Sevel is a well known brand for convinience store that has thousand outlets in seventeen countries. In June 2018 Sevel had to stop their business in Indonesia due to the buyout failure by Charoen Pokphand. Sevel should have still operate their business as they have strong management and infrastructure to do so. The purpose of this study is to examine whether the business strategies they had been running for is the right strategies and if its not, what kind of strategies should be applied for the company business. The analysis methods of this research use five matrix, i.e Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) Matrix, Eksternal Factor Evaluation (EFE) Matrix, Competitive Profil Matriks (CPM), SWOT Matrix, SPACE Matrix, Internal Eksternal (IE) Matrix and QSPM. The QSPM matrix result shows that Sevel should focus on market penetration strategy in 2016 as there were so many factors, either form internal or eksternal environment, to support their action plan while they still can run few strategies from retrenchement strategy as necessary.

This research aims to formulate and select BMT Al- Ittihad Rumbai strategy to face the changing of business environment both from internal environment such as organization resources, finance, member and external  business such as competitor, economy, politics and others. This research method used Analysis of EFAS, IFAS, IE Matrix, SWOT-8K Matrix, SPACE Matrix and TWOS Matrix. our hope from this research it can assist BMT Al-Ittihad in formulating and selecting strategies for the sustainability of BMT Al-Ittihad in the future. The sample in this research is manager and leader of BMT Al-Ittihad Rumbai Pekanbaru. The result of this research shows that the position of BMT Al-Ittihad using IE Matrix, SWOT-8K Matrix and SPACE Matrix is in growth position, stabilization and aggressive. The choice of strategy after using TWOS Matrix is market penetration, market development, vertical integration, horizontal integration, and stabilization

This research was conducted to help Youngsterpro companies determine appropriate business strategies in order to improve performance. This study applies qualitative methods through field research to the parties concerned in obtaining information, besides that also based on literature studies and analytical methods in strategy formulation here consists of three stages, the input by analyzing SWOT, EFE matrix, IFE matrix to summarize the basic information used to produce an alternative strategy in Matching stage, is the second stage, by aligning external and internal factors using the SWOT matrix and SPACE matrix, and the last is the decision making stage to determine the best strategy for the company based on the attractiveness of each strategy objectively through the QSPM matrix . The results of the study recommend Youngsterpro companies to consider a diversification strategy because it is the best strategy that is most appropriate for Youngsterpro besides that the product development strategy can also be considered as an alternative strategy to improve performance.

In a very competitive market conditions the company must have a thorough understanding about the condition of its internal and external of the company to determine an appropriate strategy. This research aims to know the proper competitive advantage strategies for PT Semen Tonasa is done by. Descriptive research is done by collecting data through observation, FGD and interviews. After IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) and EFE (External Factor Evaluation) and SWOT analysis, PT Semen Tonasa should focus their efforts on pursuing growth. Based on the analysis of the QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) retrieved the right strategy to do is market penetration. PT Semen Tonasa should increase market share in the area of the market with a hefty profit margin do cost efficiency in every stage of the production process.

The purpose of this research is to know the external and internal environmental factors by using the EFE and IFE matrix that lead to the competition changes and seek the alternative strategies by applying SWOT matrix as well as by specifying or selecting the most appropriate strategy through QSPM at Batik Labor Group Production on Keser Notog , Patikraja, Banyumas. This research implemented descriptive research based on the case study that applied qualitative and quantitative approach. The data collection related to the research was accomplished in several stages. It was started by interviews or Focus Group Discussion (FGD) by providing questionnaires to the concerned stakeholders. The data analysis was conducted through Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) Matrix; External Factor Evaluation Matrix (EFE) Matrix; Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat (SWOT); and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). The results of this study shows that the strategy on creating a unique styles and motifs of batik is the best alternative strategy to be implemented in Batik Labor Groups Production on Keser Notog, Patikraja, Banyumas, Central Java with the TAS value of 6.22 for QSPM matrix. This strategy is the most appropriate approach to be implemented to enhance the competitive advantage to face the various kinds of threats and weaknesses and to strengthen the competitiveness in business production of Batik in Keser Notog, Patikraja, Banyumas, Central Java.

