The background that encourage of this study is the lack of thematic learning media involving student creativity and supporting school literacy activities as a source of student learning materials. The purpose of the study to determine the feasibility of a simple story-based media story telling as a supplement of teaching materials theme of Care Against 4th grade elementary school. The type of research used is Research and Development (RnD) with Borg and Gall thinking model. Data analysis techniques used descriptive qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The feasibility result based on data analysis by experts obtained the average percentage of 92.46% for media feasibility and 91.31% for the feasibility of learning materials. The acquisition of teacher response to media acceptance obtained percentage in SD Negeri Mranggen 01 equal to 95,58%, SD Negeri Mranggen 02 equal to 88,25% and SD Negeri Mranggen 04 got percentage equal to 91,17% Result questionnaire student response learn 90,64% Elementary School of Mranggen 01, 93.21% in SD Negeri Mranggen 02 and 85.36% in SD Negeri Mranggen 04. Media story telling simple montage based as a supplement teaching materials subject to the theme of living beings have met the criteria very well and deserve to be used in learning process

This study aims to find out what is the most dominant way teachers use in motivating students on thematic learning. This research was conducted at Public Elementary School 37 Pekanbaru. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The subjects in this study were class teachers at Public Elementary School 37 Pekanbaru. The data was collected using observation techniques, and research questionnaires. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be known that the way teachers motivate students in thematic learning at State Elementary School 37 Pekanbaru consists of nine indicators, namely giving a figure with a percentage of 11.9%. Gift Giving Indicator with a percentage of 10.0%. Competition Indicator with a percentage of 11.4%. Indicator Of Growing Ego-involvement with a percentage of 10.5%. The Indicator Gives a Replay with a percentage of 12.0%. Indicators Knowing Learning Outcomes with a percentage of 11.5%. The Indicator Gives Praise with a percentage of 12.0%. Indicators Provide Penalties with a percentage of 9.7%. And the Indicator Gives Desire to learn with a percentage of 11.0%. So the average percentage of the overall percentage is 87.5% and belongs to the category always. This means that most teachers always use nine ways to motivate the students during the teaching process in the school. So it can be concluded that the way teachers motivate students in the most dominant thematic learning used by teachers is by giving praise and giving repeats because with the same percentage

This research is motivated by poor teacher performance. For this reason the aim of this research is to improve teacher performance by carrying out academic supervision. This study uses a school action research design that has stages of planning, implementation, observation, reflection. This research was conducted at the target schools in Dumai city from March 4 to April 27. The subjects of this study were grade IV elementary school teachers totaling 11 people. Data analysis instruments use observation sheets that are analyzed and described according to the criteria set. The results showed that the teacher's performance in the first cycle had an average percentage of 65% with sufficient criteria, classically the number of teachers who achieved the indicator of success was 3 people (27%). After repairs with academic supervision, the performance of teachers in the second cycle increased with a percentage of 81% with sufficient criteria. Classically the number of teachers who achieved good performance was 9 people (81%). The conclusion of this study is the implementation of academic supervision can improve the performance of elementary school teachers in the city of Dumai.

The purpose of this study was to describe the feasibility of teaching materials based on an open-ended approach to improve the reasoning abilities of fourth grade students in elementary schools. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development). The subjects of this study were 3 classroom teachers. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative data analysis (data reduction, data presentation and conclusion) and quantitative descriptive data analysis. Based on the results of stage 1 media validation, it was obtained 84.8%, and the results of stage 2 media validation were obtained 94.8%. The result of material validation for stage 1 was obtained 84.6%, and validation for material for stage 2 was obtained 93.3%. The results of initial field trials obtained media 93.7% and material 92.3%. This shows that the teaching material is declared valid and suitable for use. Based on the results of this study, the suggestion that can be conveyed is that teaching materials based on an open-ended approach can be used as a tool for teaching and learning resources for students.

The purpose of this study was to determine the perceptions of the student teachers of the Elementary School Teacher Study Program (PGSD) as a provision to the teaching profession. This research is a quantitative descriptive. The population of this study were all student teachers from batch 2015 and 2016 who had participated in the introduction to the school field (PLP) program. Sampling in this study was taken using accidental techniques, seen from the number of research samples of 50 student teachers of batch 2015 and 47 student teachers of batch 2016. The data collection method used was a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques were done using quantitative data analysis of percentage formulas. Student perceptions can be seen from each indicator as follows: (1) Indicator of absorption of stimuli or objects from outside individuals from the perception of batch 2015 student teachers acquired an average percentage of 75.28% with the category of "good" and from the perception of batch 2016 student teachers acquired the average percentage of 75.82% with the category "good". (2) Indicators of understanding from the perception of batch 2015 student teachers acquired an average percentage of 78.18% with the category "good" and from the perception of batch 2016 student teachers acquired an average percentage of 69.98% with the category of "good". (3) Indicators of assessment or evaluation from the perception of batch 2015 student teachers acquired an average percentage of 76.76% with the category of "good" and from the perception of batch 2016 student teachers acquired an average percentage of 78.73% with the category of good. Student teachers' perception of the implementation of introduction to the school field (PLP) as a provision to the teaching profession is categorized as "good".

