondly, learning methods by using teaching media in the form of a book of community service activities and ways of fermented kepok banana peels, giving brochures or leaflets and demonstration using media aids and banners that attract farmers' interests. The results that have been achieved have shown that increasing farmers' knowledge and income related to fermentation technology as animal feed by utilizing agricultural waste

ABSTRAK. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan bahan pakan fermentasi yang terutama tersusun atas tepung limbah ikan leubim dan tepung indigofera sebagai substitusi sebagian ransum komersil ayam petelur terhadap penampilan produksi telur puyuh. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Lapangan Peternakan (LLP), Program Studi Peternakan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Syiah Kuala selama 10 minggu. Penelitian ini menggunakan 80 ekor puyuh (Coturnix coturnix japonica) betina dara umur 4 minggu. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 4 kelompok. Setiap kelompok merupakan unit percobaan yang masing-masing terdiri atas 5 ekor puyuh betina dara. Ransum perlakuan adalah ransum komersil ayam petelur yang disubstitusi dengan bahan pakan campuran fermentasi: 20% tepung limbah ikan leubim + 11% tepung daun indigofera + 45,4% menir + 20% dedak jagung + 3,6% tepung kulit kerang sebanyak 0, 10, 20, dan 30%. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa ransum komersil ayam petelur dapat disubstitusi sampai 30% dengan bahan pakan campuran fermentasi yang tersusun atas tepung limbah ikan leubim 20% + tepung daun indigofera 11% + menir 45,4% + dedak jagung 20% + tepung kulit kerang 3,6% tanpa menurunkan secara nyata produksi, berat dan massa telur, konsumsi dan konversi ransum, serta berat badan akhir dan pertambahan berat badan puyuh.  (Egg productions of quails fed the commercial rations partially substituted by fermentation feed ingredients based on the mixture of Leubim fish waste meal and Indigofera sp.) ABSTRACT. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the partial substitution of commercial ration with fermented feed ingredients based on leubim fish (Canthidermis maculata) waste meal and Indigofera sp. meal on the appearance of quail egg production. The research was conducted at the Field Laboratory of Animal Husbandry, Animal Husbandry Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University for 10 weeks. The study used 80 female quails (Coturnix-coturnix japonica) at 4 weeks of age. The study was designed into randomized block design consisting of 4 treatments and 4 blocks. Each block was an experimental unit, each consisting of 5 quails. The treatment was commercial ration of laying hens partially substituted by fermented feed ingredients composed of 20% leubim fish waste meal + 11% Indigofera sp. meal + 45.4% broken rice + 20% corn bran + 3.6% clam shell meal as many as 0, 10, 20, and 30%. The results of study showed that commercial ration of laying hens could be substituted up to 30% with a mixture of fermented feed ingredients composed of 20% leubim fish waste meal +11% Indigofera sp. meal + 45.4% broken rice + 20% corn bran + 3.6% clam shell meal without significantly reduced egg production, egg weight, and egg mass, feed consumption and FCR, and final body weight and average body weight gain of quails.

Abtrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tentang pengaruh substitusi amtabis yang difermentasi dengan Aspergillus niger (A.niger) terhadap berat dan persentase karkas broiler. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Lapangan Peternakan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala yang berlokasi di Desa Kopelma Darussalam Banda Aceh sejak tanggal 4 Desember 2015 sampai dengan tanggal 9 Januari 2016. Parameter yang diukur adalah berat hidup, berat karkas, persentase karkas, berat potongan karkas, persentase potongan karkas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa substitusi Amtabis dengan ransum komersial berpengaruh sangat nyata (P0,01) terhadap berat hidup dan berat karkas, namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap persentase karkas. Pada penambahan Amtabis dengan level 6% cenderung menaikkan berat hidup, berat dan persentase karkas tetapi tidak melebihi kontrol. Pengaruh substitusi Amtabis terhadap berat dan persentase bagian-bagian karkas menunjukkan pengaruh yang nyata pada berat sayap, berat paha atas dan berat paha bawah.Effect of Substitution Amtabis Fermented with Aspergillus niger on the Weight and the Percentage of Carcass Broiler Abstrack: The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the effect of substitution amtabis fermented with Aspergillus niger (A.niger) on broiler weight and the percentage of carcass. This research was conducted at the Field Laboratory of Animal Husbandry Department,  Agricultural Faculty, Syiah Kuala Universtiy Darusslam, Banda Aceh from December 4, 2015 to January 9, 2016. Parameters measured in this study were live weight, carcass weight, carcass percentage, pieces of carcass weight, carcass percentage cuts. The results showed that the substitution of Amtabis in commercial rations significant effect (P0,05) on live weight and carcass weight, but not influenced (P0,05) on carcass percentage. Substitution of Amtabis at the level of 6% on commercial feed tended to increase live weight, carcass weight and percentages but still not above control weight. Effect of substitution Amtabis on weight and cut-up pieces of broiler carcass showed significantly influenced on the weight of the wings, tights and drum sticks