PT Garuda Wirapati Paksi (WGP) is a private corporation engaged in the Security and Rescue Services Business Sector (BUJPP) in guarding. Many challenges arise from the external environment such as unstable political and economic conditions, competition among companies and the entry of foreign firms. To face the above phenomenon, the right and effective business strategy is the right tool for avoiding the challenge. Business strategy planning is absolutely necessary for companies that want to survive in the future. The research method is descriptive. Data collection techniques used are questionnaire and interview with relevant parties within the company. The data have been obtained that, in the analysis through three phases, namely input, matching, and decision stage. The final results of this study concluded that the proposed effective business strategy for PT Garuda Wirapati Paksi based on QSPM matrix is Market Penetration Strategy. This strategy is considered to reduce business risk arising as a result of significant changes to the external environment of the company.

<p><em>This study aims to analyze the cost, revenue, profits, profitability, analyze internal and external factors, alternative strategies and prioritize strategies for developing the home industry of soybean tempeh in Karanganyar Regency. The data analysis methods used are 1) business analysis to find out the cost, revenue, profit, profitability; 2) IFE Matrix; 3) EFE Matrix; 4) IE Matrix; 5) SWOT Matrix; 6) QSPM Matrix. The results showed that the average cost of the soybean tempeh home industry business in Karanganyar Regency was IDR14,058,002.96 and the average revenue was IDR15,675,000.00 with an average profit of IDR1,616,997.04 and profitability of 11,50 %. Analysis of the matrix of IFE home industry in soybean tempeh in Karanganyar is strong with value of 2,877. The results of the EFE matrix also show it is classified as strong with a value of 2,680. The position is in cell 5, namely in the division guarding and maintaining through market penetration strategies and product development strategies. Based on the SWOT matrix, there were eight alternative strategies which were then selected by the four appropriate strategies based on consideration of the IE matrix results, to assess their attractiveness in the QSPM matrix. The highest value of attraction (TAS) of 5,522 is forming institutions or organizations to facilitate access to market, capital, raw material and technology information. </em></p><p><em><br /></em></p><p><strong>Abstrak</strong><em>: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis besarnya biaya, penerimaan, keuntungan, profitabilitas, menganalisis faktor internal dan eksternal, alternatif strategi serta prioritas strategi pegembangan industri rumah tangga tempe kedelai di Kabupaten Karanganyar. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah (1) analisis usaha untuk mengetahui besarnya biaya, penerimaan, keuntungan, profitabilitas (2) Matriks IFE (3) Matriks EFE (4) Matriks IE (5) Matriks SWOT (6) Matriks QSPM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata biaya selama sebulan pada usaha industri rumah tangga tempe kedelai di Kabupaten Karanganyar sebesar Rp14.058.002,96 dan rata-rata penerimaan Rp15.675.000,00 dengan rata-rata keuntungan adalah Rp1.616.997,04 serta profitabilitas 11,50%. Analisis matriks IFE industri rumah tangga tempe kedelai di Kabupaten Karanganyar tergolong kuat dengan nilai 2,877. Hasil dari matriks EFE juga menunjukan bahwa industri tersebut tergolong kuat dengan nilai 2,680. Posisi industri tersebut berada pada sel 5 yaitu pada divisi menjaga dan mempertahankan melalui strategi penetrasi pasar dan strategi pengembangan produk. Berdasarkan hasil matriks SWOT diperoleh delapan alternatif strategi yang selanjutnya terpilih empat strategi yang sesuai berdasarkan pertimbangan hasil matriks IE, untuk dinilai daya tariknya pada matriks QSPM. Nilai daya tarik (TAS) tertinggi sebesar 5,522 yaitu membentuk lembaga atau organisasi untuk mempermudah akses informasi pasar, permodalan, bahan baku dan teknologi. </em></p>

