 Abstract: A doctor is one of the professions in the health sector, in order to obtain this degree one must undergo medical education. Learning outcomes are obtained through 3P stages in the form of presage, process, and products. Presage factors, including personal and situational. Personal factors have several components including intelligence. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship of intelligence with grade point average of the Medical Study Program of the Mulawarman University Medical Faculty. This study was an observational analytic study with cross sectional method. The data source is secondary data. The research respondents were students of the Medical Study Program of the Mulawarman University Medical Faculty who met the inclusion criteria. Analysis with chi square alternative test is Fisher's test. The results of the study found 305 respondents who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Overall data of male respondents were 86 people (28.2%) and female respondents there were 219 people (71.8%). The most intelligence data on respondents is the average category of 131 students (43%), the highest achievement index owned by respondents is the Good category as many as 226 students (74.1%). The overall results of the study were significance p = 0.018, seen at each grade at IV-grade (p = 0.017), III-grade (p = 0.503), II-grade (p = 1,000), I-grade (p = 0.238), can it was concluded that overall there was a correlation of intelligence with grade point average (GPA), while at each grade only at IV-grade had similar results.

The success of the student learning process is characterized by academic achievement. One of the factors that can affect academic achievement is the learning environment. This study aims to determine the relationship of the students’ perception on the campus learning environment and their GPA in school of medicine of Mulawarman University. This research is an observational analytic study with cross sectional method. The research respondents were students of the Medicine Study Program of the School of Medicine in Mulawarman University by using total sample technique. The method of data analysis used descriptive data analysis and the analytic data analysis used chi square test. There were 316 respondents who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, male respondents were 91 people (28.8%) and female respondents were 225 people (71.2%). As many as 268 students (84.8%) had more positive than negative perception on the campus learning environment, while as many as 232 students (73.4%) got good category for the grade point. The results of the study obtained p=0.000. In conclusion, there is a relationship between student perceptions of the learning environment on campus with an grade point.

Objective: To analyze the relationship between anxiety, self-esteem, happiness index and primary school students’ academic performance in Chilean adolescents from the Biobío province. Methodology: 733 (46.1% girls; 12 (1.3 years)) public primary school students that completed the 2018 Health and School Performance Survey carried out in the Biobío province were included in this cross-sectional analysis. The BECK Anxiety Inventory (BAI) was used to measure anxiety while happiness index and self-esteem were measured using the subjective happiness scale and the Rosenberg self-esteem scale, respectively. School performance was measured by grade point average (GPA) of language, math, physical education and cumulative GPA, and behavior associated with cognition in the school context was also considered. The relationship between mental health indicators and school performance was investigated using a one-way ANOVA and Pearson correlation. Results: In comparison to students with low anxiety levels and high self-esteem and happiness levels, students with higher anxiety levels, lower self-esteem and happiness levels perceived themselves as having memory problems. They were also slower to solve math problems, had a shorter attention span in class and presented more difficulties in solving complex tasks, as well as being more nervous during testing. These students also got the lowest grade point average in math, language and physical education. Conclusion: High anxiety levels, low self-esteem and low happiness levels were associated with lower school performance and weaker behavior associated with cognition in Chilean adolescents. Implementing plans of emotional education and mental health could improve academic achievement.

