The number of children who overuse the device makes them less creative in writing and telling stories. In addition, children sometimes access news that is not suitable for them, such as scenes of violence, pornography, and porno-action. This condition also occurs in children in Ar-Rosyid Purwokerto. Community Service Program (PKM) in the form of journalistic training is conducted to build media literacy by developing children's creativity in the field of journalism, both in the form of writing and in the form of broadcasts.This training was held by lecturers and students of the Communication Studies Program at Universitas Amikom Purwokerto in mid September and October 2019 (every Saturdays). There were 20 elementary and junior high school students participated in this training. They joined the non-formal activities in Ar-Rosyid Purwokerto. The facilitators assisted the participants and provided them with knowledge and skills related to the journalistic principles and elements. The participants gained knowledge and skills on how to conduct interviews and observation, and write news according to journalistic rules. In addition, the participants gained experience about the radio broadcasting process and making journalism photos. The training started from the orientation, introduction of journalism for children, journalistic practices for children, practice, and evaluation. All steps were carried out at Universitas Amikom Purwokerto.After the training, the participants' interest in writing article and stories are improving. The participants can write free themes using journalistic elements. In additions, they are confident to do deliver their simple speech in front of audience as well as in the radio broadcasting.

Tujuan program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk membekali siswa SMP di kelurahan Bangsalsari kecamatan Bangsalsari kabupaten Jember tentang pengetahuan mengenai kesehatan reproduksi agar remaja putri akan lebih siap untuk menghadapi masa dewasa dan untuk mengurangi frekuensi pernikahan dini. Metode yang dilakukan adalah, penyuluhan reproduksi remaja, pelatihan dan pendampingan kader kesehatan. Hasil kegiatan adalah para remaja telah mampu mempraktekkan pengetahuannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari untuk menjaga kesehatan reproduksinya dan sebagai pioner pada lingkungan sekitar maupun adik kelas mereka serta telah terbentuknya kader kesehatan reproduksi remaja putri. Kata kunci—kader kesehatan, pioneer siswa, reproduksi remaja. Abstract The purpose of this community service program is to equip Junior High School students in the Bangsalsari village, Bangsalsari sub-district, Jember Regency about knowledge about health, so that young women will be better prepared for the future and to multiply early marriages. The method used is youth counseling, training and health cadre assistance. The result of the activity is that young people who have successfully practiced their knowledge in daily life for reproductive health and as pioneers in the surrounding environment and their junior class have also developed a young female health cadre. Keywords—health cadres, pioneers of students, adolescent reproduction

In this era of the COVID-19 pandemic, many students experience obstacles in their learning process, especially in implementing online learning models. The purpose of the community service program is to apply online learning models and media that can be used in learning in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. This program is intended for teachers and students at MTs SA PP Roudlotut Tholibin in Bandungharjo Village, Donorojo District, Jepara Regency. The implementation stages of the program include the development of learning tools and media, the application and process of making learning media, the use of website-based learning applications, and mentoring and application of web-based learning applications. The results of the community service program are guidelines for using web-based learning applications and innovative learning media. The results of the program show that the application of online learning models with innovative media can improve teacher performance and student understanding. Teachers can use creative media properly. Students' understanding has increased in learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.

