Tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu melatih siswa untuk memiliki karakter dan etika yang baik, melatih siswa untuk dapat menaati setiap aturan yang diberikan kepadanya melalui aktivitas belajar. Lokasi pengabdian akan dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Ampel Boyolali melalui Pelatihan dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, presentasi powerpoint, brainstorming, dan dialog. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan metode partisipatif artinya mitra binaan secara aktif dilibatkan dalam semua tahapan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metode pelatihan yang dilaksanakan selama 3 (tiga) hari dengan materi pelatihan berupa ceramah, praktek, serta evaluasi yang disajikan secara bersamaan. Setelah kegiatan pelatihan, dilanjutkan kegiatan evaluasi sebagai bahan koreksi bagi penyelenggara kegiatan. Hasil evaluasi ini dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan pertimbangan bagi perpustakaan untuk melaksanakan kegiatan serupa terkait dengan kegiatan pendidikan pemakai. Hasil dari pelatihan ini diharapkan siswa memiliki karakter dan etika yang baik supaya siswa dapat menjadi manusia yang tidak hanya bertambah secara usia tetapi juga memiliki kepribadian yang baik seumur hidup.Kata kunci: karakter taat, aktivitas belajar, siswaAbstractThe purpose of this service is to train students to have good character and ethics, to train students to be able to obey ever y rule given to them through learning activities. The service location is implemented at SMAN 1 Ampel Boyolali through training conducted by lecture method, powerpoint presentation, brainstorming, and dialogue. The method used is a participatory method which means that foster partners are actively involved in all stages of this community service activity. This activity uses t raining methods that is carried out for 3 (three) days with training materials in the form of lectures, practices, and evaluations presented simultaneously. After the training activity, evaluation activities are continued as material for correction to the activity organizers. The results of this evaluation can later be used as consideration for the library to carry out similar activities related to user education activities. The results of this training are expected students to have good character and ethics so that students can become human beings who not only increase in age but also have a good  personality for life.

Abstract: The purpose of this Community Service activity is to provide training on waste processing, to increase the understanding of the type of garbage, to improve the way of understanding about the type of waste, to provide skills training of artwork from waste to valuables. The target of this activity is the students of SDN Karangjaya III Pedes District Karawang regency which amounted to 35 students. The method used in this activity is the lecture method with the material presentation technique of waste knowledge and the types followed by discussion, while the waste management problem is solved by giving the training of making the work of secondhand goods. This activity is packed in the form of workshop. After being trained, they are then guided to apply the training results in order to improve students' ability in managing waste to be applicative art or appropriate goods. The results of the implementation of Community Service run smoothly attended by 35 students as participants. The trainee looks enthusiastic about the training materials provided. This is visible from the beginning to the end of the event, all the participants follow well. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah siswa SDN Karangjaya III Kecamatan Pedes Kabupaten Karawang yang berjumlah 35 siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah metode ceramah dengan teknik presentasi materi pengetahuan sampah dan jenis-jenisnya dilanjutkan dengan diskusi, sedangkan masalah pengelolaan sampah diselesaikan dengan memberikan pelatihan pembuatan karya dari barang-barang bekas. Kegiatan ini dikemas dalam bentuk workshop. Setelah diberi pelatihan, selanjutnya mereka dibimbing untuk menerapkan hasil pelatihan dalam rangka meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam mengelola sampah menjadi seni aplikatif atau barang tepat guna. Hasil pelaksanaan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat berjalan dengan lancar dihadiri oleh 35 siswa sebagai peserta. Peserta pelatihan terlihat antusias dengan materi pelatihan yang diberikan. Hal ini terlihat dari awal hingga akhir acara, semua peserta mengikuti dengan baik. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan dapat diidentifikasi mengenai tingkat pemahaman peserta pengabdian adalah bahwa 85% peserta pengabdian memahami konsep pengolahan sampah sebagai karya seni aplikatif.Kata Kunci: Pengolahan Sampah, Karya Seni Aplikatif

