Erau Pelas Benua Guntung is the ritual ceremony that held by Kutai Guntung society Bontang, East Borneo. Erau will be held for seven days. In this ceremony, the erau ritual can’t be held if they are not doing the Pelas Benua. Pelas Benua is a ritual that sorrounds the four direction of the wind in Guntung as the form to clean up from the negative things. This ritual using Dewa-Dewa music as accompanist, the belian communicate to Dewa  Semega, He is The God who control the universe. This research using qualitative method with ethnomusicology perspective. Music Dewa-Dewa is ritual music which is specially used in Pelas Benua procession. Music Dewa-Dewa is an ansamble which consist Klentangan, Gong, Gendang and Gimar instrument.                                                                                                  There are three function of Dewa-Dewa music in this ceremony, as communication, ritual function, and physical response. The form of presentation music Dewa-Dewa always can not be separated with form the context of Pelas Benua ceremony and presenting as the ansamble.

The conclusion of this article is that inter-religious education in the Quran is an education that encourages all students to have an intellectual, moral, achievement and noble personality with humanity and togetherness orientation to develop the principles of democracy, equality and justice in social life and compassion for the universe on the basis of faith in God. Students are required to know the background of each religion and not see it from just one perspective, but also through the perspectives of others to avoid excessive fanaticism in religion that can be a trigger for conflict so far. The article also found two things needed in the construction of Inter-Religious Education, namely; firs! to carry out dialogue by placing each religion in an equal position. Second, develop an attitude of tolerance by providiug opportunities for each religion to urderstand each other. The method that authors use in this study is a qualitative method that is supported by research libraries. While the method of interpretation that authors use is the method of interpretation maudu'i, the authors chose this method because this method can be used as an excavator of lnter-Religious Education according to the Qur'an more comprehensively.

This paper aims to discuss the existence of a form of gondang at the ritual ceremony of Si Pahasada, and how its function at the ritual ceremony of Si Pahasada in Huta High of North Sumatra is the subject matter to be discussed. The method used in this study is by using descriptive qualitative method. Collecting data is done through observation, interview, documentation, and bibliography. In this study it is found that there are 12 dishes reportoar gondang kesumpaan presented during this ritual. In this study also found eight functions of gondang in the ritual of Parmalim Si Pahasada, namely: 1) Aesthetic function, 2) communication functions, 3) symbolic functions, 4) physical response function, 5) enforcing social norms, 5) validation of social institutions. 6) religious ritual function, 7) cultural continuity and stability, 8) contribution to community integration.

<p><em>Religion is a means for humans to connect with God, this relationship is full of mysticism, both introversive mysticism and extraversive mysticism. The Panugrahan Dalem text is one of the literary texts that contains the teachings of extraversive mysticism, namely the teachings of mysticism "outside" from within which refers to the forces of the universe and so on. The method used in this study uses a qualitative method with a literature study. The implementation of extraversive mysticism in the Panugrahan Dalem text lies in the worship of Sang Hyang Pancamahabhuta which consists of Yeh Nyom or Sang Bhuta Agasati, Getih or Sang Bhuta Mrajapati, placenta or Sang Bhuta Banaspati and Lamad or Vernix Caseosa or Sang Bhuta Banaspatiraja which is related to Kanda Pat teachings through chanting of mantras, the use of both the Wianjana script and the Modre script as well as the use and giving of offerings that function to increase magic and kawisesan. There is also the concept of mantras and scripts that are present as a means for treatment or Usada as the implementation of the Extraversive mysticism teachings.</em></p>

Abstrak Suku Banjar yang merupakan suku asli di Kalimantan Selatan sejak dulu mengenal mantra. Mantra pakasih dan papikat adalah salah satu jenis mantra yang dipercaya dapat menimbulkan rasa kasih (pakasih) dan membuat rasa ketertarikan lawan jenis, dalam arti lain sebagai pemikat atau pelet (papikat). Sebagai salah satu genre sastra tradisional, mantra memiliki gaya bahasa yang berbeda dari genre sastra tradisional lainnya baik dari pola bentuk maupun pilihan bahasa yang digunakan. Selain itu, keberadaan mantra tidak terlepas dari unsur kealaman yang terdapat di alam semesta. Pemerian nama-nama tumbuhan dan hewan memiliki peran dalam hadirnya sebuah mantra pakasih dan papikat pada masyarakat suku Banjar. Melalui artikel ini dideskripsikan gaya bahasa dan wujud unsur kealaman yang terdapat dalam mantra pakasih dan papikat masyarakat suku Banjar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini yakni (1) bentuk fisik mantra mantra pakasih dan papikat terdiri atas pola bentuk mantra bebas dan pola bentuk mantra terikat, (2) unsur kealaman mantra pakasih dan papikat seperti unsur alam semesta, hewan/binatang dan tumbuhan. Dalam penelitian ini mantra dikaji dengan kajian stilistika bertitik pada kajian gaya bahasanya dan kajian ekokritik (ekologi) untuk menganalisis unsur lingkungan atau kealaman yang terdapat dalam mantra pakasih dan papikat.Kata kunci: stilistika, unsur kealaman, mantra, pakasih, papikat AbstractThe Banjar tribe, which is an indigenous tribe in South Kalimantan, have always known mantras. Pakasih and papikat mantras are one type of mantra that is often believed to cause love (pakasih) and create a sense of attraction of the opposite sex in another sense as a decoy or pellet (papikat). As one of the traditional literary genres, the mantra has a style of language that is different from other traditional literary genres both from the pattern of shapes and the choice of language used. In addition, the existence of spells is inseparable from the natural elements found in the universe. Descriptions of the names of plants and animals, for example, have a role in the presence of an Pakasih and papikat mantra in the Banjar tribal community. Through this article, a study of the Banjar Pakasih and Papikat mantras is carried out to describe the language of Pakasih and Papar mantras and to describe the manifestation of the natural elements contained in the Banjar Pakasih and Paprat tribal spells. The method in this research uses descriptive qualitative method. The research results obtained in this study (1) the physical form of the mantra spell pakasih and papikat are patterns of free spell forms and bound spell shape patterns, (2) natural elements of the spell pakasih and papikat such as elements of the universe, animals/animals and plants. In this study the mantra is examined by stylistic studies that focus on the study of language style and ecocritical studies (ecology) to analyze the environmental or natural elements contained in the mantra of grace and papillary.Keywords: stylistica, natural elements, mantra, pakasih, papikat

