Abstract Naturally occurring shrimp fry, carried by tidal action, has been collected on the beach in estuarine areas and in some rivers in Cox's Bazar and Khulna for a long time. Many rural poor people trap the fry using 'behundi' (bag nets) and different kinds of nets and supply them to the shrimp grow-out farmers at a reasonable price. As the year-by-year demand for fry increased, and naturally occurring fry decreased as a result of overfishing, the price of shrimp seed increased. Production of shrimp seed therefore became important for shrimp farming in Bangladesh. Presently about 50 hatcheries produce shrimp seed and their hatchery capacity is not being fully utilised. Limited technical know-how and viral infected (white spot syndrome virus) seed are the major constraints for the shrimp industry in the country. Despite this, shrimp culture is increasing in popularity in Bangladesh because of the potential profitability.

Jamu is a traditional drink that can increase stamina in maintaining a healthy body, herbal medicine has been known for a long time and is in demand by both women and men. Jamu can not only be in liquid form, but can also be in powder form. During this pandemic, many people are interested in maintaining body stamina by drinking herbal medicine. One of the managers of the Apple Garden RPTRA in the Tanjung Duren area, Mrs. Sri Lestari Rahayu, started a business making herbal medicine during this pandemic. Initially, this desire was carried out to help people who are in self-isolation due to Covid 19. Based on an interview with Mrs. Sri, the processing is still carried out traditionally, starting from the process of weighing ingredients, cleaning, shaving spices, separating water and removing materials, boiling, filtering and pouring into glass bottles. When the demand for herbal medicine increases, Ibu Sri's herbal medicine business is often unable to quickly meet the demand, because the process is still traditional and requires a large amount of manpower. The problem faced is the process of water content separation and filtration is slow so that the processing time becomes longer, so that the production capacity is limited. Based on this, this community service activity is carried out to help these businesses by applying appropriate technology machines, namely a water draining machine to separate water and herbal dregs. The activity was carried out at the herbal medicine processing facility located in the area of Jalan Alpukat XII no.27 Tanjung Duren Utara Grogol Petamburan. This activity is carried out in theory and practice using a draining machine, of course, by following health protocols. The application of a draining machine using an electric motor driving machine can shorten the time of the water content separation process with a draining process time of 1 minute 36 seconds. Production capacity is further increased by the amount produced for one production of 17 bottles, and one day can produce 12 times the boiling process Jamu. With the implementation of training activities on the use of water content draining machines, it can help herbal medicine businesses to filter and separate spices and liquids so that the processing time becomes shorter and the results achieved are cleaner and fresher.

The role of monetary factor in generating inflationary processes in Russia has stimulated various debates in social and scientific circles for a relatively long time. The authors show that identification of the specificity of relationship between money and inflation requires a complex approach based on statistical modeling and involving a wide range of indicators relevant for the price changes in the economy. As a result a model of inflation for Russia implying the decomposition of inflation dynamics into demand-side and supply-side factors is suggested. The main conclusion drawn is that during the recent years the volume of inflationary pressures in the Russian economy has been determined by the deviation of money supply from money demand, rather than by money supply alone. At the same time, monetary factor has a long-run spread over time impact on inflation.

Abstract The Pacific white shrimp, with the largest production in shrimp industry, has suffered from multiple severe viral and bacterial diseases, which calls for a more reliable and environmentally friendly system to promote shrimp culture. The “Aquamimicry system”, mimicking the nature of aquatic ecosystems for the well-being of aquatic animals, has effectively increased shrimp production and been adapted in many countries. However, the microbial communities in the shrimp intestine and surrounding environment that act as an essential component in Aquamimicry remain largely unknown. In this study, the microbial composition and diversity alteration in shrimp intestine, surrounding water and sediment at different culture stages were investigated by high throughput sequencing of 16S rRNA gene, obtaining 13,562 operational taxonomic units (OTUs). Results showed that the microbial communities in shrimp intestine and surrounding environment were significantly distinct from each other, and 23 distinguished taxa for each habitat were further characterized. The microbial communities differed significantly at different culture stages, confirmed by a great number of OTUs dramatically altered during the culture period. A small part of these altered OTUs were shared between shrimp intestine and surrounding environment, suggesting that the microbial alteration of intestine was not consistent with that of water and sediment. Regarding the high production of Aquamimicry farm used as a case in this study, the dissimilarity between intestinal and surrounding microbiota might be considered as a potential indicator for healthy status of shrimp farming, which provided hints on the appropriate culture practices to improve shrimp production.

This paper aims to investigate the three-stage theory of international expansion in the long run from the perspective of firm behavior. Although this topic has been mostly explored using data from developed countries, this paper aims to fill the research gap in an emerging market by using an extensive unbalanced panel data of 12,704 unlisted Vietnam manufacturing enterprises from the General Statistics Office during 2007 to 2012. The findings illustrated a significant S-shaped relationship between internationalization and performance. Notably, the results depict significantly moderating effects of both high-discretion slacks and low-discretion slacks on the internationalization–performance relationship across three stages of global expansion as an enterprise enhances this relationship in the first and third stage although this worsens it in the middle stage. The empirical results suggest that firms should determine the optimum level of internationalization and slacks in addition to balancing their costs with their real gains.

UKM (small and medium enterprises) in the Tembesi Tower, Tembesi sub-district, are not developing well. This is indicated by the low turnover obtained by each UKM (small and medium enterprise) in 1 month. customer expectations. New products must be made so that these small and medium businesses can survive and continue to exist. The new product must have a distinctive and good quality so that the product positioning is clearer and able to compete with other products on the market. This service activity aims to provide a solution to this by creating a new product in the form of a dab soap that is safe for health and environmentally friendly. Some soaps circulating in the market only prioritize cleaning power, but the chemical content in the soap is harmful to health and the environment. The impact of conventional soap on health is irritation of the skin which, if left for a long time, the irritation will turn into eczema. In addition, conventional soap also harms the environment because the raw material for soap comes from petroleum which is difficult to be broken down by bacteria. Community service activities are carried out in the form of coaching. The service team expects to increase the income and advantages of UKM (small and medium businesses) in the Tembesi Tower and to be able to create jobs or open a business with a revolutionary cream soap product design.

Abstract In this article, we use tests of explosive behavior in real house prices with annual data for the case of Australia for the period 1870–2020. The main contribution of this paper is the use of very long time series. It is important to use longer span data because it offers more powerful econometric results. To detect episodes of potential explosive behavior in house prices over this long period, we use the recursive unit root tests for explosiveness proposed by Phillips et al. (2011), (2015a,b). According to the results, there is a clear speculative bubble behavior in real house prices between 1997 and 2020, speculative process that has not yet been adjusted.
