Nowadays people rely on many things in order to do daily activity. As time goes by, global economy has changed and has had significant growth. The form of money has also changed, from only being available in the physical form, such as coins and banknotes, now we have the digital form of money, otherwise known as virtual currency. This paper discusses about the legal status of Bitcoin as virtual currency in Indonesia according to Law Number 7 of 2011 regarding Currency Law. The author examines the problem by using normative legal research methods with descriptive approach. The data was collected from secondary and primary data and is used as supportive research data. The collected data is analysed using qualitative method. The result of this research is the legal status of Bitcoin as virtual currency in Indonesia according to Law Number 7 of 2011 regarding Currency Law has not been regulated yet. Therefore, the government of Indonesia needs to make a specific regulation to regulate Bitcoin in Indonesia.

This study aims to determine the impact of business planning for the development of MSMEs. The research method uses is a qualitative method with a descriptive and explorative descriptive approach. From the results of the research conducted, the results show that proper business planning and the application of a good marketing strategy have a positive impact on the sustainability of MSME activities. In addition, the quality of production that has a competitive advantage is also one of the driving factors. For the development of MSMEs, there are several obstacles faced, especially related to capital and guidance from the local government. With the development of MSMEs, it is expected to improve people's welfare, including helping the government in reducing unemployment.

The research is aimed at understanding the government policies on cultural tourism and pandemic mitigations in Bali made during the covid-19 pandemic. It uses qualitative method in which the primary data were collected through face-to-face and virtual video interviews to seven informants who were selected using purposive sampling to assure they aware of and understand the researched case; and the secondary data were collected from online publications. The research finds the regional regulation on cultural tourism was amended during the Covid-19 outbreak to strengthen the use of local cultures for tourism adapting both national and international tourism policies to lead to a more responsible tourism designating Bali’s local indigenous cultures of Tri Hita Karana and Sad Kerthi as basis of cultural tourism development in Bali; and more importantly, Bali’s government issued particular policies and  executed immediate measures to reopen tourism in Bali which totally shut down due to pandemic. These policies reacted differently by local people and remains become a hot debate within Balinese communities.

Literary works, such as novel, usually comes from the writer’s feeling; it could be the feeling of love, frustrations, angers, satisfactions, disappointments, satire, and many other feelings towards an individual, social, organizations, even the government. A novel could also be some kind of warning towards the readers so that they could be cautious if there are any similar events happen in their real life. The main objective of this research explains the American manipulative leadership and the American cultural values seen in Ender’s Game and to analyze the effect of American Manipulative Leadership towards its Subordinate shows by Ender’s Game. The researcher uses the qualitative method to analyze the primary data and the supporting data using content analysis to interpret the images, symbols, and words.    This undergraduate thesis concludes two major points. Firstly, American manipulative leadership uses two values; which are risk-taking and the future, change, and progress and forgotten two other values, directness/openness/honesty and freedom of American Cultural values. Secondly, American manipulative leaderships also affect the subordinate psychological condition. And novel can also be called as a popular culture due to its enormous achievement and its consumption by the mass.

This research is aimed identifying the advantages of the regulation of TUPE principles, as well as inhibiting factors for outsourcing companies to apply the TUPE principles after the Decision of the  Constitutional Court Number 27/PUU-IX/ 2011. The research was conducted by using normative-empirical method. The data of the research consisted of primary data and secondary data. All of the collected data were analyzed using qualitative method. The results of this research were presented in a descriptive analysis report. The results of the research indicated he advantages that could be obtained by workers in relation with regulation of the TUPE principles included protection of wages, welfare and working requirements, protection of workers when the company was taken over, protection of workers when there is a change of outsourcing company and regulation of the right to file a lawsuit to the industrial relations court. The inhibiting  factors in the application of the TUPE principles in the  outsourcing companies after the  Decision of Constitutional Court  were the lack of socialization and supervision of the government, various legal loopholes of discrepancies between the implementing regulation and  the Decision of Constitutional Court, uncertainty severance regulation, assumptions that TUPE was a new burden which may disadvantage employers, and the lack of understanding of the workers related to their rights.

This study aims to describe how the development of tourism, including supporting and barrier factors of the government for development of Bukit Khayangan tourism object. And analyze the effect that come from the development of Bukit Khayangan tourism object to the economic of local community. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in this research were conducted by interviews, observations, and documentation. The result showed that there was an increase in facilities after the development, although the cleanliness and safety still were not optimal. The development of Bukit Khayangan tourism object gives contribution to the increase of local community bussiness, one of them is to opening jobs for local community. But, the participation of local community need to be improved to moving forward improve overall the community welfare.

