This study aims to determine the Internal (IM) and External (EM) Matrix Analysis of this business. The informasi collection method in this research is to use a questionnaire by giving written statements to the respondents. The number of respondents in this study were 107 respondents. The analytical method used was an external internal matrix. From the results of the calculation of internal and external strategic factors, the total score of internal strategy factors was 3.49 and a total score of external strategic factors was 3.05. by using a concentration growth strategy through vertical integration. The strategy of concentration growth through vertical integration is doing business related vertically, such as selling food added to the business of making new menus ( taking over the function of suppliers).

Masterpiece family karaoke Bengkulu city, is one of the industry focusing in family entertainment by presenting adequate facilities and services and more practical karaoke system, also sell a variety of food and beverages and various promotional packages, the use of play songs play store applications Masterpiece KTV through mobile phones. This study aim is to determine the analysis of external and internal matrix in Masterpiece family karaoke Bengkulu city. Data collection methods in this study is to use questionnaires by giving questions to the 75 respondents. The analytical method used is an external internal matrix. From the calculation of external internal strategy factor, it is obtained that internal strategy factor score of 3.89 and total external factor strategy score of 3.87. From the results of this study masterpiece family karaoke city Bengkulu lies in cell 1 by using growth strategy that is growth and concentration through vertical integration. Growth strategy with vertical integration is a strategy done by expanding the company by taking over the function of the supplier or taking over the distributor's function.Keywords: Marketing Strategy, External Internal Matrix Analysis

The purpose of this research is to determine the implementation of upselling as a strategy in increasing room sales at Alila Seminyak hotels and to find out alternative upselling strategies that should be implemented by Guest Relations Hosts in increasing room sales at Alila Seminyak hotels. The analysis technique used is the Sequential Exploratory mixed method design; Internal Factor Summary (IFAS) Matrix, External Factor Analysis Summary (EFAS) Matrix, Internal-External (IE) Matrix, SWOT analysis, and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). The analysis result of the IFAS matrix with the main strength is that the Alila Seminyak hotel has ten types of rooms that can support upselling activities to guests and can increase room sales, while the main weakness is the lack of providing special prices for guests who upselling. The analysis result of the EFAS matrix is that the main opportunity is the friendliness of the community, environment, and culture around the Alila Seminyak hotel, while the main threat is the tax policy that applies to tourists who are taken into consideration when wanting to upselling. Based on the results of the IE matrix analysis, the Alila Seminyak hotel is in the position of Growth Strategy (Cell II). The results of the SWOT analysis resulted in nine alternative upselling strategies, where three alternative upselling strategies were prioritized which were calculated by the QSPM matrix with a total TAS 232.64, 225.55, and 216.54.

Abstract— Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are business sectors that play an important role as a backbone of a nation or region"s economics. Most problems faced by small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are capital, management and production process. This study aims to give strategic proposals in expanding small and medium enterprises of gethuk pisang for conserving traditional food. The methods used in this research are internal factor evaluation (IFE), external factor evaluation (EFE), and strengths- weaknesses - opportunities - threats (SWOT), so internal factors and external factors that faced by the small and medium enterprises can be identified. Based on SWOT analysis, some analysis strategy can be used to expand the small and medium enterprises of gethuk pisang. Result showed the small and medium enterprises of gethuk pisang were in first quadrant at SWOT cartesian diagram, meant the right strategies were strengths opportunities (SO) or Growth strategy. The strategies that will be used are local government holds traditional food festival, upgrade the quality of the product and use on-line marketing technology. In conclusion, the sales of gethuk pisang products from small and medium enterprises can increase and correlate with income increase, so small and medium enterprises (SMEs) of gethuk pisang can have competitiveness and grow.Keywords— Strategy, Gethuk pisang, IFE, EFE, SWOT.  Abstrak— Usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM) merupakan suatu sektor usaha yang memiliki peran penting sebagai tulang punggung perekonomian suatu negara atau daerah. Sebagian besar permasalahan-permasalahan yang dihadapi UKM adalah permodalan, manajemen, dan proses produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan usulan strategi dalam mengembangkan UKM gethuk pisang dalam melestarikan makanan tradisional. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE), External Factor Evaluation (EFE), dan Strengths–Weaknesses - Opportunities-Threats (SWOT), sehingga dapat diidentifikasi faktor-faktor internal yang dimiliki dan faktor-faktor eksternal yang dihadapi oleh UKM. Berdasarkan analisa SWOT, maka akan diperoleh beberapa alternatif strategi yang dapat digunakan dalam mengembangkan UKM gethuk pisang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa UKM gethuk pisang berada di kuadran I pada diagram kartesius SWOT, yang berarti strategi yang tepat digunakan adalah strategi Strengths Opportunities (SO) atau strategi Growth. Strategi-strategi yang akan digunakan adalah: Pemerintah Daerah mengadakan festival makanan tradisional,  mutu produk lebih ditingkatkan, dan memanfaatkan teknologi media pemasaran on-line. Dengan demikian, produk UKM gethuk pisang dapat terjadi peningkatan penjualan dan berkorelasi dengan peningkatan pendapatan, sehingga UKM gethuk pisang memiliki daya saing dan dapat berkembang.Kata kunci — Strategi, Gethuk Pisang, IFE, EFE, SWOT

