Cognitive and psychomotor are two aspects that play an important role in children’s development, especially at the preschool age. This study aims to create and test products in the form of learning methods with song and movement to improve children's cognitive and psychomotor aspects. This research is a research and development using 4D theory from Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel. There are four phases in this research, namely the define phase, product design, product development, and dissemination. Data analysis used in this study was a qualitative and quantitative approach using instruments in the form of questionnaires, product validation sheets, and techniques: (1) qualitative data with content analysis techniques and (2) quantitative data analyzed statistically with the help of SPSS. The results showed that this learning method was proven to have a level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness above the standard to improve children’s cognitive and psychomotor aspects

This study concerns on improving students’ achievement in writing procedure texts through word webbing technique. The research was conducted by using Classroom Action Research (CAR). The population was the 2012-2013 nine grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Batang Kuis. The number of students was 36, consisting of 21 females and 15 males. The procedure of the research was administrated into two cycles where each cycle consisted of three meetings. Each meeting included four steps namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. There were two kinds of data collected during the study, qualitative and quantitative data. The instrument for collecting the quantitative data was the writing of procedure texts test while the qualitative data were gathered by using interview, diary notes and observation sheet. Based on the data analysis, the mean of students’ score in Test I was 53,47, for the Test II was 63,05, and for the Test III was 75 The qualitative data showed that the students were interested in the applying of Word webbing Technique. The conclusion is that Word Webbing Technique in writing Procedure Texts improves the students’ achievement in writing procedure texts. [Title: The Application of Mind Mapping Method to Improve Writing Skill in Writting English Descriptive Text of Students at Grades X AP-1 SMK Widya Mandala Badung] The aim of this paper is to determine students’ writing skill in doing descriptive. The research was conducted in the form of classroom action research, and mind mapping as learning method applied for improving students’writing skill. The application of this method in teaching and learning process arre expected to solve the problem that are faced by students at grade X AP1 SMK Widya Mandala. Constructivism theory were used to determine the learning model , in this case it has the same direction with mind mapping method. The theory of grammar and writing theory were used as a reference in making the assessment rubric. Methods of data collection and data analysis techniques performed quantitatively and qualitatively. Data were collected through a method of testing, observatiaon and questionnaires. The quantitative data collected through test and questionnaires, while the qualitative through observation. The result of the data analysis were presented in tables and charts with the description. The increased writing skill of the students can be seen from the average class grade, that is it is 63,7 in the pre-test, in the first cycle it became 73,9 and in the second cycle it became 78,3. The increased writing skill of the students is also proved by the increased percentage of grade achieved by the students that is more than 70. In the pre-test, the percentage of grade achieved was 33,33%, in the first cycle it became 59,26% and in the second cycle it became 100%.

This research aims at improving students’ ability to write exposition text through learning cycle model to the third-semester students of Indonesian Language Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Educational Sciences, Pakuan University. The method used for this research is action research with qualitative and quantitative approach. Qualitative data are taken from data analysis and analysis of learning process from three cycles. Meanwhile, quantitative data are taken from the comparison of students' score from the first to the third cycle. The implementation of learning cycle that consists of engagement, exploration, explanation elaboration and evaluation in writing exposition activity done in  every cycle successfully improves students’ ability to write exposition text. It is shown on the average score which increases from 52.38 to 80.13. This improvement comes along the improvement of students’ activity in expressing their ideas throughout learning cycle. As a result, learning cycle can improve students’ ability to write exposition text.

This research is underpinned by the lack of blame for students ' science process skills that can result in no achievement of learning objectives. The proper application of learning models is one of the alternatives to addressing the problem. One of the learning models that can be applied is the learning model predict observe explain (POE). This research aims to determine the implementation of the learning model predict observe explain and its influence on the skills of the students ' science process on electrolyte and nonelectrolytic solution material in grade X MIA SMAN 9 Jambi City. The approach used in this research is a mix method by using both qualitative data and quantitative data. Sampling techniques are performed with purposive sampling. The instrument used is an observation sheet for the implementation of the model by both teachers and students and the observation sheet of Students ' science process skills. Qualitative data analysis techniques using Miles and Huberman and quantitative data analysis techniques using the correlation test of product moment and test-T. The management of the POE model by the teacher has increased each meeting, the percentage of the implementation of POE models by students is 74.56% with good categorize, and the percentage of students ' science process skills is 73.33% categorized. The implementation relationship of POE model by students with the skills of students ' science process categorized very strongly with the value of Rxy 0.849. The signification test was obtained Thitung > this (9,013 > 2,036) with DK 32 and α = 0.05 so that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Based on the results of the research can be concluded that the implementation of POE learning model on electrolyte and nonelectrolytic solution material affects the students ' science process skills in X MIA class SMAN 9 Jambi City.

