Imbauan di ruang publik merupakan suatu ajakan, imbauan, dan peringatan pada ma-syarakat untuk melaksanakan apa yang dikehendaki oleh pembuat imbauan (pengua-sa). Dengan demikian, bahasa merupakan unsur penting dalam penerapan kekuasaan. Penelitian ini mengkaji representasi kekuasaan pada imbauan di ruang publik dengan berdasarkan empat aspek kekuasaan, yaitu pandangan dominatif individu atau ke-lompok terhadap individu atau kelompok yang lain, jarak sosial, praktik dominasi, dan praktik membangun kekuasaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya representasi kekuasaan pada imbauan di ruang publik.Appeal in public space is a request, direction, and warning to public to carry out what is required by the makers of the appeal (the ruling). Thus, language is an important element in the exercise of power. This study examines the power representation on the public space appeal based on four of power aspects, namely individual or group dominative perspective to other individual or group, social distance, the practice of domination, and the practice of building power. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The research result showed that there was a tendency of power representation.

Title: Revitalization of Citra Niaga Samarinda Arena promotions and shopping centers nowadays called Citra Niaga as an icon of the capital of Samarinda, which was built in 1984. The design of Citra Niaga is directed to the concept of "Night Market" which makes Citra Niaga as a business space and recreation areas for the attractive public. But in a fact, the icon of Samarinda is not desirable again by the public because they have an issue that makes this icon become weak and has not good quality or as a good public space standardization (Issue of Concern), such as security, safety, health, attraction, comfort, accessibility and also raciness . And to comply those criteria, it should be have good components (Scope of Issue), for this research it can be used qualitative descriptive method it based on the fact in the field and also the real evidence. This approach based on revitalization theory and good space public theory. For the conclusion, the standardization, a space of quality must have normative criteria so a space public can be survive. Baron Beach is a public space that becomes an icon of Gunungkidul Regency. The conditions of a waterfront that have a river and surrounded by hills also the presence of fishing activities attract visitors. Various kinds of activities that occur in this public open space at the same time with different interests, can cause conflicts between activities even though there are also activities that are in line with each other. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method that compares data to utilized public open space during the research period with existing theories. As the unit of analysis are actors who use public open space and the physical conditions of open space. The purpose of this research is to identify activity patterns in utilizing public open space, so that they can be taken into consideration in planning and designing the Public Open Space of Baron Waterfront.

This study aims to explain the feminism of the Suar character in the novel “Catatan Juang” by Fiersa Besari in terms of liberalist feminism and post-modern feminism. This research method is a qualitative descriptive method. The source of data in this research is the novel "Catatan Juang" by Fiersa Besari. The research data is in the form of the depiction of the main character in the novel. The results of this study indicate that,1) the liberal feminism of the Suar character who wants to be considered equal to men through strengthening in the public space, and 2) the post-modern feminism of the Suar character which shows the equality of men and women based on language and thought patterns.

The e-retribution public service innovation by the Surakarta City Trade Office is a new concept regarding the online levy payment system. First launched in mid-2016, E-retribution as part of the implementation of smart government is included in the smart city indicator. This study uses the typology theory of public service innovation Muluk (2008). Research location in the city trade office Surakarta, with a qualitative descriptive method. The data collection technique was obtained by purposive sampling through informant interviews, observations and documents. The results show that the public service innovation with the e-retribution program can simplifying public services and saving more time, costs and human resources, ensuring accountable transactions. In addition, E-retribution has an impact on increasing Solo Local Revenue every year.

The existence of boarding house, the process of acculturation and values shift in residence, affect the physical and non-physical condition of the home and its surroundings. Similarly, shifting occurs in the private-public space caused by the interaction between the occupants. In a pluralistic Muslim society, the Islamic values influence the process of shifting the public-private space. Accessibility becomes the main concern in the shift pattern as a consequence of the limited land and increasing space demand. There are two shift patterns, physical shift indicating a change in the function space, and non-physical shift involving a sense of space for those interact in it. Sunnah values are employed to see the aspects are considered in home, especially on privacy and interaction. It used descriptive method through collecting detailed information that depicts the existing symptoms, identifying, making comparisons or evaluations and determining what is done to establish a plan or decision. The result of this study is the suggested design that can synergize with the activities occuring within it.Keberadaan rumah pondokan mahasiswa, terjadinya proses akulturasi budaya dan pergeseran nilai-nilai dalam rumah hunian, mempengaruhi kondisi fisik dan non fisik rumah dan lingkungannya. Begitu pula terjadinya pergeseran ruang privat-publik pada rumah hunian yang disebabkan interaksi antara pemilik rumah dengan penghuni pondokannya. Dalam lingkungan masyarakat muslim yang majemuk terdapat nilai-nilai Islam yang mempengaruhi terjadinya proses pergeseran ruang privat-publik tersebut. Aksesibilitas merupakan hal utama yang harus diperhatikan pada pola pergeseran ruang sebagai konsekuensi sempitnya lahan dan bertambahnya kebutuhan ruang. Terdapat dua pola pergeseran ruang, pertama secara fisik yang mengindikasikan perubahan fungsi ruang, dan kedua secara non fisik, yang melibatkan rasa ruang dari pelaku-pelaku yang berinteraksi didalamnya. Nilai-nilai as Sunnah digunakan untuk mengkaji aspek-aspek yang dipertimbangkan dalam rumah tinggal terutama privasi dan interaksi. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif, dengan mengumpulkan informasi aktual secara rinci yang menggambarkan gejala-gejala yang ada, mengidentifikasi, membuat perbandingan atau evaluasi dan menentukan apa-apa yang dilakukan untuk menetapkan rencana atau keputusan. Hasil dari kajian ini berupa saran rancangan yang dapat bersinergi dengan aktivitas yang terjadi di dalamnya.