Background. Smartphone is one of the most commonly used communication device compared to various other devices both in young and old generation. Excessive use of smartphones can cause health problems, one of them is Tenosynovitis De Quervain (TDQ). Purpose. An understanding of the relationship between the average duration of smartphone usage per day with TDQ incidence. Methods. This research is an analytic observational with cross sectional approach. The research samples were 153 students of the Medical Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine, Mulawarman University, taken using consecutive sampling technique. The data was analyzed using chi-square statistical test. Results. 86% of Mulawarman University Faculty of Medicine students use smartphones with a duration of ≥5 hours. 68% of Mulawarman University Faculty of Medicine students have positive TDQ results. The relationship of the average duration of smartphone use with TDQ events showed p = 0,000. Conclusion. There is a relationship between the average duration of smartphone usage with TDQ incidence.   Keywords : Usage duration, smartphone, tenosynovitis, de quervain

ABSTRAKHasil belajar (prestasi belajar) merupakan perubahan perilaku yang diperoleh seseorang setelah mengalami aktivitas belajar. Perolehan aspek-aspek perubahan perilaku tersebut tergantung pada apa yang dipelajari oleh seseorang. Berhasil atau tidaknya seseorang untuk belajar disebabkan beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi dalam pencapaian hasil belajar (prestasi belajar) yaitu berasal dari dalam diri orang yang belajar dan ada pula yang dari luar dirinya. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhinya, diantaranya adalah motivasi dan minat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan motivasi dan minat masuk Program Studi D  III Kebidanan dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa  STIKES Insan Cendekia Husada Bojonegoro. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik korelasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua mahasiswa Program Studi D III Kebidanan STIKES Insan Cendekia Husada Bojonegoro sebanyak 39 mahasiswa dengan  teknik total sampling dengan jumlah sampel 39. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa kuesioner. Analisis hubungan variabel dilakukan dengan menggunakan Yates Correction. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara motivasi masuk Program Studi D III Kebidanan dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa           (ρ =0,027) dan ada hubungan antara minat masuk Program Studi D III Kebidanan dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa (ρ =0,044). Saran untuk Program Studi D III Kebidanan STIKES Insan Cendekia Husada Bojonegoro agar meningkatkan prestasi belajar mahasiswa Prodi D III kebidanan STIKES Insan Cendekia Husada Bojonegoro dengan cara dosen atau pembimbing akademik menciptakan kondisi pembelajaran yang menarik, sarana prasarana yang menunjang, hubungan antara dosen dan mahasiswa yang baik, sehingga mahasiswa terdorong untuk butuh dan terus belajar dan melakukan pemantauan dan pendekatan lebih dalam terhadap mahasiswa tentang tujuan mereka untuk masuk di Program Studi D III Kebidanan. Kata Kunci : Motivasi, minat, prestasi belajar  ABSTRACT      Results of learning (learning achievement) is obtained by a person's behavior changes after experiencing learning activities. Acquisition aspects of the behavior change depending on what is learned by someone. Success or failure of someone to learn due to several factors that affect the achievement of learning outcomes (learning achievement) that comes from within the person who studied and some are from outside himself. Many factors influence it, such as motivation and interest. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of motivation and interest in D III Midwifery Studies Program with student achievement STIKES Insan Scholar Husada Bojonegoro. This type of research is analytic correlation. This study used cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all students of the D III Midwifery STIKES Insan Husada Bojonegoro Scholar at least 39 students with a total sampling with a sample of 39. This study used a questionnaire instrument. Variable correlation analysis done using Yates Correction. Results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between motivation incoming D III Midwifery Studies Program with student achievement (ρ = 0.027) and there is a correlation between interest in D III Midwifery Studies Program with student achievement (ρ = 0.044). Suggestions for Study Program D III Midwifery STIKES Insan Scholar Husada Bojonegoro in order to increase student achievement Prodi DIII midwifery personnel STIKES Scholar Husada Bojonegoro by way