An experimental research study was designed to analyze the efficiency of accelerated learning to facilitate the understanding of the English language at secondary level. The population of the present study consists of all students of grade 9 who were enrolled in Government High School Heir, Bedian Road Lahore in academic year 2018-2019. By applying simple random sampling technique, sixty-four (64) students were preferred as a sample. Data were collected by conducting pre-test and post-test and analyzed by SPSS software version 21. The analysis pointed out that the students taught through accelerated learning perform better as compared to the students taught via traditional method. Furthermore, it was also found that the students who were taught via accelerated learning method of teaching can perform maximum learning levels of domains as compared to others. The study recommended that subject English should be taught with accelerated learning method of teaching at secondary level.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan problem solving antara anak yang distimulasi menggunakan media busy book dengan anak yang distimulasi dengan metode konvensional kelompok A Taman Kanak-kanak Gugus VII Kecamatan Buleleng tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan non-equivalen post test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak kelompok A Taman Kanak-kanak Gugus VII Kecamatan Buleleng tahun pelajaran 2018/2019, yang berjumlah 157 anak. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Sampel penelitian ini adalah eksperimen pada kelompok A1 TK Santa Maria yang berjumlah 20 anak dan kontrol pada kelompok A1 di TK Lab Undiksha yang berjumlah 17 anak. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t dengan taraf signifikan 5% dan dk = 2,03 dengan demikian thitung>ttabel (15,882>2,03) maka H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak sehingga hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan problem solving antara anak yang distimulasi menggunakan media busy book dengan anak yang distimulasi dengan metode konvensional kelompok A Gugus VII Kecamatan Buleleng tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Dengan demikian media busy book berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan problem solving anak kelompok A Taman Kanak-kanak Gugus VII Kecamatan Buleleng tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Kata-kata kunci : Kemampuan Problem Solving, Busy Book, Media Pembelajaran, Anak Usia DiniAbstractThe purpose of the study is to determine the significant differences in problem solving abilities between the children who were stimulated by busy book learning media and the children who were stimulated by conventional method in group A Taman Kanak-kanak Gugus VII Buleleng Sub-district in academic year 2018/2019. This study used a quasi-experimental with non-equivalent design with post-test only control group design. The population of this study was all children in group A Taman Kanak-kanak Gugus VII Buleleng Sub-district in academic year 2018/2019 which consisted of 157 children. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling technique. There are 20 children in experiment group in group A1 at TK Santa Maria and 17 children in control in group A1 at TK Lab Undiksha. The hypothesis testing used t-test with a significant level of 5% and dk = 2.03, thus tcount> ttable (15,882> 2.03) then H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected so the results showed that there were the significant differences in problem solving between the children who were stimulated by busy book learning media with the children who were stimulated by conventional method in group A Gugus VII Buleleng Sub-district in academic year 2018/2019. This study aims to find out how Youtube contributes the development of students’ speaking English skill. The design used in this research was one group pretest and posttest. The population of this research is all of the students at the first semester of english language education in the academic year 2019/2020 which the accessible population is 84 students while the sample of this research was 30 students. It took by using purposive sampling technique because the writer chose the sample based on proficiency and the sample is suitable for the purpose of the research. The data collected in this reseasrch is quantitative data. The writer used a test to collect the data. Then, to know the noramility and homogeneous distribution or not, the writer used the normality and homogeneity test. From the result of test normality showed that significant value of pretest was 0.047, while the significant of value of post-test was 0.000. It means that the data is not normal distribution, it was because the significant value of post-test 0.000 were less than 0.05. The result of homogeneity showed that the significant score was .026. based on the testing criteria significant score < 0.05. It means the data is not same variant group. Therefore, the test of data hypothesis, the writer used non-parametic test, Mann Whitney test. Its result of test showed that significance score .000 was smaller than probability score 0.05. It was concluded that accepted. In other words there was a significant positive effect of using youtube as media to improve students; speaking english skill.