Factual conditions require the development of teaching materials in thematic learning using a scientific approach to improve the available teaching materials. This study aims to: 1) examine the factual conditions for the use of teaching materials in thematic learning in the 2013 curriculum; 2) knowing the development of scientific based thematic teaching materials for fourth grade elementary students; 3) knowing expert judgment on the feasibility of scientific-based thematic teaching materials for fourth grade elementary students; 4) knowing the effect of the use of scientifically based thematic teaching materials on the learning achievement of fourth grade elementary school students; 5) knowing the teacher's assessment of learning using thematically based thematic teaching materials for grade IV elementary school students; 6) knowing the response of students to learning using thematically based thematic teaching materials for fourth grade elementary school students. This study uses Development Research with qualitative and quantitative research designs. The development process uses the 4-D model of Thiagarajan, Semel and Semel which has been modified to be the stage of defining, designing, and developing. Teaching materials that have been validated by experts get the category of "very valid and without revision" from expert responses and teacher evaluations with agreed criteria, student responses to the use of teaching materials in learning get very good responses from students. The results of the trials using the experimental design The Before And After Design show that there is an effect of the use of scientifically based thematic teaching materials on the learning achievement of PPKn; 2) there is the influence of the use of scientifically based thematic teaching materials on social studies learning achievements; 3) there is the influence of the use of scientifically based thematic teaching materials on the learning achievement of science. Scientific based thematic teaching materials for Grade IV Primary School students can be used in learning.

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the performance of elementary school teachers in Manado City was in accordance with the expectations of the parents. To answer the objectives of this study, researchers conducted research based on the quantitative descriptive method with Importantnce Performance Analysis (IPA) method analysis. The results of the research conducted show that based on the results of the calculation of the average performance appraisal (performance) performance of elementary school teachers in Manado City is below the average rating of expectations (Importance): 2.67 <4.21 and the performance of each variable of service quality. The results of the respondent's assessment score (suitability level) are below 100% (65.7% <100%) which means that it is not satisfactory. The interpretation of the Cartesian diagram can be explained as follows: aspects or attributes that affect teacher performance satisfaction, namely aspects of work quality (1) and aspects of communication. Otherwise. Aspects that are good and in accordance with what the community expects and their performance needs to be maintained (quadrant B) and the result is only one indicator, namely ability (4). In other words, there are achievements made by teachers, in this case, according to the parents, is the teacher's ability to carry out teaching. From the results of the research and data analysis, it can be concluded that based on the analysis of the results of the study, it can be concluded that the overall indicator of the performance level of teachers in elementary schools in Manado City based on processing and data analysis falls into the Low category which must be improved implementation.

Quality teaching materials are materials that contain character values from good refraction for children. The purpose of this study was to analyze the practicality and attractiveness of the PPK-based thematic modules. The research method used in this study is quantitative descriptive. Subjects in this study were students and teachers of grade 4 elementary schools in using thematic modules based on PPK. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires. The results of this study were to determine the level of practicality and attractiveness of thematic modules based on the fourth grade PPK elementary school. It is hoped that through the results of the analysis, it can produce better quality PPK-based modules. Can help teachers use and develop different PPK-based modules to apply to students.

This research categorized as Research and Devenlopment (R&D) that aims to (1) describe and identify the design process and the feasibility of learning materials of Bali based on Balinese culture, (2) to describe and analyze the responses of VII grade students of SMP PGRI 3 Denpasar towards the development of Indonesian language based materials of local culture Bali. The data obtained through observation, interview, and questionnaire methods. Furthermore, the collected then analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the development of Indonesian language learning materials based on local Balinese culture included into very well category. It was based on the validation results by the subject matter expert who gave an assessment with an average score of 88.42. The results of the pilot test, both initial field trials and major field trials also showed an average score of 90.28 and 92.50 included in the excellent category. Moreover, a good response is also obtained in this study, the overall average score given by students as users of teaching materials is 4.45 included very positive category. Thus, it can be concluded that the developed teaching materials are feasible to be used in the learning process.

The formulation of the  problem in this  study  is how students respond to learning Islamic Education (PAI) courses using  the “Alms, Grants and  Gifts” module at the Bengkulu Al-Fatah  Pharmacy Academy. This research is in- cluded in quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study  were all third semester students at the Beng- kulu  Al-Fatah  Pharmacy Academy, while  the  research sample used  was third semester B1 students at the  Al-Fatah Pharmacy Academy  Bengkulu Academic Year 2016-2017. The instruments used  in this study were the student response questionnaire and  the module “Alms, Grants and  Gifts”. The technique of collecting data  using questionnaires and  test sheets. Based on the research that  has been done, the results show that : The average percentage score of all students is82.86764706% and is classified as very high criteria. It can be concluded that the 3rd grade B1 Semester 3-2017 Academic Year at the Al-Fatah  Pharmacy Academy gave a positive response to the learning of Islamic Education courses using the “Alms, Grants, and Gifts” module

The content of the Pre-service Primary Teacher Education Study Program of FKIP Untan has provided students with mastery of scientific substance in preparing thematic learning teaching materials for 2013 Curriculum. The study aimed to describe the ability of Primary teacher Education students to prepare thematic learning teaching materials for 2013 curriculum. The research was a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this study were students of the PPL Regular Program class 2017. The data source in this study was the teaching material documents constructed by students. The research procedure used the stages of planning, implementing, analyzing data, and writing reports. Data collection techniques used document study techniques with data collection tools in the form of teaching material documents. The research data analysis was carried out by following the data analysis flow developed by Miles and Hubberman (1992: 15-20). The analysis activity begins with data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The ability of students to construct 2013 thematic learning teaching materials was very good. It can be seen from the percentage of results achieved, namely 87.50% (7 students) obtained scores in the range 81-100 and only 12.50 (1 student) scored in the range 61-80. For every aspect assessed, the average student ability was also good. It can be seen from the percentage achieved, namely 58.33% (7 aspects) obtained scores in the range 81-100 and 41.67 (5 aspects) obtained scores in the range 61-80.