of a professor or academic supervisor creates an attractive learning conditions, infrastructure that support, the relationship between faculty and students good , so that students are encouraged to take and continue to learn and perform monitoring and deeper approach to the students about their goals for entry in the D III Midwifery Studies Program. ABSTRACTFirst year student are one of the groups that are prone to depression. This is because the first year student is in a transition period or in a new condition that initially senior high school student becomes a college student. In addition, busy schedules, new learning environments and homesickness can trigger depression in college students. This study used a cross sectional study design. Respondents in this study were new students of the Study Program Outside the Main Campus (PSDKU) of Airlangga University in Banyuwangi, class 2019 with a total of 110 students. Depression levels were obtained from the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI-II) questionnaire. Meanwhile, the adaptability was obtained from the Communicative Adaptability Scale (CAS) questionnaire and the place of residence was obtained from questions about where to live during college. A total of 53 out of 110 students (49,1%) experienced low depression and students who experienced high depression were 57 out of 110 students (50,9%). The results of the chi square test regarding the relationship between residence and the level of depression of new students, obtained data p= 0.008 (p <0.05). Chi-square test results regarding the relationship between adaptation ability and depression level of new students, obtained data p = 0.001 (p <0.05). There is a relationship between residence and adaptability with the degree of depression of new students. Higher education institutions are expected to pay more attention to the psychological conditions of students and new students are expected to maintain good coping management in facing the new environment.Keywords: depression level, adaptability, place to live, new students ABSTRAKMahasiswa baru adalah salah satu kelompok yang rentan mengalami depresi. Hal ini dikarenakan mahasiswa baru berada pada masa transisi atau suatu kondisi baru yang awalnya siswa SMA menjadi mahasiswa. Selain itu, jadwal yang padat, lingkungan belajar yang baru dan homesickness dapat memicu depresi pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian crosssectional. Responden pada penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa baru Program Studi Diluar Kampus Utama (PSDKU) Universitas Airlangga di Banyuwangi angkatan 2019 dengan jumlah 110 mahasiswa. Tingkat Depresi didapatkan dari kuisioner Beck Depression Inventory (BDI-II). Sedangkan kemampuan adaptasi didapatkan dari kuisioner Communicative Adaptability Scale (CAS) dan tempat tinggal didapatkan dari pertanyaan mengenai tempat tinggal selama kuliah. Sebanyak 49,1% (53 dari 110 mahasiswa) mengalami depresi ringan dan mahasiswa yang mengalami depresi berat sebanyak 50,9 (57 dari 110 mahasiswa). Hasil uji chisquare mengenai hubungan tempat tinggal dengan tingkat depresi mahasiswa baru, diperoleh data p=0,008 (p<0,05). Hasil uji chisquare mengenai hubungan kemampuan adaptasi dengan tingkat depresi mahasiswa baru, diperoleh data p=0,001(p<0,05). Terdapat hubungan antara tempat tinggal dan kemampuan adaptasi dengan tingkat depresi mahasiswa baru. Institusi perguruan tinggi diharapkan lebih memperhatikan kondisi psikologis mahasiswa dan mahasiswa baru diharapkan tetap mempertahankan manajemen koping yang baik dalam menghadapi lingkungan baru.Kata Kunci: tingkat depresi, kemampuan adaptasi, tempat tinggal, mahasiswa baru

<p class="Abstrak"><span lang="IN">Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pola lama studi mahasiswa fakultas teknik universitas Darma Persada dari</span><span lang="IN">data akademik. Metode yang digunakan adalah <em>clustering</em> algoritma K-Means. Variabel yang dianalisis adalah </span><span lang="IN">jurusan, daerah asal, umur, jenis kelamin, Indeks Prestasi Komulatif (IPK), Satuan Kredit Semester (SKS), tahun masuk, lama studi. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak WEKA. Penelitian dilakukan melalui pengumpulan data dari arsip atau  <em>database</em> biro Administrasi Akademik yaitu berupa data akademik mahasiswa fakultas teknik Universitas Darma Persada angkatan 2009 sampai 2014. Tahapan selanjutnya adalah <em>preprocessing</em> data yang dilakukan melalui analisis metode <em>clustering</em> menggunakan algoritma K-Means dengan terlebih dahulu menentukan jumlah <em>cluster </em>menggunakan metode Elbow dan interpretasi hasil. Berdasarkan hasil metode Elbow, jumlah <em>cluster</em> sebanyak 4 <em>cluster</em>. Berdasarkan hasil proses K-Means <em>clustering, </em>pembagian data pada masing-masing <em>cluster </em>adalah <em>cluster </em>1 berjumlah 556 data (26%), <em>cluster </em>2 berjumlah 414 data (19%), <em>cluster </em>3 berjumlah 189 data (9%) dan <em>cluster </em>4 berjumlah 1010 data (46%). Selanjutnya, yang memiliki lama studi lebih dari 4 tahun (lebih dari 8 semester) berada pada <em>cluster </em>2, <em>cluster </em>3, <em>cluster </em>4 sedangkan mahasiswa yang memiliki masa studi 4 tahun (8 semester) berada pada <em>cluster </em>1.