ABSTRACTThe results and retention of student learning is still low in learning the concept of mole due to the difficulties of students to understand the concept and the lack of ability to resolve the matter of calculation. This study aimed to determine the differences in the results and retention of learning between the students who were taught with and without using mind-map media based on tier training method in the material of mole concept, knowing the great effectiveness of mind-map media based tier training method toward the results and retention of students in the material of mole concept at X grade students of SMAN 8 Pontianak. This research used Quasi Experimental Research with control group design. This research used purposive sampling with X MIA 4 as the experimental class and X MIA 3 as the control class. The techniques of collecting data used measurement techniques, observation and interviews, while the data collection tools used the test results and retention of learning, observation sheet and questionnaire. Mann-Whitney U test as the data analysis showed that there were some differences in learning while the t-test showed that there were differences in retention of learning. The results of the data showed that there were differences in learning outcomes and retention between the students who were taught with and without mindmap media based on tiered training method. Learning by using mind-map media gave effectiveness to the result of students learning outcomes which 24,86% categorized as medium category, the retention of student learning for 8 days was 28,52% categorized as medium category.Keywords: learning outcomes, tier training method, mind-map, retention

<p><strong>Abstract:</strong> This study aims to determine the differences in student learning outcomes by applying the TGT model assisted by traditional games in the experimental class and student learning outcomes by applying conventional models to the control class. This study used a quasi experimental design with pretest-posttest control group design. The research data was collected using test instruments for learning outcomes in the form of pretest and posttest values. The results showed that there was a significant influence on the Teams Games Tournament learning model assisted by traditional games on student learning outcomes.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong><em> </em>Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengungkapkan pengaruh hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model <em>Teams Games Tournament</em> berbantuan permainan tradisional pada kelas eksperimen dan hasil belajar siswa yang menerapkan model konvensional pada kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan <em>desain quasi eksperimental</em> dengan rancangan <em>pretest-posttest control grup design</em>. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes untuk hasil belajar yang berupa nilai <em>pretest</em> dan <em>posttest</em>. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Gain Score Independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran <em>Teams Games Tournament</em> berbantuan permainan tradisional terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

This study aims to examine student learning outcomes using the type of snowball throwing learning towards student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects at MTs Islam Al-Maziyyah cianjur. The use of the method in this study is quasi-experimental with pretest and posttest equivalent to the control group design. Students of class VII Islamic MTs Al-Maziyyah cianjur which amounted to 3 classes were used as the population for this study while the research sample was class VII A as an experimental class that was treated with snowball throwing learning and VII C as a control class received normal learning treatment. The research instrument was in the form of student training experiments. The results showed that the influence of the relevant use of the type of snowball throwing learning was influenced on student learning outcomes from those using the usual approach.

The purpose of this study was to see the effect of the application of literacy based thematic teaching materials with a contextual approach to student learning outcomes. The method used in this study is a type of quantitative research. The research design used in this study was Quasi Experimental Design with the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. In the design of this study researchers used one experimental group with a control group that began with the pretest in each group. The results of this study found that the use of thematic teaching materials had a significant effect on student learning outcomes. Contextual based thematic teaching materials with a literacy approach can be used as supporting teaching materials in addition to the main teaching material.

