 The still low understanding of the concept of students in vocational schools in learning physics, due to the lack of innovative learning, so it needs innovation such as a reciprocal teaching model that implements four independent understanding strategies, namely summarizing the material, compiling questions, explaining, and predicting. The purpose of this research was to determine the improve in understanding of students' concepts in the class applying the reciprocal teaching model with conventional classes at Vocational High School (SMK) Abdurrab Pekanbaru. The population in this research were 130 students spread over five classes and samples were taken by simple random sampling, so that 2 classes of samples were obtained with 52 students. The research instrument was in the form of concept comprehension test questions consisting of pretest and posttest. The Test  in the form of multiple choice reasoned with 4 choices totaling 15 items. The instruments are arranged according to the category of understanding the concepts of translation, interpretation, and extrapolation. Data collection techniques in the form of scores on the concept understanding results obtained from the pretest and posttest scores. The data is processed by descriptive analysis. The results showed that students of class X SMK Abdurrab Pekanbaru in optical material learning, had a difference in increased understanding of concepts. The average score of concept understanding after the implementation of learning in the experimental class was 82.44 with a high category, while the control class was 59.68 with a low category. To that end, the implementation of the reciprocal teaching learning model, is able to better enhance the understanding of physics concepts in optics learning for students in class X SMK Abdurab Pekanbaru.

AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching. Data motivasi belajar dikumpulkan melalui angket dan data pemahaman konsep matematika dikumpulkan melalui tes.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan statistik infrensial. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji independent samplet T-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah diterapkan model reciprocal teaching motivasi belajar siswa yang sebelumnya 35% berada pada kategori tinggi kemudian meningkat menjadi 95%, dapat pula dilihat peningkatannya dari rata-rata motivasi belajar awal siswa yaitu 68,35 kemudian meningkat menjadi 84,00. Pemahaman konsep matematika siswa juga meningkat setelah diterapkannya model reciprocal teaching yang sebelumnya 15% berada pada kategori tinggi meningkat menjadi 55%, dengan peningkatan rata-rata pemahaman konsep awal yaitu 46,50 meningkat menjadi 80,05. Dengan demikian penerapan model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching efektif terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar dan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa.AbstractThe aims of this study were to improve the students' learning motivation and understanding mathematical concept by applying reciprocal teaching learning model. Data of learning motivation was collected through questionnaire and data of understanding mathematical concept was collected through tests. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive and infrential statistics. Hypothesis testing used was Independent Samplet Test. The findings showed that after the implementation of reciprocal teaching model, the students' motivation in learning improve from 35% to 95%. It could also be seen that the average of the students' initial learning motivation increased from 68.35 to 84.00. The understanding of the students' mathematical concept also improve after the implementation of reciprocal teaching model which previously was 15% in the high category increased to 55%, with an increase in the average of initial concept understanding from 46.50 to 80.05.  Thus, the application of reciprocal teaching learning model is effective to improve the students' learning motivation and understanding mathematical concept.

The low score of students learning outcome on Kingdom  Animalia concept indicate that there must an improvement of students retention. The aim of this study is to know the effect of reciprocal teaching learning model that integrated with mind map and persistence on students retention. The method that used in this research is quasi experiment with 2 x 2 factorial design. The instruments that used in this research are learning outcome test and persistence questionnaire. The subject of this study is  students of X IPA 1 and 2 from SMAN 49 Jakarta totalling 72 students. Samples were taken using simple random sampling. Analysis of data used two way anova. The result showed that : 1) There is effect of reciprocal teaching learning model integrated mind map on students retention with p< 0,05, p = 0,03. 2). There is effect of persistence on students retention with p< 0,05, p = 0,00. 3) There is interaction between reciprocal teaching learning model integrated mind map and persistence on students retention with p< 0,05, p = 0,031.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan model pembelajaran langsung. Berdasarkan analisis deskriptif hasil posttest yang diberikan pada kelas eksperimen 1 dan kelas eksperimen 2, diperoleh skor rata-rata kelas eksperimen 1 sebesar 78.60 dan skor rata-rata kelas eksperimen 2 sebesar 70,57. Kriteria ketuntasan hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen 1 lebih banyak dengan persentase sebesar 64,29% dengan standar deviasi (SD) yaitu 7,33 sedangkan kelas eksperimen 2 dengan persentase sebesar 39,29% dengan nilai standar deviasi (SD) 8,95. Hasil penelitian ini diuji dengan menggunakan uji-t. Kriteria pengujian hipotesis yang digunakan yaitu terima H0 jika –ttabel  < thitung < +ttabel, Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh thitung  = 3,75, ttabel = 2,014 maka -2,014 < 3,75 > +2,014 sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis ditarik kesimpulan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (kelas eksperimen 1)  dan siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran langsung (kelas eksperimen 2).Kata Kunci: Berbasis Proyek, Pembelajaran Langsung, Hasil Belajar  ABSTRACTThis research is a quasi-experimental that aims to compare the learning outcomes of students who were taught by  project-based learning model and direct learning model. Based on the descriptive analysis the results of post test is given for the first experimental class  and the second class  experiments, obtained an average score of 78,60 for the first experimental class  and the average score of the second experimental class  at 70,57. Completeness criteria learning outcomes in the first experimental class with a percentage of 64,29% with standar deviasi (SD) is 7,33, while the second experimental class  with a percentage =39,29% with standar deviasi (SD) 8,95. Results of this study were tested using t-test. From the calculation results obtained tcount  = 3,75, ttable = 2,014 so -2,014 < 3,75> +2,014 then H0 is rejected and H1 accepted. Thus, the conclusion there is a difference between the learning outcomes of students who were taught with project-based learning model (the first experimental class) and learners taught by direct learning model (the second experimental class).Keywords: Project-Based, Direct Teaching, Learning Outcomes

