Local knowledge is a basic resource who passed down from one generation to another generation. Every region has a different knowledge to manage and utilize plants in the yard including medicinal plants. This study try to analyze the condition of the yard agroekosistem, analyze the level of local knowledge about medicinal plants, analyze level management of medicinal plants, analyze the relationship between level of local knowledge with the level management of mrdicinal plants, and analyze the relationship between local knowledge with condition of yard agroekosistem. This reseach used a quantitative approach and supported with qualitative approach as a method of reseach. The results showed condition of yard agroekosistem has a good condition and people have used their yard around the house. The results also showed that the level of local knowledge about medicinal plants classified as moderate. Beside that the level  managemet of medicinal plants classified in the high category. Based on statistical tests, we can know that there is no relationship between local knowledge with the level management of medicinal plants.Keywords: health, livelihood, medicinal plants, yard-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ABSTRAKPengetahuan lokal merupakan pengetahuan yang diwariskan secara turun temurun dari satu generasi kapada generasi berikutnya. Masing-masing wilayah memiliki pengetahuan tersendiri dalam pengelolaan dan pemanfaatan berbagai tanaman termasuk tanaman obat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kondisi agroekosistem pekarangan masyarakat, menganalisis tingkat pengetahuan lokal masyarakat mengenai tanaman obat, menganalisis tingkat pengelolaan tanaman obat, menganalisis hubungan pengetahuan lokal dengan tingkat pengelolaan tanaman obat, dan menganalisis hubungan pengetahuan lokal dengan kondisi agroekosistem pekarangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dan didukung dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa agroekosistem pekarangan masyarakat sudah dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari kondisi pekarangan masyarakat yang ditanam berbagai jenis tanaman termasuk tanaman obat. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan lokal masyarakat mengenai tanaman obat tergolong sedang, sedangkan tingkat pengelolaan  tanaman obat tergolong dalam kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan uji statistik yang dilakukan, tidak terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan lokal dengan tingkat pengelolaan tanaman obat.Kata kunci: kesehatan, nafkah, pekarangan, tanaman obat

The purpose of this study discusses how mastery of 4 (four) basic prerequisites of arithmetic which includes the ability to count, make Arithmetic / multiples, complement especially Nines and ten, and the concept of place values in numbers affect students' ability to solve math problems consisting of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and multiplication. The approach in this study uses a descriptive approach, the method used is a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. A qualitative approach is used to describe the basic arithmetic mastery of students including numeracy, making Arithmetic / multiples numbers, complements especially nines and ten, and the concept of place values in numbers. The quantitative approach uses statistical tests with canonical correlation analysis to answer the relationship and influence between understanding of basic arithmetic mastery on the ability to solve math problems related to addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. From the results of the canonical weight and canonical loading function 1, it can be concluded that there is indeed a significant relationship between the dependent variate and the independent variate or basic arithmetic mastery and the students' ability to do math problems is indeed correlated together.

This study was conducted in “Tanjung Jabung Timur” Regency , Jambi Province where programs of “Gerakan Serentak Tanam Padi Dua kali Setahun (Gertak Tanpa Dusta)” was  applied. The  research focused on a farmer perception toward to the program, their attitude of independently paddy farming and the relationship between both their perception and their attitude. Total population were 485 so the number of  sample was 73 farmers (15%), and was taken by proportional random sampling methode. While the method of analysis to find out the relation between both variables was done by non parametric statistical tests namely Chi-Square 2x2. The prospect of this research was to give  the government in making a choise of the program sustainability.The result showed that most of farmers had 80,8% showed good perception toward to  the program and  it’s  only 14 farmers (19,2%) showed bad. Their attitude of independently paddy farming showed 63% low and only 37% farmers had high category. Majority of  respondents who have the good pereption  showed low attitude of independently  paddy farming. There were 59 farmers with good perception and it showed  69,5%  had low attitude. In contrary the  majority of bad perception farmers showed high attitude as 64,3%. There were a significantly relation  between the farmer perception toward to the program and their attitude of independently paddy farming in “Gertak Tanpa Dusta” program.Keywords: Program, Perception, Attitude, FarmerPenelitian ini dilakukan di   Kabupaten Tanjung  Jabung Timur,  Provinsi Jambi dimana di lokasi inilah program  Gerakan Serentak Tanam Padi Dua Kali Setahun (Gertak Tanpa Dusta) dilakukan. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada kajian persepsi petani terhadap program, sikap kemandirian  mereka dalam berusahatani padi dan hubungan antara  persepsi dengan sikap kemandirian. Jumlah populasi sebanyak 485 petani maka jumlah sampel sebanyak 73 petani (15%), yang ditentukan dengan metode  “proporsional random sampling”. Sedangkan metode analisis untuk melihat hubungan antara kedua variabel tersebut dilakukan oleh non-parametrik yaitu uji chi-square 2x2. Prospek penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan pilihan bagi pemerintah dalam menentukan keberlangsungan suatu program. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas petani (80,8%) memiliki persepsi yang baik terhadap program dan hanya  14 petani (19,2%) menunjukkan persepsi kurang baik . Sikap kemandirian dalam budidaya padi menunjukkan 63 % rendah dan hanya 37% petani yang memiliki sikap kemandirian tinggi. Kebanyakan responden yang memiliki persepsi baik terhadap program menunjukkan sikap kemandirian dalam berusahatani padi yang rendah. Dari 59 petani dengan persepsi baik terdapat  69,5 % diantaranya yang memiliki sikap kemandirian rendah. Sebaliknya sebagian besar persepsi kurang baik  menunjukkan sikap kemandirian yang tinggi yaitu 64,3 %. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara persepsi petani terhadap program dan sikap kemandirian  dalam  program Gertak Tanpa Dusta. Kata kunci:  Program, Persepsi, Sikap, Petani