ABSTRACTInfluence Of Learning Model Picture And Picture Assisted Media Respective Wheel Games To Activity And Learning Results On The Concept Of Animal Life Cycle Students Of  Class IV This research is motivated by low learning activities that affect student learning outcomes and ultimately student learning outcomes do not reach KKM. This study aims to determine how much influence the model of learning picture and picture assisted media game wheel of luck to the activity and student learning outcomes on science subjects class IV SDN Sendangmulyo 02 Semarang. The form of this research is quantitative research with Quasi Experimental Design design with Non-equivalent Control Group Design design. Sampling technique used is Nonprobability. The population of this study is all students of class IV SDN Sendangmulyo 02 Semarang. Data collection techniques in this study using documentation, observation, tests and interviews. Data analysis techniques consist of normality test, homogeneity test, completeness test and t test. Data analysis using t test obtained result 4,452 bigger than t table that is 1,990. The result of the research shows that the use of picture and picture learning model with the media of wheel of lucky game has an effect on the activity and the result of learning of fourth grade students of SDN Sendangmulyo 02 Semarang on the concept of animal life cycle. Keywords: Picture and Picture Model, Lucky Wheel, Activity and Learning Outcomes. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya aktivitas belajar yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa dan akhirnya hasil belajar siswa tidak mencapai KKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan media permainan roda keberuntungan terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV SDN Sendangmulyo 02 Semarang. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain Quasi Experimental Design dengan bentuk desain Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu Nonprobability. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN Sendangmulyo 02 Semarang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam  penelitian ini menggunakan dokumentasi, observasi, tes dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data terdiri dari uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji ketuntasan belajar dan uji t. Analisis data menggunakan uji t diperoleh hasil 4,452 lebih besar dari t tabel yaitu 1,990. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan media permainan roda keberuntungan berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Sendangmulyo 02 Semarang pada konsep daur hidup hewan.Kata kunci: Model Picture and Picture, Roda keberuntungan, Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar.

This study aims to determine the effect of interactive learning outcomes on classroom students V MI Islamiyah Pareng. The Minimum Exhaustiveness Criteria (KKM) of eleventh grade students of  SMA Negeri 1 Pemangkat on chemistry subject was still under 75, especially on the material about  hydrocarbon  compounds  and  petroleum  with  a  percentage  of  70.53.  Thus,  by using  an  appropriate  learning  models  could  improve  students’  achievement.  The purpose of this research was to know whether there was a difference and the influence of the  PBL learning model against student  learning  outcomes.  This  was  a  Quasi Experimental  Research  with  Non-equivalent  Control  Group  Design.  Sample  selected by using purposive sampling, they were XI MIA-3 students as the class experiment and XI  MIA-2  as  class  control.  The  techniques  of  data  collection  were  measurement, observation, and direct communication technique. The tools of data collection were test results learning, observation sheets, and interview guidelines. Based on data analysis using  non-parametric  test  of  U-Mann  Whitney  showed  that  there  was  differences  of learning  result,  that  was  0,000  <0,05.  This  showed  that  students'  learning  outcomes was  different  between  different  experimental  class  with  control  class.  The  effect  size obtained by the student learning result was 1.19 which is included in the high criterion. Keywords:  Learning  outcomes, Problem  Based  Learning (PBL),  hydrocarbon compounds

Berdasarkan hasil observasi, wawancara, dan data hasil belajar IPS kurang maksimal dikarenakan kurangnya variasi model pembelajaran dan minimnya penggunaan media. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan model kooperatif Talking Stick berbantuan media audiovisual terhadap hasil belajar IPS dan mendeskripsikan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah cluster random sampling, dengan sampel sebanyak 111 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung (3,333)>ttabel (2,022) yang berarti model kooperatif Talking Stick berbantuan media audiovisual efektif terhadap hasil belajar IPS. Hasil uji n-gain kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol (0,524545>0,298035) kriteria sedang. Pengamatan aktivitas siswa menunjukkan rata-rata skor aktivitas siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan kelas kontrol (75%>56%). Simpulan penelitian ini adalah model kooperatif Talking Stick berbantuan media audiovisual efektif terhadap hasil belajar IPS dan meningkatkan aktivitas siswa kelas IV SD Gugus Garuda Karanganyar Demak. Based on observations, interviews, and the obtained learning outcomes data, it showed that social studies outcomes were less maximal because lack of variation learning model and less of using instructional media. This research aims to examine the effectiveness of the Talking Stick cooperative model assisted by audiovisual media and to describe students activity on learning process. This type of research is quasi experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling, with 111 students as samples. Data collection used test, observation, interview, and documentation. Hypothesis test results indicate that tcount (3,333)>ttable (2,022) which means the Talking Stick cooperative model assisted by audiovisual media is effective on social studies learning outcomes. The N-gain test results of the experimental class are higher than the control class (0.524545>0.298035) moderate criteria. The observation shows the average score of the experimental class student activity is better than control class (75%>56%). The conclusion of this research is the Talking Stick cooperative model assisted by audiovisual media is effective in social studies learning outcomes and  increase students activity of 4th grade elementary school of cluster Garuda Karanganyar Demak.

