Abstract   This study aims to determine how much influence the arm muscle explosive power, leg muscle explosive power and abdominal muscle strength on volleyball smash results at SMK Negeri 3 Palembang. This research method is using quantitative path analysis method. The study population was all students of SMK Negeri 3 Palembang, while the study sample was students who had met the criteria of 30 students. Data collection techniques in this study used two hand medicine ball put tests, vertical jumps, sit-ups, and volleyball smash tests. The data analysis technique used t-test with the help of SPSS program. Based on the results of the study it was found that the magnitude of the effect of arm muscle explosive power on volleyball smashes on students of SMK Negeri 3 Palembang was 18.9%. The magnitude of the influence of leg muscle explosive power on volleyball smashes on Palembang State Vocational School 3 students was 26.4%. The magnitude of the effect of abdominal muscle strength on volleyball smashes on Palembang State Vocational School 3 students was 16.4%.   Keywords: Arm Muscle Explosive Power, Leg Muscle Explosive Power, Abdominal Muscle Strength, Smash, Volleyball   Abstrak   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh daya ledak otot lengan, daya ledak otot tungkai dan kekuatan otot perut terhadap hasil smash bola voli pada SMK Negeri 3 Palembang. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif path analysis. Populasi penelitian  yaitu seluruh siswa SMK Negeri 3 Palembang, sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah siswa yang telah memenuhi kriteria sebanyak 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes two hand medicine ball put, vertical jump, sit-up, dan tes smash bola voli. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t dengan bantuan program SPSS. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa besarnya pengaruh daya ledak otot lengan terhadap smash bola voli pada siswa SMK Negeri 3 Palembang sebesar 18,9%. Besarnya pengaruh daya ledak otot tungkai terhadap smash bola voli pada siswa SMK Negeri 3 Palembang sebesar sebesar 26,4%. Besarnya pengaruh kekuatan otot perut terhadap smash bola voli pada siswa SMK Negeri 3 Palembang sebesar sebesar 16,4%.   Kata kunci: Daya Ledak Otot Lengan, Daya Ledak Otot Tungkai, Kekuatan Otot Perut, Smash, Bola Voli

This study aims (1) to determine the contribution of the elements of the physical components of explosive power with the ability to head the ball (2) to determine the contribution of the elements of the physical components of strength with the ability to head the ball (3) to determine the contribution of the elements of the physical components of flexibility with the ability to head the ball (4) to to know the contribution of the elements of the physical components of balance with the ability to head the ball (5) to know together the elements of the physical components of explosive power, strength, flexibility and balance with the ability to head the ball. The population in this study were students of SMA Negeri 2 Sinjai. By random sampling, a sample of 40 students. The data collection technique used a test to measure the physical components of explosive power, strength, flexibility and balance with the ability to head the ball. The data analysis technique used is correlation analysis. Based on the data analysis, the following results were obtained: (1) The contribution of the elements of the physical components of the explosive power with the ability to head the ball was 43.6%. (2) Contribution of the elements of the physical components of strength with the ability to head the ball by 39.0%. (3) The contribution of the physical components of back togok flexibility with the ability to head the ball by 39.3%. (4) The contribution of the physical components of balance with the ability to head the ball by 44.4%. (5) Jointly contribute to the physical components of the limb explosive power, abdominal muscle strength, backward flexibility and balance with the ability to head the ball by 50.4%

The problem in this study is that volleyball extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau City still have jumps and punches in the weak category, this is due to the weak power of the students' leg muscles which causes the smash to be performed less than optimal. The research objective was to determine whether there was a relationship between the explosive power of the leg muscles and the smash ability of volleyball players at SMP Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau City. The variables of this study were the leg muscle explosive power as the independent variable, and the smash ability was the dependent variable. This type of research is correlational research. This research was conducted on 14 male volleyball extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau City. The instrument for collecting the explosive power of the leg muscles used the vertical jump test and the smash used the smash ability test. The data analysis technique used the product moment correlation formula. The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between the leg muscle explosive power (x) and the volleyball smash ability (y), the calculation result was rxy = 0.55 from this value can be categorized as moderate. The results stated that there was a significant relationship between the explosive power of leg muscles on the smash ability of volleyball extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau City, this was stated based on hypothesis testing where t hit = 2.280 > t tab = 2.178.

