A person's personality develops due to the influence of innate personality and the environment, in Javanese local languages affect the development of personality and ethics in behavior. The purpose of this paper is to describe the role of regional languages in the development of personality and behavior of Javanese tribal people. The research method used is a case study, by utilizing data obtained through qualitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that good personality traits can be formed through the use of good regional languages. The benefits of research are as the basis of a corroborating theory for character education through Javanese language.

This study is carried out in Delanggu, Klaten, that has high productivity of rice but undergoing a decrease in the role of the sector of agriculture. The goal of this study is to observe young people departicipation in the sector od agriculture and fators that influence it. The method used is survey method. The population is all of the young people in Delanggu, 1.419 peoples. The sampling uses stratified proporsional quota sampling where respondents are divided into three groups of age, 15-19 years old, 20-24 years old, and 25-29 years old. Every sampling in eah group is taken 5% proportionally, with its homogenates consideration, while the characteristic, which has determined in order to fulfil the number of determined quota in each age group. Collected data is presented in the form of frequency and cross table. Qualitative data analysis uses logical thought, deducyive-inductive, analogy ang comparison, whereas analyzing frequency and cross table uses quantitative data analysis. The use of both analysis is adjusted to the data and goal of the study.

This research is located in Pakraman Karang Sari, Village Office Suana, Nusa Penida in tourist attraction Pura Goa Giri Putri which aims to determine the function of local communities in the management of the attraction in the development and planning as a community-based tourism destination.         Data collection techniques in this study, by observation, in-depth interviews with 6 informant, and documentation study by taking a picture in the attractions of Goa Giri Putri. The data have been analyzed with descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques are broadly communicating, and systematic explanation of the data obtained in the field with the aim of obtaining a clear picture and objektif.  The result of this research is the role of local communities in the management of a tourist attraction Pura Goa Giri Putri is as pengemong / pengempon who have the responsibility to maintain and grow attractions Goa Giri Putri directly or indirectly such as participating maintain cleanliness, keeping tourist attraction Goa Giri Putri, keeping pemedek or tourists who visit and support the implementation of the current pujawali ceremony  / ceremony at Pura Goa Giri Putri with managers and other stakeholders.   Keywords: Participation, Local Communities, Management, Tourist Attraction, Community Based Tourism

The purpose of research is to find out how the activity of early childhood in improving natural intelligence through the introduction of animals in Pelita Kindergarten Bandung and to find out how much improvement of natural intelligence through the introduction of animals. The research problem is how the introduction of animals made to the natural intelligence of early childhood in Pelita Kindergarten Bandung. The research method used is Classroom Action Research method. Subjects in this study were all children early childhood amounting to 26 children. The instruments used are observation guidelines, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used quantitative descriptive using percentage and qualitative. Data analysis uses data reduction, data model, and conclusion. The results showed that in cycle I, the average value obtained by children Developing Very Good of 17%. While in cycle II, the average result of children Developing Very Good increased to 65%. This shows that by using the introduction of animals, the early child's natural intelligence in Pelita Kindergarten Bandung increased by 48%.

This study uses a case study research method with a qualitative study design. The aims of the study were to find out the domains of Acehnese language shifts in Langsa and the reasons why Acehnese teenagers are shifting their language. Five districts in Langsa, one of the cities in Aceh, Indonesia, became the research location. They were Langsa Kota, Langsa Barat, Langsa Timur, Langsa Baroe and Langsa Lama. The respondents were Acehnese young adults within the age range of 18 to 21 years old. There were 10 respondents from each district, making a total of 50 respondents. The instruments used in this study were observations, a questionnaire, and interviews. Simple statistics were used to analyse the questionnaire, meanwhile the data analysis for the observations and interviews followed an interactive model from Miles and Huberman, namely: data reduction, data display, verification of data, and conclusions. The results showed that the domains of education (30 respondents) and of friendship (27 respondents had the largest number of shifters. Meanwhile, the family domain had the least shifts, so it was concluded that shifts rarely occurred in this domain. Finally, there are three fundamental factors that influenced the shift: environment, habitual usage, and choice of language.

The background of this research stems from the interest of researchers about the importance of the role of principal leadership in strengthening character education. This study aims to determine the type, role, and implementation of the character education strengthening program at SMAN 1 Yogyakarta. This research is a qualitative research taking place at SMAN 1 Yogyakarta. Methods of data collection are done by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques by transcript, coding, comparing and contrasting. Checking the validity of the data by means of triangulation of sources, triangulation of techniques, and triangulation of time. The results showed that: (1) the type of leadership applied by the principal is a type of democratic leadership where the principal always provides encouragement, motivation and innovation for teachers, employees and students to continue to excel and continue working. (2) The implementation of the character education strengthening program using the habituation and culture methods of 5S (Greetings, Smiles, Greetings, Polite, and Polite) character education strengthening programs are supported by school members so that the program has been implemented optimally. (3) the principal acts as an educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator and as a motivator.

