The purpose of this research is to determine the implementation of upselling as a strategy in increasing room sales at Alila Seminyak hotels and to find out alternative upselling strategies that should be implemented by Guest Relations Hosts in increasing room sales at Alila Seminyak hotels. The analysis technique used is the Sequential Exploratory mixed method design; Internal Factor Summary (IFAS) Matrix, External Factor Analysis Summary (EFAS) Matrix, Internal-External (IE) Matrix, SWOT analysis, and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). The analysis result of the IFAS matrix with the main strength is that the Alila Seminyak hotel has ten types of rooms that can support upselling activities to guests and can increase room sales, while the main weakness is the lack of providing special prices for guests who upselling. The analysis result of the EFAS matrix is that the main opportunity is the friendliness of the community, environment, and culture around the Alila Seminyak hotel, while the main threat is the tax policy that applies to tourists who are taken into consideration when wanting to upselling. Based on the results of the IE matrix analysis, the Alila Seminyak hotel is in the position of Growth Strategy (Cell II). The results of the SWOT analysis resulted in nine alternative upselling strategies, where three alternative upselling strategies were prioritized which were calculated by the QSPM matrix with a total TAS 232.64, 225.55, and 216.54.

ABSTRAK Penelitian dilakukan di Kelompok Usaha Bersama Karya Mina Lestari selama 2 bulan yaitu dari bulan Juni – Juli 2019. Penelitian bertujuan untuk :  1) Mengetahui strategi pemasaran ikan kakap merah KUB (Kelompok Usaha Bersama) Karya Mina Lestari 2)  Mengetahui peluang pasar usaha ikan kakap merah KUB (Kelompok Usaha Bersama) Karya Mina Lestari di Kelurahan Lantora Kecamatan Polewali Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus dengan teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor internal dapat disimpulkan faktor kekuatan adalah 2,35 lebih besar dibandingkan faktor kelemahan adalah 1,45 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor kekuatan dapat mendukung pengembangan usaha pemasaran ikan kakap merah di KUB (Kelompok Usaha Bersama) Kayra Mina Lestari sedangkan untuk faktor eksternal dapat disimpukan nilai faktor peluang adalah 2,1 lebih besar dari nilai total faktor ancaman 0,80 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Kelompok Usaha Bersama Karya Mina Lestari memiliki potensi peluang yang besar.  Keyword : KUB, SWOT, Kakap Merah ABSTRACT The present study was conducted in Joint Business Group of Mina Lestari from June to July 2019 (two months). The objectives of the present study were to determine the marketing strategy and the market opportunity of red snapper fish in Joint Business Group (KUB) of Mina Lestari, Lantora, Polewali District, Polewali Mandar Regency. A case study with SWOT analysis was applied for the analysis technique. The results showed that internal factor consists of strength factor (2,35) and weakness factor (1,45) in which the strength factor is able to promote the business marketing development of red snapper fish in KUB Mina Lestari. Meanwhile, the external factor indicated 2,1 of opportunity value which is greater than 0,080 of threat factor. Abstract— Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are business sectors that play an important role as a backbone of a nation or region"s economics. Most problems faced by small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are capital, management and production process. This study aims to give strategic proposals in expanding small and medium enterprises of gethuk pisang for conserving traditional food. The methods used in this research are internal factor evaluation (IFE), external factor evaluation (EFE), and strengths- weaknesses - opportunities - threats (SWOT), so internal factors and external factors that faced by the small and medium enterprises can be identified. Based on SWOT analysis, some analysis strategy can be used to expand the small and medium enterprises of gethuk pisang. Result showed the small and medium enterprises of gethuk pisang were in first quadrant at SWOT cartesian diagram, meant the right strategies were strengths opportunities (SO) or Growth strategy. The strategies that will be used are local government holds traditional food festival, upgrade the quality of the product and use on-line marketing technology. In conclusion, the sales of gethuk pisang products from small and medium enterprises can increase and correlate with income increase, so small and medium enterprises (SMEs) of gethuk pisang can have competitiveness and grow.Keywords— Strategy, Gethuk pisang, IFE, EFE, SWOT.  Abstrak— Usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM) merupakan suatu sektor usaha yang memiliki peran penting sebagai tulang punggung perekonomian suatu negara atau daerah. Sebagian besar permasalahan-permasalahan yang dihadapi UKM adalah permodalan, manajemen, dan proses produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan usulan strategi dalam mengembangkan UKM gethuk pisang dalam melestarikan makanan tradisional. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE), External Factor Evaluation (EFE), dan Strengths–Weaknesses - Opportunities-Threats (SWOT), sehingga dapat diidentifikasi faktor-faktor internal yang dimiliki dan faktor-faktor eksternal yang dihadapi oleh UKM. Berdasarkan analisa SWOT, maka akan diperoleh beberapa alternatif strategi yang dapat digunakan dalam mengembangkan UKM gethuk pisang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa UKM gethuk pisang berada di kuadran I pada diagram kartesius SWOT, yang berarti strategi yang tepat digunakan adalah strategi Strengths Opportunities (SO) atau strategi Growth. Strategi-strategi yang akan digunakan adalah: Pemerintah Daerah mengadakan festival makanan tradisional,  mutu produk lebih ditingkatkan, dan memanfaatkan teknologi media pemasaran on-line. Dengan demikian, produk UKM gethuk pisang dapat terjadi peningkatan penjualan dan berkorelasi dengan peningkatan pendapatan, sehingga UKM gethuk pisang memiliki daya saing dan dapat berkembang.Kata kunci — Strategi, Gethuk Pisang, IFE, EFE, SWOT

