The article provides a theoretical analysis of the phenomenon of «personal maturity». Personal maturity is defined as a dynamic process of learning new values, making responsible choices, unconditional acceptance of other people, objective awareness of the normative-values image of oneself, the ability to reflect personal qualities, one’s own actions, and the ability for moral self-control of interactions. There are presented a diagnostic method and empirical results of the study. The empirical research was being conducted with authored method of N. Vinnyk. For that the Y. Gilbuh personal maturity questionnaire has been modified and tested. The method consists of five scales: achievement motivation, attitudes towards one’s «I» (the «I» − concept), sense of civic duty, life attitude, the ability for psychological proximity with another person. It was stated that although most students have satisfactory level of personal maturity, quantitative analysis of separate scales has revealed significant shortcomings. So the scale that assesses the «I»-concept, which presents such important characteristics of a person as self-confidence, satisfaction with their own abilities, personality, and their competence have the lowest scores. This was also confirmed by the unstable «too low» life attitude of students. It was noted that the students’ personal maturity is interrelated with their professional self-realization. Activation of formation of the personal maturity of students is possible in conditions of organization of purposeful cognitive activity, in which individual, group and collective forms of work are combined, aimed at the content of awareness and development of responsibility, independence, self-control, emotional maturity, goal-setting and professional self-realization.

The research featured various approaches to the understanding of one of the most important qualities of the manager, i.e. the ability to "lay oneself out". The paper focuses on its interpretations, narrow and wide understanding, and a set of related qualities and competences. A study of biographies of successful managers and entrepreneurs made it possible to conclude that they all demonstrated great activity, commitment, efficiency, and the habit of "laying oneself out." The latter quality does not reduce itself to a greater number of working hours: it means high productivity and efficiency. Many internal and external factors affect the results of the manager's activity: 1.Motivation, which depends on awareness of its meaning and significance, clear and achievable objectives, feedback, and satisfaction with the job; 2. Social factors, e.g. team relations, social status, etc.; 3. Psychophysiological factors, e.g. performance, amount of information per unit of time; "span of management", environment, etc. All these factors should be taken into account by managers when organizing personal activities. Personal qualities and competencies of a manager that are related to his or her ability" to lay oneself out" belong to four blocks of qualities. Personal organization is connected with time management, prioritizing, and responsibility. The block of business qualities includes the desire for self-expression, business activity, hunter mindset, aggressiveness, commitment, self-control, determination, and result-oriented performance. Knowledge and work technologies are related to the ability to organize one’s workplace and rationalize personal work. Efficiency includes strong will, diligence, persistence, self-confidence, optimism, and passion for work. The presence of these qualities, or competences, guarantees that the manager is able to lay himself or herself out completely. Therefore, to acquire such ability one should develop these qualities.

The results of the study showed that students have a high attitude to humanistic values, regardless of the level of self-affirmation and self-esteem. The main mechanisms of formation of humanistic values in students depend on the provocative features of social values, which occupy a dominant place in the hierarchy of values and professional self-confidence, which reflects the integrated qualities of the individual. It was found that there is a positive correlation between humanistic qualities and personal qualities and academic achievements.  There is an important connection between self-awareness, self-esteem, self-assertion and a social ideal that reflects humanistic qualities in students. The challenge and opportunity for the field of evaluation is to prepare evaluators with sophisticated interpersonal competence alongside technical research skills. This article shows that service-learning, a “real-world” pedagogical model, holds promise as a way to educate students in evaluation while developing their interpersonal skills. While other community-based approaches offer experiential applications of evaluation methods, service-learning adds the important element of reflection to deepen student learning. A course that employed the “client-based” service-learning approach, individual-to-group student assignments, practice with interpersonal skills, and ongoing reflection activities is presented as a pedagogical approach to expand the range of interpersonal skills that can be developed among students. Student surveys showed that the course conveyed many benefits beyond technical knowledge of evaluation: use and awareness of important interpersonal skills, growing insight into their community and its people, growth of professional self-confidence, and kindling an interest in the field of evaluation.

Introduction: We started from Bandura's theory of self-efficacy, the onion model of achievement motivation according to Schuler & Prochaska, and the 5-factor personality theory by Costa & McCrae. The study aimed to analyze the predictive power of achievement motivation and personality traits on general self-efficacyand domain-specific career decision self-efficacy. We expected the more significant relationship of stable personality characteristics with general self-efficacy than with specific-domain career decision self-efficacy. Methods: 690adult participants (university students and working adults) completed a career decision self-efficacy questionnaire, and 268of them a general self-efficacy scale. All participants also fulfilled an achievement motivation questionnaire and afive-factor personality theory questionnaire. Results: All five personality traits, combined with four dimensions of achievement motivation (dominance, confidence in success, self-control, and competitiveness) explain 61% of general self-efficacy variability. Extraversion, agreeableness, andconscientiousness with six achievement motivation dimensions (dominance, engagement, confidence in success, fearlessness, competitiveness, and goal setting) explain 42.5% of career decision self-efficacy variability. Discussion: Stable traits and achievement motivation dimensions had more significant predictive power on general self-efficacy than on domain-specific career decision self-efficacy. For further research, there is a suggestion about a theoretically and empirically integrated model of dispositional and social-cognitive approaches.
