This research described how life tolerance of religion in Nusa Jaya Village Belitang District III Regency OKU East Sumatera Selatan, besides to know the factors that cause success tolerance of religion in Nusa Jaya Village Belitang District III Regency of OKU East of South Sumatera. Tolerance is a problem that often arises throughout the time, especially tolerance among religious people. Historically, the religious nature of tolerance does not just appear. This research aims to determine the factors that lead to the success of religious, between Islam, Catholicism, Protestant Christianity, and Buddhism in the Nusa Jaya village, District III of East Belitang, District of OKU, South Sumatra. The method used in this study is the historical method, obtained through in-depth interviews, documentation and literature study. The results showed that normatively the basic values that form the basis of the establishment of tolerance among religious people is the value of religion and cultural Javanese descendants. While empirically composed of human values, nationalism, historical, exemplary public religious leaders and the value of patience.

<p>This study describes the role of KH. Ahmad Madani in education and community development at boarding school of Sumber Bungur. The method used in this study is the historical method, which uses a biographical approach. Biographical approach is an approach that seeks to understand and deepen keperibadian (figures) based on the background of the cultural social environment in which the character was raised, how the education process is experienced, the characters that are around him. The technique of data collection is by literature study and interview. The author collects data related to the discussion that will the author do. Data collected from interviews, books, journals, theses, internet and articles. The writer then criticized the source that has been obtained, which then performed data analysis and taken conclusions. The results of this study is Ahmad Madani is a pioneer and a figure who care about the education system in Madura, especially in Pakong Pamekasan District. From his ideas, around the 1960s, he was able to integrate both educational systems by establishing his own schools where religious knowledge and common knowledge were taught, although at the beginning of his pioneering many societies and even religious leaders considered KH. Ahmad Madani has continued the heritage and culture of Dutch clones, by incorporating the general materials into the educational institution he pioneered. Whereas the general matter is a subject matter brought by westerners whose connotation is that the western man is a Gentile.</p><p><strong>Keywords : Pesantren Education, Education in Ponpes Sumber Bungur.</strong></p>

<p><em>In order to maintain the unity and unity of the community, it is necessary to respect each other and respect the high of each religious people, in order to create a mental attitude oriented to high tolerance value, and strive for a life-oriented attitude of mutual care, asih and foster (selunglung sebayantaka paras paros sarpanaya).</em></p><p><em>The issues discussed are: (1) What are the forms of Religious Tolerance between Hinduism and Islam, (2) What are the efforts undertaken in fostering Religious Tolerance between Hinduism and Islam, (3) What are the supporting factors The implementation of the Religious Tolerance Behavior between Hinduism and Islam, (4) What are the factors inhibiting the implementation of Religious Tolerance of Hinduism and Islam.</em></p><p><em>Theories used to analyze problems are: (1) Social Interaction Theory, (2) Structural Functional Theory, (3) Tolerance Theory. The subject of this research is Lelateng Urban Village. Methods of data collection are obeservasi participation, unstructured interviews, assisted by using snowball techniques, documentation and literature study. The collected data is analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis method with step reduction step, data presentation, and conclusion.</em></p><p><em>The result of the research shows (1) The form of Tolerance of Religious People between Hindu and Islam in Kelurahan Lelateng can be seen in the field of Social, Economics, Religion, Arts and Culture. (2) Efforts made to foster Tolerance attitude, among others, by the Government in the form of dialogue and cooperation of religious people, by Bendesa Pasraman Kilat, by religious leaders in the form of Dharma Discourse or Dharma Tula and pengajian-pengajian. (3) Supporting factors for the establishment of Tolerance between Hindu and Islam attitude due to the kinship system and the strengthening of religious teachings. (4) The inhibiting factor of Tolerance between Hinduism and Islam due to social prejudices from Hindus, excessive fanaticism of Islam, and the assumption of Islam towards other religions other than Islam is Kafir.</em><em></em></p>

