In the 1970s, social inclusion became a ubiquitous issue in the global scenario and professionals in the field of People Management began to adopt strategies for the inclusion of people with disabilities (PWD) in the labor market. However, currently, many organizations still face difficulties in hiring PWD, not adopting an effective inclusion, despite being provided for in Law number 8,213 of July 24, 1991 (Law of Quotas for PWD). Given this fact, the objective of this research was to analyze how Law number 8,213 is being applied in a mattress factory located in the city of Três Rios/RJ. This is a research of qualitative approach, which was conducted through an in-depth interview with the manager of the People Management area, through a questionnaire based on the Model of Campos, Vasconcellos and Kruglianskas (2013). To carry out the data analysis, it was used the content analysis technique according to Bardin (1977). As a result of the research, it was found that the factory does not perform as a strategy of People Management an effective inclusion program for the PWD, since practices are not developed to facilitate accessibility, retention and awareness of such individuals in the workplace. It is concluded that the admission of PWD is made tied to the legal obligation, i.e., for the mere fulfillment of the minimum percentage required by Law number 8,213. In this sense, the adoption of palliative strategies prevails in the factory so that people with disabilities are only inserted into the workplace.

Although nearly 30 years have passed since the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Soviet stereotypes about the people with disabilities, including their ability to be active consumers and developers of culture, still are alive in the post-Soviet countries. Until today, In Latvia there is no research conducted on the opportunities for this group of people to experience their rights to be involved in cultural life both as cultural consumers and creators. Therefore, my research subject is people with disabilities, their artistic practices and their interaction with audience leaving impact on their social integration process. During the case study the survey results of participants are analysed after three concerts with the participation of people with disabilities. The survey results reflect the attitude of the audience towards the ability of this group to discover themselves as artists on the stage . We can confidently say that the concert goers acquire more information about people with disabilities and that this information helps them to be accepted as members of an inclusive society. The survey results also confirm that people with disabilities implementing artistic practices also indirectly contribute to the promotion of social and psychological well-being as well as health functions. These factors contribute to their social inclusion process. A report will also be provided on the feedback received from the electronic surveying of audience of the concerts where people with disabilities took part as artists, as well as from in-depth interviews.

The online motorcycle taxi application (ojol) has become one of the most widely used applications by the people of Indonesia. However, since the outbreak of Covid-19 in Indonesia, including Makassar, something has been "missing" from the applications, such as Gojek and Grab. At Gojek there is no longer a motorbike ordering menu (Goride); while in Grab, the GrabBike menu also disappeared. The menu disappeared as a result of government policies through the implementation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in order to break the chain of the spread of Covid-19. In order to continue to work in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, ojol drivers use various strategies. This article focuses on how the strategy of ojol drivers to survive during the Covid-19 pandemic.  Using qualitative approach, this study was carried out in Makassar as a metropolitan city, as one of the cities where ojol transportation drivers operate, as well as the city with the highest number of Covid-19 cases. There are fifteen informants who participated in this study, consisting of eight Gojek drivers and the rest were Grab drivers. Data was collected using the combination of observation and in-depth interview techniques. The study shows that the income of ojol drivers has decreased drastically since the Covid-19 outbreak, as the consequence of government policies through the PSBB which limited people’s mobility, including ojol drivers. In order to survive, ojol drivers use various strategies, such as living in a state of frugality, taking additional work (such as selling food in offline system, being a construction worker, opening a small tavern, etc.). When conditions gradually improve and the PSBB policy is relaxed, they can again work with the application of general health protocols (3M: wearing masks, washing hands, and maintaining distance) and the application of specific health protocols is also enforced (such as the use of plastic insulators for taxi drivers or passengers carrying their own helmets for motorcycle taxis), so that they can continue to work to make a living in the middle of pandemic Covid-19, even though the income is not yet fully recovered.

Nongovernmental organizations are not just reinforcing the sense of sociality, but also permit to develop for the more universal inherent rights and abilities of a person: to extend the experience of a society while communicating with the people with disabilities, to create a social wealth with educational activities not for yourself but also and for others. The aim of a research is to reveal the principles of a social inclusion of people with disabilities but also and to reveal the assumptions in NGO's activities in Lithuania. The social model instead of a physical disability (also people that are treated as „problematic ones'“) failings suggested to identify the barriers that are socially contrasting in society (when people are facing difficulties). It was set up that one assumption of a successful activity of NGO is the ability of people with disabilities to cooperate that is also determined by peculiarities and motives of inter-communication of disabled, that encourages people for general activity.