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya tingkat kemandirian siswa TK terutama berkaitan dengan aktivitas sehari-hari. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat digunakan untuk melatih pemahaman dan kemampuan kemandirian pada siswa TK adalah dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran bermain peran. Masalah pokok yang dikaji adalah apakah ada pengaruh metode pembelajaran bermain peran terhadap tingkat kemandirian siswa TK. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran bermain peran terhadap tingkat kemandirian siswa TK. Berdasarkan kajian teori diajukan hipotesis ada pengaruh metode pembelajaran bermain peran terhadap tingkat kemandirian siswa Di TK Mandiri Pedurungan Semarang.Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah ada pengaruh bermain peran terhadap kemandirian anak prasekolah di TK Mandiri Pedurungan Semarang Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh bermain peran terhadap kemandirian anak.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan model true eksperimental yang menggunakan rancangan eksperimen pretest-posttestone grup design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa TK Mandiri Pedurungan Semarang kelompok B dengan jumlah 15 siswa.Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala kemandirian siswa.Berdasarkan hasil rata-rata pre test sebesar 54,93, kemudian post test rata-ratanya menjadi 71,27 sehingga terdapat peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 16,34. Hasil uji perbedaan menggunakan uji t yang didapatkan nilai t sebesar -2,68858 pada taraf signifikansi 5%, maka dapat dinyatakan metode pembelajaran menggunakan metode bermain peran efektif dalam meningkatkan kemandirian siswa secara signifikan.Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa bermain peran terhadap kemandirian anak di TK Mandiri Pedurungan Semarang Tahun Ajaran 2016-2017 dapat dinyatakan terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan, yang artinya bahwa metode pembelajaran bermain peran pada anak TK mampu meningkatkan kemandirian siswa secara signifikan.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut di atas maka guru PAUD hendaknya lebih variatif dalam memberikan pembelajaran dan bimbingan kepada muridnya sehingga siswa tidak mengalami kejenuhan pada saat penyampaian materi.16ABSTRACTThis research is motivated by low level of independence of kindergarten students especially related to daily activities. One alternative that can be used to train understanding and independence abilities in kindergarten students is by using role playing learning methods. The main problem that is studied is whether there is influence of role playing method to the level of independence of kindergarten students. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of role playing method to the level of independence of kindergarten students. Based on the theoretical study of hypotheses, there is the influence of learning method of role play to the level of student independence In TK Mandiri Pedurungan Semarang.The problem in this research is whether there is influence of role play to the independence of preschool children in TK Mandiri Pedurungan Semarang Academic Year 2016/2017. The objective to be achieved in this research is to know the influence of role play on children independence.The research method used is experimental with true experimental model using experimental design of pretest-posttestone group design. The population in this research is the students of TK Mandiri Pedurungan Semarang group B with the number of 15 students. The sampling technique used is total sampling. Data collection using student self-reliance scale.Based on the average pre test result of 54.93, then the post test average becomes 71.27 so that there is an average increase of 16.34. Differences test results using t test obtained t-value of -2.68858 at 5% significance level; it can be expressed learning method using the method of playing an effective role in improving student independence significantly.This research can be concluded that role play to the independence of children in TK Mandiri Pedurungan Semarang academic year 2016-2017 can be stated there is influence significantly, which means that method of learning role playing in kindergarten children able to increase student independence significantly.Based on the results of the above study then PAUD teachers should be more varied in providing learning and guidance to students so that students do not experience saturation at the time of delivery of the material.