This research was conducted in order to have a goal in knowing the effect of leg muscle strength, flexibility togok and balance on the Takraw service. The research subjects were 44 Sepak Takraw athletes of the Asia Pacific Tigers Club using a total sampling technique. The data collected consisted of leg muscle strength, flexibility togok and balance in the Sepak Takraw Seve. This research uses survey method with Path Analysis technique. Analysis testing is performed by calculating the data requirements, namely, linearity regression test, normality test and significance test. The results of the study found that there is an influence of leg muscle strength on the sepak takraw serve with a significance value of 0.303. There is the influence of togok flexibility on the sepak takraw serve with a significance value of 0.308. There is an effect of balance on the sepak takraw service with a significance value of 0.333. There is an influence of leg muscle strength on balance with a significance value of 0.459. There is the effect of togok flexibility on balance with a significance value of 0.445. The conclusion of this study is that there is an influence of leg muscle strength, togok flexibility, and balance on the sepak takraw serve. Keywords: leg muscle strength, togok flexibility, balance, sepak takraw serve.AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan guna menguji pengaruh kekuatan otot tungkai, kelentukan togok dan keseimbangan pada servis sepak takraw. Subjek penelitian adalah 44 atlet sepak takraw Klub Macan Asia Pasific dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode  survei dengan teknik analisis jalur atau Path Analysis.  Data yang dikumpulkan terdiri dari pengukuran kekuatan otot tungkai menggunakan Leg Dynamometer, kelentukan togok menggunakan Sit and Reach, keseimbangan stork stand dan tes servis sepak takraw. Pengujian analisis dilakukan dengan perhitungan persyaratan data yaitu, uji linieritas regresi, uji normalitas dan uji signifikansi. Hasil yang telah dilakukan penelitian didapati bahwa ada pengaruh kekuatan otot tungkai terhadap servis sepak takraw dengan nilai signifikansi 0,303. Ada pengaruh kelentukan togok terhadap servis sepak takraw dengan nilai signifikansi 0,308. Ada pengaruh keseimbangan terhadap servis sepak takraw dengan nilai signifikansi 0,333. Ada pengaruh kekuatan otot tungkai terhadap keseimbangan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,459. Ada pengaruh kelentukan togok terhadap keseimbangan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,445. This study aimed to determine how much influence between the four independent variables, namely leg muscle strength, abdominal muscles strength, back muscle strength, self confidence, and the climbing variable bound. The method used in this study is the path analysis method, which is an analysis technique which is used to study the causal relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable. The sample in this study were 30 rock climbing athletes. Data analysis techniques used in this research are (1) path analysis (2) simple correlation (3) coefficient of determination. From the results of this study indicated that: (1) of the 10 problems that were formulated, all of them showed results there was a direct influence between the research variables. (2) the direct effect of leg muscle strength on the strength of the back muscles shows the highest results between the formulations of other problems.

The problem in this research is that there is still a lack of smash accuracy on male volleyball players at SMA N 8 Padang. This study aims to determine the contribution between the explosive power of the leg muscles and the flexibility of the waist muscles on the smash accuracy of male volleyball players at SMA N 8 Padang. This research is a correlational type, with a population of this study as many as 20 male players. Sampling was done by saturated sampling, so the sample in this study were 20 male volleyball players at SMA N 8 Padang. The explosive power of the leg muscles was measured by the vertical jump test and the flexibility of the waist muscles by the bridge test, then the accuracy of the volleyball smash was measured by a normal smash. The data analysis technique used was simple correlation analysis and multiple correlation. Results: There was a contribution of the leg muscle explosive power to the accuracy of the volleyball smash of 50.27%. There is a contribution of waist muscle flexibility to the accuracy of the volleyball smash of 43.43%. Then, the leg muscle explosive power and the flexibility of the waist muscles simultaneously contributed to the accuracy of the volleyball smash by 72.93%. Thus, it can be concluded that the leg muscle explosive power and flexibility of the waist contribute to the accuracy of the volleyball smash.