This study aims to determine the Internal (IM) and External (EM) Matrix Analysis of this business. The informasi collection method in this research is to use a questionnaire by giving written statements to the respondents. The number of respondents in this study were 107 respondents. The analytical method used was an external internal matrix. From the results of the calculation of internal and external strategic factors, the total score of internal strategy factors was 3.49 and a total score of external strategic factors was 3.05. by using a concentration growth strategy through vertical integration. The strategy of concentration growth through vertical integration is doing business related vertically, such as selling food added to the business of making new menus ( taking over the function of suppliers).

This study aims to analyze how marketing strategies implemented by PT. Gunung Intan Permata Manado in exporting the nutmeg products in order to compete with other companies. This study uses data obtanined from direct observation and interviews using questionnaires. Data analysis methods used were Matrix of Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE), Matrix of External Factor Evaluation (EFE), dan SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats). The results showed that the marketing strategy of nutmeg export applied by PT. Gunung Intan Permata is an aggressive growth strategy (growth oriented strategy). This strategy is a profitable strategy, because the company has the power that can be used to achieve the opportunities that exist. This strategy can be implemented through several alternative strategies, namely maintaining product quality and further tightening quality control to keep nutmeg demand high and maintain product quality and corporate image to maintain good business relationships and customer loyalty.

Masterpiece family karaoke Bengkulu city, is one of the industry focusing in family entertainment by presenting adequate facilities and services and more practical karaoke system, also sell a variety of food and beverages and various promotional packages, the use of play songs play store applications Masterpiece KTV through mobile phones. This study aim is to determine the analysis of external and internal matrix in Masterpiece family karaoke Bengkulu city. Data collection methods in this study is to use questionnaires by giving questions to the 75 respondents. The analytical method used is an external internal matrix. From the calculation of external internal strategy factor, it is obtained that internal strategy factor score of 3.89 and total external factor strategy score of 3.87. From the results of this study masterpiece family karaoke city Bengkulu lies in cell 1 by using growth strategy that is growth and concentration through vertical integration. Growth strategy with vertical integration is a strategy done by expanding the company by taking over the function of the supplier or taking over the distributor's function.Keywords: Marketing Strategy, External Internal Matrix Analysis

This study aimed to analyze the position of “Happy Honey Bee” English Learning Centre and Course in its business environment. This study used qualitative research method. The data was collected using observations and interviews. The respondent of interview was owner and manager of the company. The data was analyzed using SWOT analysis that developed by Pearce and Robinson (2008). We used IFAS (Internal Factor Analysis Summary) matrix analysis, EFAS (External Factor Analysis Summary), and SWOT (Strengths Weaknesses Opportunities Threats) matrix analysis. The results showed that the condition of “Happy Honey Bee” is not profitable enough. The calculation of EFAS is 0.246 and IFAS is -0.523. In the SWOT matrix diagram, the company was in quadrant 3. The quadrant indicated that the company faces many obstacles, but it still has enough time and sufficient resources to find solutions.