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode bercerita berbasis kearifan lokal terhadap kemampuan empati anak kelompok B1. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pre-Experimental Design dengan desain One-group pretest-posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak kelompok B1 TK Tunas Daud Kecamatan Denpasar Barat jumlah 20 anak. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, sehingga diperoleh kelompok B1 sebanyak 19 anak. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu data kemampuan empati anak menunjukkan rata-rata pre-test 54,31 , sedangkan nilai rata-rata post-test 89,63 dan diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 14,07. Pada ttabel dengan kriteria signifikansi 5% dengan dk = 18 menunjukkan nilai 2,101. Sehingga data kemampuan empati menunjukkan bahwa thitung > ttabel. Maka dapat disimpulkan metode bercerita berbasis kearifan lokal berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan empati anak kelompok B1 TK Tunas Daud Kecamatan Denpasar Barat Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Berdasarkan simpulan tersebut, maka disarankan kepada peneliti lain agar dapat menggunakan metode bercerita berasis kearifan lokal sebagai metode pembelajaran dalam membentuk kemampuan empati anak.Kata Kunci : Kata kunci : metode bercerita, berbasis kearifan lokal, kemampuan empati, anak usia dini This study refers to an understanding of the methods described based on local wisdom on the ability of empathy for children in group B1. This research design study is Pre-Experimental with a One-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all children in group B1 TK Tunas Daud West Denpasar Subdistrict, there were 20 children. The research sample was determined by purposive sampling technique, so that B1 group was obtained as many as 19 children. The results of this study are data on children's empathy ability showing an average pre-test of 54,31, while the average value of post-test is 89.63 and the value of tcount is 14,07. At ttable with a significance criterion of 5% with dk = 18 indicating the value of 2.101. So the data on empathy ability shows that t count> t table. Then it can be concluded that the method of storytelling based on local wisdom influences the ability of empathy in the children of B1 group TK Tunas Daud, West Denpasar District, Academic Year 2018/2019. Based on these conclusions, it is recommended that other researchers be able to use the method of storytelling based on local wisdom as a learning method in shaping children's empathy abilities. keyword : Keywords: stories telling method, based on local wisdom, empathy ability, early childhood

    The result of observation shows that the students' understanding of physics science subject is still low. Many teachers still use conventional methods. Students just listen and take notes. Therefore, the use of appropriate and varied learning models is expected to help students in understanding a concept. One alternative of physics learning that can help students understand the concept is through pictorial riddle learning method. This pictorial riddle learning method uses a riddle of drawings on a whiteboard, poster or projected from a transparency then the teacher asks questions relating to the riddle. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of the influence of pictorial riddle learning method on the understanding of physics concepts class IX students semester 1 SMP Negeri 2 Painan 2015/2016 academic year. Sampling is done by simple random sampling technique. The research population is all students of class IX SMP Negeri 2 Painan. The sample used is class IX-2 as experiment class and IX-3 as control class. The variable in this research is the students' concept understanding on the magnetism materials, with the experimental control group design pre test post test. Data retrieval is done through the test in the form of free description and analyzed using simple regression analysis, coefficient of determination and test of significance in microsoft excel. The results of data analysis showed the relationship between variables expressed in a simple regression equation Y = 51.99 + 0.4286. The value of correlation coefficient 0,5787 with enough criterion (0,5 <r <0,8) value 0,3348 and coefficient of determination equal to 33,5% and> (3,175> 2,015) at significance level 5%, which mean study pictorial Riddle method effect of 33.5% on the understanding of student physics concepts. Thus it can be concluded that there is a positive influence and quite significant method of learning pictorial riddle on the understanding of students' concepts on magnetism materials.