The superhero universe has always been an attraction in the world of film industry. The birth of superhuman ideas has made people increasingly interested in taking the storyline. This research is a literature study on the existence of a new world in Indonesian cinema that takes the theme of Indonesia's superhero universe competes against the universe of American superheroes. The purpose of this study is to compare Indonesian and American superhero films in order to understand the complete concept of depicting Indonesian superheroes in the process of switching from comics to films comparing with the same concepts in American superheroes. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method by comparing films from the Indonesian superhero universe namely Bumilangit Cinematic Universe and Jagad Satria Dewa Cinematic Universe compared to the American superhero universe namely Marvel Cinematic Universe and DC Cinematic Universe. The results obtained that there were some similarities in the process of character formation in each of the heroes that were created, this could be described with similarity in multiple personalities before and after becoming superheroes, costumes worn, storylines and special effects produced in the film. There were fundamental differences that were seen in the background of Indonesian culture that was different from the concept of American culture. Indonesian superheroes also highlighted Pencak Silat as the original identity and characteristics of Indonesia. This research concluded that a story with a superhero concept had the same story pattern such as a person with a superhero alter ego and deep with heroic storyline even though they were presented by different countries.

Students in Islamic boarding schools have difficulty expressing their thoughts verbally using Arabic. Meanwhile, in terms of understanding written texts and reading written language, they have pretty good skills. This study aimed to describe the implementation of the TPR method to improve the speaking skills. This study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The subjects of this study were Arabic teachers and selected students using the snowball technique. Based on the results, the TPR method can break the ice of communicating in Arabic among students, their difficulties in expressing their thoughts can be minimized by getting used to responding to those around them.

AbstrakMasa usia dini disebut juga dengan golden age yang sangat tepat untuk mendukung perkembangan dan pertumbuhan anak. Aspek bahasa merupakan salah satu aspek yang penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan berbagai metode pengenalan berbahasa Inggris di Pioneer Montessori School Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Informan dalam penelitian ini ialah kepala sekolah dan guru. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan terdiri dari observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Sedangkan teknik pengabsahan data menggunakan uji kredibilitas, uji transferabilitas, uji dependabilitas dan uji konfirmabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di Pioneer Montessori School Padang terdapat 12 (dua belas) metode pengenalan berbahasa Inggris untuk anak usia dini. Metode tersebut terdiri dari TPR (Total Physical Response), singing song, dancing, concrete things, art, reward, story telling, three period lesson, games, sport, listen and repeat, serta pembiasaan dan pengulangan dalam berbahasa.  THE INTRODUCTION METHOD TYPE OF ENGLISH AT PIONEER MONTESSORI SCHOOL OF PADANGAbstractThe early childhood era also called by golden age which is precise for them to support their development and growth. Language aspect is one of the important aspect. The purpose of this research is to describe what kind of method th at Pioneer Montessori School of Padang use for introducing English. This researchis  using descriptive- qualitative method. The informantion gained from the head master and  teachers of the school. The technical of data aggregation  are observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis conducted through data reduction, data display, and data verification. The technical of approval was using credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability. The result of research showed that in Pioneer Montessori School of Padang there are 12 (twelve) English introduction methods for early childhood. The method are TPR (Total Pyshical Response), singing song, dancing, concrete things, art, reward, story telling, three period lesson, games, sport, listen and repeat, also habituation and repetition.

