The article is devoted to the scientific and pedagogical activities of the candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor of the Department of Museology and Cultural Heritage of St. Petersburg State Institute of Culture, Honored Worker of the Higher School of the Russian Federation L. M. Shlyakhtina. Working at the department since its foundation in 1988, she actively participates in the formation and implementation of educational and scientific strategies of this department of the university. As the author of the training courses «Theoretical problems of museology» and «Museum pedagogy», as well as the developer of innovative disciplines of educational programs in the direction of «Museology and protection of cultural and natural heritage» for bachelor’s and master’s degrees, L. M. Shlyakhtina greatly contributed to the professionalization of museum work in Russia. Analyzing the manuals and scientific works created by her and actively used in the educational process, which have become pivotal studies in the field of theoretical museology, museum pedagogy, museological education, the authors state the great personal contribution of L. M. Shlyakhtina in the formation of the scientific school of museology at SPbGIK and in the scientific and methodological support of the training process for the museum industry.

The following paper discusses the actual task of modern technical specialist training: getting him/her ready to communicate professionally in a foreign language. Practice requests are naturally reflected in the development of curricula and programs of higher professional education. The author demonstrates the urgency of the task in connection with the constantly changing foreign language professional communication, especially computer-mediated part of it. The author identifies two main approaches to the organization of studies at the university: changing the structure, content, methods of the course Foreign Language and the development of new courses of the curriculum. Within the framework of the second approach, the process of designing an educational and methodical complex for a professional communication course on the basis of a process approach is considered in some detail. The paper emphasizes the importance of using professional skills of prospective specialists to increase the effectiveness of the educational process, in particular, the development of copyright audio and video materials. The workshop for audio engineers, developed by the author of the paper, is successfully used in the educational process of Samara State Institute of Culture.

The article deals with an important component of the learning process - educational work, in terms of the formation of a moral and patriotic portrait of a graduate, as well as the formation of groups of universal competencies related to intercultural interaction and civic position. The task of improving upbringing work at the university received particular urgency in connection with the implementation of the strategy for the development of education in the Russian Federation. The authors attempt to evaluate and analyze educational work from the point of view of the process approach and system analysis. A hierarchical model of educational work is proposed and the components of the process are highlighted, and a system of indicators for assessing the quality of educational work is developed. The proposed approach can be applied in the formation and evaluation of the strategy for the development of the educational process in higher education and the development of work programs for educational work, as an obligatory element of the main professional educational program.

In this article we discuss about the main trends by using BIM-technologies in construction in the Russian Federation, possibilities of applying them in construction quality management and in staff training. Weoutlinethenecessity to improve the system of preparation and implementation of BIM-technologies in the new civil engineers educational process within the strategic development of the construction industry because it’s very important for the further development of construction, architecture and other engineering areas. Here we analyze the possibilities of using BIM-technology in education programs for students of various specialties in the absence of real skills to create drawings on the example of the University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.

The article presents the results of monitoring the readiness of the teaching staff to work with students with disabilities in educational institutions of higher education in the Astrakhan region, Volgograd region, Republic of Adygea, Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol. Information was collected by placing a questionnaire for teachers on the portal of higher inclusive education of the Russian Federation and analyzing the obtained quantitative data from General monitoring forms by region. The monitoring study confirmed the presence of a number of problematic aspects in ensuring the educational process for people with disabilities at the University: the need to develop inclusive competence of the teaching staff; the presence of psychological and methodological difficulties in organizing and conducting the educational process in inclusive academic groups; lack of sufficient knowledge about special technical means of training and skills of adaptation of educational and methodological support taking into account the educational needs of students of various nosological groups.

Анализируется проблема разработки, характеристики и реализации важного условия организации образовательного процесса в университете с применением технологий дистанционного обучения, связанного с созданием в университете качественной цифровой образовательной среды, развития технической инфраструктуры и повышения квалификации вузовских преподавателей с целью эффективного использования ими технологий дистанционного обучения в процессах цифровой трансформации высшей школы. Причем такое условие анализируется не только с позиции повышения эффективности организации исследуемого процесса, но и с позиции обеспечения деятельности вуза, отвечающей требованиям мировых стандартов, что чрезвычайно важно в формате реализуемой государственной программы Российской Федерации «Развитие образования» на 2018–2025 гг. Приводятся данные опроса студентов и преподавателей университета, освещающие результаты измерения уровня эффективности реализации проверяемого условия организации образовательного процесса в университете с применением технологий дистанционного обучения. The materials of this publication analyze the problem of development, characteristics and implementation of an important condition for the organization of the educational process at the university with the use of distance learning technologies, associated with the creation of a high-quality digital educational environment, the development of technical infrastructure and advanced training of university teachers in order to effectively use distance learning technologies in the processes of digital transformation of higher education. And a certain condition is analyzed not only from the perspective of improving the efficiency of the organization of the process under study, but the operations of the University that meets the requirements of world standards, which is extremely important in the format of the State program of the Russian Federation “Development of education” for 2018–2025. The results of study of the levels of effectiveness of the implementation of the conditions are tested and and the data of the questionnaire survey of students and teachers are provided. The article describes the terms “distant education” and “distant learning”. The synonymy of their meanings and the peculiarities of their use in the context of the characteristics of a special way of implementing the educational process at the university are noted. The features of the implementation of the selected condition that took place in 2020 are noted: flexibility in taking into account the time frame of classes and in choosing an individual pace of training; modularity; the use of various types of communication; wide coverage of the audience of students.