The analysis of the kapamangkuan gender bias in Mengesta village is a socio-cultural study of the imbalance of rights and obligations between pamangku lanang and pamangku istri. This study uses a qualitative methodology, data collection were done through observations, literature study, and in-depth interviews with 7 traditional and religious leaders as informants. The present study concludes that the procedures for pamangku candidates' coronation were as follows: selection, lineage, nyanjan ceremony, and distribution of lekesan. Gender inequality exists due to several factors, namely: the purusa and pradana system in Balinese culture; 2) male dominance in kapamangkuan; 3) kapamangkuan education prioritizes pamangku lanang; 4) The labeling of pamangku istri with their domestic duties as ceremonial amenities maker, and 5) menstrual cycle myths factors. Furthermore, the gender identification in kapamangkuan in Mengesta village are as follows: 1) The labeling of pamangku istri as the socialization of women into gender polarity; 2) the kapamangkuan education system based on biological differentiation, 3) a second marriage system that is considered unholy, 4) through unclear patterns of pamangku istri's clothing, and 5) Gender identification through adat (local social system). In general, there is still injustice to pamangku istri regarding her rights and obligations despite her equal position as a pamangku.

This article discusses the Sasak people’s resistance against MataramKarangasem and Dutch colonial rulers in the 19th century in Lombok, Indonesia. It particularly focuses on Tuan Guru Umar Kelayu and his central role in the emergence of Sasak people’s resistance which transformed into Sasak physical revolution local and global imperialismcolonialism. Using the historical method, this article collected data through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis involved the historical methods of heuristics, verification or criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The findings show that Sasak people’s resistance was not only caused by economic factors but also related to other factors such as social, cultural, and religious ones. Tuan Guru Umar Kelayu played a key role in the Sasak people’s resistance in that it was under his leadership and influence that the resistance transformed into a physical struggle against MataramKarangasem and Dutch colonialism as seen in Sakra War and Praya War which were led by his students and friends.

This study aimed at finding out a depiction of the communication pattern among religious people in the Sindang Jaya community, Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province. This study used a qualitative approach, and the data collection techniques were observation and interviews. After the data were collected, the analysis was carried out with the stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusion. This study drew the conclusion that First, the pattern of communication set by the people of Sindang Jaya Village was based on mutual respect among religions. Second, there were three forms of tolerance given by the people of Sindang Jaya Village, namely cooperation, religious freedom, and appreciation for the religious activities of other religions. Third, the strategy carried out to avoid conflicts was that both religious leaders, village officials, and the community in general always became fair, respected each other, had kinship relations, discussed every problem, helped each other, and cooperated with one another.