This study aims to improve Vocabulary mastery skills using Total Physical Response Method,the low Vocabulary mastery of eight grade in junior high school is caused by two factors,namely run short of understanding of the significancy of Vocabulary by reason of slight of Vocabulary that is owned,then the difficulty of students speaking in English,because of the scant of Vocabulary they have so they are confused when speaking.this study uses descrivtipe qualitative method. the responden of the study is the eight graders of SMP in Cimahi, the total of 33 students with specifications male 21 students and female 12 students. the author pick sampling jenuh on probability sampling.the instruments used were observation sheet,questionnaire,interview and test.data gain out of the instruments that have been used are interview ,observation sheet,questionnaire and tests.the results showed that the Total Physical Response Method was effectively applied in studying Vocabulary because after applied the Total Physical Response Method in the learning process there was an increase in understanding of the signifiance of Vocabulary as well as an increase in student motivation and creativity in following the learning process, and the test outcome of the tests given were satisfactory because the average get a minimum score of 80 and a maximum of 97 with KKM 75.with the accomplishment of these values could be said the use of the Total Physical Response Method can help improve students’ Vocabulary mastery.Keywords: Vocabulary, Total Physical Response Method

This article explaines the i’jaz ‘ilmy of al-Qur’ān in the use of the words sama’ and baṣar. The Qur’an often mentions these two words together in one verse, but what often comes first is the words sama’. This paper wants to know the secret behind the formation of those words using qualitative method, namely collecting data about the object of research in the form of the words sama’ and baṣar. Based on the research conducted, several conclusions have been found that the words sama’ and baṣar in the Qur’an are mentioned thirty-four times, although in some verses the words baṣar takes precedence, but does not change the consistency of the Qur’an in terms of balaghah and its contents. The consistency of al-Qur’an in the mention of the words sama’ which proves first proves that the phenomena that occur in the universe are true, the sense of hearing, especially in humans, is indeed more important than ever since being born into the world until it ends from the world. The words sama’ and baṣar in the form of singular always discuss the individual human responsibility in the hereafter. In addition, it was found that the words sama’ in the form of singular and baṣar in the plural which discusses the signs of God’s power in the world.

AbstractLake Toba is a volcanic-tectonic lake which is rich in natural resources. Wealth and benefits here will keep on exist and continue if humans and nature are in danger of the order of the universe that continues to be pursued together. But the reality is not always the case. Human needs are not limited to degradation of their homes, need ecological awareness that is needed to restore the existing damage. In this study, the method used is a qualitative method with critical theological research. Researchers will implement ecological damage in the Lake Toba area based on informative data. The results obtained indicate the factors causing ecological damage on the part and the parties contributing to the ecological damage are very complex and integrated with each other. This research will be reviewed through Fretheim's perspective that ecological damage in the Lake Toba region will be examined in a necessary relational theology. This theology will help us to see the relational patterns that allow humans to see the broad relations between themselves, God and non-humans. God and His creation are in the interdependence of wholeness. This review will help to critique ecological damage from revised theological studies into a reference to the destructive ecology of community. Thus, awareness of ecological damage is needed as a joint responsibility of every levels of society and the relevance of activities supported by (sustainable creation) because natural damage (Lake Toba) will increase the survival of the community, both today and in the future.Keywords: relational theology; ecological damage; Lake Toba; Fretheim's perspective.AbstrakDanau toba adalah danau vulkano-tektonik yang kaya akan sumber daya alam. Kekayaan dan kemanfaatan di dalamnya akan terus ada dan continue jika manusia dan alam berada dalam harmoni tatanan alam semesta yang terus diupayakan bersama. Namun kenyataan yang ada tidak selalu demikian. Kebutuhan manusia yang tidak terbatas mengakibatkan degradasi lingkungan terhadap tempat tinggalnya, sehingga kesadaran ekologis sangat diperlukan untuk memulihkan kerusakan yang ada. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan tinjauan kritis teologis. Pada metode ini, peneliti akan mengidentifikasi kerusakan ekologi di kawasan Danau Toba berdasarkan data informatif. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor penyebab kerusakan ekologi di dalamnya dan pihak-pihak yang menyumbang kerusakan ekologis terhadapnya sangat kompleks dan terintegrasi satu dengan yang lain. Penelitian ini akan ditinjau melalui perspektif Fretheim yaitu kerusakan ekologi di kawasan Danau Toba akan dikaji dalam sebuah teologi relasional penciptaan. Teologi ini akan membantu melihat pola relasional yang memungkinkan manusia melihat secara luas relasi di antara dirinya (human), Allah dan nonhuman. Allah dan ciptaan-Nya berada dalam interdepensi keutuhan ciptaan yang mencakup kerangka mutualisme. Tinjauan ini akan membantu mengkritisi kerusakan ekologi dari kajian teologis yang diduga menjadi acuan teologi ekologi masyarakat yang destruktif. Dengan demikian, diperlukan kesadaran kerusakan ekologis sebagai mutual responsibility seluruh lapisan masyarakat dan relevansi dari aktivitas penciptaan yang berkelanjutan (creation continua) karena kerusakan alam (Danau Toba) akanmempengaruhi keberlangsungan hidup masyarakat, baik hari ini maupun di masa yang akan datang.Kata kunci: teologi relasional; kerusakan ekologi; danau toba; perspektif Fretheim.