ABSTRAKTempat pembuangan akhir (TPA) di Desa Tlekung, Kota Batu, telah memberikan manfaat bagi para peternak bebek di Desa tersebut. Masyarakat setempat dapat memanfaatkan sampah organik sebagai pakan bebek. Akan tetapi penggunaan sampah tersebut untuk pakan bebek menimbulkan masalah, yaitu timbulnya cemaran bau yang berasal dari sampah yang belum terfermentasi dengan sempurna, dan rata-rata tingkat kematian bebek cukup tinggi. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk melakukan transfer teknologi fermentasi sampah organik sebagai pakan bebek. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap, yaitu (i) survei lapangan, (ii) penyampaian materi teori disampaikan secara klasikal , (iii) penyampaian materi keterampilan dalam bentuk praktik/ demonstrasi pembuatan pakan organik secara fermentasi dan (iv) pendampingan kepada para peternak serta (v) monitoring dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil yang diperoleh sangat menggembirakan dan memberikan kepuasan tersendiri bagi peternak. Feses bebek yang diberi pakan hasil proses fermentasi sudah tidak bebau seperti semula, bulu bebek dapat tumbuh dengan baik, dan bebek yang dihasilkan tampak lebih gemuk dan lebih sehat dan memiliki pertambahan berat badan lebih baik dibandingkan dengan yang diberi pakan yang tidak diferementasi. Disamping itu, penggunaan pakan fermentasi dari sampah organik diketahui dapat menghemat biaya pakan sampai sebesar 60%, sehingga keuntungan peternak menjadi meningkat. Kata kunci: tempat pembuangan akhir; sampah organik; pakan organik. ABSTRACTThe landfill in Tlekung Village, Batu City, has provided benefits for duck farmers in the village. Local people can use organic waste as duck feed. However, the use of organic waste as duck feed causes some problems, that is odor contaminant from unfinished fermentation, also high average rate duck mortality. This community service program is carried out to transferring organic waste fermentation technology knowledge in feed duck production. Program consist of (i) field survey, (ii) classical theory sharing, (iii) skill sharing by practice/ demonstration of organic duck fermented feed production, (iv)  assistance of duck farmers, and (v) monitoring and evaluation of program. The results obtained are very encouraging and give satisfaction to farmers. The duck feces which fed with fermentation organic production have no smell like before, duck feathers can grow well, also duck look healthier and have better weigh gain than duck which fed with unfermented fed. In addition, the use of fermented feed from organic waste is known to save feed cost up to 60%. So, it is increasing farmer’s profit. Keywords: organic waste; duck feed; fermented feed.

