The author analyzes the place and role of the humanities in the modern structure of scientific activity from the point of view of utility. You can see that discussions of this kind are characteristic not only of domestic, but also foreign science. There are numerous examples of substantiation of general cultural, ideological and narrowly utilitarian understanding of the usefulness of humanitarian knowledge in a modern university. The conclusion offers our own interpretations of the answer to the posed questions.

<p>During the COVID-19 pandemic, guidance and counseling teachers are demanded to keep running counseling services using various alternatives of online learning applications. At the same time, parents as the main assistants in the online counseling process should actively encourage their children to have active participation. It is because the majority of parents consider that all the things related to school activities are totally teachers’ responsibility. Thus, the present study attempted to find, reveal, and describe the role of parents in the implementation of supporting technology for online counseling services during the COVID-19 pandemic. Scavengers can provide ecosystem services to people by removal of dead animals that could become sources of disease. From such point of view, it seems appropriate to evaluate these benefits in Azerbaijan in quantitative terms. To this end, in 2013, an extensive monitoring was organized in the Turyanchay Reserve, which covers six regions and neighboring territories (the total population here is 640 thousand people). A high level of animal mortality in the Turyanchay Reserve is supported by the concentration of 24 species of wild mammals and 700 thousand domestic animals in the surrounding environment. The difficult terrain area is another factor leading to the death of animals. Animals grazing on hillsides often break down and die. The bodies of domestic and wild animals killed by wolves also often remain lying on this territory. In addition, vehicles traveling along the Agdash-Gabala highway cause the death of many domestic and wild animals. During the two months of the study (from June to July), 62 dead animals were found. Ten kinds of diseases were identified in 38 undecomposed bodies of these animals. Scavengers eat animal bodies in one-three days (without bones), preventing them from becoming a source of infection. The role of necrophages in minimizing of epizootic cases and improving sanitary conditions is important for ecosystems, because the blood of most animals is a carrier of diseases and most of the parasites present in it are common to both humans and animals. Scavengers can be used by veterinary organizations as indicators to simplify the identification of animal bodies and the subsequent disposal of their remains.

The study aimed to identify the level of teachers’ awareness of smart schools in Jordan. In addition, it sought to find the statistical significant differences (α=0.05) of the level of teachers’ awareness of smart schools in Jordan according to gender, qualifications and experience. The study used the descriptive approach. The researchers developed a questionnaire that consisted of 35 items to collect the data from the study sample. The study population consisted of 1,554 teachers, with the study sample consisting of 466 teachers who were chosen according to the stratified sample approach. The study results showed that Jordanian teachers have different levels of awareness of the smart schools philosophy, principles, requirements, and benefits. Teachers are aware of some elements of smart schools but are not aware of others. Teachers have a high level of awareness that smart schools have become a necessary part of the political, social, economic and educational development of contemporary nations. However, their awareness is moderate on the role of smart schools in promoting participatory (or cooperative) education that allows the exchange of experiences among learners who them benefit from each other. Also, their awareness is moderate on the role of smart schools in the transition of schools to be learning organizations and community institutions that are not separated from the local communities and their realities and problems, and contribute efficiently to the process of comprehensive development. In light of the study findings, it is recommended that the Ministry of Education start a national project to transfer Jordanian schools from their current traditional settings to be smart schools in the near future. In addition, the Ministry of Education and private schools should make Jordanian teachers aware of the philosophies, requirements, and the effectiveness of smart schools.

Self-employment in Russia characterized by a high level of shadow employment. The special tax regime was designed to carry out this activity from shadow. In this case, it is necessary to take into account the peculiarities of the taxpayers behavior and their tax culture. The purpose of the article is to study the tax culture, factors influencing its demonstration in the taxpayers behavior, as well as to identify the features of tax culture in the field of self-employment. The information base of the article composed documents regulating the activities of self-employed, statistical data on the quantity, structure and dynamics of self-employment in the Russia and other countries, sociological surveys of self-employed. The main difference in the interpretation of tax culture is associated with the definition of its subjects. Therefore, the role of subjective factors in the taxpayers behavior is often overestimated. It is concluded that it is necessary to consider the issue of the tax culture of the self-employed not only from the point of view of their mentality, but first of all from the point of view of the external conditions of their activity. Low and irregular incomes, lack of social guarantees and financial support lead to the formation of the self-employed tax culture in the conditions of «survival». In this regard, actions to improve the tax culture by influencing internal factors are ineffective.

The article analyzes the heritage of Avesto from a philosophical point of view and gives a philosophical interpretation of the role of myths. At the same time, special attention is paid to the perception of the structure of the world. The ideas and philosophy of Avesto that have come down to us show that our ancestors who lived in the Zoroastrian era had a high level of worldview and thinking. Even in these distant times, our ancestors are struck by the fact that the deepest thinking, attitude to nature, existence, integrity and integrity of the universe, nature and human dignity, as well as the preservation of the Motherland are the main tasks of mankind.

The issue of community independence is the central theme of national development which is the responsibility of all elements of the nation, including government, the private sector and any organization. Viewed from the government's point of view, this is clearly seen from the partisanship of empowerment policies and development through village funds that are very adequate to reach a developed and empowered village. The implementation or practice of corporate social responsibility has a direct influence on the role of community institutions and the role of community institutions directly influences the strengthening of community social capital. This community institution directly influences the improvement of community welfare and CSR programs must be able to increase community capacity for long-term activities (sustainable). The company must continue to encourage program recipients to have responsibility and ownership of the program implemented in order to strengthen social capital and the Company must implement a more concrete CSR program in increasing income economically because it is the main goal in the concept triple bottom CSR.
