<em><span lang="EN-US">The uniqueness of Balinese culture in the form of folklore (satua), should be preserved as an ancestral heritage that contains elements of education, especially in character building. One of the existing folklore is the Kebo Iwa story where its existence is starting to be forgotten. By one of the sons of Bali, the story of Kebo Iwa is presented in the form of geguritan as an educational medium with Hinduism in mind. Geguritan Kebo Iwa was formed by pupuh who were already known to the public, bound by the Padalingsa rules. The work of Mr. I Nyoman Suprapta uses the common Balinese language and the presentation time is short so that the contents and meanings are easy to understand, can provide enlightenment and foster a sense of pride, especially to the younger generation of Bali. The general purpose of research is as an effort to explore, preserve, develop, and describe conceptual values. The specific objectives are to find out the form, explain the function, and understand the value of character education in Geguritan Kebo Iwa. The concepts presented are form, function, and character education, which are guided by structuralism theory, function theory, semiotic theory and value theory. This type of research uses qualitative research. The primary data source is the Geguritan Kebo Iwa manuscript, the secondary data includes books, magazines, and other libraries that are considered relevant, as well as the results of observations, interviews, literature studies and documentation to ensure the truth of the data obtained.</span></em>

<em>Some gampongs in Aceh Besar have established gampong reusam on child protection in written form. Reusam which usually regulates public behavior about habits undertaken by the public in an unwritten form, is now beginning to be written in written form. The formation of gampong reusam was formed by Tuha Peut Gampong which was discussed together with the keuchik and community leaders of the gampong. This research aims to find out how the process of reusam formation of child protection in Aceh Besar and how the role of Tuha Peut in determining the direction of development of child protection reusam in Aceh Besar. This research uses qualitative research with data source from primary data obtained through interview with Keuchik, Tuha Peut Gampong and Female Woman. Secondary data is obtained through documentation studies in the library. The results showed that the process of forming a village reusam on Child Protection was established through the involvement of elements and community leaders, even women were involved in the preparation. Tuha Peut has an important role in the development of a gampong reusam that adopts local and applicable local values in Aceh. These values are deliberation, mediation and the use of adat sanctions for child offenders in cases that occur, such as Advice, Warning, apology, fines, compensation, returned to the family, Establishment of Child Protection Committees dealing with law and engagement government agencies.</em>

This study attempts to analyze a fairy tale novel entitled “The Adventure of Pinocchio”, which talks about the story of the irrepressible marionette who longed to become a real boy. This study focuses on revealing the categories of moral value and describing the building children's character implied in this novel. To analyze this novel, the researcher uses two principles theory to find out the objectives of the studies. There are moral values argued by Linda & Eyre and the theory of children’s character building based on Lewis. The method of this study is qualitative research, which means it does not need statistical procedure to analyze the material. This study merely uses “The Adventure of Pinocchio,” a novel by Carlo Collodi, translated into English version by Carol Della Chiesa as the primary data source. At the same time, the secondary data sources are taken from other literary books and related references to support and complete the primary data. As a result, the researcher finds that some elements of moral values such as love and affection, sensitivity and not-selfish, bravery, self-discipline, and moderation occurred in the content of the novel. Meanwhile, building children's character can be implied through “The Adventure of Pinocchio's” fairy tale: honesty, responsible, regard, respect, and compassionated.