Abstract: Competition in the business world in Indonesia in the era of globalization is very strict at the national, regional and international levels. The success of SMEs in Indonesia is inseparable from the role of government and SMEs themselves in an effort to develop SME business activities to achieve competitive advantage. This study aims to analyze the differentiation strategy of Baduy’s woven fabrics as an effort to gain competitive advantage and alternative strategies that can be done to obtain a competitive advantage. Primary data is obtained by questionnaires and interviews with craft makers and local governments through the Department of Industry and Trade / SMI and the SME office. Secondary data is obtained from the Department of Industry and Trade. The technical data analysis used is descriptive quantitative method, through analysis of internal and external factors, SWOT analysis of matrix, space matrix and IE matrix. The results of the analysis using the SWOT matrix are obtained industrial position in an aggressive strategy alternative, by aggressive expansion and promotion. In Internal External Matrix (IE Matrix), results obtained from the position of the Baduy’s weaving industry are in quadrant V (five) with alternative concentration strategies through horizontal integration or stability strategies. SPACE Analysis matrix produces a position in quadrant I (one) with an aggressive strategy alternative. This research model is expected to be an input for the Lebak Regional Government for strategic alternatives in obtaining competitive advantages so that it can help increase the productivity of the Baduy tribe, and be able to contribute or add value in the family even in the regional economy. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi yang diterapkan pada layanan Belanja Kriing di Pasar Anom Baru Sumenep dan merumuskan alternatif strategi baru dengan melihat faktor internal dan eksternal serta menentukan strategi alternatif prioritas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik analisis menggunakan matriks IFAS-EFAS, matriks IE, matriks SWOT, dan matriks QSPM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Layanan Belanja Kriing Pasar Anom Baru Sumenep berada pada posisi hold and mantain sehingga strategi yang sebaiknya dilakukan adalah penetrasi pasar dan pengembangan produk. Hasil analisis SWOT merekomendasikan strategi yang sebaiknya dilakukan adalah Strength-Oppotunity (SO) yang mencakup dua alternatif strategi yang kemudian diurutkan dengan matriks QSPM untuk mendapatkan strategi prioritas. Hasil matriks QSPM mengurutkan dua alternatif strategi yaitu strategi memanfaatkan harga yang sesuai dengan daya beli masyarakat saat pandemi covid-19 dengan skor TAS tertinggi sebesar 5,34 dan strategi menyediakan lebih banyak variasi kebutuhan masyarakat dengan skor TAS sebesar 4,73. Kedua strategi tersebut menjadi saran manajemen strategi yang bisa dilakukan dalam pelaksanaan Layanan Belanja Kriing. Namun rekomendasi strategi yang sebaiknya diprioritaskan adalah memanfaatkan harga yang sesuai dengan daya beli masyarakat saat pandemi covid-19.Kata kunci: Covid-19, Manajemen Strategi, SWOT, QSPMABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze the strategies applied to the Kriing Shopping service at the Anom Baru Market in Sumenep and to formulate new alternative strategies by looking at internal and external factors and determining priority alternative strategies. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with analysis techniques using the IFAS-EFAS matrix, IE matrix, SWOT matrix, and QSPM matrix. The results showed that the Anom Baru Sumenep Market Kriing Shopping Service was in a hold and maintain position, so the best strategies to do were market penetration and product development. The results of the SWOT analysis recommend that the strategy that should be carried out is Strength-Oppotunity (SO) which includes two alternative strategies which are then sorted by the QSPM matrix to get a priority strategy. The results of the QSPM matrix rank two alternative strategies, namely the strategy of utilizing prices that are in accordance with the purchasing power of the community during the Covid-19 pandemic with the highest TAS score of 5.34 and the strategy of providing more variety of community needs with a TAS score of 4.73. The two strategies are strategic management suggestions that can be done in the implementation of Kriing Shopping Services. However, the recommended strategy that should be prioritized is to take advantage of prices that are in accordance with the purchasing power of the community during the Covid-19 pandemic.Keywords: Covid-19, Strategic Management, SWOT, QSPM

Manokwari District is the base of raising beef cattle, and the production of seeds, feed, livestockproduction facilities.This activity production facilities strongly supports the achievement of good beef cattle productivity.The objectives of the research were (1) to identify factors influencing the development of beef cattle business, (2) to establish the scale of beef cattle and appropriate marketing and (3) to develop alternative strategy of beef cattle business development for improvement income of farmers of Manokwari District.Processing and data analysis used: (1) External Factor Evaluation (EFE) andInternal Factor Evaluation (IFE), (2) external internal (IE) matrix; (3) Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats (SWOT); and (4) Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) analysis. Determination of priority strategies with QSPM, based on the results of alternative strategies resulting from the SWOT matrix. Based on the calculation of QSPM matrix, there are three strategic priorities that can be implemented, namely (1) strengthening the capital to compete, (2) expanding the market share of beef cattle, and (3) improving the quality of beef cattle.
