This research aims to evaluate the effect of SEFT therapy on anxiety amongst the elderly. The research used quasi experiment methods with pre-test post-test and a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling method, which obtained with 38 respondents of which 19 received SEFT therapy six times in a week and 19 were the control group. The results of this research shows an average anxiety level in the treatment group before intervention of 29.74 with standard deviation of 11.435 and after intervention this dropped to 20.79 with a standard deviation of 6.997. Within the control group, the average of anxiety level before was 26.58 with standard deviation 9.640 and after was 26.32 with standard deviation 8.564. The statistical test uses parametric test, which is paired t-test analysisi which shows that there are differences in the average anxiety level after intervention in both groups with p value 0.036 (α ≤0.05). Based on the results it can be concluded that SEFT improved anxiety level significantly in the elderly. Therefore, the SEFT therapy can be applied in the community as an alternative therapy to overcome anxiety.   Keywords: SEFT Therapy, Elderly, Anxiety

This study aims to determine whether there are differences in wound healing post heating perineum between the mother given anesthesia before suturing the perineum with mothers who are not given anesthesia before suturing the perineum. This type of research is pre-experimentation, design research group intact comparison. research conducted on 1 October to 20 October 2015 in BPM "G" and BPM "Y" Lubuk Alung with a total sample of six people, the sampling technique accidental sampling. Data analysis was done by Independent T statistical test. The results showed long wound healing using anesthesia is 10 days while the healing of wounds that do not use anesthesia is 6 days. Bivariate analysis results can be concluded there is a difference in the rate of wound healing between the mother given anesthetic before action is taken by the mothers perineal suturing were not given anesthesia before action is taken perineal suturing with a P value of Value 0.013 (<0.05). Health workers must increase their skills and communication in case of normal delivery in order to rupture perineum reduced and teach patients how to wound care of perineal is good and right that wound healing is rapid and normal in hope of decreasing the risk of infection during childbirth.

Based on the results of the survey conducted through interviews with nutritionists, it was explained that there were 16 stunting toddlers in Posyandu V Surabaya. Quantitative Research Methodology, a quasi-experimental research design method with one group pretest posttest approach. The population in this study were all mothers of children under five in Posyandu V Mulyorejo Surabaya as many as 36 people, samples as many as 36 mothers of toddlers. With a total sampling technique. Analyze data with Paired T-test. The results showed the mean value of the pre test was 6.06, the mean value after the post test reached 8.16. While the significance value of p value = 0,000 with α = 0.05 through the Paired T-test. The conclusion is that there are differences in the knowledge of pre and post test among mothers of children under five in Posyandu V Mulyorejo Surabaya, p value = 0,000 with α = 0.05. Suggestions for health workers to continue to make improvements in practicing emotional demonstration to participants because it is very useful in increasing knowledge to prevent increased stunting rates.

This research uses experimental design of an activity to experiment aimed to determine the effect of the treatment that given using design of pre and post test only design, which will be held in SLB YAAT Surakarta, with the sampling technique used purposive sampling technique is determined by considering the purpose of research based on criteria which decided. The instrument which is used in this study were (collecting data) using instrument Assessment of Children's Language Comprehension (ACLC). From the test results of the data analysis by paired sample t-test on the variable of vocabulary in the pre-test and post-test had mean (average) and standard deviation of 0.20068-145 while the p-value (sig.) = 0.000> 0.05, in the two critical elements of variables or two important elements in the pre-test and post-test had a mean (average) and standard deviation of 9.71431 -22.33 while the p-value (sig.) = 0.000> 0.05. In the three critical elements of variables or three important elements in the pre-test and post-test had a mean (average) and standard deviation -17.00 16.43168 whereas the p-value (sig.) = 0.000> 0.05. While in the four critical elements of variables or four important elements of the pre-test and post test had a mean (average) and standard deviation 12.33 14.06471 whereas the p-value (sig.) = 0.000> 0.05. This shows that all the variables in this study showed that there is a significant effect of increasing their vocabulary and speech in children with mental retardation before and after exercise using DTT in SLB YAAT Surakarta.