Bihari community has been living in Bangladesh since 1947, after being forced to migrate from various regions of India. Owing to religious differences, the Bihari community was expelled for communal riot from their homeland. Subsequently, they moved to their ideological home propagated by two-nation theory. Bangladesh joined Pakistan as federal state after partition which made Muslims of India, including the Biharis, thought that Bangladesh was also their ideological home. Having a distinct language and culture, the Bihari community could not be able to assimilate into the society of Bangladesh. They had to remain stranded and stuck in between two cultures outside of their home. However, they were given citizenship by the Government of Bangladesh, but still the debate of them being ‘others’ still on. This study aims to trace out the origin of the Bihari community in Bangladesh and to find out their current socio-cultural condition. To reveal their socio-cultural condition, this study used qualitative method. Primary data were collected through semi-structured interviews in two Bihari settlements (camps) at Dhaka city. This study suggests that Bihari identity has been very problematic and still debatable. Even after 70 years, many Biharis have retained their distinct socio-cultural practices, while other chose assimilation. Nevertheless, their deplorable condition has been intensified by abject poverty, social exclusion and lack of entitlements to services affecting their socio-cultural condition.

In the view of Islam, the Dhuafa (orphans, destitute, neglected children) occupy the privileges of Allah SWT and His Apostles as in Surah Al-Maun Verses 1-3, for this, it is needed help from individuals and institutions to be able to maintain survival, and not displaced to become irresponsible people. This study illustrates how the Chairman of the Shine Al-Falah Foundation's leadership in fostering the Minangkabau village boarding school for the poor and the Shine Al-Falah Foundation's synergy with the government, donors, and the community. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive type. Primary data sources are the chairman, the supervisor of the Shine Al-Falah foundation, while the secondary data are the leader of the Islamic Boarding School, the laziswaf management, the orphanage management, the male / female boarding supervisor and the students. Data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed the leadership of the chairman of the Foundation Shine Al-Falah succeeded in fostering the Minangkabau village boarding school to be able to continue to exist in continuing education development by building participatory leadership to all stakeholders and trying to build synergy with relevant government agencies, the community and donors to run the program planned to meet the educational needs, infrastructure, basic food needs and so on that are suitable for children of poor people in Padang city, especially for children in the Minangkabau Village Islamic Boarding School.

The purpose of this study is to explain that the Minangkabau pantun has the power as a medium for developing the Islamic character of students at various levels of Islamic education in Indonesia. Religious rhymes in the Minangkabau Oral Literature: Proverbs, Pantun, and Mantras as one of the effective media to develop the Islamic character of students at various levels of Islamic education in Indonesia. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The primary data used in this study were 22 religious pantun. The results of this study are that this 22 religious pantun are closely related to philosophical values: Islam as the best religion, the implementation of the 5 pillars of Islam, and guidance to become human beings who act according to Islamic teachings in the Koran. Thus, it cannot be denied that this Minangkabau religious rhyme can be used as an effective medium to develop the Islamic character of students at various levels of Islamic education in Indonesia.

The economy has changed dramatically since the COVID-19 outbreak began. The impact that occurred in Indonesia was almost on all fronts, and the Government continued to issue policies due to this impact. Tax policies that are designed to provide incentives for affected taxpayers are expected to increase economic growth. This research was conducted to map 14 Tax Policies in three Regulations issued by the Government based on the objective of reducing the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach obtained. Then perform data analysis using three stages of analysis techniques in the form of data collection, data reduction, and concluding. The results of the study state that Indonesia has issued a policy to help taxpayers who are affected by COVID-19. Benefits for taxpayers, namely a reduction in rates to an exemption from income tax, the goal is that the economy which has stopped moving up becomes stable. Thalassemia is a hereditary disease that until now there is no effective treatment for healing, this disease is not contagious and generally attacks children with a variety of typical symptoms that can be detected since the age of a toddler (under five years). In the city of Surabaya there were 520 sufferers, this number was based on data from the administrators gathered in the organization of the POPTI (Association of Indonesian thalassemia Parents) in the city of Surabaya. There is a pattern of empowerment carried out by the management of POPTI in Surabaya to parents whose children suffer from thalassemia, as well as to adult patients. The thing to do is to conduct routine assistance at Dr. Soetomo Surabaya hospital every Tuesday and Wednesday. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the pattern of empowerment carried out by POPTI (Association of Parents with thalassemia Indonesia) in Surabaya in the treatment of thalassemia in Surabaya. This study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, with the primary data of the study obtained through in-depth interviews with 9 (nine) parents whose children suffered from thalassemia as key informants, the details of which consisted of 3 (three) POPTI administrators in Surabaya and 6 (six) members POPTI city of Surabaya. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, the conclusions of the study are: 1) The joining of parents in the POPTI city of Surabaya provides many benefits in the care of their children who suffer from thalassemia in Dr. Soetomo Hospital Surabaya; 2) The form of empowerment patterns carried out by parents of elderly patients who are members of the POPTI container in Surabaya starts with routine mentoring which results in a shared value for parents; 3) There is a tiered learning pattern from patients who are considered senior to teach other patients in terms of understanding and ability to understand the flow of care services to thalassemia patients