Abstract Purpose: The purpose of this community service activity is to assist and foster Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUBE) Wanita Mandiri Craft which is a recipient of the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) assistance. This KUBE has a business of making flower crafts made from tapis. The most priority problem is that partners do not yet have the ability to prepare business feasibility studies. In addition, they do not yet have and build a partnership network by utilizing information technology including social media effectively to promote and market their products. The stages of the activities carried out consist of the preparation, implementation, mentoring, and evaluation stages. Method: The methods used are lecture and question and answer methods, demonstration methods, and non-formal discussion methods. Results: The result was, during the training activity, the participants followed it with great attention and enthusiasm until all the material had been given by the presenter which was then followed by a question and answer activity. Conclusion: All participants can take part in the entire training process from start to finish, besides that the target for delivering training materials is also achieved because the material can be delivered in its entirety and the enthusiasm of participants in participating in the training greatly supports this activity

ABSTRAKKegiatan pelatihan Fotografi Produk di IRMA Baiturrahman merupakan respon dari pihak terkait. Di tengah kondisi pandemi ini, industri kreatif terus digalakan oleh pemerintah Indonesia. Bidang Fotografi memiliki kesempatan tersendiri saat ini, dikarenakan pandemi yang menyerang Indonesia berakibat perubahan gaya hidup masyarakatnya. Akibat pandemi,masyarakat Indonesia lebih banyak menghabiskan waktu dengan daring/online karena melalui daring masyarakat masih dapat beraktivitas sehari-hari,dari bekerja, belajar  hingga menikmati hiburan. Universitas Indo Global Mandiri Palembang, berkomitmen untuk selalu berusaha melakukan pengabdian terhadap masyarakat secara terus menerus sebagai wujud kepedulian insan akademik terhadap peningkatan kualitas hidup masyarakat. Untuk itu Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat Universitas Indo Global Mandiri Palembang bermaksud menjalin kemitraan dengan IRMA Baiturrahman dengan skema pengabdian internal, yaitu 1) Memberikan wawasan mengenai Fotografi dan pengetahuan mengenai perkembangan fotografi. 2) Memberikan keterampilan Fotografi Produk terhadap peserta pelatihan. 3) Memberikan pengetahuan dan wawasan dalam pembuatan Fotografi Produk. 4) Meningkatkan keterampilan bagi peserta yang sudah memiliki dasar dalam Fotografi. 5) Memberikan motivasi dan kiat-kiat kepada peserta agar dapat menjadi pribadi yang mandiri dan mampu menghasilkan Fotografi Produk secara berkala. Metode yang dipakai pada Kegiatan pelatihan Fotografi Produk ini yaitu Metode Sosialisasi dan Ceramah, Metode Demonstrasi & Metode Bimbingan & Partisipatif. In the midst of this pandemic, the Indonesian government continues to promote the creative industry. The field of photography has its own opportunity at this time, because the pandemic that attacked Indonesia resulted in changes in the lifestyle of its people. As a result of the pandemic, Indonesian people spend more time online because online people can still do their daily activities, from work, study to enjoying entertainment. Indo Global Mandiri University Palembang, is committed to always trying to do community service continuously as a form of concern for academics to improve the quality of life of the community. For this reason, the Community Service Team of Indo Global Mandiri University Palembang intends to establish a partnership with IRMA Baiturrahman with an internal service scheme, namely 1) Providing insight into Photography and knowledge about the development of photography. 2) Provide Product Photography skills to trainees. 3) Provide knowledge and insight in the manufacture of Product Photography. 4) Improve skills for participants who already have a foundation in Photography. 5) Provide motivation and tips to participants so that they can become independent individuals and are able to produce Product Photography on a regular basis. The methods used in this Product Photography training activity are the Socialization and Lecture Method, the Demonstration Method & the Guidance & Participatory Method. <p align="center"><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></p><p>Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakan ini adalah agar setelah mengikuti kegiatan para peserta yakni pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki kemampuan untuk memahami dan menyusun laporan keuangan dasar yang terdiri dari laporan laba-rugi, laporan posisi keuangan, dan laporan perubahan modal. </p><p>Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan yang meliputi ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab, serta latihan soal-soal. Materi pelatihan berupa modul penyusunan laporan keuangan dasar. Peserta pelatihan adalah para pelaku UMKM Jakarta Selatan. Analisis terhadap kegiatan dilakukan dengan memberikan skor terhadap latihan soal-soal yang diberikan kepada para peserta. </p><p>Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukan bahwa pelatihan telah berjalan efektif. Training materials were a module of the preparation of basic financial statement. The participants of this training were the entrepreneurs of MSME of South Jakarta. The activity was analyzed by scoring the exercises delivered to the participants. </em></p><p><em>The results shows that the training is effective. So marketing acts as a liaison between the needs of the community and the pattern of industrial responses.This community service activity is carried out at the home of the business actor who has the address. The method used in the implementation of community service activities is business assistance.The purpose of this method is the participatory-lecture method,discussion-information and continued with direct training on making business management development models for business actors "Cireng Ceu Iin" in Padasuka Village, Baros District, Serang Regency.In a business, it is better to plan carefully both in terms of future prospects and the management system that can be done to manage the business in question. In addition, it is necessary to take into account the prospect of competition, market segmentation and the smooth running of its business. Especially for the management of the Cireng-making business, it is necessary to pay attention to the availability of raw materials in the form of sago and flour which must be processed into dough. Setting the selling price is one of the factors that must be considered in a business. Prices must be realistic but do not forget the capital spent to carry out the business in question.