This study aims to determine the comparison between Reciprocal Teaching learning models and Bamboo Dancing to find out which learning models are effectively used. The difference between Reciprocal Teaching and Bamboo Dancing learning models lies in the way the teaching and learning process is delivered. Reciprocal Teaching Model prioritizes language style or speaking style of students in delivering the material presented, while the Bamboo Dancing learning model prioritizes the activeness of a student in channeling what he gets then they exchange ideas with other friends.

This research aims to figure out the effect of quantum teaching learning model with Tri Kaya Parisudha toward natural science learning outcomes. This research was an experimental research design with non-equivalent post-test only control group.. The research populations were all fourth grades students of cluster III Kintamani academic years 2019/2020 with 127 students in total. Research sample was determined through simple random sampling with lottery; as a result, 22 fourth grades students of SDN Abuan became the experimental class and 20 fourth grades students of SDN Bayung Gede became the control group. Data collection used was natural science learning outcomes test. The data were analyzed through t-test. Based on the analysis, this research portrayed that there was an effect of quantum teaching learning model with Tri Kaya Parisudha toward natural science learning outcomes. The analysis result showed that t-score was 4.879 while t-table with 5% significance was 2.021. The average score of the group that got quantum teaching learning model with Tri Kaya Parisudha treatment was 20.27 with high category, and the average score of the group that did not get quantum teaching learning model with Tri Kaya Parisudha treatment was 13.85 with medium/normal category. It meant that the average score of the group that got quantum teaching learning model with Tri Kaya Parisudha treatment was higher than the average score of the group that did not get the same treatment.

Penalaran matematis merupakan salah satu aspek penting yang sangat dibutuhkan peserta didik dalam mempelajari matematika. Berbagai upaya telah dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis peserta didik, salah satunya dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran dan kemampuan penalaran matematis peserta didik melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching pada materi bangun datar segiempat di kelas VII. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 34 peserta didik kelas VII.5 yang berasal dari SMP Negeri 13 Palembang. Data dikum­pulkan menggunakan observasi dan tes. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah data hasil observasi kegiatan peserta didik pada saat diterapkan model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching dan data hasil tes untuk melihat kemampuan penalaran matematis peserta didik setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Reci­procal Teaching. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil pene­litian menun­jukkan bahwa (1) keaktifan peserta didik selama diterapkan model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching berada pada kategori “sangat aktif” dengan persentase rata-rata 88,71%; (2) kemampuan penalaran matematis peserta didik setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching berada pada kategori “cukup” dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 67,89.Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching, penalaran  matematis, pembelajaran matematika Applying of reciprocal teaching-learning model viewed from students’ mathematical reasoning on the quadrilateral matter AbstractThe mathematical reasoning was one of the important aspects that students need in learning mathematics. Various efforts have been made to improve students’ mathematical reasoning skills, one of which was the application of the Reciprocal Teaching learning model. This research was a quantitative descriptive research that aims to explain the process of learning implementation and student’s mathematical reasoning ability by using the Reciprocal Teaching learning model on the quadrilateral matter in class VII. The subjects of this research were 34 students of class VII.5 from SMP (Junior High School) Negeri 13 Palembang, South Sumatera, Indonesia. Data were collected using observations and tests. The data obtained in this research were the observation data of students activities when applied the Reciprocal Teaching learning model and the test results data to see students’ mathematical reasoning abilities after applying the Reciprocal Teaching learning model. The results of research showed that (1) student activity during applying the Reciprocal Teaching learning model was in the “very active” category with an average percentage of 88.71%; (2) students’ mathematical reasoning abilities after applying the Reciprocal Teaching learning model was in the “enough” category with an average score of 67.89.