Abstract. This research aims to determine the factors that influence the growing interest in learning of students in Athira Makassar Islamic Elementary school in class 4.1. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive survey method. The population of the research was 74 fourth grade students of Athira Makassar Islamic Elementary school, consist of 4 classes, the sampling using simple random sampling technique, so that class 4.1 was chosen as a sample of 20 students. Data were analyzed using statistical data analysis technique which consisted of editing, data tabulated stages, then presented and then presented in table form and described descriptively. The result showed a percentage of learning method 14,41%, the geographical location of the school 12,56%, phisycal indikator 11,78%, learning models 11,74%, talent 9,18%, learning models 8,54%, indikator of needs 6,28%, social competence 5,97%, building indikator 5,77%, personality competence 5,43%, and pedagogic competence 5,30%. It was concluded that the learning method was the most influential factor in the growth of student`s interest in learning at Athira Makassar Islamic Elementary school grade 4.Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi tumbuhnya minat belajar siswa di SD Islam Athirah Makassar kelas 4.1. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei deskriptif.Populasi penelitian adalah keseluruhan siswa kelas 4 SD  Islam Athirah Baruga Makassar berjumlah 74 orang siswa yang terdiri dari empat kelas, penarikan sampel menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling, sehingga terpilih kelas 4.1 sebagai sampel yang berjumlah 20 orang siswa. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data statistik yang terdiri dari tahap penyuntingan, input data, dan tahap tabulasi,selanjutnya dipersentasekan kemudian disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan dijabarkan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase metode pembelajaran 14,41%, letak geografis sekolah (12,56%), indikator fisik (11,78%), model pembelajaran (11,74%), bakat (9,18%), model pembelajaran (8,54%), indikator kebutuhan (6,28%), kompetensi sosial (5,97%), indikator bangunan (5,77%), kompetensi kepribadian (5,43%), dan kompetensi pedagogik (5,30%).Disimpulkan bahwa, metode pembelajaran adalah faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap tumbuhnya minat belajar siswa di SD Islam Athirah Makassar kelas 4.

This study explores the effect of differentiated teaching method vs. traditional teaching method on students’ learning at ‘A’ level. It is an experimental research, conducted in Aitchison College. By applying simple random sampling technique, 70 students are selected as a sample from the population. Pre-test and post-test are conducted for data collection. Research investigates, how differentiated method of teaching effects learners’ academic achievement. The retention level of the students who are taught via differentiated teaching and traditional teaching method is. After conducting a posttest, data is analyzed with pair-sample and independent sample t-test by using SPSS. Analysis shows that the students taught via differentiated teaching have more power of retention than the students taught via traditional teaching methods. The control group perform up to application level while experimental group perform up to evaluation level of cognitive domain.

This research explored the use of the ICARE Model to studying the writing ability at the Senior high school in Parepare. ICARE includes five essential elements of a good learning experience, can be applied to children, teenagers, and parents, namely Introduction, Connection, Application, Reflection, and Extension. This research involved a population from Senior high school in Parepare in the academic year 2015/2016. The students consist of two classes, an experimental class, and a control class. Each class consists of 36 students. This research utilized a cluster random sampling technique to select the sample. The instrument used in this research is the writing test. The data were analyzed by using t-test. The research reveals that there was a significant increase in students writing ability. This finding indicates that the mean score of the post-test of the experimental group is getting much better than the control class. It meant that using ICARE developed the students' ability in writing, and the writing component increased the highest is in the vocabulary aspect.

This research was conducted to find out whether there was a significant effect of the Mnemonic method in teaching vocabulary mastery at the Seventh-grade students’ of SMPN 22 Buton Tengah. The design of the research was a pre-experimental design ( one group pre-test post-test design). The population of this research was the seventh-grade (VII) of SMPN 22 Buton Tengah which consists of three classes, while the sample in this research was class VII3 that consisted of 25 students and used a simple random sampling technique. The instrument in this study was multiple choices, matching tests and public buildings, food, people around us to the topic. This study was conducted three sections namely pre-test, treatment, and post-test. The researcher used a paired sample T-test through SPSS 16.0 version to analyze the result of this research. The result showed that the mean score of students’ vocabulary mastery in the post-test was higher than students’ vocabulary in the pre-test ( 53.6 > 45.28 ). The hypothesis testing found that the value of sig ( 2 Tailed ) was 0.00 while the significant alpha value was 0.05. It can be concluded that the value of Sig ( 2 Tailed) was lower than the significance of α value (0.000< 0.05). in other words, (H1) was accepted. It showed that there was a significant effect of using the Mnemonic Method on teaching vocabulary mastery at the seventh-grade students of SMPN 22 Buton Tengah.