Tujuan  penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan  campuran tepung limbah kepiting, tepung limbah ikan leubim (Canthidermis maculata), dan  menir  sebagai substitusi sebagian ransum komersil terhadap berat dan persentase komponen telur puyuh.  Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Lapangan Peternakan (LLP) dan Laboratorium Ilmu dan Teknologi Produksi Ternak Ungggas, Program Studi Peternakan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh.  Penelitian ini menggunakan sebanyak 80 ekor puyuh (Coturnix-coturnix japonica) betina dara umur 4 minggu.  Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok  terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 4 kelompok.   Setiap kelompok merupakan unit percobaan yang masing-masing terdiri dari 5 ekor puyuh betina dara.   Ransum perlakuan adalah ransum komersil ayam petelur yang disubstitusi dengan campuran tepung limbah kepiting + tepung limbah ikan leubim + menir sebanyak 0, 10, 20, dan 30%.   Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan substitusi ransum komersil sampai level 30% dengan campuran 7,5% tepung limbah kepiting + 4,1% tepung limbah ikan leubim + 13,4% menir  meningkatkan persentase kuning telur (yolk) dan kerabang telur puyuh serta menurunkan persentase albumen.Effect of Using Commercial Ration Partly Substituted by the Mixing of  Crab Waste Meal +  Leubim Fish Waste Meal + Broken Rice on the Weights and Percentages of  Quail Egg ComponentsAbstract.  The purpose of this study was to determine  effect of using the mixing of  crab waste meal +  leubim fish (Canthidermis maculata) waste meal + broken rice as a substitute for  commercial laying chicken rations on the components of quail eggs.  This research was conducted at the Field Laboratory of Animal Husbandry and the Laboratory of  Poultry Production Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh. This study used as many as 80 quails (Coturnix-coturnix japonica) females aged 4 weeks. The treatment  was feeding quails with the commercial diet of laying hen (324-1M) partially substituted by the mixing of  crab waste meal + leubim  fish  waste meal + broken rice  as much as 0% (RA),  10% (RB),  20% (RC),  and 30% (RD), respectively.   The study was performed into block randomized design (BRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 4 blocks.  Each treatment was  an experimental unit consisting of 5 female quails.  The parameters were egg weight and  the weights and percentages og egg components including yolk, albumen, and shell. The results of  study indicated that  substitute commercial laying chicken rations up to 30% with a mixing of 7,5% crab waste meal + 9,1%  leubim waste meal  + 13,4% broken rice increased the percentages of yolk and egg shell of quails while the percentages of albumen declined.

The implementation of this community service aims to develop and dedicate knowledge to the community to help and awaken children and the community in science and worship. In this study, we utilized counseling and demonstrations, counseling using lectures i.e. delivering material about prayer services, and practicing prayer procedures both from the reading as well as the gestures in prayer. This study found that the children (santri) of TPA Geuceu Meunara Banda Aceh feel very pleased and enthusiastic in following the materials and demonstrations of prayers.

  Abstract Tourism village is largely based in local wisdom is a form of integrated activities between attractions, accommodation, supporting facilities and additional facilities in the form of village management presented in the structure of community life that is bound by traditional procedures and norms that apply in the village. The development of sustainable tourism villages reguires the participation of local communities in all phases of development starting from the planning, implementation and supervision and control stages. Pujon Kidul Village in Pujon subdistrict, Malang regency is one of the tourist villages developed by the village community, which has tourism potential from the agriculture, livestock and small to mediun industries which is supported by the geographical and climatological conditions of the region. The purpose of this activity is to strengthen the promotion of village teourism based in local wisdom by identifying the potential of the Pujon Kidul village tourism area. Approach to the implementation of community service using the Rural Appraisal Approach (RAA) through a Group Discussion Forum (FGD) between the Pujon Kidul village apparatus, the Tourism Awarness Group (Pokdarwis) and the representatives of the village community. The results of this activity are strengthening promotion through a catalog of tourism village potentials and understanding of village afficials, the community and the private sector in planning the development of tourism villages through the utilization of the potential of geography, agriculture, animal husbandry and plantations in the tourism village of Pujon Kidul District of Pujon Malang Regency which begore socialization and counselling was 32% to 96%..   Keyword : Local Wisdom, Tourism Potentials, Tourism Village   Abstrak Desa wisata sebagaian besar berbasis pada kearifan lokal desa adalah bentuk kegiatan terintegrasi antara atraksi, akomodasi, fasilitas pendukung dan fasilitas tambahan berupa manajemen desa yang disajikan dalam struktur kehidupan masyarakat yang terikat dengan prosedur tradisi dan norma yang berlaku di desa. Pengembangan desa wisata yang berkelanjutan membutuhkan partisipasi masyarakat lokal dalam seluruh fase pengembangan mulai dari tahap perencanaan, implementasi dan pengawasan serta pengendalian. Desa Pujon Kidul di Kecamatan Pujon Kabupaten Malang merupakan salah satu desa wisata yang dikembangkan oleh masyarakat desa, memiliki potensi wisata dari sector pertanian, peternakan dan industry kecil ke menengah yang didukung kondisi geografi dan klimatologi wilayahnya. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah penguatan promosi desa wisata yang berbasis kearifan lokal dengan mengidentifikasi potensi kawasan wisata desa Pujon Kidul. Pendekatan – pendekatan pelaksanaan pengabdian dengan menggunakan metode Rural Appraisal Approach (RAA) melalui Forum Group Diskusi (FGD) antara aparatur desa Pujon Kidul, Kelompok Sadar Wisata (pokdarwis) dan perwakilan masyakat desa. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah penguatan promosi melalui katalog potensi desa wisata dan pemahaman aparatur desa, masyarakat dan pihak swasta dalam perencanaan pengembangan desa wisata melalui pemanfaatan potensi geografi, pertanian, peternakan dan perkebunan di desa wisata Pujon Kidul Kecamatan Pujon Kabupaten Malang yang sebelum sosialisasi dan penyuluhan sebesar 32%  menjadi 96%.     Kata kunci : Desa Wisata, Potensi wisata, Kearifan Lokal.