It is undeniable that banking transactions are already inherent in everyday life. Therefore, banking literacy needs to be owned by each individual. People who are well literate easier to understand matters related to banking and have information to access the necessary banking services. To support efforts to improve financial literacy, one of which is in the banking sector, socialization in the form of community service needs to be done. Community service is intended for young junior high school students (SMP-IT ARAFAH, Depok) with the theme "Bank Facilitates Our Transactions. The main purpose of this community service focuses on improving the insight of banking literacy among junior high schools. This service program is carried out in 1 (one) day with structured training methods, namely lecture methods, information discussions and lastly conducted previews, evaluations and question and answer questions as a reference to assess how much participants understand the material that has been submitted. Basically the banking literacy of SMP-IT ARAFAH students is quite good and after the implementation of community service there was an increase in the average level of understanding of students which was originally 71.22% to 86.97%. This shows that efforts to improve banking literacy through the implementation of community service have produced positive results. Similar activities need to be developed further in order to instill banking literacy early on. Thus will create a well literate and financially inclusive society that will ultimately support economic development. Abstrak Tidak bisa dipungkiri bahwa transaksi perbankan sudah melekat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Oleh karena itu, literasi perbankan perlu dimiliki oleh setiap individu. Masyarakat yang well literate lebih mudah memahami hal-hal yang terkait dengan perbankan serta memiliki informasi untuk mengakses layanan jasa perbankan yang diperlukan. Untuk mendukung upaya peningkatan literasi keuangan salah satunya pada sektor perbankan, maka sosialisasai dalam bentuk pengabdian masyarakat perlu dilakukan. Pengabdian masyarakat ditujukan bagi kalangan muda siswi Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP-IT ARAFAH, Depok) dengan tema “Bank Mempermudah Transaksi Kita. Tujuan utama pengabdian masyarakat ini berfokus pada peningkatan wawasan literasi perbankan di kalangan Sekolah Menegah Pertama (SMP). Program pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam 1 (satu) hari dengan metode pelatihan terstruktur yakni metode ceramah, diskusi informasi dan terakhir dilakukan preview, evaluasi dan tanya jawab sebagai acuan untuk menilai seberapa besar pemahaman peserta terkait materi yang telah disampaikan. Pada dasarnya literasi perbankan Siswi SMP-IT ARAFAH sudah cukup baik dan setelah dilaksanakannya pengabdian masyarakat terjadi kenaikan pada Rata-rata tingkat pemahaman Siswi yang semula 71,22% menjadi 86,97%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya peningkatan literasi perbankan melalui pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat membuahkan hasil yang positif. Kegiatan serupa perlu dikembangkan lebih lanjut guna menanamkan literasi perbankan sejak dini. Dengan demikian akan tercipta masyarakat yang well literate dan financially inclusive yang pada akhirnya akan mendukung pembangunan ekonomi. Abstrak Pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan bagian integral tri dharma perguruan tinggi yang melibatkan dosen, mahasiswa, dan tenaga kependidikan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat bertujuan memberikan makna kebermanfaatan keberadaan Program Magister Administrasi Pendidikan kepada sekolah Kasih Immanuel dalam meningkatkan kompetensi mengimplementasikan kurikulum 2013. Populasi seluruh guru SD, SMP, SMA Kasih Immanuel sebanyak 15 orang dan sampel penelitian seluruh guru, namun yang hadir 12 orang. Data diperoleh dengan wawancara mendalam terhadap kepala sekolah dan guru. Selain itu data diperoleh melalui instrumen pre test dan post test. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan: (1) Guru mengajar merangkap di SD, SMP, dan SMA, (2) Guru yang memenuhi standar kualifikasi pendidikan 50%, (3) Guru yang sudah tersertifikasi 25%, dan (4) Pemberian bimbingan teknis implementasi kurikulum 2013 sangat bermanfaat meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik, personal, sosial dan profesional. Implikasi pengabdian kepada masyarakat guru semakin termotivasi melengkapi rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) dan meningkatkan profesionalitas guru.  Kata kunci: Kompetensi, implementasi, Kurikulum 2013 Abstract Community service is an integral part of the three pillars of higher education that involves lecturers, students, and education staff. Community service aims to give meaning to the usefulness of the existence of the Educational Administration, graduate Program Universitas Kristen Indonesia to the Kasih Immanuel school in improving the competence of implementing the 2013 curriculum. The population of all elementary school, junior high school students is Kasih Immanuel as many as 15 people and a sample of all teachers, but there are 12 people present. Data obtained by in-depth interviews with principals and teachers. In addition, data were obtained through pre-test and post-test instruments. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of community service show: (1) Teachers teaching concurrently in elementary, middle and high school, (2) Teachers who meet the 50% educational qualification standard, (3) 25% certified teachers, and (4) Providing technical implementation guidance the 2013 curriculum is very useful in increasing pedagogical, personal, social and professional. The implications of service to the teacher community are increasingly motivated to complete the lesson plan and increase teacher professionalism.  Keywords: Competence, implementation, curriculum

Abstract This Integrated Community Service Activity Real Work Lecture aims to revitalize school waste banks in designing sustainable environmental education models based on appropriate technology. Environmental education is expected to be obtained by junior high school students through the waste bank extracurricular program. Environmental education to be achieved is focused on managing and utilizing waste to produce environmental products into strategic activities that can be developed, in collaboration with successful waste banks. The method of implementation is in the form of observation and FGD conducted in SMP Negeri 9 and SMP Negeri 21 Bekasi City. Through this activity, various problems experienced by SMP Negeri 9 and SMP Negeri 21 Bekasi City were formulated in re-activating the school waste bank program. Based on the series of activities from FGD to simulation, it can be concluded that school leaders, environmental extracurricular coaches, and students of SMP Negeri 9 and SMP Negeri 21 Bekasi City really hope that waste management activities in their respective schools can be reactivated. Considering that the activities are still in a pandemic atmosphere, the reactivation of the school waste bank is carried out in conjunction with the restructuring of the extracurricular environmental management in their respective schools. Abstrak Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Terintegrasi Kuliah Kerja Nyata ini bertujuan untuk melakukan revitalisasi bank sampah sekolah dalam mendesain model pendidikan lingkungan berkelanjutan berbasis teknologi tepat guna. Pendidikan lingkungan diharapkan dapat diperoleh oleh siswa SMP melalui program ekstrakulikuler bank sampah. Pendidikan lingkungan yang ingin dicapai difokuskan pada pengelolaan dan pemanfaatan sampah sampai menghasilkan produk lingkungan menjadi kegiatan strategis yang dapat dikembangkan, bekerjasama dengan bank sampah yang sudah sukses. Metode pelaksanaan berupa observasi dan FGD yang dilakukan di SMP Negeri 9 dan SMP Negeri 21 Kota Bekasi. Melalui kegiatan ini dirumuskan berbagai permasalahan yang dialami oleh SMP Negeri 9 dan SMP Negeri 21 Kota Bekasi dalam mengaktifkan kembali program bank samapah sekolah. Berdasarkan rangkaian kegiatan dari mulai FGD sampai simulasi dapat disimpulkan bahwa pimpinan sekolah, Pembina ekstrakulikuler lingkungan, dan siswa SMP Negeri 9 dan SMP Negeri 21 Kota Bekasi sangat berharap agar kegiatan pengelolaan sampah di sekolah masing-masing dapat diaktifkan kembali. Mengingat kegiatan masih dalam suasana pandemi maka pengaktifan kembali bank sampah sekolah dilakukan bersamaan dengan restukturisasi pengurus ektrakulikuler lingkungan di sekolah masing-masing.