This study aims to make students have an independent character, discipline and responsibility in the digital era through the Monthly Bazaar. The method used in this research was Mixed Method with a sequential exploratory strategy. The sequential exploratory strategy involves collecting and analyzing quantitative data in the second stage based on the results of the first stage. Weights / priorities are more likely to be in the first stage, and the mixing process between these two methods occurs when the researcher makes a connection between qualitative data analysis and quantitative data collection. The results of the study were obtained from qualitative data analysis in the first stage and quantitative data in the second stage. The results of the first stage were obtained from educators' observations of students after completing the monthly bazaar. The results of the second stage are obtained through calculations using a Likert scale and it is obtained the data of 43.75% (ever) if it is categorized in interpretation of scores based on intervals. This data was obtained before the implementation of the monthly bazaar. After implementing the monthly bazaar for two times, the data is 72.75% (often). From the two stages, the relevant results obtained between qualitative and quantitative data analysis showed that there was an independent character, discipline and responsibility embedded in students after the implementation of the monthly bazaar activities.

This research is a classroom action research which aims to find out the planning, process, and results of beach ball learning methods in students' German speaking skills. The research data consists of two types, namely: qualitative data and quantitative data. Qualitative data is obtained through observation, and quantitative data is obtained through the first cycle and second cycle speaking skills tests. Data were analyzed using percentage techniques. The results showed that speaking skills with the percentage of grades obtained by students in the first cycle reached 60.66%, and the second cycle reached 78.25%. These results indicate that the application of the beach ball learning method increases in students' German speaking skills

Penelitian tindakan ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan proses dan hasil dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan TK PAUD Anak Bangsa Kota Palembang Provinsi Sumatera Selatan melalui penerapan media bulletin board. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan dengan model Kemmis dan Taggart, yang meliputi perencanaan, tindakan dan observasi, refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah TK PAUD Anak Bangsa yang berjumlah 16 orang anak. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus yang terdiri dari delapan pertemuan pada setiap siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data kualitatif dan analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan membaca permulaan anak mengalami peningkatan setelah diterapkan media bulletin board. Skor kemampuan membaca permulaan anak pada pra siklus sebesar 44, siklus I sebesar 62, dan siklus II sebesar 65,125. Hasil tersebut memberikan implisasi bahwa kemampuan membaca permulaan dapat ditingkatkan melalui penerapan media bulletin board.Research action aims to describe the process and results in improving the ability to read the beginning of TK PAUD Anak Bangsa of Palembang City South Sumatera Province through the application of Media bulletin board. The research methods used are research actions with the Kemmis and Taggart models, which include planning, action and observation, reflection. The subject of this research is TK PAUD Anak Bangsa, a total of 16 children. Research is conducted in two cycles consisting of eight meetings on each cycle. Data collection techniques are conducted through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques in this study are qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. The results showed that the ability to read children's beginnings improved after the media bulletin board was applied. Scores of children's start reading on the pre-cycle of 44, cycle I by 62, and cycle II by 65.125. The results gave implisation that the ability to read the start can be increased through the application of Media bulletin board.

The study aims at improving students’ achievement in reading comprehension applying Metacognition Method by conducting classroom action research. The population of this research twelfth grade students of SMP Negeri 41 Medan. The number of the students was 33 students. There were two kinds of data collected during the study, qualitative and quantitative data. The instrument for collecting the quantitative data was objective test of reading comprehension, while the instruments for qualitative data were gathered through interview, diary notes, and observation sheet. The qualitative showed that the students were interested in Metacognition Method. Based on the data analysis, the mean of the students score for orientation test was 52, 12 and for test in cycle I was 63, 63 and for test in cycle II was 76, 51. The conclusion is that Metacognition Method can improve the students’ achievement in reading comprehension. Keywords : Reading, Comprehension, Metacognition Method

Abstract: This study aimed to develop the exercise model of jump shoot for members ofbasketball extracurricular of SMA Negeri 1 Kauman, Tulungagung regency. This isexpected that the members are able to understand and master jump shoot technique welland increase their skill. Data analysis techniques used in this research is qualitativeanalysis techniques (in the form of a sentence) and quantitative (in the form of apercentage). Qualitative data was used to analyze the data collected from the advice andreview experts basketball game, a game of basketball coaching, media expert. Data kualitatif digunakan untuk menganalisis hasilpengumpulan data dari saran dan tinjauan para ahli permainan bolabasket, ahlikepelatihan permainan bolabasket, ahli media. Sedangkan analisis data kuantitatifberupa teknik analisis deskriptif persentase untuk menyajikan hasil tinjauan ahlipermainan bolabasket, ahli kepelatihan permainan bolabasket, ahli media, uji cobakelompok kecil dan uji coba kelompok besar.Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, model latihan, jump shoot.

This study aims to describe the process and learning outcomes through the use of song creation Minangkabau in improving the ability to speak the child's mother. This research is conducted in TK Nurul Hidayah., Bukittinggi- West Sumatra in January until February 2017. The subjects were students group B were 17 children. This study uses research methods Action research, from comprising: a) planning, b) actions and observations, c) reflection. Conducted over 16 sessions that are divided into two cycles. Data was collected through tests, observations, interviews and documentation study. Data analysis techniques used in this research is the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data. Quantitative data analysis used to determine the percentage of children's ability to speak their mother tongue after the action. the results showed an increase in children after learning to use the song Minangkabau creations. pre-actions are performed to determine the percentage of children's mother tonge by 47, 43%, increased to 68.38% after the cycle for the First, and increased to 87, 50% after the second cycle. The ability to speak their mother tongue can be developed through the use of song creation Minangkabau, where the song creations Minangkabau can attract children to use their imagination so that he is able to express ideas. Minangkabau creations song is a fun activity for young children.
