The Minimum Exhaustiveness Criteria (KKM) of eleventh grade students of  SMA Negeri 1 Pemangkat on chemistry subject was still under 75, especially on the material about  hydrocarbon  compounds  and  petroleum  with  a  percentage  of  70.53.  Thus,  by using  an  appropriate  learning  models  could  improve  students’  achievement.  The purpose of this research was to know whether there was a difference and the influence of the  PBL learning model against student  learning  outcomes.  This  was  a  Quasi Experimental  Research  with  Non-equivalent  Control  Group  Design.  Sample  selected by using purposive sampling, they were XI MIA-3 students as the class experiment and XI  MIA-2  as  class  control.  The  techniques  of  data  collection  were  measurement, observation, and direct communication technique. The tools of data collection were test results learning, observation sheets, and interview guidelines. Based on data analysis using  non-parametric  test  of  U-Mann  Whitney  showed  that  there  was  differences  of learning  result,  that  was  0,000  <0,05.  This  showed  that  students'  learning  outcomes was  different  between  different  experimental  class  with  control  class.  The  effect  size obtained by the student learning result was 1.19 which is included in the high criterion. Keywords:  Learning  outcomes, Problem  Based  Learning (PBL),  hydrocarbon compounds

This research aims to analyze the learning model's practice and its effect on increasing student activity and learning outcomes in listening subjects. This study employed quasi-experimental research with a non-equivalent control group design. The data were gained using observation and tests. It is analyzed by reflection and statistical test of SPPS. The results show that the application of the AMETTA learning model effectively develops student learning activities and outcomes. The result of hypothesis testing with sig. (2-tailed) was 0.033 (˂ 0.05) It indicates that Ho is rejected. Thus, there is a significant difference between the average student learning outcomes in the experimental and control classes. In other words, the application of AMETTA learning model has a significant effect on students’ learning outcomes.

This research is motivated by the availability of the snake and ladder game on the material of the kingdoms of Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism based on HOTS questions which have not been tested for their effectiveness on student learning outcomes. This study aims to reveal the effectiveness level of the use of snake and ladder media in the material of Islamic, Hindu and Buddhist kingdoms on student learning outcomes at SDN Ngaringan 03 Blitar. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research design with a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were grade 4 students at SDN Ngaringan Blitar. The research sample was taken using purposive sampling technique so that class 4A was selected as the experimental class and class 4 B as the control class. The instrument of this research is a test of learning outcomes by providing a pretest and posttest in the form of an objective test with 4 answer choices as many as 25 items taken from 40 questions that have been tested. The data analysis technique used was the N-Gain test and the two-mean similarity test (t-test). The results showed an increase in learning outcomes was better in the experimental class than in the control class. This is evidenced by the posttest mean scores of the experimental class and the control class respectively 92.12 and 73.96. This is also evidenced by the average N-Gain test for the experimental class of 0.762 with the high category and the control class of 0.294 in the low category, and supported by hypothesis testing carried out by t-test using the Independent Samples Test showing Sign 2 Tailed < 0.05, this indicates that the use of snake and ladder media is effective.

Abstrak Berdasarkan hasil observasi wawancara dan data hasil belajar didapat bahwa hasil belajar IPS belum optimal dikarenakan dalam proses pembelajaran kurang keterlibatan secara aktif dari para siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning berbantuan media audiovisual terhadap hasil belajar muatan pelajaran IPS kelas IV SDN Gugus Sultan Agung Pecangaan Jepara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental dengan desain non equivalent control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah cluster random sampling, dengan sampel sebanyak 112 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung (2,592) > ttabel (2,002) yang berarti model Discovery Learning berbantuan media audiovisual efektif terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV. Hasil uji N-gain kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol (0,477 > 0,286) kriteria sedang.  Simpulan penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran Discovery Learning berbantuan media audiovisual efektif terhadap hasil belajar mupel IPS siswa kelas IV SDN Gugus Sultan Agung Pecangaan Jepara. Based on interview observations and learning outcomes data, it is found that social studies learning outcomes are not optimal because  there is less active involvement of students in the learning process. This study aims to test the effectiveness of the Discovery Learning model assisted by audiovisual media on learning outcomes of social studies content of the fourth grade social studies at SDN Cluster Sultan Agung Pecangaan Jepara. This type of research is a quasi experimental design with non equivalent control group design. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling, with a sample of 112 students. Data collection uses test, observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Hypothesis test results indicate that the value of tcount (2.592) > ttable (2.002), which means that the Discovery Learning model assisted by audiovisual media is effective against social studies learning outcomes of fourth grade students. The N-gain test results of the experimental class are higher than the control class (0.477 > 0.286) moderate criteria. The conclusion of this research is the Discovery Learning model assisted by audiovisual media which is effective on the learning outcomes of Social Studies students 4th grade SDN Cluster Sultan Agung Pecangaan Jepara.

This study aims to determine how much influence the model of learning picture and picture assisted media game wheel of luck to the activity and student learning outcomes on science subjects class IV SDN Sendangmulyo 02 Semarang. The form of this research is quantitative research with Quasi Experimental Design design with Non-equivalent Control Group Design design. Sampling technique used is Nonprobability. The population of this study is all students of class IV SDN Sendangmulyo 02 Semarang. Data collection techniques in this study using documentation, observation, tests and interviews. Data analysis techniques consist of normality test, homogeneity test, completeness test and t test. Data analysis using t test obtained result 4,452 bigger than t table that is 1,990. The result of the research shows that the use of picture and picture learning model with the media of wheel of lucky game has an effect on the activity and the result of learning of fourth grade students of SDN Sendangmulyo 02 Semarang on the concept of animal life cycle. Keywords: Picture and Picture Model, Lucky Wheel, Activity and Learning Outcomes. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya aktivitas belajar yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa dan akhirnya hasil belajar siswa tidak mencapai KKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan media permainan roda keberuntungan terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV SDN Sendangmulyo 02 Semarang. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain Quasi Experimental Design dengan bentuk desain Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu Nonprobability. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN Sendangmulyo 02 Semarang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam  penelitian ini menggunakan dokumentasi, observasi, tes dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data terdiri dari uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji ketuntasan belajar dan uji t. Analisis data menggunakan uji t diperoleh hasil 4,452 lebih besar dari t tabel yaitu 1,990. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan media permainan roda keberuntungan berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Sendangmulyo 02 Semarang pada konsep daur hidup hewan.Kata kunci: Model Picture and Picture, Roda keberuntungan, Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar.