Public Relations of Headquarters of the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI Headquarters) must work with the Government Public Relations strategy to maintain a reputation by maintaining credibility, trustworthiness, reliability, and responsibility in delivering positive news to the internal and external public. This study aims to see how the government public relations strategy of the Indonesian National Armed Forces Information Center (Puspen TNI) maintained the reputation of the TNI institution. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method by interviewing the Head of Puspen TNI, non-participant observation, and documentation. The results showed that Puspen TNI in maintaining the reputation of the TNI, first, maintained credibility by measuring the objectivity and quality of the news. Second, it proclaimed information about TNI and the contribution of the TNI to the nation-state to the public through mass media and social media. Third, it disseminated the news according to the facts. Forth, it reported the performance of the TNI to the external and internal public regarding responsibility to the state and nation professionally and proportionally by providing information delivered directly through the TNI website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and TV public relations TNI Streaming produced by Puspen TNI. It also maintained good relations between external media and editor in chief and journalists of print, electronic and online media.

Language has an important role in everyday human life in society. Jargon is a kind of language that is only used by certain communities as daily communication among its members. The jargon used by the transgender community is very interesting to understand because the jargon has its own form and meaning in its disclosure and can find out how the variety of jargon-shaped language used by transgenders in hiding their secrets so as not to be known by the public. It is evident that not all users of other languages understand the jargon. In this study, the researchers analyzed the jargon used by the waria community in the salon. This study aims to determine the jargon and describe and understand the meaning of the jargon used by the transgender community in interacting orally. The source of the research data was obtained from the subject, namely the transgender women who worked at the Retah salon in Pamulang, who used jargon in their daily communication with transgender women and sometimes with their customers. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, which describes and conveys data objectively. Describe the jargon terms of transgender language as the object of research. The data collection technique used is observation or see and note. The result of this research is the jargon used by waria in the form of transgender language vocabulary. Based on the results of the data analysis, it was found that 20 pieces of jargon used by transgender women in the salon were akika, rapose, capcus, endang gurindang, ink, sekong, belenjong, cucok, metong, hamidah, lekong, sapose, capcay, begindang, bala-bala, sindang. , lambreta, grasshopper, mesong, and mursida.Keywords: Waria, Jargon, Vocabulary

Abstrak:Media massa mengalami perkembangan yang pesat, selain menyampaikan informasi kepada masyarakat media juga memiliki tugas mendidik publik melalui literasi media. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peranan program reporter on campus dalam upaya menumbuhkembangkan literasi media khususnya di kalangan mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa program reporter on campus sangat menunjang kemampuan mahasiswa baik dalam aspek teoritis maupun aplikatif.Kata Kunci: Radio, Reporter on Campus, Mahasiswa JurnalistikAbstract: The mass media experienced development fastly, in addition to conveying information to the media community also had the task of educating the public through media literacy. Using qualitative descriptive method, this study aims to see the role of on campus reporter program in an effort to develop media literacy, especially among students. Literary works created by writers to be enjoyed, understood, and utilized by the community by using language as a medium. Literature is a language essay on socio-cultural issues in the form of getting positive judgments from the public. The use of the mystical language of the palace was able to penetrate far geographical location to rural and mountainous areas. Social, cultural and political factors led them to mesanggrah and alienated into the area of Brang Wetan commonly known Mataraman region. Majority, Kepanjen society is Java Mataraman estany which still holds closely to ancestral tradition. Some forms of local wisdom are still carried out today, one of them is Serat Wulangreh written by Sri Susuhunan Paku Buwono IV in Surakarta Hadiningrat In the government of 1788-1820. Javanese people are very concerned about the teachings in Fiber Wulangreh and practiced in everyday life. Wulangreh fiber is a characteristic of Indonesian culture that has high literary value, aesthetics, education and philosophy. In Fiber Wulangreh there is a living doctrine: Understanding the sense of life, sharpening the inner eye, avoiding the arrogant attitude, the duty of the living, the filial piety, and the service to the king. These teachings became guidance and guidance for the Javanese ethnic community Mataraman Kepanjen, the community has consistently preserved until now. Therefore, this phenomenon is very interesting to be careful because this phenomenon occurs in a society that is experiencing changes in all aspects (social, cultural, economic, and globalization). Based on the above description, this paper will describe: (a) how is Fiber Wulangreh practiced as a moral and intellectual teaching (b) how is Serat Wulangreh practiced as a living doctrine, and (c) how is the relevance of Wulangreh literary life teaching to ethnic Javanese mataram in Kepanjen Malang Regency. This qualitative research involves the active participation of researchers on the object of the study. Interviews conducted by researchers to obtain data on various matters related to Fiber Wulangreh Data analysis of village monograph in the analysis with qualitative descriptive method to what extent Fiat Wulangreh live and grow in society.