ABSTRACTResidue of Pesticides on Horticultural Crops (Case Study in Cihanjuang Rahayu Village, Parongpong District, West Bandung Regency)The purpose of this study was to investigate the type of residual concentrate of chlorpyrifos pesticides accumulated in horticultural crops, the impact of pesticide residues to the public health and daily intake assumption. This study used a quantitative approach to survey methods to know in depth about pesticide residues on horticultural crops where the data source consisted of primary data obtained from interviews and the results of chemical analysis and secondary data collected directly from some sources. In several types of insecticides used by farmers in Cihanjuang Rahayu village, there are kind of insecticides that did not recommended to control pests on broccoli. Based on the analysis of pesticide residues, residue results were obtained from four broccoli samples with 10%, 20%, 60% and 80% greater than the maximum residue limit. This suggests that the four samples tested contain harmful residues exceeding the maximum limit of 2 ppm residue. Health effects of pesticides on farmers included nausea, vomiting, dizziness and itching of the skin. The calculating results of intake assumption on the risk of health obtained the result of 1,505 g/day with the highest value of 4,014 g/day and the lowest risk was the amount of intake of 423 g/day. From the results of these calculations, it can be seen that the amount of consumption of vegetables and horticulture was having average risk to farmers as much as 1,505 g/day.Keywords: Residue, Pesticides, Horticulture, BroccoliABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui jenis konsentrat residu pestisida klorpirifos yang terakumulasi pada tanaman hortikultura, dampak residu pestisida bagi masyarakat dan asumsi asupan beresiko kesehatan per hari. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan metode survei bersifat kuantitatif dengan sumber data primer yang diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dan hasil analisis kimia serta data sekunder yang dikumpulkan secara langsung dari narasumber. Beberapa jenis insektisida yang digunakan oleh petani di Desa Cihanjuang Rahayu, Bandung Barat terdapat jenis insektisida yang tidak direkomendasikan untuk mengendalikan hama pada tanaman brokoli. Hasil analisis terhadap residu pestisida pada empat sampel tanaman brokoli diperoleh residu pada keempat sampel yang diuji dengan persentase 10%, 20%, 60% dan 82% dari batas maksimum residu. Dampak penggunaan pestisida terhadap kesehatan petani yaitu berupa mual-mual, muntah, pusing dan gatal-gatal pada kulit. Hasil perhitungan asumsi asupan beresiko kesehatan melalui analisis pemajanan diperoleh hasil 1.505 g/hari dengan nilai tertinggi 4.014 g/hari dan jumlah asupan beresiko terendah adalah 423 g/hari. Dari hasil perhitungan tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa jumlah konsumsi sayuran dan hortikultura rata-rata beresiko oleh para petani adalah sebesar 1.505 g/hari.Kata Kunci: Residu, Pestisida, Hortikultura, Brokoli

The purpose of this study was to analyze the efforts of the police in overcoming criminal acts of corruption and to analyze the obstacles faced by the police in overcoming criminal acts of corruption. The study used empirical research type. Data collection techniques in this study were through direct interviews with respondents as the primary data source and through literature study as a secondary data source. The data analysis technique used was qualitative technique. The results showed that the efforts made by the police to tackle corruption were in the form of preemptive, preventive, and repressive measures. Preemptive efforts were in the form of educating the public through pamphlets, brochures, and banners that contained all matters relating to corruption. Preventive efforts by way of synergizing with law enforcement officials, improving coordination, investigation, and investigation functions in ten areas prone to corruption, and responding to public demanded to accelerate investigations. Repressive measures in the form of sanctions against corruptors in accordance with the law. The obstacles faced in overcoming corruption were internal constraints, namely the slow disbursement of program budgets for pre-emptive and preventive activities, as well as external obstacles, namely the lack of understanding of corruption by the public.

West Aceh Regency is an education center in the South West region of Aceh because it has seven universities, which consists of three state universities and four private universities. With the seven universities is expected to improve the quality of public education in West Aceh, one of them with the help of mass media such as local radio, Indonesian Republic Radio Meulaboh. This study focused on only two state universities, namely the University of Teuku Umar and the State Islamic Institute Meulaboh. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive research method. The primary data source is the result of interview excerpts with informants, while the secondary data in the supporting documents. The data collection technique consists of the interviews, observation and documentation. IRR Meulaboh role in disseminating education can be seen from its programs 'Universitaria'. The program provides a space for University to be able to say hello to direct the public to provide the latest information through informants experts without the cost of socialization and education programs can reduce the information gap for people so that clarity and transparency in accessing information university met, especially for those who have the economic burden to continue education outside of the region to make the university in West Aceh as the main option. Keywords: west aceh, university, IRR meulaboh

This research aims to analyse the values of education contained in the movie "Spare Parts" which can be used as a source in the aspect of education in everyday life. This type of research is the study of libraries, using a qualitative descriptive approach. The primary data source on this study was to observe directly the movie "Spare Parts". Data collection techniques by watching, recording and studying literature. The results showed that there were character education values contained in the film Spare Parts. The values of character education in the movie Spare Parts can be understood from the dialogue and scenes played by the players. Spare Parts Movie has many meanings about the character education in it, which the author of the Raangkum include the values of discipline, hard work, creative, curiosity, appreciating achievement, friendly/communicative. The meaning of the FIM will be very relevant in education, especially in Indonesia, that is a character education. This Film can be used as a learning medium aimed at character building.

The purpose of this study was to describe the role of Family Planning and Vice builder Family Planning Villages in disseminating contraceptives in the village of the District Kebonagung Sukodono and constraints faced in the field. This study uses data source in the form of primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques by observation, interview and documentation.  While  the data analysis techniques used in this research is descriptive analysis with qualitative approach that includes: data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results indicate of this study that the role of PLKB and PPKBD have been performing their duties and functions in  accordance with the rules, but there are some employees that the power of a response is slow, zoning does not fit the rules due to the small number of officers, and their dual position. So that the delivery of information to the public to experience problems. At least the officer due to their employees who retired due to age and system of recruitment moratorium and that no return.