Learning media is an important part of learning activities. Books are part of learning media that can be displayed following the progress of the times and advances in technology. Teachers play a very important role in learning at school, usually teachers provide material to students using textbooks, whiteboard media or using slides on Microsoft Power Point. In the implementation of this community service activity, training for SDIT Sullamul 'Ulum teachers on how to make digital books using flipbooks, such as using existing tools, making the content in digital books presented interesting so that students are easy to understand and can be applied to Learning Activities. Based on the results of the practice carried out by the participants, it was concluded that the average expertise of 90% of participants could follow and practice in making digital learning media using flipbooks.

Educational Gaming Device, or  Alat Peraga Edukatif (APE) is a media which should be mastered by teachers in teaching learning activities for young learners. By using APE, it gives advantages for children in developing their motoric abilities, concentrations, and also their ability in language and knowledge. Based on the result of observation and interview to one of teachers in RA Asy-Asfi’iyyah in Pekalongan Jepara, the priority of problems is the weakness of teachers in creating APE. The aim of this community service activity was to give training skills to teachers dealing with APE specifically in creating English soft-book from sponge sheet. The method used was  preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The results of this dedication are: (1) the teachers know  the strategy of how to teach joyful learning (2) the teachers were also able to make English soft-book well through four steps, i.e drawing, cutting, sticking, and compiling become a book ,(3) the teachers are able to apply the APE in teaching and learning processess.Keywords: Capacity Building, Teachers of Kindergarten, Young Learners, Educational Gaming Device, soft book. ABSTRAKAlat peraga edukatif (APE) merupakan media yang harus dikuasai oleh guru dalam proses belajar mengajar bagi anak usia dini. Dengan menggunakan APE, maka akan memberikan manfaat bagi anak yaitu melatih motorik, melatih konsentrasi, dan juga melatih bahasa dan wawasan anak. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan salah satu guru RA Asy- Asyfi’iyyah di desa Pekalongan, maka prioritas permasalahan adalah lemahnya guru dalam membuat APE. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah memberikan keterampilan kepada guru mengenai APE berupa buku bantal berbahasa Inggris dari spons ati. Adapun metode pelaksanaanya adalah mulai tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaanya sampai evaluasi. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah: (1) para guru mendapatkan pengetahuan mengenai strategi mengajar yang menyenangkan; (2) para guru juga dapat membuat buku bantal berbahasa Inggris dengan baik melalui tahap menggambar, menggunting, menempel, dan menyusun buku; dan (3) para guru dapat mengaplikasikan APE tersebut dalam pembelajaran di kelas.Kata Kunci: Capacity building, Guru RA, Anak usia dini, Alat peraga edukatif, Buku bantal.