This study aims to find the implementation of organizational culture, in this case the Ministry of Religion of the Regency of Buleleng based on Hindu values. The research method used was qualitative with the location of the Office of the Ministry of Religion in Buleleng Regency. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and document studies. Data analysis techniques include (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation, and (4) conclusion drawing or verification. The implementation of organizational culture in the Office of the Ministry of Religion of Buleleng Regency especially in the Head of the Hindu Religion Affairs is inseparable from the role of the socialization of socio-cultural values themselves, both government leaders, traditional leaders, or family leaders. Theoretically, the process of institutionalizing values to society goes through several stages, including the stages known, understood, obeyed, and valued.

Budaya merupakan suatu proses yang dinamis serta memiliki nilai-nilai dan norma-norma kehidupan yang berlaku dalam tata cara pergaulan masyarakat tertentu. Dari budaya tersebut maka terciptalah ragam kebiasaan masyarakat, diantaranya bahasa daerah, kesenian tari, musik, dan upacara adat, semua ini adalah hasil dari bagian budaya. Penelitian ini berjudul “ Integritas kearifan lokal budaya masyarakat Aceh dalam tradisi peusijuek . Peusijuek mengandung nilai-nilai agama yang sangat filosofis sehingga peusijuek dianggap sangat sakral dan mesti dilakukan pada kegiatan-kegiatan yang diyakini perlu adanya peusijuek. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tradisi peusijuek dalam budaya masyarakat Aceh Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sejarah sebagai metode penelitian yang umum digunakan untuk hal-hal sejarah yaitu berupa studi kepustakaan dan pengalaman empiris. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan data sekunder dan teknik observasi partisipan. Teknik analisis data adalah verifikasi dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah tradisi Peusijuek merupakan salah satu tradisi adat masyarakat Aceh yang telah berasimilasi dengan ajaran Islam, sehingga masih dipertahankan sampai saat ini. Di antara unsur yang telah diubah adalah mantra-mantra yang digunakan dalam prosesi peusijuek telah diganti dengan doa-doa yang berbahasa Arab. Dalam pelaksanaan peusijuk ini ada tiga hal yang paling penting yaitu, perangkat alat serta bahan peusijuek, gerakan atau langkah-langkah dan do’a.Culture is a dynamic process and has the values and norms of life that apply in certain social relations procedures. From this culture, a variety of community habits are created, including regional languages, dance, music, and traditional ceremonies, all of these are the result of the cultural part. This research is titled The integrity of the local wisdom of the culture of Aceh people in the tradition of Peusijuek. Peusijuek contains very philosophical religious values so that the peusijuek is considered very sacred and must be carried out in activities that are believed to peusijuek. The purpose of this study was to find out the tradition of peusijuek in the culture of West Aceh society. This study uses historical methods as a research method that is commonly used for historical matters in literature studies and empirical experience. The technique of collecting data uses secondary data and participant observation techniques. Data analysis techniques are verification and conclusion. The results of this study are that the Peusijuek tradition is one of the traditional traditions of the Aceh people who have been assimilated with Islamic teachings, so that it is still maintained today. Among the elements that have been changed are the mantras used in the peusijuek procession have been replaced with Arabic-language prayers. In the implementation of this peusijuk there are three most important things, namely, the device and the material for peusijuek, movements or steps and prayers.

Baduy  is a tribe that applies isolation from the outside world. They are not familiar with school, because school as formal education is opposed to their lifestyle. This study aims to explain the background and development of Baduy people whom are neglected, marginalized, and overlooked despite they live in Java island. The research method used is descriptive, case study type. The case is about why the Baduy tribe is neglected, marginalized, and overlooked. The Baduy tribe lives in Kanekes village, 39 km from Rangkasbitung city, 120 km from Jakarta. Data collecting uses interview and observation from January 2012 to June 2013. Data analysis uses qualitative data analysis technique. The results show five phenomena in the origin and development of the people which lead them to be neglected, marginalized, and overlooked. This study leads to conclusion that Baduy people need humanitarian assistance; and Paulo Freire’s conscience is one of the alternatives in providing humanitarian assistance to them.

This study aimed at determining the implementation of Islamic values in the recruitment process (Case Study at University of Muhammadiyah Malang-UMM). This research applied qualitative method through a phenomenological approach. The informants of this study were (1) University Leaders; (2) Employees. Further, the data collected were analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques, namely: Data Reduction, Data Presentation, and Conclusion Drawing. The results of this study indicated that the recruitment process at UMM: 1) in accordance with Islamic values sourced from the Qur'an and Hadith; 2) UMM leaders have accomplished the mandate that was showed in selecting employees and establishing the law fairly according to Q.S. An Nisa [4]: 58 and Q.S. Al Maidah [5]: 8. UMM Leaders appoint the most worthy and appropriate employees as in Q.S. An Nisaa [4]: 59; 4) UMM leaders choose employees of the highest quality selectively in accordance with the words of the Prophet Muhammad in HR. Baihaqi; 5) UMM Leaders choose capable and trustworthy employees according to Q.S. Al Anfaal [8]: 27.