<p><em>The purpose of this research is to know the relationship between leg mucle power, stomach muscle strength, body flexibility and ankle’s coordination on side kick’s speed in perguruan pencak silat kembang setaman wonosobo year 2020. This study is a corelation researcher, it needs one meeting to collect the data. The subject of this research is 14 athletes of Kembang Setaman Wonosobo. Source of data of this research is from the athletes and the researcher. Methods of collecting data that the researcher uses are test and observation. The researcher uses SPSS to test the data. Method of data analysis that the researcher chooses is descriptive quantitative. The study used 5 variables, namely variable x with leg muscle power, abdominal muscle strength, body flexibility and ankle coordination and variable Y with side kick speed / T. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be explained that (1) leg muscle power has a significant relationship to the side kick speed / right T indicated by the sig value. 0.008 &lt;0.05 with a contribution value of 50.5% for the right leg and a sig. 0.004 &lt;0.05 with a contribution value of 4.1% for the left leg and a relationship between leg muscle power and the left side kick speed / T indicated by the sig value. 0.003 &lt;0.05 with a contribution value of 2.7% for the right leg and a sig value. 0.000 &lt;0.05, the contribution value is 66.7% for the left leg (2) the strength of the abdominal muscles is indicated by the value of sig. 0.012 and 0.047 &lt;0.05 with a contribution value of 2% and 2.1% (3) body flexibility has no significant relationship as indicated by the sig value. 0.541 and 0.073&gt; 0.005 (4) eye-foot coordination does not have a significant relationship as indicated by the sig value. 0.374 and0.472&gt; 0.05. From the value of the contribution above, the contribution value is the leg muscle power compared to the abdominal muscle strength from the total value of the contribution, namely 55.6% for the side kick speed / T right and 71,1% for the contibution value for the side kick speed / T left. Based on the data above, it can be concluded from this study that there is a relationship between leg muscle power and abdominal muscle strength to side kick speed / T in the Kembang Setaman Wonosobo martial arts college in 2020 and there is no relationship between body flexibility and ankle coordination on side kick speed / T in Setaman Wonosobo Kembang Silat College 2020.</em></p>

Background: Badminton is one of the most popular sports in the world, including in Indonesia. Badminton has been around since the 1930s. The strength of the abdominal muscles contributes to a full smash during hitting. Explosive power is an important biometric ability in sports activities, because the explosive power will determine how hard people can hit, kick, jump, run and so on. Jump height is a component of physical fitness to measure leg muscle power. The purpose of this study was to analyze the correlation between abdominal muscle strength, arm muscle explosive power, jump height and the result of a full smash in badminton athletes. Methods: This is a correlational research with cross-sectional approach. This research in the Badminton Field of SMK N 2 Manado in November 2020, using an analytical method with a cross-sectional design. The population is all PB athletes in Manado. The research instrument used was for abdominal muscle strength (sit-ups), for the explosive power of the arm muscles (two hand medicine ball put test), for the height of the jump (vertical jump test), the results of the smash. Data analysis used two stages, namely univariate and bivariate. Results: The results showed that the most distributed respondents based on male sex (62%), the average value of abdominal muscle strength (25.72), the average value of arm muscle explosive power (1.52), the average value – the average jump height (2), and the average value of the smash results (16.44). The results of bivariate analysis showed that there was no relationship between abdominal muscle strength (rcount = 0.211 < rtable= 0.273), arm muscle explosive power (rcount = 0.020) < rtable = 0.273), and jump height (rcount = -0.008 < rtable = 0.273) with a smash hit. Conclusion: That can be conclude there is no correlation between abdominal muscle strength, arm muscle explosive power, and jump height with the results of smash hits.