This community service was a training in writing descriptive text for junior high school students in Joboan village, Probolinggo city. The method of this community service covered four stages: a) analyzing, b) planning and developing the content, c) implementing and d) training. In analyzing stage, the writer found problems faced by the students in writing descriptive text. In planning and developing the content stage, the writer developed method to write descriptive text by utilizing picture and guided question. With this pandemic situation, in implementing stage, the writer gathered 10 participants by applying health protocol suggested by the Government. Training stage was done for three days, 20-22 of July 2020. In the first day, the writer gave explanation related descriptive text. In the second day, the participants started to practice writing descriptive text by using picture and guided question. Feedback was given in the third day. The results of this training were shown by the presence of all participants three days in a row, they also gave responds and asked questions enthusiastically in the training process. The participants no longer faced difficulty in writing descriptive text since they knew that picture and guided question can help them write descriptive text better. The Akasia study group is an English learning group for elementary and junior high school students located near the Warmadewa University campus. This community service is carried out in Akasia study groups in the form of English language teaching activities. Therefore, the purpose of this community service activity is to improve the English speaking’s skills of students in the Akasia study group. The method applied to this activity is the Communicative Language Taeching in Secondary Level method. In addition, this activity is carried out through the Zoom application. In these service activities, the students of the Akasia study group were enthusiastic and active in participating in learning or training. Students in the Akasia study group were given several English functions that were often used, namely greeting, asking name, and asking date, time, day year.

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this community service is to increase the creativity of junior high school students in order to be able to use used plastic waste into crafts that are useful for everyday life and have economic value. This activities are held from February to April in the Natural Sciences laboratory and Multimedia room at the Pembangunan 1 Junior High School in Bogor and it is expected that all residents in the school can understand how to handle various types of garbage. In this activity the students are expected to be able to make various kinds of crafts ranging from accessories to souvenirs. Therefore, to explore that creativity, it is necessary to give examples of several items so that they are motivated to make it even able to transmit it to others. The method of this activity is uses the concept of visual learning and training that is prepared based on the creativity of each student, where the team becomes a facilitator. A facilitator is only functioning and acting as accompaniment and giving examples to students based on existing problems to overcome. The result is an increase in student activity and creativity in making crafts. The enthusiasm, practice and creativity that are shown provide an illustration that students are very happy to get assistance and training from the Abdimas team. Keywords: Training, Creativity, Accessories, Used Trash ABSTRAKTujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan kreativitas siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) agar bisa memanfaatkan sampah plastik bekas menjadi kerajinan yang berguna untuk kehidupan sehari-hari dan memiliki nilai ekonomis. Kegiatan ini diselengarakan dari bulan Februari sampai April di laboratorium Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan ruang Multimedia SMP Pembangunan 1 Bogor serta diharapakan kepada seluruh warga di sekolah bisa memahami cara menangani berbagai sampah. Dalam kegiatan ini peserta didik diharapkan mampu untuk membuat berbagai macam kerajinan mulai dari aksesoris sampai souvenir. Maka dari itu, untuk menggali kreativitas itu, perlu diberikan contoh dari beberapa barang agar mereka termotivasi untuk membuat bahkan dapat menularkannya kepada orang lain. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini menggunakan konsep pembelajaran visual dan pelatihan yang disusun berdasarkan kreativitas masing-masing siswa.. Seorang fasilitator hanyalah berfungsi dan bertindak mendampingi dan memberikan contoh kepada peserta didik yang didasarkan atas permasalahan yang ada untuk diatasi. Adapun hasilnya adalah peningkatan aktivitas dan kreativitas siswa di dalam membuat kerajinan tangan. Consumption of foods that can increase body immunity and are nutritionally balanced for school children especially in the current conditions amid the Covid-19 pandemic. SMPN 2 Bayang is one of the junior secondary schools located in Bayang District, Pesisir Selatan Regency. Healthy eating habits are the most important behaviors that can affect the state of nutrition and health of a person so that it is hoped that through education on balanced nutrition and healthy food for body immunity. The purpose of this community service is to increase junior high school students' knowledge about nutritionally balanced food and increase body immunity. The service began with an introduction to the approach to students and was continued with a pre-test. The next activity is nutrition education in the form of providing materials and simulations in preparing a balanced nutrition menu using video media, post-tests, and question and answer with prizes with community service participants. Participants and school principals were very enthusiastic in participating in the activity, because it was considered very important in the Covid-19 pandemic. From the pre-test and post-test results, it was concluded that there was a significant difference between the level of knowledge before and after nutrition education.