(The 3rd ICAGRI 2021) The 3rd ICAGRI-2021 theme is “Sustainable Technologies for Enhancing Agricultural Productivity: Challenges and Current Scenario” Banda Aceh, 13 October 2021 Organized by: Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Syiah Kuala Supported by: Extended Preface The 3rd International Conference on Agriculture and Bioindustry (ICAGRI) is an international conference that brings leading international academia, researchers, policymakers, professionals and stakeholders in the domain of interest from around the world together. Various issues related to Environmental Studies, Soil and Earth Science, Sustainable Agriculture, Agricultural Biotechnology, Agricultural Engineering, Food Science, Animal Husbandry, Biodiversity, Biomaterial and Bioindustry and were discussed to accelerate innovation and technology of resource-based food security and local wisdom. The conference that organized by Agriculture Faculty, Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) was held on October 13, 2021 in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. This year, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the conference was carried out in the form of virtual conference to avoid personnel gatherings. Nevertheless, we can see the enthusiasm of the participants from the number of papers we received. In total, we received 174 submitted papers through submission system, while 59 submission papers were rejected due to irrelevant topics and content concerns. A total of 115 papers were accepted for presentations on the 3rd ICAGRI 2021. Selected papers were compiled into the proceeding after being reviewed rigorously. The conference was not postponed since it has been scheduled and planned for last 6 months. It also related with tight schedule of keynote and invited speakers. Moreover, it is regularly requested by researchers from previous ICAGRI to perform the conference as planned. It was conducted using Zoom platform and lively broadcast through YouTube platform. The conference started by keynote speakers’ presentations, and followed by invited speakers and participant presentations. There was a discussion session after each presentation. We are greatly honored to have Prof. Dr. Ir. Dedi Nursyamsi, M.Agr (representative of minister of agriculture Republic Indonesia), Prof. Dr. Fátima Baptista (University of Évora and MED, Portugal), Dr. Natsumi Kanzaki (Forestry and Forest Products Research Institute, Japan), Prof. Dr. Susanne Neugart (Georg-August-Universitát Gottingen, Germany). A modern animal husbandry needs balanced feeding with rational use of feed and the maximum involvement of unconventional feed. At the same time, issues of increasing the nutritional value of feeds, improving quality, reducing the share of cereals remain urgent, since they occupy a significant part in the composition of the diet and cost structure. The application of modern feed processing technologies increases the efficiency of their use, increases the performance of animal husbandry, as evidenced by numerous experiments. The organization of feed production based on own feed resources significantly reduces the cost of production. The application of a number of technologies has been discussed and justified, which allows obtaining feed with high zootechnical and consumer characteristics, as well as with high rates of nutrition, digestibility and biological value with a significant reduction in the cost of feeding.