The rapid development of today's technology encourages every component in the government create a new idea. The government of Denpasar has implemented smart city program by triggering tour package of Denpasar City tour. However, in the arrangement of the Badung River as a tourist attraction by the government of Denpasar is not yet optimaliced in developing its tourism. The potency has not been able to attract tourists to visit the Badung River as a new tourist attraction. Therefore, it needs an effort to develop a river tour package to preserve the local wisdom so that it remains sustainable. The purpose of this research is to plan a river tour through the development of local wisdom-based travel packages in Badung river. This research uses mix method. Data collection is done using interview techniques, observations, and documentation studies. The data analysis used in this research is internal factor analysis using IFAS, external factor analysis using EFAS, and SWOT analysis. The results showed that the growth strategy can be designed by maintaining the local culture and wisdom. It is further developed by planning a tour package of the River Tour which has been tailored to the needs and desires of tourists.

The purpose of this research is to find out the dominant factors of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to SSS Silver's silvercraft business in running its business and determine marketing strategies that can be applied to SSS Silver silvercraft business in order to grow its business. The number of respondents who were the management of SSS Silver who sampled the research was 3 people. The analysis technique used is SWOT analysis. The results of this study show that the dominant internal factor affecting SSS Silver's silver craft business in running its company's operations is the strength factor, while the dominant external factor is the business opportunity factor that SSS Silver has. Based on the results of SWOT analysis, the right strategy used by SSS Silver silvercraft business is so strategy model that is a strategy that uses strength and by utilizing opportunities (Opportunies). This study aims to describe the prospect of the trend of export sales volume of 32/1 cotton carded yarn in PT Dan Liris. In 2018, the volume of exports of 32/1 cotton carded yarn to China dropped dramatically to zero orders. In addition, research on the decline in the sales volume of exports of 32/1 cotton carded yarn to China aims to find out deeply the flow of the company's external factors, namely trade war which caused a decline in the volume of export sales to China at PT Dan Liris. The method used in this study is a mixed method by providing an overview of the problems that occur in the PT Dan Liris company. The analytical tool in this study is the trend analysis technique by giving an overview of the trend in volume and the prospect of possible future export volumes of yarn products. The results of the analysis of the data obtained are the volume of export sales of PT Dan Liris yarn to China that are upside down or unstable. This study also succeeded in revealing that the existence of external factors in the trade war that occurred between the United States and China was very detrimental to the company in terms of income and continuity of production. Based on the results of the analysis of the data, the authors then conducted a SWOT analysis matrix as the company's alternative. The author suggests 12 new strategies that can be done by PT Dan Liris such as PT Dan Liris can take action by utilizing promotional services either online or offline, conducting research and analyzing the development of buyer countries related to economic issues on a regular basis, as well as the likely impact on the company. A survey of customer satisfaction and attention to employee welfare is also very important to maintain the integrity of the company. Keywords: Sales Volume, Trade War, Company Integrity.

The aim of being able to see what development strategies are suitable for mangrove tourism in Kampung Sejahtera on Baai Island, Bengkulu City. The research objective was to see the strategy for developing mangrove tourism in Kampung Sejahtera on Baai Island, Bengkulu City with a SWOT analysis. The data collection used was a questionnaire method with a list of questions to the respondents. The analysis method used is a SWOT analysis to see internal factors and external factors, which will then be entered into the SWOT matrix. The research results obtained from the analysis of internal factors and external factors. The result of the internal factor is a strength (strength) of 2.75 while the weakness (weakness) is 1.46, so the value of the internal factor is 2.75-1.46 = 1.29 while from the external factor the opportunity (opportunity) is 2 , 52 and for the threat (threat) is 1.58, the value of the external factor is 2.52-1.58 = 0.94. Based on the analysis diagram, the SWOT strategy is in the Cell (quadrant) I position. This shows that the SO strategy in the SWOT matrix is an aggressive strategy. This strategy explains that Kampung Sejahtera mangrove tourism can take advantage of the surrounding environment. The environment around mangrove tourism is still natural so that it is very likely for the community to add stages such as trading, opening food stalls, and lodging businesses around the mangrove tourism of Kampung Sejahtera on Baai Island, Bengkulu City, and Utilizing mangrove forests so as not to abrasion around mangrove tourism Kampung Sejahtera on Baai Island, Bengkulu City, which makes the tourist area safe and tourists who visit are comfortable and not worried about abrasion