The background of the research is an effort to develop the quality and explore the potential of students. Teachers are strived to use the right learning model, namely problem-based learning models combined with online learning methods (learning from home) that have been decided by the Ministry of Education and Culture during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of problem-based learning models in improving student learning outcomes in geography subjects at SMAN 1 Langowan. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with a pretests-posttests control group design. The research variable with the independent variable is the problem-based learning model and the dependent variable is the learning outcome. The results showed that the problem-based learning model was effective and efficient to improve student learning outcomes. The comparison of learning outcomes shows the experimental class with 76.2 pretests and 87.7 posttests and the control class with 74.4 pretests and 81.8 posttests. It also encourages students to be more active and creative in overcoming the problems encountered in learning.

ABSTRACTThe results and retention of student learning is still low in learning the concept of mole due to the difficulties of students to understand the concept and the lack of ability to resolve the matter of calculation. This study aimed to determine the differences in the results and retention of learning between the students who were taught with and without using mind-map media based on tier training method in the material of mole concept, knowing the great effectiveness of mind-map media based tier training method toward the results and retention of students in the material of mole concept at X grade students of SMAN 8 Pontianak. This research used Quasi Experimental Research with control group design. This research used purposive sampling with X MIA 4 as the experimental class and X MIA 3 as the control class. The techniques of collecting data used measurement techniques, observation and interviews, while the data collection tools used the test results and retention of learning, observation sheet and questionnaire. Mann-Whitney U test as the data analysis showed that there were some differences in learning while the t-test showed that there were differences in retention of learning. The results of the data showed that there were differences in learning outcomes and retention between the students who were taught with and without mindmap media based on tiered training method. Learning by using mind-map media gave effectiveness to the result of students learning outcomes which 24,86% categorized as medium category, the retention of student learning for 8 days was 28,52% categorized as medium category.Keywords: learning outcomes, tier training method, mind-map, retention

Among the forms of problems in the thematic learning activities of the 2013 curriculum are students having difficulty understanding learning materials and the use of media used by teachers are not appropriate with the material being taught, so students are not interested in learning and difficult to understand the concept of the material being taught, so that learning outcomes are obtained did not reach the expected value. So to overcome these problems requires the use of appropriate media in order to improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the acquisition of student learning outcomes by using a diaroma media on the theme of the ecosystem. The method used is in this study is a quasi-experimental study with a non equivalent control group design. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using quantitative analysis techniques. From the results of research on the use of diaroma media shows that the use of diorama media on ecosystem themes in grade 5 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah increases learning interest and can improve student learning outcomes. Thus the diaroma media can be used for ecosystem material.

This research aims to determine the effect of mind mapping learning methods on the basic laws of chemistry toward learning outcomes of students of class X MIPA in SMA Negeri 2 Langowan. The sample used in this study were all students of class X MIPA of SMA Negeri 2 Langowan. This research uses an experimental method, with the research method used is Quasi Experiment  with Nonequivalent Control Group Design design. The research data were obtained from post-test results. Obtained the average value of student learning outcomes Experiment class is 85. The results showed the value of tcount = 15.7> ttable = 2.21, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. Based on the results of the research it can be concluded that there is an influence on student learning outcomes on the basic laws of chemistry using mind mapping learning methods.

Research on the effect of the problem-based learning model in the basic laws of chemistry on student’s learning outcomes in class X MAN 2 Model Palu has been done. This study aimed to determine the effect of the application of the problem-based learning model in the basic laws of chemistry on student’s learning outcomes in class X MAN 2 Model Palu. The type of research was a quasi-experimental study non-randomized design with pretest-posttest control group design. The sample was conducted with a purposive sampling technique. The study sample was students in class X MIA 6 as an experimental group (n = 22) and students in class X MIA 3 as a control group (n = 22). The data testing of students' learning outcomes used a non-parametric statistical analysis, the analysis of Mann-Whitney U-Test. The research results indicated that the mean value of the experiment class was high compared to the control class, 22.61 >18.39. The statistical analysis obtained that sig. 2-tailed (0,032) ˂ 0.05 and Zcalculation (-2.149) ˂ Ztable (-1.96). The average value of the experiment class was 82.95 while the average value of the control class was 73.64. So it can be concluded that there is the effect of applying the problem-based learning model in the basic laws of chemistry on student’s learning outcomes.

This study aims to determine the effect of problem-based learning models on student learning outcomes. This study is Nonequivalent control group design. The sample in this study was class VII which was determined randomly. The material used is the potential and utilization of natural resources. The data obtained are then tested differently using the independent sample t-test. The results showed that the two research classes experienced positive changes regarding student learning outcomes. In the experimental class the problem-based learning model shows learning outcomes that are better than class controls. Calculation of the independent sample t-test posttest shows that students with Sig. (2-tailed) 0.019, where 0.019 <0.05 means that there is a significant difference. The existence of significant differences indicates that there is an influence of problem-based learning models on student learning outcomes.