The purpose of this study is to see the differences in the mean increase in student mathematics learning outcomes in the Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) model and reciprocal teaching (RT) model. The sample in this study were 25 students as the experimental class 1 and 23 students as the experimental class 2. This research was an experimental study with a nonequivalent control group design. The data analysis used was descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the mean pretest score of the experimental class 1 was 51.64 and the posttest result was 70.88 with the increase in student mathematics learning outcomes reaching 0.39. While the mean pretest score of experimental class 2 was 36.52 and the posttest result was 70.48 with the increase in student mathematics learning outcomes reaching 0.51. The variance of the increase in mathematics learning outcomes in the experimental class 1 was 0.02, and the experimental class 2 was 0.01. The results obtained indicate that the increase in mathematics learning outcomes through the reciprocal teaching learning model is higher than the increase in student mathematics learning outcomes using the AIR learning model.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw lebih baik daripada pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional di Kelas IX MTs Negeri 1 Kota Palu. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw lebih baik daripada pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu. Desain penelitian ini adalah pre-post test control design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX MTs Negeri 1 Kota Palu dengan teknik pengambilan sampel cluster random sampling. Nilai rata-rata siswa kelas eksperimen 47 dan standar deviasi 17,04 sedangkan nilai rata-rata siswa kelas kontrol 40 dan standar deviasi 13,40. Data yang diperoleh berdistribusi normal dan homogen, maka pengujian hipotesis menggunakan teknis statistik parametris yaitu uji t. Hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh bahwa nilai ????tabel = 1,67 dan ????hitung = 2,96 sehingga H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw lebih baik daripada pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional di kelas IX MTsN 1 Kota Palu. The hypothesis is that mathematics concept understanding students who learn by using jigsaw cooperative learning model better than students who learn by using conventional learning model. The type of research is a quasi experiment. Design of research is pre-post control design. The population of this research is all students of class IX  MTs Negeri 1 Kota Palu with samples taken by cluster random sampling technique. The average score of the experiment class students is 47 and standard deviation is 17.04 and the average score of the control class students is 40 and standard deviation is 13.40. The data is normal distribution and homogen, hypothesis test using t test. Results of hypothesis test obtained value ????table = 1.67 and ????count = 2.96 it means H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. This indicated that mathematics concept understanding students who learn by using jigsaw cooperative learning model have better than mathematics concept understanding students who learn by using conventional learning model in class IX MTsN 1 Kota Palu. This study aims to determine (1) the mathematical communication ability of students taught by the gallery walk type cooperative learning model is higher than the mathematical communication skills of students taught by conventional learning models (2) student responses through the application of the gallery walk type cooperative learning model to communication skills. mathematics students of SMP Negeri 8 Padangsidimpuan. The research method used is quasi-experimental. The population of this study were all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Padangsidimpuan. Sampling using simple random sampling. The sample is class VII-2 as the experimental class and class VII-1 as the control class. Data collection using a mathematical communication ability test sheet.The results showed (1) t_(count )= 3.56 and t_(table )= 1.67 or) t_(count ) > t_(table ) so that it can be concluded that students' mathematical communication skills are taught by cooperative learning model type gallery walk is higher than the mathematical communication ability of students who are taught by conventional learning models. (2) Based on the results of student responses, an average score of 3.55 was obtained so that it can be concluded that student responses through the application of the gallery walk type cooperative learning model to the mathematical communication skills of SMP Negeri 8 Padangsidimpuan students were very positive.

This research objective to determine the satisfaction, discipline, and motivation of employees of PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Bekasi, and also to determine satisfaction and discipline of influence on work motivation the employee of PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Bekasi. There are 90 employees of PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Bekasi as a sample in this study. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling techniques. Observation and questionnaire methods are used in collecting the data. The data analysis technique uses multiple regression analysis with the SPSS program. The results of the descriptive analysis show the good realization of job satisfaction (average score 3.63) and employee work discipline (average score 3.61) so that it has a positive impact on employee work motivation (average score 3.57). These results are supported by Bekasi Tirta Bhagasasi PDAM data in 2018 which obtained a level of realization of workforce satisfaction of 61.38% (sufficient category), the value of realization of employee work discipline at 5.80% (sufficient category), and the level of realization of labor motivation of 60.71% (sufficient category). t value calculated job satisfaction (b1) = 9,133 with a significance of 0,000 (<= 0.05) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that job satisfaction has a significant effect on the work motivation of PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Bekasi employees. T value is calculated work discipline (b2) = 5.535 with a significance of 0,000 (<= 0.05) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that work discipline has a significant effect on the work motivation of PDAM Tirta Bhagasasi Bekasi employees.