This study aims to determine the educational environment, interesting in learning Arabic and the relationship between both are in learning Arabic for students of class VIII ofMTsN 1 Lhokseumawe. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method to collect data. The research instrument is a questionnaire distributed online with the help of google form. The population amounted to 267 students and the sample is 25% of the population, there are 66 students. The data were analyzed using a simple linear regression formula with the help of the SPSS program. The results of this study indicate that the educational environment of class VIII students of MTsN 1 Lhokseumawe is in the high category with an average of 135.71 with a standard deviation of 10,185. Meanwhile, the average student’s interest in learning Arabic is in the high category, with an average of 71.67 and a standard deviation of 9,907. This study also found that there was no relationship between the two variables or no relationship between the educational environment and the students' interest in learning Arabic in class VIII MTsN 1 Lhokseumawe

Local knowledge of the Dayak Ngaju community in Gunung Mas regency, Central Kalimantan there were believed that many species of plants, animals and their surroundingscan be used as an indicator of a particular environtment. The local people experience is one example of local knowledge which needs to be studied scientifically through ethnobiology.Study of ethnobiology was confined to the local community's knowledge about the medicinal plants (ethnobotany), local community knowledge about the utilization of existed nearby animals (ethnozoology) and knowledge of the local community in ecosystems around their living quarters (ethnoecology). Afterwards these studies was arranged into biology practical work material. The purposesof the studyare(1) to study theethnobiology of local knowledge of DayakNgajucommunitiesinGunung Mas regency, (2) to inventoryandidentifyseveral species that areusedin foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals, industry and utilization of the environment for the practical work in high school. This should be well documented and to be taught to the next generations to avoid the extinction of local knowledges.Integratingthe materialethnobiology into learningbiology is one of the best ways to deliverlocalknowledge in formal education. It was suggested to teach ethnobiology inbiology practical work, especially inhigh school who have forest environment as characteristic oftheir territory since ethnobiological material was very important. <p>This study describes the relationship between mother's education level and students’ logic-mathematical intelligence at the RA NU 074 Ronowijayan Ponorogo. This study was conducted with a quantitative approach through the study of documentation and questionnaires. The data is processed by the formula percentages and standard deviations and analyzed by correlation of contingency coefficients. The results showed that (1) The level of maternal education were high for as many as 10 people or 50%, the categories are as many as 7 people or 35% and the low category as many as 3 people or 15%; (2) Logical mathematical intelligence which include high category with a score of &gt; 62.103 as many as three people, the medium category with a score of 44.697 to 62.103 as many as 13 people and low category with a score of  &lt; 44.697 of 4 people and (3)<br />There is a positive and significant relationship between mother's education level and logic-mathematical intelligence RA NU's 074 students Ronowijayan Ponorogo at a significance level of 5% with Φ0 &gt; table or 0.6000606 &gt; 0.444 then H0 is rejected and Ha accepted.</p><p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p><strong></strong><br />Penelitian ini menjelaskan hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan ibu dan kecerdasan logika-matematika pada siswa RA Muslimat NU 074 Ronowijayan Ponorogo. Kajian ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui studi dokumentasi dan angket. Datanya diolah dengan rumus persentase dan standar deviasi serta dianalisis dengan Korelasi Koefisien Kontingensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Tingkat pendidikan ibu yang termasuk kategori tinggi sebanyak 10 orang atau 50%, kategori sedang sebanyak 7 orang atau 35% dan kategori rendah sebanyak 3 orang atau 15%; (2) Kecerdasan logika-matematika<br />yang termasuk kategori tinggi dengan skor &gt; 62,103 sebanyak 3 orang, kategori sedang dengan skor 44,697 – 62,103 sebanyak 13 orang dan kategori rendah dengan skor &lt; 44,697 sebanyak 4 orang dan (3) Terdapat hubungan yang positif<br />dan signifikan antara tingkat pendidikan ibu dan kecerdasan logika-matematika siswa RA Muslimat NU 074 Ronowijayan Ponorogo pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan Φ0 &gt; tabel atau 0.6000606 &gt; 0.444 maka H 0 ditolak dan H a diterima. </p>

