The demand of electric vehicle is increasing day by day because of its contribution in environmental health. The main objective of this study was to explore the gender impact on pre-purchasing behaviour of consumers of electric vehicle.  The study was based on the quantitative design. The study was conducted in the Kathmandu valley among the electric vehicle users. The total sample size was 55. The standard structured questionnaire survey was used to collect the data. the study found that majority (72.7%) of the owner of electric vehicle were male. comparatively higher number (23.6%) customers had given most important to the information of electric vehicle based own their previous experience whereas least (1.8%) customers had given most important to the information disseminated through advertisement. Similarly, higher numbers (61.8%) customers reported that if they had any doubts or queries about the electric vehicle before purchasing decision, they directly consulted with the Company dealer to be clear in their queries. There was no impact of gender on pre-purchasing behaviour of customers of electric vehicles. Both male and female had similar practice of seeking the information before taking purchase decision. The future researcher should conduct the research on the purchase decision factors related to the electric vehicle users.

The objective of this study was to analyze consumer’s characteristics of yogurt as one of fermented dairy product, consumers satisfaction and factors influencing consumers purchase decision on yogurt in Manado city. The primary data were collected using structured questionnaire from a total sample of 400 consumers in Manado City. Samples were selected using the accidental sampling method with schedule (using alternating date/ day and place, respectively). Collecting data were done from July to September 2015. The result indicated that most consumers were teenagers, female students, and single persons. Consumers of yogurt in Manado City are were categorized quite satisfied with yogurt product. The product availability had to be considered by producer in order to increase consumer satisfaction. Partially, factors that significantly influencing consumer’s purchase decision in Manado were preservative content, product availability, variant flavor, product volume and additional nutritive value.

Due to increasing growth in urbanization and internet the way of lifestyle has been changing day by day. In order to ensure that harmful emission are monitored and can be controlled the acceptance of electric vehicles has been increased. In this paper we deal with control mechanism of different types of motors used in EVs mainly DC, IM, BLDC and PMSM motors. The paper contains proper MATLAB modelling and speed vs time graph so as to achieve a proper understanding regarding aspects of speed control and problems related to it.

There are various factors which effect on the purchase decision of consumers. Brand choice factor is one of the important to determine the purchase decision. The demand of electric vehicle is increasing because of its contribution in health and environment. Nepalese consumers are also more being attracted towards the use of electric vehicle so in this context, the study conducted with the objective to identify the brand choice factor on purchase decision of electric vehicle. The study was conducted among the 55-electric vehicle of Kathmandu valley. The structured survey questionnaire was administered for the data collection. It was based on quantitative design. Simple random sampling design was adopted to select the respondents. There was no significant difference between male and female, as well as caste groups, whereas there was significant difference between the educational levels on their brand choice factors at the .05 significant levels. The future researcher can study on the role of other factors to determine the purchase decision of electric vehicle consumers.

The motive behind the research is to find and analyse the impact of subjective norms and perceived behaviour control on the purchasing pattern of consumers while selecting eco-friendly products. The increase in consumer awareness related to environment has led a complete change in his/her lifestyle. The consumer of today is well knowledgeable but there are also certain more factors which derive his attitude in a positive direction towards green purchases which will be studied through this piece of research. The purpose of the research is study the factors influencing eco-friendly behaviour of consumers. The study on basis of extensive literature review develops a structured questionnaire, which through SPSS shows that both subjective norms and perceived behaviour control effect positively while making a green purchase decision. The research provides a number of implications for the marketer which can be used in sustainable development of the society.

Electric vehicles are increasing day by day because of its low battery cost and good battery capacity compared to other technology. Increasing automotive growth in electric vehicles also increases the automation to use it.Graphical User Interface for electric vehicles with a full-blown touch screen will become more easy to use with the introduction of fast charging stations. The approach shown to build HMI use Texas Instruments kit and CCS software. The TM4C123GH6PM processors provide scalability it also provides different processing speeds along with the software which is compatible with hardware to build low and high end applications, and provides connectivity with various peripherals required for Electric Vehicle System Equipment HMI e.g. UART and CAN. Along with this processor touch screen display K350QVGA (Texas Instruments) is used to test the output screen

With the issue of environmental pollution and energy crisis worsening day by day, the researches and applications of low-pollution and high energy-efficient electric vehicles have become the research trend in the automotive area nowadays. On the basis of analyzing the requirements of pure electric vehicles’ drive motors and power batteries, this paper makes a reasonable selection of the basic parts’ type of pure electric vehicles’ powertrain and the parameters matched. The matching parameter is proved to be reasonable by simulation.

This article presents a frank and open opinion on the challenges that will be faced in moving towards an electric mass transport ecosystem. World over there is considerable research activity on electric vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles. There seems to be a global effort to move from an ICE driven ecosystem to electric vehicle ecosystem. There is no simple means to make this transition. This road is filled with hurdles and challenges. This paper poses and discusses these challenges and possible solutions for enabling EVs.

This article outlines methods to facilitate the assessment of the impact of electric vehicle charging on distribution networks at planning stage and applies them to a case study. As network planning is becoming a more complex task, an approach to automated network planning that yields the optimal reinforcement strategy is outlined. Different reinforcement measures are weighted against each other in terms of technical feasibility and costs by applying a genetic algorithm. Traditional reinforcements as well as novel solutions including voltage regulation are considered. To account for electric vehicle charging, a method to determine the uptake in equivalent load is presented. For this, measured data of households and statistical data of electric vehicles are combined in a stochastic analysis to determine the simultaneity factors of household load including electric vehicle charging. The developed methods are applied to an exemplary case study with Norwegian low-voltage networks. Different penetration rates of electric vehicles on a development path until 2040 are considered.

As environmental regulations have been strengthened worldwide since the Paris Climate Agreement, the automobile industry is shifting its production paradigm to focus on eco-friendly vehicles such as electric vehicles and hydrogen-battery vehicles. Governments are banning fossil fuel vehicles by law and expanding the introduction of green vehicles. The energy efficiency of electric vehicles that use a limited power source called batteries depends on the driving environment. Applying a two-speed transmission to an electric vehicle can optimize average speed and performance efficiency at low speeds, and achieve maximum speed with minimal torque at high speeds. In this study, a two-speed transmission for an electric vehicle has been developed, to be used in a compact electric vehicle. This utilizes a planetary gear of a total of three pairs, made of a single module which was intended to enable two-speed. The ring gear was removed, and the carrier was used in common. When shifting, the energy used for the speed change is small, due to the use of the simple method of fixing the sun gear of each stage. Each gear was designed by calculating bending strength and surface durability, using JGMA standards, to secure stability. The safety factor of the gears used in the transmission is as follows: all gears have been verified for safety with a bending strength of 1.2 or higher and a surface pressure strength of 1.1 or higher. The design validity of the transmission was verified by calculating the gear meshing ratio and the reference efficiency of the gear. The transmission to be developed through the research results of this paper has a simple and compact structure optimized for electric vehicles, and has reduced shift shock. In addition, energy can be used more efficiently, which will help improve fuel economy and increase drive range.