According to the Islamic perspective, a teacher is an educator who has a very noble task. As explained by Al-Ghozali, the teacher has a duty to educate and improve morals (adab) and to provide in-depth knowledge with the aim of increasing faith in Allah. Meanwhile, Ibn Abd al-Barr explained the figure of a teacher as someone who should adorn himself with Islamic manners. So, teachers should improve their ethics (adab). KH. Najih Maimoen Zubair also highlighted the importance of ethics for teachers. So that it has a book entitled the educational character of Abuya Sayyid Alwi Al-Maliki. KH. Najih discussed the educational character of Abuya Sayyid Alwi Al-Maliki in detail. Based on the above background, the researcher is interested in conducting specific research on how the concept of ethics of the perspective of the teacher of Abuya As-Sayyid Muhammad Alwi Al-Maliki and its relevance was presented by KH. Najib Maimoen Zubair in his book entitled Character Education of Abuya As-Sayyid Muhammad Alawi Al-Maliki. This study uses the literature study method, the primary data source is a book by KH. Najih Maimun Zubair, entitled Educational Character Abuya As-Sayyid Muhammad Alawi Al-Maliki and secondary data sources in this study using several supporting sources from various books and articles such as the book written by KH.M. Hasyim Asyari, entitled adabul alim wal muta'alim, the analysis used is content analysis. The conclusion in this study, explains that the ethics of the perspective teacher Abuya As-Sayyid Muhammad Alwi Al-Maliki is divided into two parts. First, the ethics that teachers must have in themselves, include: Getting closer to Allah, having a love for knowledge, having noble character traits, having a noble character and having a character like writing (making works). Second, it is the ethics of teachers to students and the surrounding community, as well as ethics that are embedded in a teacher, it is not enough to stop with him. implementing darmawan, implementing noble character, getting used to loving the faqir and the poor, and teachers are required to be able to implement the nature of love for experts in science. a concept and implementation of teacher ethics that is very relevant to the changing times and the domination of young teachers in the millennial era.

The purpose of this study is to describe the model for planning, implementing, and evaluating training, as well as the character to be formed through these activities. This study uses a qualitative method. Methods of data collection in the form of interviews and documentation. The approach used is a pedagogic, psychological, and managerial approach. Purposive sampling is the starting point for researchers to determine informants. There are two sources of data used, namely primary data, obtained from data sources or informants involved in the implementation of the Character Building Training (CBT) UIN Alauddin Makassar. Secondary data, the researchers quoted from books, especially books and modules of Character Building Training (CBT) UIN Alauddin Makassar, theses, scientific journals and online, scientific magazines, and various relevant references with the title of the thesis. The results of this study indicate that character education is the development of moral education. Morality comes from the Supreme Absolute while character education is based on religious values, culture, and state ideology. The implementation of character education activities at the Character Building Training (CBT) UIN Alauddin Makassar requires support in the form of policies, a conducive academic atmosphere, and a thorough evaluation of student character building. The implication of the research shows that character education at CBT UIN Alauddin Makassar with a dense volume of activities will give birth to enlightened generations with an increasing number of alumni.

This study aims to determine the value of character education contained in the meaning of the variety of movements Mayang Rontek Dance Mojokerto district. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The object of this study is the variety of movements Mayang Rontek Dance. The data source of this research was obtained from primary data sources, namely the results of observing the variety of movements of Mayang Rontek Dance through video of Mayang Rontek DIYoutube, as well as secondary data sources obtained from the collection of journals, books on Mayang Rontek Dance, and other documents containing analysis of research conducted. Data collection techniques through literature study. Literature study is conducted to obtain existing data, either in the form of photos, videos or other documents related to the research object to be examined. Analysis techniques include analyzing data, presenting data, and concluding. The results of the various movements of the Mayang Rontek Dance show that this dance contains the value of character education which is depicted in various movements of the Mayang Rontek Dance. Some of the various movements include Melampah Songgo Nompo, bukak nggawar kanan dan kiri, mlampah ngloro, mentang nggawar, nogo mangap, mlampah prapatan, kencrongan, bedhayan gajah oling, tmpang tali jombangan, dan lembeyan. The meaning of the movement consists of: 1) About sincerity and gratitude to God Almighty, 2) about human problems and their resolution, 3) about human life will not always be smooth, and 4) about humans having good, bad, and own attitudes lust.