The abstract is to examine customer satisfaction in hotel industry among customer at Hotel Cinta Sayang Resort in the state of Kedah, Malaysia using a quantitative approach. This research is to identify what is the factor that influences customer satisfaction in hotel industry. There are a few objectives for this research which are to identify the relationship between tangible, reliability, responsiveness, confidence and communication toward customer satisfaction. By using a questionnaire method, all 30 questionnaires complete by 30 respondents and this questionnaire is valid for further analysis this study finds that the satisfactions in hotel are tangible, reliability, responsiveness, confidence and communication. From the findings, most of the factors are fairly influencing customer satisfaction were identified. This study recommends more explorations in the area of hotel industry using a quantitative approach and future studies should focus on internal or psychological factor of customer satisfaction.

Desde la antropología del mundo y la filosofía hay que repensar las prácticas y cómo se articulan con narrativas, y modelos que muestren visibilidades e invisibilidades presentes en la educación superior.  La investigación se realizó con estudiantes de estadística de universidades del Departamento Norte de Santander. Objetivo: analizar la relación entre la implementación del enfoque dialógico crítico y el desarrollo del pensamiento variacional de los estudiantes.  Método: La investigación siguió un enfoque cuantitativo correlacional, de tipo campo, apoyado en un enfoque cualitativo. Resultados: Se estableció una correlación significativa entre la implementación del enfoque dialógico-crítico por parte de los profesores y la percepción de los estudiantes en su aplicación en los momentos pedagógicos, y entre metodología y desarrollo de pensamiento variacional; estadios perceptual, aprehensivo, comprensivo y evaluativo se presentan en  el logro de competencias. Results: the existence of a significant correlation between the implementation of dialogic-critical approach by teachers and students perception of their application in teaching moments was established, and correlation between methodology and development of variational thought was found; Perceptual, apprehensive, comprehensive and evaluative stages are presented in the achievement of competences. Abstract: Braveness in asking question is needed in learning process. By asking question, student is trained to think, to develop information and knowledge, and with frequently asking question, it can increase braveness and confident. However, many students experienced anxiousness in asking question, one of the influences is psychology aspect that is self-confident. This research is purposed to (1) describe students’ self-confident, (2) describe student’s anxiousness while asking question in classroom, and (3) see the relationship between student’s self-confident and anxiety while asking question in classroom. This research is using quantitative approach type descriptive correlation. This research is conducted in VIII and IX class SMPN 13 Padang. Research finding reveal that (1) student’s self-confident tend to to reside in high category, (2) student’s anxiousness while asking question in classroom tend to to reside in low category, (3) there is a significant relationship between students’s self-confident and anxiety while asking question in classroom with high level of correlation.  Keywords: self-confident, anxiety in asking question

Abstract. The research is Diversity of Medicinal Plants Families in the Community of Parepare City, South Sulawesi was conducted in Parepare city on September-October 2020. The ethnobotany research of the Parepare’s people to uncover the local knowledge of the community in utilizing the diversity of plants as medicinal plants. The method used in this research is interview, observation and documentation. Data was collected in four subdistricts in Parepare City, namely Ujung subdistrict, Soreang subdistrict, Bacukiki subdistrict and West Bacukiki subdistrict. The number of informants in this study were 100 people. Ethnobotany data collected in the form of community knowledge about natural resources of plants used as traditional medicinal ingredients. The Parepare’s people use 86 species of plants consisted of 40 families as medicinal materials. Zingiberaceae is the most widely uses species. Parepare’s people used 10 species medicinal plants from Zingiberaceae.Keywords: Diversity, Familia, medicinal plants, inventory, Parepare City, South Sulawesi.