This research examines the development of traditional culinary culture,  Bakpia and Wingko Babat XYZ with the aim of preserving the local culinary heritage located in Bantul. Bakpia and Wingko Babat XYZ  is a special traditional business place that sells traditional Yogyakarta food in the Bantul area which still uses traditional methods. This business has been around for a long time since 1997. Lack of the right strategy is the cause when local and foreign visitors do not know much information about the culinary business of Bakpia and Wingko Babat XYZ. Based on this, this study aims to identify and analyze the marketing process carried out by Bakpia and Wingko Babat XYZ, to determine the potential of traditional culinary culture and to explore strategy formulations in Bakpia and Wingko Babat XYZ. The research method in this study is a qualitative research method, by conducting direct and in-depth interviews with key persons, observation, and literature study. The qualitative method used is descriptive qualitative which will describe how the right strategy is based on the results of the analysis. The interview data were analyzed by several stages, namely the SWOT stage in the internal and external environment, the weight and ranking calculation stage, the IFE-EFE and IE matrix analysis stage, and the conclusion stage. In the research analysis, the IFE and EFE matrix values were obtained, where the IFE value was 2.774 and the EFE value was 2.842. This condition shows that Bakpia and Wingko Babat XYZ  is in the V quadrant position, which means Hold and Maintain, in this position the right strategy is market penetration and product development, and in the SWOT quadrant in quadrant II Cobination supports the Diversification strategy, this is requires making alternative strategies that can be used to increase existing strengths so that they can overcome threats.Keywords: culinary culture, SWOT, IE.AbstrakPenelitian ini meneliti tentang  budaya kuliner tradisional yaitu Bakpia dan Wingko Babat XYZ dengan tujuan untuk menjaga warisan budaya kuliner lokal yang terletak di Bantul. Bakpia dan Wingko Babat XYZ merupakan tempat usaha tradisional khusus yang menjualkan makanan tradisional khas Yogyakarta di daerah bantul yang masih menggunakan cara-cara tradisional. Usaha ini sudah lama berdiri sejak 1997. Kurangnya strategi yang tepat menjadi penyebab ketika pengunjung lokal maupun mancanegara tidak mengetahui banyak informasi mengenai usaha kuliner Bakpia dan Wingko Babat XYZ. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisa proses pemasaran yang dilakukan Bakpia dan Wingko Babat XYZ, untuk mengetahui potensi budaya kuliner tradisional dan mengeksplorasi formulasi strategi di Bakpia dan Wingko Babat XYZ. Metode  penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif, dimana dengan melakukan wawancara kepada key person secara langsung dan mendalam, observasi, dan  studi pustaka. Metode kualitatif  yang  digunakan yaitu kualitatif deskriptif yang akan mendeskripsikan bagaimana strategi yang tepat berdasarkan hasil analisis. Data  wawancara dianalisis dengan beberapa tahap-tahapan yaitu tahap SWOT pada lingkungan internal dan eksternal, tahap perhitungan bobot dan peringkat, dan tahap analisis matriks IFE-EFE dan IE, serta tahap kesimpulan. Pada analisis penelitian diperoleh nilai matriks IFE dan EFE, dimana nilai IFE sebesar 2,774 dan nilai EFE sebesar 2,842. Background and purpose: Partnership between traditional birth attandence (TBA) and midwives is one of the strategies to increase the coverage of childbirth assistance by the health personnel. This partnership seems to be ineffective as still there were TBA performed childbirth assistance. The study aims to find out about the overview and obstacles in the implementation of the partnership between TBA and midwives in the East Manggarai Regency.Methods: The qualitative research with in-depth interviews using open interview guide was conducted on 15 participants who were selected purposively, consisted of two village midwives, five TBAs who partnered with midwives, three TBAs who are not partnered with a midwife, and two participants of community leaders, the religious leaders, the two puerperal women and one policy maker. Data were analyzed by using thematic analysis approach.Results: The results showed that the facilities and supporting infrastructure of partnership were inadequate, funds provided were not enough to finance the implementation of the partnership, there were no regular meetings between the midwives and the traditional healers, coordination was done merely incidental. The division of roles in the treatment of childbirth was clear, but many obstacles were found, namely transportation barriers, economic problems and there were traditional healers who did not want to partner.Conclusion: The overview of partnership between the traditional healers and midwives in childbirth assistance has not gone well and there were still many obstacles found both internally and externally. To optimize this program, sufficient funds should be allocated, transportation should be improved and counseling should be provided to the community to raise awareness of the importance of childbirth assistance by the health personnel.

People in Jambi city assume that Pasar Hong Kong, a traditional market located in Jelutung sub-district, is “a Chinese market”, even some areas in the city of Jambi such as Jelutung, Koni, and Talang Banjar are dominated by the ethnic of Chinese. This research aims to explore how social inequality that occurs due to the advantages and disadvantages of an ethnic group so that it can affect individual attitudes that damage social capital. This research uses a case study approach with in-depth interviews and literature study as data collection techniques. The subjects of this study were ethnic Malay and Chinese female merchants in Pasar Hong Kong, Jambi city, Indonesia. This research found that social inequalities that occur among the female merchants of ethnic Malay and Chinese in Pasar Hongkong occur naturally, where both merchants and buyers have a high tolerance when interacting. Although sometimes there are differences in attitude when the merchants serve different ethnic buyers. The involvement of traditional leaders in managing social inequalities is very important due to the lack of assimilation among ethnic Malay and Chinese.

This research was conducted to find out how the branding activity done by Y2K Music School and Studio through social media account Instagram @ y2kstudio. This research would like to examine more deeply related to marketing activity such as what applied Y2K Music School and Studio in building brand Y2K Music School and Studio as a music school through its official Instagram. There is also a method used in this research is a method of narrative analysis which is a method in the field of qualitative research. The data were collected using literature study on textbooks, online data tracking, and in-depth interviews on key informants related to the study. The results of this study states that the form of branding activities conducted by Y2K Music School and Studio through social media accounts Instagram @ y2kstudio is a marketing communication in the form of delivering information with positive ambiance related Y2K Music School and Studio and also in the form of information delivery activities related promotions which is currently running at Y2K Music School and Studio.