Students’ commitment and engagement in the educational process are shaped by a dense combination of factors, with effects on educational attainment and on the length of their educational careers. Decisions of prolonging education by enrolling in master’s degrees are beneficial for both individuals and societies, as such programs provide higher levels of specialized skills Longer educational careers are favored by a mix of factors acting at the level of individual, university, or wider environment. We focus our study on exploring factors conducive for students’ intentions to pursue master’s degrees considering longer educational careers as desirable outcomes. Thus, this article investigates how the individual and environmental factors interplay and shape the predisposition of students to prolong their educational career by enrolling in master’s degrees. For this, we applied three-level logistic regression models for a sample of 502 students enrolled in their final year of bachelor studies grouped by universities and universities grouped by counties. The empirical results revealed that the final grade, the father level of education, the type of working contract, and job seniority are individual-level determinants influencing the decision of enrolment in a master’s program. At the university level, the type of university and the university performance score positively impact the students’ decision to enroll in a master’s program. At the county level, the empirical evidence pointed out the significance of determinants such as the proportion of students enrolled in bachelor studies; participation rate in education and training; employment level in high-technology sectors (HTC), total-knowledge intensive sectors (KIS), and knowledge-intensive high-technology sectors (KIS_HTC); proportion of persons with tertiary education employed in science and technology; proportion of scientists and engineers; local development; R&D expenditure, personnel, and researchers in the business sector; average gross earnings; density of active firms; birth rate of companies; proportion of innovative enterprises or those introducing product innovations on the decision to enroll in a master’s program.

The current situation in the youth segment of the labour market is characterized by high unemployment and instability. The mechanisms regulating relations between the labour market and the educational services market do not ensure that the educational process of young people meets the needs and requirements of employers. In this regard, a necessary condition today is to improve the mechanisms with greater adaptive capacity, which would effectively solve the problem of youth employment. Thus, the purpose of this article is to study the practical mechanisms used in the UrFU to improve the adaptive capacity of young professionals and to assess the views of graduates on their application in the University. To this end, the empirical material obtained in the study of the opinion of students aged 20 to 21 years, on the basis of UrFU in Yekaterinburg, was analyzed using the questionnaire method. The relevance of the study is due to the existence of the problem of adaptation of young people in the labor market, which requires improvement, and is enhanced by the fact that it has a practical orientation. The materials of the work can be used in subsequent research of the youth segment of the labor market, as well as in the preparation of textbooks and reading training courses in universities on the basics of employment technologies and the effective behavior of young people in the labor market. The results of the study showed: 1. UrFU pays special attention to the promotion of employment and adaptation in the labor market of graduates, using mechanisms that have a more General (universal) character, but do not contain targeted (individual) assistance to graduates. 2. To solve the identified problems, the authors develop a special training course «technology of effective employment», aimed at improving the adaptive capacity of graduates of UrFU.

The article addresses the problem of evaluating the results of specialists as they graduate from their training. There are difficulties, not only with the decreasing number of students in training courses, but also with inadequate methods for educational management. There is a growing need for managers and subject lecturers to obtain information on the results of specialists’ training and graduation. This article sets out a method for evaluating the results of the educational management using the probability multiplication theorem for dependent events. The study shows that the results of the educational process can - and should - be managed if the results of training and graduation are periodically evaluated. At the same time, the evaluation results are of great value to the university and improve the educational management. They show the scale of the specialists’ training and graduation in relation to their training task and create a data base for subjects enabling appropriate managerial decisions aimed at maximizing approaching the results of the specialists’ graduation to their training task. It is of practical and scientific importance for the permanent staff of vocational educational institutions when developing managerial decisions for qualified specialists’ training, as well as for graduate students and researchers involved in the study of the effectiveness of educational management.

The results of a survey aimed at identifying common and special features in the career attitudes of young men and women studying at the university of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and preparing to become police officers are discussed. The authors come to a number of conclusions that are of value for the organization of the educational process in educational institutions that train future police officers.
