The great existing of human resources should be changed to become useful assets for development. For a variety of expertise, skills and opportunities should be focused on human resources, according to their biological and spiritual abilities. The careful and prudent action must be taken in human resources to become productive and beneficial assets in development. Thus the choices of the company’s development strategy are directed to the achievement of problem coping in specific areas. Therefore, PT. Jasa Marga (Persero) Branch of Surabaya-Gempol has a special department in charge to develop, train, manage and optimize Human Resources of their employees. Based on description above, then the formulation of the problem is “How far the effect of competency-based training that consists of knowledge, skills, ability to employees’ work quality of PT. Jasa Marga (Persero) Branch of Surabaya-Gempol”. Based on formulation of the problem and the hypothesis which stated, then after conducting the analysis and hypothesis testing, the results are obtained: The value of Adjusted R Square is 0.891 which showed that 89.10% of the change in Y value is affected by the three independent variables, while the remaining of 10.90% are affected by other things outside of the three independent variables under this study. The study aims to determine Development Strategy the potency of the Tunda Island as a tourist attraction in the Serang Regency, Banten Province. How the development of appropriate strategy to overcome obstacles in the development of Tunda Island Coast region as a Marine Tourism attraction in Serang Regency, Banten Province. This study was conducted to determine the Tunda Island as a marine tourism destination Serang Regency were reviewed by using SWOT analysis. This study uses quialitative research methods with data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results of the research carried out that Pulau Tunda as a marine tourism attraction in Serang Regency has the power in the form of underwater natural potential that is different from other islands in Serang Regency, besides Tunda Island has a considerable opportunity for increasing tourism needs and locations that tend to strategic. However, Pulau Tunda has weaknesses in the quality of human resources as well as low tourism support facilities and garbage that has not been managed properly. Meanwhile the threat faced by Tunda Island is currently the operation of sand miners and the lack of attention from the local government.   Keywords: Development Strategy, Tunda Island, Marine Tourism

The purposes of this research are to find out a) the strategies in human resources development to improve the quality of Postgraduate lecturers at IAIN Curup, (b) supporting factors, and  (c) the obstacles of human rights development. Using qualitative research method, the data were collected through interviews and documentary study. The research results showed that the strategies used for developing human resources or improving the quality of postgraduate lecturers include: (1) organizing the research methodology training; (2) holding the scientific journal writing training; (3) holding book writing/teaching materials training; and (4) involving lecturers into National and International Seminars. Supporting factors for human resource development are (a) high commitmentof  IAIN Curup Postgraduate management, (b) organization and socialization activities for professors acceleration programs, and (c) conducting coaching clinic activities for reputable international publications, in the form of programs to publish research results in reputable international scientific journals. Meanwhile, the obstacles are inadequate infrastructure and limited funds because there are still few students and tuition fee is still in the third category in the Ministry of Religion's General Cost Standards (SBU). The funds have not been fully handed over to the Postgraduate, because it is still centralized at the Institute, if the Postgraduate organize an activity, it must be approved by the Institute before it run.

<p><em>Tax is very useful for the development of a county. This study aimed to determine the Effect of Sanctions, Tax Awareness and Quality of Taxpayer Services on Property Tax Compliance, the case studies Kab. Kerinci. The number of samples determined was 128 respondents. The independent variables were sanctions, tax awareness and service quality of taxpayers and the dependent variable was Property tax compliance. The analysis method used multiple regression analysis, including determination coefficient and hypothesis testing. The result analysis shows that Sanctions variable affects the taxpayer compliance by 0.421 (42.1%), Tax Awareness affects the taxpayer Compliance by 0.195 (19.0%), and the Quality of Taxpayer Services has an influence magnitude of 0.250 (25.0 %).</em></p><p> </p><p>Pajak sangat berguna bagi pembangunan suatu daerah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Sanksi, Kesadaran Perpajakan dan Kualitas Pelayanan Wajib Pajak Terhadap Kepatuhan Wajib Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan khususnya pada daerah Kab. Kerinci. Jumlah sampel yang ditetapkan sebanyak 128 responden. Sebagai variabel independen, yaitu sanksi, kesadaran perpajakan dan kualitas pelayanan wajib pajak. Selanjutnya, variabel dependennya adalah kepatuhan Wajib Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regeresi linier berganda meliputi, koefisien determinasi dan pengujian hipotesis. Dari hasil analisis dapat diketahui bahwa variabel Sanksi mempengaruhi Kepatuhan Wajib Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan sebesar 0,421 (42.1%), Kesadaran Perpajakan mempengaruhi Kepatuhan Wajib Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan sebesar 0,195 (19.0%), dan Kualitas Pelayanan Wajib Pajak memiliki besaran pengaruh sebesar 0,250 (25.0%).</p>