Kabupaten Rembang mempunyai potensi perikanan yang layak untuk dikembangkan, khususnya adalah pengolahan ikan pindang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk  mengetahui faktor-faktor strategis internal dan eksternal serta menyusun strategi sentra UMKM ikan pindang di Desa Tasikagung Kabupaten Rembang. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, alat analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis SWOT. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) sebesar 2,735. Sedangkan skor External Factor Evaluation (EFE) sebesar 3,062. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa arah  strategi pengembangan sentra UMKM ikan pindang di Tasikagung Kabupaten Rembang berada di sel II yaitu pada fase tumbuh dan membangun yang dapat ditingkatkan dengan konsentrasi horizontal. Sehingga strategi pengembangan sentra UMKM ikan pindang di Tasikagung Kabupaten Rembang adalah pengembangan pasar baru, pembinaan usaha, pelatihan usaha, peran pemerintah perlu ditingkatkan, penguatan kelembagaan sentra, pemberian bantuan alat, menjaga kualitas produk, dan koordinasi antara dinas terkait dengan anggota sentra ikan pindang. Rembang Regency has fishery potential that is feasible to be developed, especially is in processing of pindang fish. The purpose of this research is to  know the internal and external strategic factors and developed progam UMKM center of bloater in village Tasikagung , Rembang Regency.  The results showed that the Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) score was 2.735, while the External Factor Evaluation (EFE) score was 3.062. This indicatesd that the direction of the development strategy of UMKM center of bloater in Tasikagung Rembang Regency was in cell II that was in growth and built phase which can be increased with horizontal concentration. Hence, the development strategy of bloater UMKM center in Tasikagung Rembang Regency is the development of new market, business coaching, business training, government role need to be improved, strengthening of central institute, giving tool aid, maintaining product quality, and coordination between offices related to members of bloater center.

This study aims to analyze how marketing strategies implemented by PT. Gunung Intan Permata Manado in exporting the nutmeg products in order to compete with other companies. This study uses data obtanined from direct observation and interviews using questionnaires. Data analysis methods used were Matrix of Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE), Matrix of External Factor Evaluation (EFE), dan SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats). The results showed that the marketing strategy of nutmeg export applied by PT. Gunung Intan Permata is an aggressive growth strategy (growth oriented strategy). This strategy is a profitable strategy, because the company has the power that can be used to achieve the opportunities that exist. This strategy can be implemented through several alternative strategies, namely maintaining product quality and further tightening quality control to keep nutmeg demand high and maintain product quality and corporate image to maintain good business relationships and customer loyalty.

This study aims to: 1) analysing internal factor (strengths and weakness) and external factor (opportunity and threats) in the marketing of body scrub product by PT. Arjuna Yoga Sakti; 2) formulating alternative strategy which can be used on body scrub by PT. Arjuna Yoga Sakti; 3) establish a priority strategy for increasing the marketing for body scrub product by PT. Arjuna Yoga Sakti. Business development strategy is determind by using SWOT (Strenght, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats) matrix analysis, supported by quantitative analysis was using matrix EFE, IFE, IE and QSPM. The result showed that the weight value for matrix Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) was 3,23 (strong position) and External Factor Evaluation (EFE) was 2,53 (relatively moderate). In the Matrix Internal External (IE) strategy that must be done was to grow and establish strategies (growth and build), which consist of an intensive strategy (market penetration, market development and product development) or integrative strategies (backward integration, forward integration and integration horizontal). The priority strategy that can be applied for body scrub by PT. This study aims to determine the cost, revenue and profit in potato cultivation in  Ngablak  subdistrict,  analyze  internal  and  external  factors,  formulate  strategic alternatives, prioritize strategies that can be applied in developing in potato cultivation in  the  Ngablak  subdistrict.  The  basic  method  of  research  is  descriptive  analysis.  The research location in Ngablak subdistrict  Magelang regency. The data used are primary and  secondary  data.  Analysis  of  the  data  were  used:  (1)  Cost,  Revenue,  Income  and Profit, (2) Analysis of Internal Factor Evaluation, (3) External Factor Evaluation, (4) SWOT  Analysis,  (5)  QSPM.  The  Results  showed,  the  cost  potato  cultivationis Rp.11,413,271.00,  revenue  is  Rp.18,631,117.00.  income  to  Rp.7,217,846.00  and  the profit received Rp.4,827,071.00. Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) showed that there are four strengths and six weaknesses. External Factor Evaluation (EFE) shows that there are six opportunities and three threats. SWOT Analysis generate alternative strategies that  can  be  applied  is  to  maintain  the  quality  and  increase  the  quantity  of  potato cultivation  with  agricultural  intensification,  maximizing  land  for  planting  potato through  monoculture  cropping  systems  and  crop  rotation  as  well  as  utilizing  existing technology and marketing cooperation relationship with more than a middleman. QSPM analysis showed that the priority of strategy can be applied is to maintain the quality and increasing the quantity of potato cultivation with agricultural intensification.

Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis SWOT, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu apa faktor internal dan eksternal untuk mempromosikan penyerapan tenaga kerja laki-laki di sektor pengolahan rambut palsu. Studi ini juga menganalisis terkait strategi yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan penyerapan tenaga kerja laki-laki di sektor ini. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 97 responden yang merupakan pekerja laki-laki yang saat ini bekerja di bagian pengolahan rambut palsu. Kemudian, responden ahli dalam penelitian ini adalah industri pengolahan rambut palsu dan Departemen Tenaga Kerja Purbalingga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor Evaluasi Faktor Internal (IFE) adalah 2,3597. Sedangkan skor Evaluasi Faktor Eksternal (EFE) adalah 3,1229. Ini menunjukkan bahwa kondisi internal untuk meningkatkan penyerapan tenaga kerja laki-laki di sektor industri pengolahan rambut palsu masuk ke kategori sedang. Sedangkan kondisi eksternal untuk meningkatkan penyerapan tenaga kerja laki-laki di sektor industri pengolahan rambut palsu masuk ke dalam kategori tinggi. Jadi arah strategis penyerapan tenaga kerja laki-laki di sektor industri pengolahan rambut palsu yang berada di divisi dua. Yaitu dalam pertumbuhan dan fase pembangunan yang dapat ditingkatkan dengan konsentrasi melalui integrasi horizontal   This research Using the SWOT analysis, this study seeks to find out what are the strategic factors internal and external to promote absorption of men in fake hair processing sector. This study also attempts to analyze the strategies that can be done to increase the absorption of men labor in the sector. The sample in this study amounted to 97 respondents who are men workers who are currently worked in the fake hair processing. Then, the expert respondents in this study is the fake hair processing industry and Purbalingga labor department.  The results showed that the score of the Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) is 2,3597. While the score of External Factor Evaluation (EFE) is 3,1229. This indicates that the internal conditions for increasing absorption of men labor in the fake hair processing industry sector into the medium category. While the external conditions for increasing absorption of men labor in the fake hair processing industry sector into the high category. So the strategic direction of the absorption of male labor in the fake hair processing industry sector that are in division two. That is in a growth and a building phase which can be improved by concentration through horizontal integration.

Cindy Group is a company grouped as SMEs which produces boiled fish, both traditional and hygienic. Companies to keep their survival in order to survive in a competitive market, must have a strategy to attract consumers to buy their products. One of the best strategy is to evaluate and develop appropriate marketing strategies. The objectives of this research are: (1) to identify and analyze internal and external factors influencing Cindy Group marketing strategy, (2) to formulate Cindy Group marketing strategy, and (3) to prioritize Cindy Group marketing strategy. Based on internal and external factors, Cindy Group formulated strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats toward marketing strategy using Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) and External Factor Evaluation (EFE). The total score in the IFE and EFE matrices illustrated that the firm's stable position in responding to external situations. The total IFE score of 3.3436 indicated that the strengths of Cindy Group could overcome the weaknessess very well. Total EFE score of 2.5545 indicated that Cindy Group was good enough to respond the opportunities and minimize threats. Based on QSPM analysis, the priority strategy to be applied in the marketing of fishery processed products at UMKM Cindy Group which was expanding marketing network, maintaining quality, increasing sales service and increasing cooperation with related institutions and cooperatives/other SMEs in order to get raw material access.

One product from the sugar cane is brown sugar cane. ‘UKM Bumi Asih’ is one of the producer of the sugar cane in Bondowoso Regency. Brown sugar cane has potential prospect to developed because it can be used to any purposed (for household needs and beverage industries). This study was aimed to identify the internal and external factors that affected business development of brown sugar cane. The study were used the methods of internal factor evaluation (IFE) and eksternal factor evaluation (EFE). Internal factor analysis was performed to identify the company's internal strengths that can be used and anticipated weaknesses. External factor analysis was conducted to identify opportunities that can be exploited and threats that can be avoided. The scores output from matrix IFE and EFE were all categorized with total score 2.812 for internal factors and 3.0315 for external factor. Both scores were above 2.5 which meas that the internal position was strong enough. So its has the ability above the average to take advantage of the power and opportunities to anticipated the internal weakness and the threats.