The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of class VII students of SMP Negeri 20 Kupang. This study aims to determine the effect of the Make A Match type of cooperative learning model on learning outcomes. The experimental research method used is the Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The population of class VII students was 253 students and the sample of class VIID and class VIIH was 54 students. Data collection using learning outcomes tests. Analyzed using t-test, assisted by SPSS For Windows version 23. Hypothesis test results obtained tcount 8,194> 2,00665 ttable at 0,000 significance or less than 0.05, indicating that there are differences in student learning outcomes between the control and experimental classes. It is shown by increasing students' understanding of the digestive system material, students look very enthusiastic in learning, have curiosity, and dare to express opinions during the learning process. Therefore, the Make A Match learning model has great potential in developing students' ideas on problem-solving in learning, as evidenced by the high percentage of student learning outcomes, namely C1 93.055%, C2 75.462%, and C3 73.765%.

This research aims to determine the effect of mind mapping learning methods on the basic laws of chemistry toward learning outcomes of students of class X MIPA in SMA Negeri 2 Langowan. The sample used in this study were all students of class X MIPA of SMA Negeri 2 Langowan. This research uses an experimental method, with the research method used is Quasi Experiment  with Nonequivalent Control Group Design design. The research data were obtained from post-test results. Obtained the average value of student learning outcomes Experiment class is 85. The results showed the value of tcount = 15.7> ttable = 2.21, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. Based on the results of the research it can be concluded that there is an influence on student learning outcomes on the basic laws of chemistry using mind mapping learning methods.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan three corner drill terhadap kelincahan dan power otot tungkai. Jenis penelitian adalah quasi experimental dengan rancangan the non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan siswa putra peserta ektrakurikuler sepak bola SMPN 2 Pekutatan. Data post-test kelincahan dan power otot tungkai pada kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol dianalisis dengan uji-t independent pada taraf signifikansi (α) 0,05 dengan bantuan program SPSS 16.0. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t independent didapatkan hasil : (1) untuk variabel kelincahan, hasil perbandingan kelompok perlakuan dan kontrol didapatkan nilai thitung = -2,948 , dengan nilai signifikansi 0,009, (2) untuk variabel power, hasil perbandingan kelompok perlakuan dan kontrol didapatkan nilai thitung = 3,176, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,005. Nilai signifikansi hitung lebih kecil dari nilai α (Sig < 0,05), dengan demikian hipotesis penelitian “pelatihan three corner drill berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kelincahan dan power otot tungkai pada siswa putra peserta ektrakurikuler sepak bola SMPN 2 Pekutatan” diterima. Dari hasil analisis data dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa : (1) Pelatihan three corner drill berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kelincahan pada siswa putra peserta ektrakurikuler sepak bola SMP Negeri 2 Pekutatan (2) Pelatihan three corner drill berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan power otot tungkai pada siswa putra peserta ektrakurikuler sepak bola SMP Negeri 2 Pekutatan. Kata Kunci : kelincahan, daya ledak, three corner drill The purpose of this research was to find out the effect of three corner drill training toward the increased agility and power muscle of legs. The type of research was a quasi-experimental and the design of research was the non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects were man’s student football extracurricular participants of SMPN 2 Pekutatan. Agility and muscle power of legs posttest to the treatment group and the control group were analyzed by independent t-test at significance 0,05 with SPSS 16.0. Based on independent t-test results were showed : (1) to the agility variable, the comparison of the treatment and the control group values obtained t = -2,948, with a significance value of 0,009, (2) to muscle power of legs variable, the comparison of the treatment and the control group values obtained t = 3,176, with a significance value of 0,005. Calculated significance value smaller than the value of 0,05 (Sig < 0.05), thus the research hypothesis "three corner drill training affect the increased agility and muscle power of legs in football extracurricular participants of SMPN 2 Pekutatan " was received. From the analyzed and discussion were concluded that : (1) three corner drill training effect the increased agility in football extracurricular participants of SMPN 2 Pekutatan, (2) three corner drill training effect the increased muscle power of legs in football extracurricular participants of SMPN 2 Pekutatan. keyword : Agility, power, three corner drill