Human resources are an important factor in globalization to face competition among organizations. Leadership style can be defined as an individual ability to be able to organize, direct, motivate employees to be able to help run an organization. The quality of a leader can be recognized if he can influence, direct and improve employee performance in carrying out all assigned tasks. Rewards will usually be given to employees who have contributed to advancing the company in accordance with the standards set by management. The sample used in this research is 34 employees who have become Civil Servants at the DPRD Office of Seluma Regency. Data collection using a questionnaire and the method of analysis used is multiple regression. Before the regression test was carried out, the validity and readability test would be carried out on the data used in the study. From the hypothesis testing, it is found that the leadership style variable (X1) and the reward variable (X2) have a partially significant relationship to employee performance (Y). The amount of the determinant coefficient is 0.590, which means that the independent variables X1 and X2 will be able to influence the dependent variable Y by 59% while the remaining 41% is influenced by other variables outside of this study. While simultaneously the variables X1 and X2 have a simultaneous effect on variable Y

Nowadays the Indonesian Navy is considered to have succeeded in strengthening its role in carrying out the development of a world-class marine defense force and has also received recognition from various countries in the world. However, there are still many problems regarding improving the performance of human resources in the Navy organization. This study aims to determine the strategy of the Navy Leaders in improving the quality of competent human resources in their fields. Furthermore, the research objectives can be detailed again and are more operational in nature, namely a). Formulating a strategy for the leader of the Navy to solve the problem of inequality in the number of personnel with existing positions, especially in the lieutenant colonel and colonel strata until 2024 and b). Determining the strategy of the leader of the Navy in solving problems has not created a synergy between the functions of education, use, and maintenance so that it hinders the development of personnel. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach based on direct observation analysis, expert interviews, and literature study. The qualitative approach assumes that human resources are active resources, therefore the qualitative approach aims to understand the object and make explorations. The strategy results obtained are the implementation of competency-based personnel development policies, empowerment of the Navy Personnel Assessment center, carrying out "Superior Job Performer" activities, conducting Competency Based Interview (CBI) training and developing "Integrated Personnel Information System", and implementing the second policy careers for personnel who are not elected to certain positions. Furthermore, synergize between the functions of education, use, and maintenance of personnel for continuous personnel development.