</span></p><p class="Abstrak"><span lang="IN"><br /></span></p><p class="Abstrak"><em><strong><span lang="IN">Abstract</span></strong></em></p><p class="Judul2"><em>The duration of student study is one of the factors that influence the completing students' timeliness. Based on the policy of the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (BAN-PT) in Regulation No. 4 of 2017 concerning the Policy for Preparing Accreditation Instruments, the duration of study is one of the benchmarks and evaluation elements in accreditation of study programs. From the Faculty of Engineering academic data, Darma Persada University, many students take more than four years of study. The duration of study is one of the problems of the study program manager in terms of academic performance. This study aims to analyze the old patterns of study by students of the Faculty of Engineering, Darma Persada University from academic data. K-Means algorithm clustering technique is used with the variables are majors, the area of origin, age, gender, Grade Point Average (GPA), Semester Credit Unit (SKS), year of entry and study duration. The Waikato Environment for Knowledge Analysis (WEKA) software is used as an analytic tool. The initial stage of research is through collecting data from archives or Academic sections, namely academic data from students of the Faculty of Engineering, Darma Persada University, 2009 to 2014. The next stage is preprocessing data through K-Means algorithm clustering analysis by first calculating many clusters using the Elbow method and result interpretation. From the Elbow method result, the number of clusters used is 4 (four) clusters. Based on the results of the K-Means clustering process, the data sharing in each cluster is cluster 1 (one) totaling 556 data (26%), cluster 2 (two) totaling 414 data (19%), cluster 3 (three) totaling 189 data (9%) and cluster 4 (four) totaling 1010 data (46%). Furthermore, those who have more than 4 years of study are in cluster 2, cluster 3, cluster 4 and students who have a 4-year study period are in cluster 1.</em></p><p class="Judul2"> </p><p class="Abstrak"><em><strong><span lang="IN"><br /></span></strong></em></p>

ABSTRAKLatar Belakang: Stunting merupakan suatu istilah yang menggambarkan kondisi pertumbuhan tinggi badan kurang berdasarkan umur disesuaikan dengan Z-Score (<-2SD). Stunting pada balita dapat diakibatkan oleh kurangnya asupan zat gizi yang diperlukan bagi pertumbuhan anak. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan suplementasi vitamin A, pemberian imunisasi dan riwayat penyakit infeksi yakni diare dan ISPA terhadap kejadian stunting.Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan suplementasi vitamin A, pemberian imunisasi, dan penyakit infeksi terhadap stunting pada anak usia 24-59 bulan di Puskesmas Mulyorejo, Surabaya.Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik observasional dengan metode cross sectional. Besar sampel adalah 107 anak usia 24-59 bulan di Puskesmas Mulyorejo, Surabaya. terdiri dari 25 anak kelompok stunting dan 82 anak kelompok non- stunting. Cara pengambilan data melalui data sekunder posyandu dan wawancara langsung orang tua anak dengan pengisian kuisioner. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square, Fisher Exact, dan Mann Whitney.Hasil: Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil terdapat hubungan suplementasi vitamin A dengan stunting (p=0,000), tidak ada hubungan antara pemberian imunisasi terhadap stunting (p=0,332). Dalam riwayat penyakit infeksi, frekuensi diare dan ISPA ditemukan tidak ada hubungan dengan  stunting (p=0,053 dan p=0,082), begitu pula pada lama diare dan lama ISPA tidak berhubungan dengan stunting (p= 0,614 dan p=0,918).Kesimpulan: Suplementasi vitamin A berhubungan signifikan dengan stunting yang diamati pada anak usia 24-59 bulan di Puskesmas Mulyorejo, Surabaya. Kata kunci: kejadian stunting, vitamin A, imunisasi, penyakit infeksi, anak usia 24-59 bulanABSTRACTBackground: Stunting is a term that describes condition of lower height-for-age Z-Score (<-2SD). This study was conducted to determine the relationship between vitamin A supplementation, immunization and a history of infectious diseases, namely diarrhea and ARI to the incidence of stunting.Objectives: To determine the relationship between vitamin A supplementation, immunization, and history of infectious disease with the incidence of stunting in children aged 24-59 months at Puskesmas Mulyorejo, Surabaya.Methods: This study was an observational analytic study with cross sectional method. The sample size was 107 children aged 24-59 months at Puskesmas Mulyorejo, Surabaya. This study consisted of 25 children in the stunting group and 82 children in the non-stunting group. The method of data collection was through secondary data from posyandu and direct interviews with parents by filling out questionnaires. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test, fisher exact, and Mann Whitney.Results: The results of this study indicated that there was a relationship between vitamin A supplementation and with stunting (p = 0.000). There was no relationship between immunization and stunting (p = 0.332). In the history of infectious diseases, the frequency of diarrhea and ARI was found to have no relationship with stunting (p = 0.053 and p = 0.082), as well as the duration of diarrhea and duration of ARI there was no association with the stunting (p = 0.614 and p = 0.918).Conclusion: Vitamin A supplementation has significant relationship with stunting in children aged 24-59 months at Puskesmas Mulyorejo, Surabaya.

Cataract is the leading cause of 51% blindness case in the world. Cataract can only be cured trough surgery, but most people with cataract in Indonesia is not in undergoing surgery due to several factors. The increasing number of cataract victim whose not undergoing any treatment to cure them will resulting in increasing number of blindness case, so blindness cause by cataracts can be a public health problem. This research was conducted to determine the relationship of age, attitudes, knowledge and the cost of the action to perform cataract surgery. This research was an observational analytic study with cross sectional design. The samples were cataract patients in Undaan Eye Hospital Surabaya who were randomly selected using a simple random sampling based on medical records of 60 people. Data collection was done by taking secondary data and interviews to patients. Those variables was analyzed with chi square or Fisher’s exact with significancy level at 95%. The result showed that there were correlation between knowledge (p = 0.017), operating costs (p = 0.001) and attitude (0.000) while age was not related (p = 1.000), the actions to perform cataract surgery. The conclusion from this research was the attitude, knowledge and operating costs related to the actions to perform cataract surgery, while age was not related to the actions to perform cataract surgery. It is recommended to give through leaflets or other media in the lobby for improving patient education, counseling to the patient family, the doctor’s advice to convince patient for surgery.Keywords: practice, surgery, cataract, attitudes, costs

Abstract:Several factors usually affect student’s Grade Point Average (GPA), including family support, associate friends and learning intensity. This study aims to determine whether there is an indirect effect of family and friends support associating with the cumulative achievement index of students through the excitement of learning as an intervening variable. This type of research is ex-post facto with a population of 278 students of the 2015-2017 Mathematics Tadris Study Program. We used a Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique to select a sample of 164 students. We obtained data through questionnaires and documentation and then analyzed using path analysis. The results showed that there was an indirect influence of family and friends support associating with student GPA through the intensity of learning as an intervening variable.Abstrak:Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) mahasiswa biasanya dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, diantaranya adalah dukungan keluarga, teman bergaul dan intensitas belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh tidak langsung dukungan keluarga dan teman bergaul terhadap indeks prestasi komulatif mahasiswa melalui intensitas belajar sebagai variabel intervening. Jenis penelitian ini adalah ex-post facto dengan populasi sebanyak 278 mahasiswa Program Studi Tadris Matematika angkatan 2015-2017. Pengambilan sampel sebanyak 164 mahasiswa dilakukan dengan teknik Probability Sampling tipe Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Data diperoleh melalui kuisioner dan dokumentasi kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh tidak langsung dukungan keluarga dan teman bergaul terhadap IPK mahasiswa melalui intensitas belajar sebagai variabel interverning.