Kewajiban untuk menulis karya ilmiah bagi guru mendorong pentingnya penguasaan reference management software agar kualitas sitasi dan daftar rujukan dalam karya ilmiah sesuai dengan format yang diinginkan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi guru SMKN 6 Malang tentang reference management software Zotero dan EndNote. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan selama dua hari. Selain itu, dilakukan juga survey tentang persepsi pelatihan tentang reference management software dan operasionalnya sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. Selain itu, survey juga berisikan tentang persepsi peserta pelatihan terhadap penyampaian materi pelatihan. Dari hasil survey, diketahui mayoritas peserta pelatihan belum memahami reference management software dan pengoperasiannya. Setelah pelatihan, mayoritas peserta pelatihan berpersepsi bahwa Zotero lebih mudah untuk digunakan dibandingkan dengan End-Note. Mayoritas peserta pelatihan berpersepsi bahwa kedua reference management software yang diajarkan, baik Zotero maupun End-Note, mudah untuk digunakan dalam menulis sitasi dan daftar pustaka. Hasil survey juga menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta pelatihan menyatakan tingkat penguasaan materi baik dan cara penyampaian materi oleh penyaji menarik serta interaksi penyaji dan peserta baik.Kata kunci: Reference Management Software; Zotero; End-Note; Sitasi.AbstractThe obligation to write scientific papers for teachers encourages the importance of mastering reference management software so that the quality of citations and reference lists in scientific papers are in accordance with the desired format. This community service activity aims to provide knowledge and skills for teachers of SMKN 6 Malang about Zotero and EndNote reference management software. The workshop activities were carried out for two days. In addition, a survey of the workshop participant about reference management software and operations was also conducted before and after the workshop. The survey also contained perceptions of workshop participants regarding the delivery of training materials. From the survey results, it is known that the majority of workshop participants did not understand the reference management software and its operation before attending the workshop. After the workshop, most of the participants perceived that Zotero was easier to use compared to End-Note. Most of the participants also perceived that the two reference management software taught, both Zotero and End-Note, were easy to use in writing citations and references. The survey results also showed that the majority of participants stated that the level of mastery of the material was good and the way the material was presented by the presenters was interesting and the interaction between presenters and participants was good.Keywords: Reference Management Software; Zotero; End-Note; Citation.

The goal to be achieved in this service program is to help compile and make financial statements CV. Kasih dan Sayang. Specific targets to be completed are knowledge and skills in preparing and formatting financial statements. The problem in preparing financial statements is knowledge and skills in the recording of business finances. Therefore, the challenges in this target group need to be overcome by increasing knowledge and training in making financial statements that are easy and helping financial records for partners. The method that will be used in this service program is participation method. CV. Kasih dan Sayang were given financial statement training. The results of this community service activity are trainees who are able to provide training materials that are supported by using financial statements formats in the form of MS. Excel is in accordance with the case of business transactions. In addition, the financial statement format is in the form of an MS. Excel will tidy up and make it easier to make business financial statements.

This community service activity aims to increase the teacher's knowledge of herbarirum learning media, and in the end the teacher can make a herbarium that can be used in the biology learning process. The main target of this dedication is biology teachers at MTs Dharut Tayyibin Batu Jai. The activity method in the form of training was then followed by making a herbarium from plants and samples brought by students from their homes or their neighborhoods. Based on the results of the evaluation and the responses of the teacher and students, they showed great enthusiasm for the activity and it was proven by the participation of students and teachers until this activity was completed. The teacher as the main target shows that their ability to make herbarium increases, the herbarium made with students can be used as biology learning that supports the learning process. The MTs students who participated in this process were very enthusiastic and active because it was such a fun new thing. It is hoped that in the future this training activity should be carried out not only in making herbariums but in making other creative learning media. The goal is to help students understand biology material and make biology lessons more fun.