<p>Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana profil industri kecil carica di Kabupaten Wonosobo serta untuk mengetahui strategi pengembangan apa yang bisa digunakan. Variabel yang diteliti adalah profil industri yang meliputi sumber daya manusia, permodalan, teknologi, dan pemasaran. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif dan analisis SWOT. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profil industri kecil carica di Kabupaten Wonosobo pada tahun 2014 ada 15 unit usaha. Ada beberapa prioritas strategi pengembangan yaang dilakukaan yaitu strategi SO dengan meningkatkan kualitas SDM, memanfaatkan tenaga kerja dari daerah sekitar, dan mengoptimalkan lokasi industri yang strategis. Strategi WO menyiapkan stok produk carica, mengoptimalkan produk carica, dan mengoptimalkan pelatihan dari dinas terkait. Strategi ST dengan meningkatkan kualitas ciri khas produk carica,peranan pemerintah dalam hal mengantisipasi bencana longsor di Dieng, dan melakukan inovasi produk carica. Strategi WT dengan meningkatkan kemampuan manajerial pengusaha, menaikkan harga jual produk carica, dan pada musim kemarau diganti dengan produk makanan komoditas Kabupaten Wonosobo. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, strategi yang diterapkan dalam kondisi ini adalah mendukung kebijakan yang agresif, yaitu industri kecil carica di Kabupaten Wonosobo dapat bersaing dengan produk olahan makanan jenis lainnya dari berbagai daerah dengan cara menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitas produk carica yang dihasilkan.</p><p>The purpose of this study to find out the profiles of carica industries in Wonosobo regency and to determine what is the development strategy can be used. The variables in this research belongs to human resources, capital, technology, and marketing. Data analysis method used is descriptive analysis method and SWOT analysis. Based on the results of this study showed that small industrial profiles carica in Wonosobo regency in 2014 there were 15 business units. There are several priority development strategies did, those are SO strategy to improve the quality of human resources to improve product quality of carica, utilizing the labor of the surrounding area to increase carica industry, and optimize strategic industrial location. WO strategy to prepare the inventory in the form of stock products carica, carica optimize product to meet consumer demand, and optimize the training of relevant agencies. ST strategies to improve the quality and characteristics of products carica, requires the role of government in terms of anticipating landslides in Dieng, and carica product innovation to improve consumer tastes. WT strategy to improve the managerial capacity of employers, raise the price of products carica, and in the dry season production carica replaced with other processed food products act. Based on the research results can be concluded, the strategy adopted in this condition is to support an aggressive policy.</p>

This aims of the study are finding the development strategy in the tourist area of the Dlundung waterfall to be excellent destination in Mojokerto. This is a descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data will be analyzed by SWOT method. Strategies have been found is the increased promotion of the natural beauty of waterfalls and campgrounds, additional facilities of outbound and painball, repair and improvement of facilities, road improvements, additional services and hours of operation of public transport, improving the quality of human resources of tourism, Perhutani reports the condition of the campground to Disparta about prioritized apparatus intensively, Perhutani and Disparta give an opportunity for investors to benefit location of the campsite, ask for the role of local communities in improving the security of tourism, Perhutani maintains the cleanliness and comfort of the facilities at tourist sites, increasing community empowerment in troubleshooting facilities and accessibility. Abstract:Parents, communities and governments put great attention to education of children, knowing that the quality of early childhood is a reflection of the quality of the nation in the future. So it can be said that the condition of children in Indonesia is now a picture of human resources in the future. In Islam, a child has a vertical relationship with God as creator, and horizontal relationships with parents and communities are responsible for educating him to be a religious man. Although the incidence of human nature state that a child (baby) is holy, but he has the potential to be good through the cultivation of religious values early and proper education. When a coaching is wrong, it causes people to be evil and bad. This could be due to either foster care, regardless of the value of education and religious norms. Tourism in the MICE sector is one of the fields that increases the income of the tourism sector. Business visitor/MICE expenditure in Thailand 3.5 times leisure visitor. This study aims to determine the quality and strategy of human resource development for the MICE Event Organizer in South Sulawesi. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. There were four informants in the study. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques, namely data classified and analyzed with theories related to the object of research. The results of the research are the quality of MICE Human Resources at the Event Organizer in South Sulawesi Selatan is quite good and the MICE Event Organize HR Development Strategy in South Sulawesi, namely 3 main strategies, namely development through internships and guidance, development through education and training and career development.

Human development is one of the indicators of the success of economic growth. The good quality of human resources goes hand in hand with economic growth, this is because resources as part of the factor of production are the most valuable assets in the economic activities of a country. This study aims to determine and analyze the causality of economic growth towards the quality of human resources. The method used in this study was using the Granger Causality method. Granger Causality Approach is used to measure the strength of the relationship between two or more variables, or it can also be used as a tool to see the direction of the relationship between independent variables and the dependent variable. The variable Human Development Index (HDI) as the dependent variable and per capita income variable as the independent variable. From this study it was concluded that the granger causality test on the proposed research model states that there is no causality relationship between two independent variables and the dependent variable, but significantly the Indonesian economic growth variable has a one-way relationship with the human development index (HDI).Human development is one of the indicators of the success of economic growth.