Abstract: Based on the observations of researchers on the implementation of Activities in SMA Negeri 1 Ulu Musi, District of Four Lawang, that the passing ability of students is not good so that it often causes the ball to not be exact when doing it. This problem is thought to be caused by several factors, including low levels of leg muscle strength. This study aims to determine the interaction of leg muscle strength on upper passing skills in volleyball games. This research method is a correlational method. The population of this research was all students of Class X of SMA 1Ulu Musi as many as 20 people while the samples were taken in total sampling. The place of the research was at SMA Negeri 1 Ulu musi, while the time of the study was February-March 2020. Data on leg muscle strength were taken with vertical tests jump, and passing ability data is taken by passing the top test. The data analysis technique of this research uses correlation analysis techniques. The results of the data analysis show that: There is a significant relationship between leg muscle strength (X) and upper passing skills (Y) in high school students 1 Ulu Musi, with rxy = 0.90> r (0.05) (20) = 0.444.   Abstrak: Berdasarkan pengamatan peneliti terhadap pelaksanaan Kegiatan di SMA Negeri 1 Ulu Musi Kabupaten Empat Lawang, bahwa kemampuan passing para siswa kurang baik sehingga menyebabkan bola sering tidak tepat pasa saat melakukakannya. Masalah inilah diduga disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, antara lain rendahnya tingkat kekuatan otot tungkai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Interaksi Kekuatan Otot Tungkai Terhadap Keterampilan Passing Atas pada permainan bola voli. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini seluruh siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 1Ulu Musi sebanyak 20 orang sedangkan sampel diambil secara total sampling, Tempat pelaksanaan penelitian di Di SMA Negeri I Ulu musi, adapun waktu penelitian adalah bulan Febuari-Maret 2020. Data kekuatan otot tungkai diambil dengan tes vertical jump, dan data Kemampuan passing diambil dengan tes passing atas. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik dengan analisis korelasi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa: Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kekuatan otot tungkai (X) terhadap keterampilan passing atas (Y) pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Ulu Musi, dengan rxy =0,90> r(0,05)(20) =0,444

Background. The goal of the research is to reveal the dynamics in physical abilities of junior school learners (10–11 years old) and their links with development of self-control abilities by applying the programme for development of self-control abilities in physical education classes during the experimental period. The pedagogical experiment was carried out with 4th forms of general education schools of Klaipėda, Kaunas and Raseiniai from 2011 to 2012 and lasted for one school year. The research included 178 school learners in the experiment group (n = 85) and in the control group (n = 93).Methods. The questionnaire method was applied to evaluate the change in self-control abilities, whereas the testing method was used to identify the change in physical abilities (flexibility, explosive power, agility, speed, balance, abdominal muscle strength and stamina).Results. Statistically significant differences were identified among boys from the experimental and the control groups considering the results of flexibility, long jump, abdominal muscle strength and stamina (p < .01), dexterity and speed (p < .05) and among girls when measuring the results of flexibility, long jump, speed, balance, abdominal muscle strength and stamina (p < .01). Application of Pearson’s correlation, correlating links between the abilities of physical and psychosocial self-control, revealed that school learners with better abilities of psychosocial self-control also demonstrated a number of better physical abilities: linear correlation links were established between psychosocial control and flexibility, explosive power, speed, stamina and balance abilities. These links showed that improvement of self-control skills had an effect on self-development of physical abilities.Conclusion. The research has revealed a positive impact of the programme due to which development of self-control abilities determined a change in physical abilities.Keywords: self-control, physical abilities, junior schoolchildren.

 Purpose: This study aims to: 1) Determine the anthropometric factors (height, arm length, foot length) that most determine the ability of men's volleyball jump service. 2) Knowing the biomotor factors (leg muscle power, abdominal muscle strength, arm and shoulder muscle power, eye-hand coordination, togok flexibility and kinesthetic perception) that most determine the ability of men's volleyball jump service. Material and methods. The population of this study were all male athletes of the Volleyball Student Activity with a total of 36 people. The approach taken in this study is a quantitative approach, using a confirmatory factor analysis design. Data were processed and analyzed using the Computerized Statistical Program with the SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) Version 22 system and using the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin and Bartlett's Test. Results. Based on the results of the research and the results of the data analysis that has been carried out, the following conclusions are obtained: First, the anthropometric factor that is the most dominant in determining the ability of volleyball jump service for male athletes in the UNS student activity unit is the length of the feet with a value of 0.879. Second, the biomotor factor that most dominantly determines the ability of volleyball jump service for male athletes in the UNS student activity unit is leg muscle power with a value of 0.864. Conclusions. Anthropometric factors and biomotor factors that determine the ability of volleyball jump service to male athletes in the UNS student activity unit consist of seven factors, namely height, arm length, leg length, leg muscle power, abdominal muscle strength, arm muscle power and flexibility, togok.
